If I literally hadn't just gone and written an insane thesis for my friends a week ago of the very much theoretical queer reading/viewing of Hayley's relationship with gender presentation over the years with her finally being able to present femininity in a way she's comfortable with and has full control over which in turn allows her to explore ways she can present that grubby boy aesthetic she very much loves in a way that isn't to either counter the femme aesthetics or to prove the point that "she's not like other girls, so she's allowed in the boys club"

She hadn’t seen her parents in so long, not when she left Woodsboro the moment she turned 18 to join Sam in Modesto. Yes she did kept in contact with her brother and lost all contact with her parents, meaning they didn’t have her phone number, didn’t know where she was or what she was doing. The girl needed a fresh start, luckily it was easy to have your best friend/sister there with you. Time had past and well, Hayley got herself a boyfriend knowing for a fact her parents wouldn’t approve, neither would her brother. He would maybe more understandable. Okay not really. Sam was the one who didn’t really make a big deal out of it. 

Hayley had decided one day to reach out to her mother and she was back in contact with her again. some texts here and there. One day something happened she never thought she would be doing, hurt her brother, her twin, her literal other half. Was it a thrill with being Ghostface? In a way yes it was. It was only in a way to scare him or more likely her parents. When she was back home the next morning her mother called saying Riley got rushed to the hospital as he was stabbed badly. How was this possible no, no. What did she do. 

Once arriving in Woodsboro, the brunette walked in the hospital and to the room where her brother was and where she saw her parents again after years. The way she saw Riley laying like that just made her anxious. The guilt was probably on her face and still hoping no one would notice. “I-Is he going to be okay?” Her mother nodded. Taking some steps backwards. “I need some air.” While she had also received a text so she ran out and went outside. Not knowing that Billy would follow her outside when she started an argument with Stu. When Stu spotted Billy a smirk appeared on his face. “Like, father like daughter. It’s in your blood.  You can’t tell me you didn’t enjoyed it.” With that he walked away, which made Hayley throw a ring at him. “Screw you!” Running her hand through her hair as she sighed, tears welling up in eyes not even noticing her father has seen everything what just played out. She then walked up to her car taking a deep breath, before she was heading back to the hospital as she spotted her father, as she was pretending nothing had happened, knowing for fact he had seen everything. “What? Did you follow me outside? I just needed to get some air.”

Me: Would it be in character for the Stans to not go into deep discussion about what happened with Bill during the nine months at sea? I mean, Ford probably wants to leave it behind him but he'd probably carry a lot of guilt after him not letting people in about Bill (outside of Dipper) almost cost him his brother's life. And I'm sure Stan would want him to talk about it, now that he has a chance to do so and now that they're together.

Me: But on the other hand, these men are Pines and are so emotionally stunted as a result of everything about their upbringing, and they've been separated for the majority of forty years. I can also see them just...going on an adventure at sea and punching the nearest kraken they can find as a means of getting out any bad emotions without having to actually talk about them.

I assume those pages about Bill being his muse were ripped out; and will likely say as much in the fic #So Stan never saw them #I mean; Dipper could always tell him but look #Bill's just back out of nowhere; tensions are high; nobody is thinking as clearly as they should #The writer struggle of 'The solution to this is SO SIMPLE so how many of their bad decisions can I blame on stress/PTSD?' #Probably a lot #But there IS a limit

Hayley has been living in Modesto for as long as she can remember with her sister Sam. They both left Woodsboro when they turned 18, only her birthday is a month after Sam. She has been working at a music store to earn money to pay rent for the apartment she was living at with her sister while Sam worked at the bowling alley.  She doesn’t even remember where she and Stu met it just happened, yes the moment she heard his name Hayley knew who he was, same counted for him when he heard her name. And look at them now, it felt like they first didn’t really took it seriously. 

Hayley was at work as she had to close the store and she was alone, which wasn’t the first time and it wasn’t even that busy. All she did was being on her phone and be bored out of her mind. As she then started cleaning things up and making sure the store was looking okay before closing off. When she then heard the door open and then close. “We’re closed.” Scratching the back of her head.
