I was gifted a zebra cactus pup a few years after the jade cutting from the previous post.
It fared about as well.
September 27, 2020 and November 27, 2022. There are nine of them in this pot, and another three still in the original pot. One of the poor little guys (probably the original plant) didn’t make it, but the others seem to be doing okay, even if it’s the time of year when my haworthias and haworthia-adjacent plants look a little sad.

I got sick of having so many pots on my desk so I combined some of them.
Peperomia ferreyrae "pincushion plant"
Haworthiopsis fasciata "zebra plant"
Lithops pseudotruncatella "living stone"
Haworthia obstusa cultivar "sky lantern"

These two ended up next to each other unintentionally, but I like the contrast enough that I've considered potting them up together. The main problem would be that the haworthiopsis grows much faster and would easily crowd the aloe out. Might wait to see how long it takes for those pups to put on that size, if they're even making any chlorophyll themselves.

Peperomia maijeri belongs to a class of "window leaved" Peperomias that have epidermal windows which appear here as the dark green partion along the midline of the leaf. In cross section, the surface is actually a clear window that increases the plant's absorption of radiant energy. This adaptaion is also found in a number of plants including Lithops, Haworthia and Haworthiopsis.

Bros. I need some help.
I need to name this plant. He has been with me for several years, since around the time I dropped out of college. And I got him to give me something to take care of. And I have managed not to kill her, miraculously!
I can't remember exactly what kind of plant she is. He's a succulent, I think of the haworthiopsis or haworthia genus? She might be some variety of "zebra plant," but I'm not sure tbh. He's just a lil tiny.
Any ideas??? My inbox is open! Comment! Anon me! DM me! Someone help me! I'm at a loss here! But he deserves a name!
