Once Prophet Mūsā (ʿalayhi s-salām) had extremely severe stomach pain. He humbly asked Allāh for relief and Allāh Subḥānahu wa-taʿālā ordered him to consume so-and-so herb from a jungle.
Prophet Mūsā (ʿalayhi s-salām) consumed the herb and was immediately cured of the pain.
After some days, the same disease reoccurred so he consumed the same herb again. Contrary to his expectation, his pain became even more severe.
Mūsā (ʿalayhi s-salām) humbly asked the Almighty, "O Allāh Subḥānahu wa-taʿālā! What is the secret behind this? One medicine has two entirely different effects! When I consumed it the first time, it cured me but when I consumed it the second time, it intensified my pain!"
Allāh replied, "O Mūsā! You used the herb the first time with My command, but the second time you used it of your own accord. O Mūsā! Know that cure is in My name. Without My name everything in the world is a deadly poison, and My name is its cure."

Film chronicles Islamic saint Hazrat Masumeh’s visit to Iran
Tumblr media
The feature film entitled “Okht-o-Reda” (“Reza’s Sister”) was made by Mojtaba Tabatabai, director of the acclaimed documentaries “Cloudy Sky” and “The Footsteps of Water”.
In 815 CE, Hazrat Masumeh (SA) and a large number of her relatives embarked on a journey from Medina to meet her brother, Imam Reza (AS), in Khorasan where the eighth Imam of the Shia had resided for years by order from Abbasid caliph Mamun.
Due to his hostility toward Shias, Mamun ordered his men to stop them in Saveh, a city near Qom, home to a large population of Shias.
Mamun’s soldiers killed a large number of the companions of Hazrat Masumeh (SA) in Saveh, where she was taken ill. Consequently, she decided to take refuge in Qom.
Shia Muslims in Qom gave Hazrat Masumeh (SA) and her companions a very warm welcome upon their arrival in the city. However, she was in critical condition and ultimately met her death on November 9, 816 CE, and was buried in Qom.
Earlier in the Fars region, Mamun had killed her brothers, Hazrat Ahmad ibn Musa (AS) and Seyyed Alaeddin Hossein (AS).
Due to the prohibition on the depiction of Islamic saints, the story in “Okht-o-Reda” has been portrayed through the eyes of three characters, Tabatabai, who is also a co-producer of the film, told the Persian service of MNA.
One of the characters is the person who carried out Mamun’s order to transfer Imam Reza (AS) to Khorasan. Hazrat Masumeh’s maid and one of her brothers are the other characters.
“We never created any distortion of the truth and avoided using our imagination in recounting the story; meanwhile, we did our best to dramatize the historical facts about this historical narrative,” Tabatabai said.
Most of the scenes have been filmed at the Nurtaban Cinema Town, the setting for several films on the history of Islam, including “Muhammad (S), the Messenger of God”, director Majid Majidi’s epic about the childhood of the Prophet of Islam (S).
The cast does not include any big-name stars.
Tabatabai plans to premiere “Okht-o-Reda” in Qom, the home of the shrine of Hazrat Masumeh (SA), this year on October 9 to mark the anniversary of her arrival in the city.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): The Assignment of the Duty of the Prophethood and First Muslims
Our Prophet starts to hear supernatural voices
When the Master of the Universe (PBUH) reached the age of thirty-eight, he started to hear some voices and some lights around. And sometimes he was called as, “O Muhammad!” from unseen.
Yet he was then still unable to understand what those strange voices and lights meant. However, he knew that such occurrences were not meaningless and not for nothing and spent days pondering over them.
From time to time, he told his venerable wife, Khadija, about them and often they two spoke about them. His wife, Khadija, the only source of comfort then, kept consoling him during their conversations.
This state of Muhammad (PBUH) continued for about one year.
True Dreams
At the age of 39, the period of “True Dreams” started. The events that were to happen the day after were being shown to him in his dreams in a way between wakefulness and sleep. It was so much so that the dreams he had in the night were taking place during the day as he had in his dream.
This state went on about six months, which can be considered a preparation period for receiving divine revelations.
He seeks loneliness
After this six-month period, the Master of the Universe’s holy spirit was searching for complete solitude. His greatest desire was to distance himself from the community and to remain alone with his thoughts… because his soul was getting discomforted by the indecency, cruelty, and gloom that was found in the society in which he lived.
He was made to love loneliness, He could abandon everything that he possessed but he would never abandon being alone with the universe and his realm of contemplation, away from people.
For that reason, he did not stay much in Mecca and was seen to choose desolate places that were far from people and to be consumed in contemplation in these places.
During these periods of solitude, he asked why the mountains, rocks, the earth, the sky, and the universe had been created, why people were sent to Earth, and what their aim and purpose was. The boulders of Mount Hira, the immense deserts, the sun, the moon, the shining stars, nor the passing clouds could answer his inquiries. He passed his days and nights in wonder since he could not find the answers to his questions.
Yes, the Master of the Universe’s holy spirit craved solitude in the outwardly sense whereas in reality, he carried the desire of being in the presence of Allah within the depths of his soul. This desire was to reach an endless existence within solitude.
This condition was seen in almost all of the prophets before they received revelations. Before his prophethood, Hazrat Musa spent 40 days fasting in solitude in the mountain of Tur. Similarly, Hazrat Isa was consumed in worship for forty days in a peaceful forest as he remained far from the world.
THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE IN HIRA
The year was 610 in the Gregorian calendar.
The Master of the Universe (pbuh) was forty years old.
He had a regular custom that he had been doing for years. He would spend the month of Ramadan with contemplation, worship, and prayer at the cave at the hill of the Mount of Hira.  It was quiet and serene in there. It was the best place for him to be left alone with his reflection. His blessed soul, which was bored with the corrupt atmosphere of the society he lived in, found tranquility and peace over there.
The Messenger of Allah did not worship randomly in the cave of Hira; he worshipped in accordance with the religion of Hanif, the religion of Ibrahim, his ancestor.
One day in the month of Ramadan, he went there again for worshipping and contemplation. He made his way to the mount of Hira with provisions that his wife Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) prepared for him.
The universe observed every step that its Master took with respect and stood in a deep silence. Yet, that stillness was not in vain. It was full of wisdom.
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) accompanied the stillness with his reflection, which thus brought about some harmony. It was as though the universe whispered to his great soul as saying, “The reason why I was created is you. It is you who will explain my meaning best and that I am full of wisdom and lessons. Therefore, I am grateful to you.”
The Master of the Universe (peace be upon him) was now in the cave at the hill of the Mount Hira, where he soon was to be worthy of having divine revelation. He was engaged with his worshipping and contemplation.

Biografia breve:
Il Santo Corano registra l'occultamento di vari profeti (as) come Hazrat Ibrahim (as)9, Hazrat Musa (as)10 e Hazrat Isa (as)11.

anyone who knows the story of Hazrat Musa/Moses (AS) protesting against Pharaoh while being outnumbered, having much less power in hand, knows that he (AS) won solely because he (AS) put his entire faith and being to Allah. may Allah split the Red Sea for Palestine and close it back for the oppressors, including but not limited to Isr/eli leaders and troops.

Imam Musa Kazims' message to His Shi'a!!
It's narrated by Hazrat Bahlul (r.a) when Imam Musa Kazim (AS) was in prison. Hazrat Wahab Ibn Umar (Bahlul Dana) came to visit there. Bahlol said to Imam Musa Kazim (as) O son of the Messenger of Allah(PBUH & H.P) I sacrifice my life to you. Tell me what brought you to this prison.?
Imam Musa Kazim (as) said! "The distance of our Shias from the Imam of his time brought me here." If my Shias had my need (desire) and marifah, I would not be here! But now I like this imprisonment better than my Shias.
Bahlul asked on this. Why are you saying this Moula! Imam Musa Kazim (as) said with tears! O Ibn Umar, it seems as if my Shias do not need the Imam of their time (AS). They do not long for me, they do not search for me, they do not seek release from prison for me.
Then Imam Musa Kazim (AS) shook his shoulders and said while crying!
O son of Umar, how long will I remain in this prison? On this, Bahlul also started crying along with the Imam (AS) and folded his hands and said, "You are the proof of God(Hujat ul Allah), Moula, you know better." On this, Imam Musa Kazim (AS) said! O son of Umar, would you do one thing for me?
Bahlul said Yas immediately. Then Imam Musa Kazim (as) said! "Convey my message to my Shias that Do not let the Imam (AS) of your time remain in prison like this. The Imam of your time wants to live with you. But because of your own actions, the Imam of your time (AS) has to remain in prison."
O Ibn Umar, convey my greetings to my Shias.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH)’s BIOGRAPHY : The Emergence of Fake Prophets
After the Farewell Hajj of the Prophet, the Muslims that came from the places outside Madinah returned to their homeland. They conveyed the messages and teachings of the Prophet to their people.
The third verse of the chapter of al-Maida sent down during the Farewell Hajj stated that the religion had become perfect. This also indicated that the death of the Messenger of Allah was near. Some Muslims felt it. The fact that the Prophet became ill after the Farewell Hajj strengthened this feeling.
Meanwhile, some Arabs claimed to be prophets.
The first one of them was Abhala b. Ka’b, who was known as Aswad al-Ansi, from the tribe of Sons of Ans. He was a soothsayer and magician; he affected people very easily with his words.[ Tabari, Tarikh, Vol. 3, p. 189, 218. ]
This man, who appeared in Yemen, claimed that he was a prophet and that angels brought revelation to him. He deceived many people of Yemen with lies and tricks. The people of Najran followed him. Then, he went to San’a and invaded San’a; thus, he expanded his rule of mischief.
The Muslim governors and officials who were in Yemen had to leave Yemen. Muadh b. Jabal went to Abu Musa al-Ash’ari, who was in Ma’rib. Then, they went to Hadramut together.
The Messenger of Allah was informed about the situation. He sent this message to the Muslims in Yemen: “Eliminate Abhalaone way or another.”[ Tabari, ibid, Vol. 3, p. 215. ]
Upon this order, the Muslims in Yemen took action and killed him in his house. The news that Aswad was killed reached the Prophet on Sunday, one day before his death. After Aswad, the liar was killed, the Muslim governors and officials returned to Yemen.
MUSAYLIMA AL-KADHDHAB CLAIMS TO BE A PROPHET
In the 10th year of the Migration, Musaylima al-Kadhdhab (the Liar) claimed to be a prophet in Yamama.
Musaylima had come to Madinah with the representatives of Sons of Hanifa and had become a Muslim by talking to the Prophet. When he returned to Yamama, he exited Islam.[ Ibn Hisham, Sirah, Vol. 4, p. 223; Tabari, ibid, Vol. 3, p. 162. ]
After his conversion from Islam, Musaylima started to claim and propagate that he was a partner of the Prophet. Thanks to his witchcraft, he deceived many people from the people of Sons of Hanif and Yamama; they gathered around him. Once, he dared to imitate the Quran. He made up some ridiculous words and recited them as if they were from the Quran. Some of the sentences that he made up were as follows:
“The elephant, what is the elephant, and who shall tell you what is the elephant? It has a poor tail, and a long trunk; and is a trifling part of the creations of thy God!”
Another passage that ridiculed Musaylima was as follows:
“Croak, frog, as thou wilt: part of thee in the water and part in the mud; thou hinderst not the drinker, nor dost thou befoul the stream! Wait on the ground until the rat brings you the news of death.”[ Ibn Sa’d, Tabaqat, Vol. 5, p. 551; Tabari, ibid, Vol. 2, p. 254. ]
The Prophet sent a message to the Muslims around Najd and told them to eliminate Musaylima al-Kadhdhab.
After the death of the Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Abu Bakr sent an army under the command of Khalid b. Walid to attack Musaylima. Wahshi b. Harb killed him with the same spear that he had martyred  Hazrat Hamza.

THE POWER OF MODESTY
The wife of the Azeez was not able to win over Hazrat Yousuf عليه السلام through her acts of seduction, whereas the girl of Madyan modestly won over Hazrat Musa عليه السلام through her Hayaa.
Real men are not deluded by the falseness of transient beauty but are attracted to the substance of good character.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad: The Battle of Uhud and Afterwards
The Expedition of Sons of Nadr: Part 3
THE EXPEDITION OF DHAT AR-RIQA
(4th Year of the Migration, the month of Jumadalawwal / 625)
It was two months after the expulsion of Sons of Nadr Jews from Madinah.
It was heard in Madinah that the tribes of Anmar and Sons of Salaba gathered in order to fight Muslims.
The Prophet immediately made preparations and left Madinah with four hundred (or seven hundred) mujahids. He proceeded to the place called Dhat ar-Riqa and set up the headquarters there.
The polytheists could not face fighting the mujahids; so, they went up to the mountain. There was only a woman left; she was held captive.
The Messenger of God waited there for a while. When the time for noon prayer started, they performed the noon prayer in the form of salat al-khawf (prayer of fear). How to perform salat al-khawf is described in verses 101-102 of the chapter of an-Nisa.
The fact that the Messenger of God performed prayers in congregation even in the most dangerous moments shows us how important it is to perform prayers in congregation and that it must not be ignored.
A Miracle
It was during the expedition of Dhat ar-Riqa.
Ulba b. Zayd, a Companion, found three ostrich eggs and brought them to the Prophet.
The Messenger of God said, “O Jabir; cook them.”
Hazrat  Jabir cooked the eggs in a bowl and brought them.
The Prophet and the mujahids ate from that bowl until they were full but they saw that the eggs remained the same in the bowl.
Mercy of God upon Believers
It was during the same expedition.
One of the Companions found a young bird. The bird’s mother or father darted into the hands of the Companion who was holding the young bird as if it was sacrificing itself. The Companions were amazed by the acts of the bird. The Messenger of God said to them:
“Are you amazed and surprise by the act of the bird to save its young? By God, the mercy and compassion of your Lord toward you is more than the mercy and compassion of this bird toward its young!”
The Complaint of the Camel
The Prophet had left Dhat ar-Riqa together with the mujahids and was heading toward Madinah. When they arrived at a place called Harra, they saw that a camel ran toward the Prophet and sat before him with respect; it moved its neck forward and talked to the Prophet.
While the mujahids were looking at them in astonishment, the Prophet said, “Do you know what this camel says? He is complaining about the oppression of its owner. It says its owner made it work for many years and now he wants to slaughter it.” Then, the Prophet told Jabir b. Abdullah to bring the owner of the camel.
When Jabir said, “O Messenger of God! I do not know the owner of the camel”, the Messenger of God said,
“The camel will take you to its owner!”
Indeed, the Prophet took Jabir to its owner as if it was ordered by the Prophet.
Hazrat Jabir said,
“I took the owner of the camel to the Prophet. The Messenger of God talked to him about the camel and said, ‘Is what the camel said true?’ The owner of the camel said, ‘Yes, o Messenger of God!…’.”
The Name of the Expedition
It is stated in the resources that all of the people that took part in this expedition were infantry, that their bare feet were torn by stones and thorns, that their nails fell off and that they wrapped their feet with pieces of cloth; therefore it was given the name Dhat ar-Riqa. Riqa is the plural of “ruqa”, which means a piece of cloth sewn on a garment to cover the torn part; that is, patch.
Abu Musa al-Ash’ari says the following regarding the issue:
“We went on an expedition with the Messenger of God (pbuh). We had only one camel. We rode the camel in turns. Our feet had been pierced. Both of my feet had been pierced and my nails had fallen off. Therefore, we wrapped our feet with pieces of cloth. That expedition was called Dhat ar-Riqa since we wrapped our feet with pieces of cloth.
God’s Messenger’s Miracle of Abundance
Abdullah b. Amr b. Haram, the father of Hazrat Jabir, from the Ansar, had been martyred in Uhud. He had six daughters and a lot of debt.
His creditors were Jews.
Abdullah b. Amr had two orchards with various palm trees with dates; however, their crops were not enough to pay his debt. He owed forty loads of camels of dates to only one Jew.
When the season of dates started, the Jews started to ask for their money and urge him. Hazrat Jabir offered to give them the whole yield of his dates but they did not accept it.
Thereupon, Jabir went to the presence of the Messenger of God and said, “O Messenger of God! You know that my father was martyred on the day of Uhud. He had a lot of debt. I offered to give the whole yield of my dates to his creditors but they did not accept it.” He asked the Messenger of God to help him.
The Messenger of God talked to the creditors of Abdullah b. Amr b. Haram and offered them to give the whole yield of his date groves in return for his debt by they did not accept it. The creditors did not accept the following offer the Messenger of God, either: “Accept some of the debt this year and the rest next year.”
Thereupon, the Prophet said to Jabir, “Go now; I will come to you tomorrow before noon.”
The next day, the Prophet went to the date grove of Jabir together with Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar. He said to Jabir, “Go and collect your dates. Gather the good ones in one group and the rest in another group. Then, inform me about it!”
Hazrat Jabir fulfilled the order and went to the Messenger of God to inform him. Hazrat Jabir summoned his creditors, too. When they saw the Prophet, they repeated their demands.
The Messenger of God walked round the biggest dates pile three times and prayed; then, he said to Jabir, “Bring your creditors next to me.”
The creditors came. They were given dates from the dates piles in return for their credits. All of the debt was paid.
Hazrat Jabir narrated what he had seen as follows:
“I had only wished God to pay my debt; I would be pleased to go to my sisters with only a single date after my debt was paid. However, the Messenger of God gave lots of dates to my creditors but not even one date decreased!”[26]
The Jewish creditors were astonished by what they had seen.
It was an obvious miracle of the Messenger of God!
THE EXPEDITION OF BADR AL-MAW’ID
(4th Year of the Migration, the month of Shaban / 625)
As it had been mentioned before, While Abu Sufyan was returning from Uhud, he said to Muslims, “Let us meet you in Badr next year.” Hazrat Umar had said, acting upon the order of the Messenger of God, “All right! I hope it will be the place of fighting between you and us.”
One year had passed after the Battle of Uhud.
The Messenger of God started to make preparations in order to keep his promise.
On the other hand, Abu Sufyan, the leader of the Qurayshis, was continuing his preparations for the war. However, there was a big drought and famine in Makkah that year. Therefore, Abu Sufyan did not intend to fight that year though he encouraged people to do so.
The Tactic Employed by Abu Sufyan
Abu Sufyan, who wanted to give up the decision of going to Badr, wanted to prevent the Prophet and Muslims from going there; he was looking for ways of doing it.
He met Nuaym b. Mas’ud, who had not been a Muslim yet, in Makkah. Nuaym had come to Makkah for umrah.
Abu Sufyan said, “O Nuaym! I had promised Muhammad and his friend to fight in Badr. Now, the time for the fight has arrived. However, there is drought and famine in Makkah now. It is not appropriate for us to fight now. Therefore, we do not want to fight Muhammad this year. If we confront him, it will increase his courage.” Thus, he expressed his intention and worry; and he made Nuaym the following offer:
“Return to Madinah at once! Tell them that I have gathered a force that cannot be resisted; dissuade them from fighting against us in Badr! If you do it, we will give you seventy grown-up camels.”
Nuaym returned to Madinah at once. He started an intense propaganda in favor of the polytheists in order to obtain the prize. He kept on saying that the Qurayshis had gathered an army that cannot be resisted. When the munafiqs also supported him, the Muslims started to lax. Jews and munafiqs were delighted by the situation. They showed their joy insolently by saying,   “Muhammad cannot make anybody fight against the polytheists!”
The Final Decision of the Prophet
Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar informed the Prophet about the situation at once.
The decision of the Messenger of God was definite. He said, “I swear by God in whose powerful hand is my existence that I will go to Badr alone if nobody from Madinah comes with me!”
Those resolute and courageous words struck like lightning in the heart of the Muslims and eliminated the fear and hesitation in their hearts by the permission of God at once.
The Messenger of God appointed Abdullah b. Rawaha as his deputy and left Madinah with one thousand and five hundred mujahids. Hazrat Ali was the standard-bearer. There were only ten cavalrymen in the army.
Mujahids also had their merchandise with them because there was a fair in the place where they were heading toward every year. The expedition coincided with the fair. If the enemy came, they would fight. If they did not come, they would do business.
The Prophet arrived in Badr with his army and started to wait. However, the enemy forces did not appear.
The army of the polytheists commanded by Abu Sufyan had two thousand soldiers; they made preparations and left Makkah but they were able to reach a place called Majinnah only. They did not have the courage to move one step further; although they outnumbered the Muslim army, they could not dare to fight Muslims. Consequently, they returned to Makkah.
The Messenger of God stayed in Badr for eight nights.
The Arab tribes that came to visit the fair saw that the Muslims maintained their power and that they did not lose their courage and hope. The Qurayshis lost their prestige in the eye of other Arab tribes.
When the mujahids saw that the enemy would not appear, they bought and sold things, making a lot of profit.
After staying there for eight nights, the Prophet returned to Madinah with the mujahids happily and joyfully.
This expedition was also called the Minor Badr.

Biografia breve:
Il Santo Corano registra l'occultamento di vari profeti (as) come Hazrat Ibrahim (as)9, Hazrat Musa (as)10 e Hazrat Isa (as)11.
