Clint Barton: After the Thanos Snap, I became the ruthless vigilante known as Ronin. I took my rage out on the worst of humanity, even though it cost me my soul.
The Avengers: HOW COULD YOU, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO! HOW CAN YOU JUSTIFY MURDERING SO MANY PEOPLE-
Kate Bishop, in her Ronin cosplay: -Clint did nothing wrong.
The Avengers: ...
Kate Bishop: Look, sometimes, the best way to deal with the loss of your family is to take down crime syndicates all over the world. I totally get it. By the way, how the heck are there still crime syndicates with you Avengers around? Aren't you supposed to be stopping those kinds of things?
The Avengers: ...

If Fanny and Lucky don't have a puppy playdate in the Hawkeye show, I'm going to be very disappointed

you're the first one i have seen who likes hawkeye (obviously you're not the only but from i what seen so far). like i love the mcu version of hawkeye and renner's portrayal is different but that's what all adaptations are. and with the hawkeye show coming, i hope this is where renner can shine better than any of the little screentime he was give in the other films (as he was obviously overshadowed by the "big three" iron man, thor, and captain america)
Fortunately there are still many, many people out there who love Clint, too!!
I think, the one reason why so many people don’t like the MCU Clint is because of the futzing Ultimates Hawkeye version they used in the movies. I read many comics but the Ultimates Hawkeye has always been my least favorite.
And the other reason is, he has nearly no screen time in the movies. He has a total of one hour and sixteen minutes of screen time in all the movies, so... how can Renner show us Hawkeye if they don’t let him?
But - I said that before and I will say it again - whenever they gave Renner the chance, he gave us the Hawkeye we all love so much! That’s why I’m sooooo excited for the show!!

seen so many people on tiktok talking about the post-credits scene in black widow like ‘wow they really want us to be like NOOO NOT CLINT! LMAO do we care though?’ and it’s really driving home how much my love of Clint is based in the 2012 fandom that took this dorky circus boy and ran with it, took the nothing the films gave us and created this whole incredible blend of headcanons and comic book representation. So much of my love is routed in things like the hawkeye initiative and how we are all certain he would love to wear those skimpy outfits, how much we rested on ‘you’d better call it, caulson, ‘cause i’m starting to root for this guy’ and ‘you and i remember budapest very differently’
Anyway there’s no point i’m trying to make here other than how tragic it is to be raised with all the films now out there and see hawkeye only as dad with a farm and not five-cups-of -coffee-to-get-out-of-bed, would deep sigh if he’d just sat down when SHIELD rings him, barely responsible enough to own a dog Clint Barton.

Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye | Official Trailer | Disney+
Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye will premiere on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

the most unrealistic thing that MCU has tried to convince me of is that Kate Bishop is a fan girl of MCU Hawkeye…
THE MCU HAWKEYE???

I'm just gonna say, I can't wait to see Yelena meet Clint and Kate.
I can only imagine the frustration Clint is gonna have dealing with a mini Natasha and a mini him.

Before the Hawkeye trailer premiered, I was picturing Yelena Belova as this angry stalker hunting Clint down. Like a Terminator who wants vengeance for Nat.
After the Hawkeye trailer, now I’m picturing her as that one character who is trying to come off as a big threat but the main characters are just too tired and annoyed to care.
Yelena: I’M HERE TO KILL YOU!
Clint trying to catch his breath after blowing up the Tracksuit Mafia’s headquarters: Yeah, yeah, so is everyone else.
Kate who has an ice pack on her head because she messed up her superhero landing: What he said, can’t you be a little more original with your villain motivations?

Ok, hear me out, what if the Hawkeye TV Show takes place in anther timeline/universe. Let me explain.
In the first episode it seems like the same universe, but some things out off. Clint never mentions his family, he has hearing aids, and he lives in an apartment not a farm.
Now all of these things can be brushed off by the viewer with explanations that alien with the original timeline. Maybe Clint got divorced and he lost his hearing in an accident.
The only thing is, in the show these inconsistencies are never addressed by anyone. They are just treated as normal. People may think it’s odd, but they will just explain it away with the solutions above, it’s only the first episode after all.
But as the show goes on these inconsistencies get more and more obvious. There are bigger and bigger changes that just aren’t addressed, at all.
And as the main plot with Clint and Kate is going on, we follow Yelena who is trying to track Clint down. This will obviously take place in the normal universe which will leave people confused about the timeline and what universe there in.
Eventually there is something said that makes it obvious that Clint never had a family in the universe of the show. I feel like this will happen at the end of the second to last episode to keep viewers interested.
In the finale episode Yelena tracks down MCU!Clint at his family farm and she’s about to kill him. Only for a portal to open up and Alternate Universe Clint and Kate show up. And then that’s the end of the show.
The only evidence I have for this theory is that we’ve seen pictures of Clint with hearing aids, which he hasn’t had in the MCU before. The pictures that are released make it look like he’s living in the city. It’s being released in late November which means that it will end around the time “No WayHome” premieres, and since that movie will probably have the multiverse, it would make since for them to have it feature in Hawkeye since their releasing it so soon before it. And it would also lead into multiverses of madness, which two out of the three marvel shows have already done.
Anyway this is just my theory. It’s probably just wishful thinking but there is some evidence towards it. Please tell me your thoughts :)

A week ago, I wrote a fan fic featuring a Captain America musical in the main plot. Today, I watched the Hawkeye trailer.
Either Broadway has become predictable or I'm psychic.
