some thoughts regarding the latest bnha ep
Okay first of all I find studio bones’ dedication to objectifying Dabi to be hilarious
Someone really looked at that panel of him lying on the couch and went ‘make him sluttier!!’
Small waist, lower set pants so we can see his v-lines, they are really gunning for that fan service quota
Okay moving on to my actual serious thoughts now:
So this ep confirmed a long-time theory for me, one that I’ve had since probably before these og chapters were even dropped, and I’ve slowly been getting more sure about
It seems, to me at least, that Natsuo’s conception was coerced, and that Shouto’s was the result of rape
Like, we know that Rei consented to having Touya and Fuyumi
Whether or not she wanted Touya is up for debate, but she at least presumably consented to having a child as part of the quirk marriage agreement
And in Fuyumi’s case it’s literally canon that Rei wanted another kid and thought it’d be good for Touya to have a sibling
Obviously there’s massive ethical concerns and questions of consent raised by the whole arranged/paid marriage situation, but in and of themselves, those two pregnancies don’t appear to have been opposed by Rei
In the case of Natsuo, Rei initially refused to have more kids, since she knew that Touya knew that Enji was only producing babies in hopes of them having the perfect quirk to surpass All Might, and she rightfully assumed that having more kids would fuck with his metal health and make him feel even more unwanted/worthless
But Eni basically convinced/coerced her with ‘oh but if we get a kid with the right quirk that’ll finally convince Touya to give up on being a hero and hurting himself in his attempts to become one’
So it's possible that she did technically give her consent in that situation, but it was given under duress and she was coerced into it with the wellbeing of one of her other children as a bargaining chip
As for Shouto’s conception,in both the manga and anime we see Enji pissed off/distraught after presumably learning about Natsuo’s quirk or lack of one, (you can pry the quirkless Natsuo hc from my cold dead hands), a shot of Rei’s face looking terrified, and then an immediate cut to her holding baby Shouto looking both relieved and exhausted
I mean it is possible that Shouto’s conception was coerced like Natsuo’s, but the whole framing of the sequence really makes it feel like Enji got worse with each subsequent kid, his abhorrentness reaching its peak with Shouto
Yeah so the implication there is… dark as all hell
But also narratively fascinating to me,
Like Shouto literally canonically barely regards his own abuse, he hates Endeavor because of what he did to his Mom (and his siblings)
There's definitely some resentment there over how he was isolated as a kid, and literally a product of selective breeding, but the bulk of Shouto’s feelings towards Endeavor, at least pre-sports festival, definitely read more as ‘I hate you for abusing Mom’ rather than ‘I hate you for abusing me’
(this is because Todoroki Shouto is an incredibly, incredibly kind person who puts the pain of his loved ones above his own, and who feels/hurts so much more for others that himself and augh he's such a sweetheart I love him sm but I need him to gain some self esteem right this instant)
Like, we know canonically that he blames Endeavor (and not Rei at all) for the burn on his face, but he also seems to carry some guilt over it himself?? As if it’s somehow his fault he happens to resemble his Father a bit??
We know he at least felt bad enough about being similar to his Dad (again, something that he has no control over) to not use his fire in combat for roughly 10 years
So the thought of Shouto, who was already well aware that his birth was both the result of a paid marriage that his Mother likely got very little say in, and a literal eugenics experiment by his Dad with the sole goal of producing and shaping a child into the perfect pawn to surpass All Might, also learning that his conception was the result of sexual assault/coercion??
The angst potential there is unlimited and totally fascinating
Obviously a shounen manga aimed at, like, 12 year olds isnt gonna get into topics that deep past making some vague, dark, implications, but it's all food for thought nonetheless
Speaking of dark as hell implications:
I don’t know if it was already there in the manga and I just missed it like a dumbass or if Horikoshi added it in after the fact when he was consulted for this season’s production
But the implication that Shouto awoke his quirk as a baby specifically as a result of Touya lashing out and attacking him???
That shit had me reeling
Like augh the fucking tragic irony of Touya, desperate to just be paid attention to by his father, being the one to inadvertently bring out Shouto’s quirk, the very thing that made his dad fully give up on him
And of course, of course, Shoto would awaken his quirk in self defence from a family member attacking him, of course a character who’s whole theme is family and abusive/dysfunctional dynamics, and origin, would have his power awoken in that way
It also, just, adds a whole ‘nother layer to the whole chapter 39 ‘it’s your power isn't it?!’ / chapter 352 ‘Yes, this is my power’ parallel
(Todoroki Shouto is the character of all time I love him with every bit of myself I swear)
Okay quickfire round because I still have lots more thoughts about the Todoroki family:
It was already upsetting enough in manga but the scene of Endeavor yelling at Rei and slapping her as Shouto screams and cries and tells him ‘not to bully Mommy’?? Literally had me physically flinching
I will never be anything but and Endeavor hater okay I don’t give a shit about his redemption arc I need that bitch dead
Can’t wait for the ‘Dabi is a misogynist’ discourse to once again get reignited
Obviously his attitude towards Rei and Fuyumi isn’t okay, but Touya was a child abuse victim lacking in the maturity to see that his Mother and Fuyumi were just as much victims as he was
And to be fair, whilst Rei certainly was also just as much a victim, and didn’t have any power in the situation of her marriage, I do feel that Touya’s resentment towards her, as a child who believes that its his Mom’s job to look after him, is a bit warranted, not necessarily right, but warranted
Speaking of bad faith discourse regarding Touya’s actions, if I see one more ‘him attacking baby Shouto makes him just as bad as Endeavor’ type take I’m melting my fucking phone
How are you gonna look at a 13 year old, self harming, victim of child abuse, with such a warped sense of self worth that he is literally desperate for even a hint of his abuser’s attention/approval, lashing out in jealousy at the sibling who has replaced him and made him, in his Father’s eyes, a worthless failed experiment, and go ‘oh he’s just as bad as the grown man who made the active decision to beat his wife and kids???
The lack of reading comprehension in the bnha fandom is unreal but especially regarding the Todoroki’s
In a similar vein I literally cannot deal with people who victim blame Rei, or Fuyumi and Natsuo, for not ‘getting Shouto out of that situation’ or ‘being complacent in his abuse even as adults’
Like ohhhh my godddd literally all of them were victims in an extremely unbalanced power dynamic, that's the whole point
Please go back to middle school English class since obviously you all were too busy doodling eyes to pay any attention
also I hate that Hawks, of all people, has more sympathy for an abuser that his victims
‘Even if what Dabi said about the Todoroki family was true, I’m sure things are different now’
Sir literally what reason do you have to believe that??
Hero worships rots your fucking brain I guess
Ok finally I have some thoughts about that lil preview we got of the vestiges:
I hate Shinomori’s colour pallate so fucking much I hate I hate it I hate it
I always imagined him with white/lavender hair, and silver eyes, and a purple hero costume with purple scars on his face from quirk overuse/incompatibility like Nine from Heroes: Rising
I hate the blonde hair I hate the green costume it's all so so ugly I hate it all
HOWEVER
Since he was first introduced I have pictured the 2nd user with pink/coral hair, AND I WAS FUCKING RIGHT
The wave of smug vindication I felt upon seeing that his hair colour was practically identical to what I’d imagined him with was unreal
I’m not too sure how I feel about the 3rd user with light blue hair?? I always imagined it as light brown or dirty blonde
I think what colour his eyes are and how they animate Fa Jin is really gonna decide for me whether I like it or not
I pictured En’s costume as dark blue denim (kinda like Jeanist) and whilst the red isn’t bad, the opposite actually, I kinda miss that mental image
Vestige Might should be glowing and flickering like a fire, not just a collection of gold swirls, do him justice!!!
Okay I'm done

Thoughts on Episode 124 (S6 E11)
Reeling reveals, devilish dancing, and brutal broadcasts. Let’s talk about it
HUGE spoilers for the episode but nothing for the manga. That said, it is wild that the contents of this episode are no longer considered a spoiler
Oh boy these Dabis sure do be dancing
I am going absolutely feral this episode was so good!
However I will do my best to stay composed
I gotta start with a nitpick just to get it off my chest. Way back in episode 1 of this season, they added a frame when Twice talks about the League that showed Dabi sitting in a chair. Many people (myself included) assumed this was a reference to his video, but the chairs were different colours (ep 1 it was blue, now it is red)?! WHAT?! WHY?! I know it’s random but it just bugs me. This season has been really good with keeping little details straight and then they do something like this. Given the fact that Dabi was wearing clothes in that scene, it is now my hc that he filmed multiple versions of this and picked the one that felt the most dramatic (must have decided that shirtless with a red chair was the way to go lol)
And I need to reiterate: that is absolutely a nitpick that in no way takes away from the rest of the episode. I just found it odd that they went through the trouble of adding such a scene to episode 1, but didn't keep it consistent
Ok anyways as for the episode itself
ueah this good
Brain happy
The first, Dabi-less half is honestly wonderful, which surprised me that they put so much effort into it
Ochako and Toga both looked gorgeous, and the tension between the two was done lovely
Then the episode switched to Endeavor and like one insanely smooth shot and this episode went from a 10 to a 10 billion
However, I’ll admit it, I kind of didn’t like the rearrangement regarding the broadcast. I loved how the manga had a little hint in the Toga section of tvs losing their signal, then the chapter starts with Rei, goes to the battlefield, and then cuts back to the broadcast
The bit with Toga made it all feel connected, like it’s happening at the same time, but it’s fine that it’s gone
I’m more disappointed by the rearrangement with Rei. It gave it a bit of build up that the anime adaptation now lacks, and honestly I was a bit taken aback by how sudden the moment popped up
I mean I guess props for showing how Endeavor must have felt lol
Upon a rewatch it doesn’t bother me nearly as much, but still. It’s probably just because I’m so used to the manga at this point
That being said, the second the monologue started all my complaints totally melted away
The voice acting! The animation! The DANCING! They really made him clap and spin around and I LOVE IT
TINY BABY TOUYA
and on that note TINY BABY FUYUMI
Any and all nitpicks I made previously are now null and void because of that scene of Fuyumi with a flower and Touya clinging to Enji’s arm
Oh man I love this episode
Also! Confirmation that the Sekoto fire was red! I’m glad they kept it, because many people were pointing out that that was likely the main reason Enji didn’t suspect Dabi
Im curious to see how they handle the soccer flashback when we eventually get there (mostly regarding hair colour lol. I want to know if they are going to give an explanation why it was red, or if they’d gonna colour it white and pretend they didn’t mess up haha)
I don’t know how I felt about Best Jeanist starting and ending it. I knew it was coming because I read the manga and had a feeling they’d sandwich the episode like this, but it almost felt like it was taking away from Dabi’s big moment
Which ha! I guess he technically was!
Still, it reminds me of the upcoming arc, which I am reluctant to think about
I don’t know what else they could have done, I just wanted Dabi to have a moment I guess (and I also wanted to forget how many cliffhangers the upcoming arc has lol)
Ooooohhhh and the ed hurt. I had a feeling they’d do a young and old Touya thing, but MAN did they do it well. Everything about it. The bright yellows to the cold blues, the big smile to the scream, oh my gosh
Anyways, overall 10/10. If you think this review sounds nitpicky it’s because there’s only so many ways I can express my absolute joy, yet it takes time to explain my grievances (however slight they may be)
I’m away for family stuff this week but you can bet that if I weren’t I would be watching this episode on constant repeat
Guess that will have to wait for next week lol

Dunno  if  I  noted  it  in  a  HC  post  or  anything  before  but  since  I  forget  shit  and  can't  remember  I  wanna  say  when  it  comes  to  Toya,  as  I  think  is  implied  with  all  the  Todoroki's,  his  quirk  was  obvious  and  active  since  he  was  an  infant.  He  was  around  2-3  when  he  began  "consciously"  using  his  quirk. He  spent  a  lot  of  time  with  his  dad  -  I  think  I  have  mentioned  before  Toya  was  100%  Daddy's  boy,  like  no  doubt,  but  honestly  having  a  toddler  that  could  make  flames  wasn't  problem  for  either  Rei  or  Enji  given  Enji's  high  flame  resistance  and  Rei's  ability  to  use  her  frost  quirk  to  naturalize  fire.  Toya's  quirk  didn't  always  burn  him,  either.  It  didn't  start  burning  him  till  he  was  around  5.  This  is  also  when  Toya's  hair  started  changing  colour.
The  two  events  are  directly  linked  imo.  By  the  time  Toya  was  5   he  had  already  been  "trained"  a  little  bit  by  his  dad  so  he  could  control  his  flames  and  increase  their  heat/output.  Small  things  like  that.  His  dad  was  also  starting  to  each  him  "moves"  at  this  point  and  Toya  wanted  nothing  more  than  to  learn  them. But  when  he  burnt  himself  for  the  first  time  things  quickly  changed. Toya  didn't  really  understand  anything  going  on  because  he  was  only  a  baby.  He  did,  however,  start  to  realize  that  "changes"  in  his  family  were  related  to  his  quirk  and  the  changes  in  his  quirk  were  related  to  his  hair.
And  I'm  thinking  about  Enji  asking  baby  Toya  if  he  got  dye  in  his  hair  after  a  white  strand  popped  up  and  Toya  saying  he'd  never  do  something  like  that  because  at  the  time  he  had  a  head  of  deep  red  hair,  just  like  his  dad,  he  had  a  fire  quirk  just  like  his  dad,  his  dad  looked  at  him  with  pride  and  hope,  he  was  an  innocent  baby  who  had  no  reason  to  ever  want  to  change  himself,  all  he  knew  was  he  was  happy  and  proud  too  and  then  his  hair  changed,  and  the  more  it  changed  the  worse  thing  got,  the  less  it  seemed  Enji  wanted  to  do  with  him  the  more  it  seemed  his  family  struggled  and  now  we  have  adult  Toya  who  hates  himself  and  dyes  his  hair  often,  because  he  really  can't  stand  it  white,  its  full  of  bad  memories  and  bad  feelings,  but  he  doesn't  dye  it  red,  he  dyes  it  black  instead,  a  way  to  completely  disassociate  from  this  pain,  to  change  himself,  even  destroy  himself  and  give  himself  the  vague  sense  of  "control"  he  couldn't  have  as  a  child.
Like,  this  is  the  reason  for  Dabi's  black  hair,  imo.  It  actually  doesn't  have  anything  to  do  with  him  trying  to  disguise  his  true  identity  or  anything,  thats  never  been  the  intention  as  far  as  Toya  dying  his  hair  goes.  So  yeah,  needless  to  say  he  likes  his  hair  black.  If  he's  walking  around  with  his  white  hair  be  concerned !  Its  a  bad  sign !

i can take you there but baby you won’t make it back
character: dabi | todoroki touya
notes: stepcest (kind of—ur parents aren’t married yet) with dabi-as-touya x a very naïve and inexperienced reader, normal!AU (no quirks, dabi also has tattoos over his scarred + fully healed skin), university!reader, implied yakuza!dabi, excessive use of the words niichan and good, praise kink, fingering, face fucking, title credit = save that shit by lil peep lmao  uhhhh yeah i hc dabi as a very intelligent and perceptive individual soooo i feel like he’d be a master at reading a person & their emotions and then adapting his manipulation techniques
warnings: 18+, pseudo-incest (stepcest), noncon/dubcon, slight somnophilia, emotional manipulation, toxic relationship, size difference, slight degradation, mentions of drug use
words: 7.1k
part 2.1 | part 2.2
synopsis:
“You want to be good for me, don’t you, sweetheart?”
“Of course,” you respond instantly. Later, when you lay awake in your bed, you’ll feel ashamed by your actions, by how readily captivated you were with him, by how easily he was able to manipulate you with those sapphire eyes and that rough voice—
But in that moment, you’ll do anything to pull that little smile from him, anything to hear him tell you you’re good. You just want to be good.
Something dark and primal flashes in those gorgeous eyes as they gaze down at you, a small grin spreading across his face. “Of course,” he repeats softly.
        ✰          ✰          ✰          ✰          ✰          ✰          ✰
Your dad’s been dating Rei for a while—nearly a year, now—when things begin to get serious, and he proposes to her.
She accepts, so it’s not exactly a surprise when she suggests you guys move in with her—she’s got more than enough space, she tells you, it’s just her and her son in that big old house—and your dad seems pretty thrilled about it. This was the next step before marriage, after all.
You like Rei well enough, she’s always been nothing but sweet to you, and anyway, your father’s relationship really isn’t any of your business or concern.
It isn’t that you don’t want to move in with her—her house is in a better part of the neighborhood, a standard detached upper-middle class home, and just a short walk from a bus stop that’ll take you directly to university, which you start in a week.
It’s just…You’re a little apprehensive.
You know she has kids. She mentions them in passing every once in a while, but you can’t for the life of you remember their names, or their ages, or how many of them there are. You know they don’t all live with her, that her relationship with her ex-husband is complicated and rocky at best.
But you’re still surprised to hear that only one of them, her eldest, lives with her. She tells you he’s five years older than you are, that he’s a clever, smart boy, going off on a tangent about how disappointed she is that he didn’t go to university, because ‘he would’ve done so well—he could’ve shone so brightly.’ Something about the way she says that, the way her voice sounds almost sad, makes anxiety turn to lead in your stomach. She talks about him as if he’s already a lost cause, but he’s only in his mid-twenties, isn’t he?
You understand the moment you see him. The man standing in front of you as you shift from foot to foot unsurely in the foyer of this unfamiliar house is about as far from what you anticipated as he could possibly be.
He’s tall, skin pale as moonlight, with jet black hair and the most stunning blue eyes you’ve ever seen. But that isn’t what captivates you. It isn’t the lip ring curled around his bottom lip snuggly, and it isn’t the tongue piercing you’re about to find out he’s hiding in his mouth, either.
Every inch of the exposed skin of his arms is covered in intricate, seamlessly flowing tattoos—or, for a moment, you thought it was tattoos, plural. Upon closer inspection, you realize that each arm is actually covered in one giant tattoo, giving a new definition to the term ‘sleeve’. It’s all black ink, not a splash of colour anywhere, depicting an extremely detailed and anatomically correct mechanical arm, complete with what would’ve been joints, ligaments and bones in the form of wires and steel.
The tattoos extend onto the tops of his hands, made to look as if surgical staples are peeling his skin back to reveal the robot beneath. This same tattoo continues up his neck, along his jaw and onto his cheeks, all the way to his bottom lip, spreading across his entire face and disappearing into his hairline and onto his ears. Finally, there’s a small portion of the tattoo underneath his eyes, the surgical staples lining the edges of the face tattoos, too.
It startles you—you’re not necessarily scared, you just…weren’t expecting that. But there’s no denying the rush of breath that involuntarily escapes your lips as your eyes search his face, raking over his body in a brazen way that should make you feel shameful, travelling back up to find him smirking smugly at you, raising an eyebrow as your eyes meet again.
The look in his eyes tells you he knows, knows what you’re thinking about, knows how undeniably attracted you are to him, and scalding heat floods your cheeks.
He chuckles a little, which does nothing but add insult to injury, and sharp anger slices through your chest at the way that you stomach absolutely drops at his gravelly voice. You can’t believe yourself, can’t believe your body is reacting and responding so readily to this man—this stranger.
He introduces himself as Touya, in that rough, deep voice that forces a jolt of electricity to run through your veins. You idly wonder what your name would sound like on his tongue, how it might sound if his voice dropped to a growl, find yourself stuck thinking about this for the rest of the night.
✰          ✰          ✰
To your disappointment, and as much as you are unabashedly interested in him, you don’t interact much with Touya for your first few weeks in the house—in fact, you barely see him at all.
This only piques your curiosity about him more, finding that you’re unable to tear your eyes from him on the rare occasion that you are in a room together. He catches you staring every single time, and he has the audacity to chuckle to himself and shake his head when his gaze meets yours, your eyes quickly darting away and cheeks burning at his laugh.
You begin gathering little tidbits of information about him, purely sourced from interactions you witness in the house, desperately praying for something that’ll give you an opportunity to start a conversation with him.
Your efforts prove fruitless when, almost a month and a half since you moved in, you’ve still only spoken a handful of words to him. You do learn a bit about him through observing, though.
You discover that he’s a smoker, which really doesn’t come as a shock at all. Marlboro’s are his favourite, and he’s always got a pack in his back pocket or rolled up in the short sleeve of his t-shirt. He must have them imported—Marlboro’s are incredibly rare to find all the way in Japan.
Touya must have a lot of things imported.
You find out that every other Thursday, Touya discreetly stuffs an absurdly large wad of cash—all composed of ten-thousand-yen bills—into his mom’s hands, forcing her fingers to curl around it. She fights him on it, every time, but he’s firm and adamant that she take it. It always ends with Rei giving him a small, watery smile, Touya pressing a kiss against the side of her head and murmuring that he loves her.
After you witness this interaction for the first time, you begin to notice that, while the house looks relatively normal on the outside, it is stuffed full of luxury on the inside. Flat-screen TVs each complete with full entertainment systems, state of the art appliances that are somehow up to date with all of the latest trends (including a smart fridge—absolutely ridiculous), custom made furniture, ornate rugs, a housekeeper that drops by every Sunday…
You have no idea what he does for work, but you think you’ve got at least some sort of idea when you catch him one night, just past 2AM, exiting his room and using a thumb to brush excess white powder off his nose. His eyes catch yours, pupils blown and shining in the low light, and he smiles darkly at you, winking once as he walks away.
You don’t ask—no one ever does.
You don’t ask about the crimson splattered on the toe of his boot, or why he sometimes smells metallic, like copper, the strong scent wafting after him and invading the halls as he stalks leisurely toward the bathroom. You don’t ask why he leaves the house at odd hours in the night, and you definitely don’t ask about the soft clinking and clicking you hear through the thin walls every so often while he cleans his gun at 3AM.
You’re not sure if it’s really any of your business, anyway. So you stay quiet, and continue to wait.
The opportunity finally comes one Wednesday in October, two weeks before Halloween, when you’re in the kitchen after school busy fixing yourself an afternoon snack. Touya comes home uncharacteristically early—you rarely see him before 10PM, so his entrance scares you, and you jump a little.
“Sorry,” he murmurs as he passes by behind you, just an inch too close, just enough so you can feel his body heat radiating off of him.
“It’s fine,” you say quietly, shaking your head a little and trying in vain to stop your hands from trembling as you spread peanut butter across a piece of bread.
You can feel his eyes on you, and it makes you nervous, makes your skin crawl in a way you’ve never felt before. He laughs a little at your struggling, leaning against the counter next to you and crossing his arms over his chest.
“You don’t have to be so nervous around me, y’know,” he says with a smirk, eyes glittering at the way your lips part in surprise, your breath stuttering a little. “I’m your niichan after all, aren’t I?”
You hadn’t even considered using the honorific until he himself uses it.
Your hands freeze, hovering over your plate, and you look over at him slowly. “You…Want me to call you that?”
“You can, if you’d like,” he says smoothly, nonchalantly, like he doesn’t have a care in the world. It makes no difference to him, he tells you, but when he finally looks back at you, you think you can see it in his eyes—a sharp, small glimmer of…of something. Something that makes your stomach twist in a way you can’t decide if you like or not.
But this is it, you think, this is your opening to finally begin talking to him.
So you do. And the smirk he gives you the first time you address him by the honorific, voice quivering slightly as you ask him where Rei normally keeps the blender, is nothing short of predatory.
“It’s on the top shelf. It’s too high for you, though,” he says, voice so sickly sweet it almost sounds mocking. “Let niichan get it for you,”
It isn’t, but you let him get it for you anyway.
And he knows—knows he’s got you the moment you gasp at the honorific leaving his lips, trying to hide it behind your hand, nodding quickly and squeaking out a thank you.
It starts after that. He begins playing with you; a sick, perverse game of cat and mouse, hunter and hunted, and you play your part perfectly.
You’d be lying if you said you didn’t love it, if you said it didn’t send wicked sparks of excitement shooting up your spine and an intense fluttering in your stomach.
And it starts slow. It starts with gentle pet names—honey, sweetheart, princess—and fingertips trailing down your arm as he passes you. It starts with a large hand placed on the small of your back, guiding you—out of the house and into his car, out of the kitchen and into the living room, out of the hallway and into his bedroom—and with little pecks on your lips stolen when no one’s watching, quick kisses that leave you feeling exhilarated despite their chastity.
Suddenly, he’s home a hell of a lot more. He’s sitting too close to you on the couch while you curl up with a textbook, his thigh pressed against you and flesh burning hot through his black jeans. He’s joining the family dinner a few times a week, idly hooking and unhooking his ankle with yours beneath the table while smirking at you from across it.
Suddenly, he’s asking you if you need a ride to school, or if you need someone to pick you up. You don’t, you tell him, the bus is just fine, but he insists. It’s what niichans do, he says. He wants to take care of you, he says.
Who are you to deny him that, really?
✰          ✰          ✰
The first time you experience Touya angry is about a month after the inciting incident, when he catches you walking home with a few of your university friends.
He had texted you earlier that day, telling you that he—very regretfully, he said—would be unable to pick you up from school this afternoon because ‘something had come up’.
You didn’t question what it was—you knew he’d lie even if you did. So you accepted it obediently, reassured him that it was fine, that you’d find another way home.
You’re pretty sure if you had told him that you didn’t have any extra change on you for the bus suddenly whatever important thing that had come up’ which so desperately needed his attention wouldn’t be so urgent anymore. But you didn’t want to be a bother, or inconvenience him, so you say nothing.
Two friends decide they’ll accompany you on your walk home, so you aren’t lonely, they claim. Normally, the walk from campus to your house is about thirty minutes, but that day it takes you nearly an hour, wasting time goofing around and walking slowly as you talk idly.
Touya’s already pissed that it’s taken you so long to arrive home, that you’ve ignored all of his extremely considerate texts asking if you’re alright, but when he sees you squished between two boys, giggling as the three of you stumble up your driveway—he’s fucking fuming.
“Where the fuck have you been?” he asks, voice calm and monotonous, leaning casually against the doorframe.
Your head snaps up—you swear he wasn’t there just a second ago—blood running cold.
His stance is relaxed, arms crossed loosely over his chest, lazily raising an eyebrow as your wide eyes meet his. Technically, the only indication that he’s furious is the blazing blue fire in his eyes, but your friends can read the tension in the air surrounding him, shuffling a little closer to you. This minuscule action does not go unnoticed by Touya, sharp jaw clenching once.
“You had niichan worried,”
You’re frozen a few feet away from the porch, unable to find your voice, to move your legs, to breathe at all.
“I didn’t know you had an older brother,”
Your eyes do not leave Touya’s as you speak, the words hoarse. “Oh, we’re—”
“Yeah,” Touya bites, irritation finally bleeding into his voice. “She does,” his eyes float back to yours. “Come here, princess,”
Your body snaps into action, moving automatically before you can even comprehend it, allowing Touya to tuck you into his side the moment you reach him.
Your hands are shaking, but you have no control over them as your fingers curl in his white t-shirt, clinging to him. To your surprise, the arm around your shoulders hugs you closer in response, thumb caressing you.
“Thanks for making sure she got home safely,” he tosses over his shoulder, managing to make the simple sentence sound like an insult, tone bordering on patronizing, while he turns on his heel, marching you both inside.
“I-I’m so sorry,” you’re rushing to say the moment the front door shuts behind you two, Touya’s arm still wrapped firmly around you.
He looks down at you coldly. “Don’t you dare pull shit like that again,” he tells you, eerily calm voice forcing spikes of icy dread up your spine. He pauses for a moment, letting his words sink in as his eyes bore into yours. “You had me worried sick,” he breathes out then, squeezing you again. You’re surprised in the sudden change of tone, feeling your chest swell at the thought of him fretting over you, a small smile gracing your lips.
“I…I did?”
Touya’s eyebrows furrow, as if he’s offended at your questioning, mood morphing in the span of a second. “Of course you fucking did,” he spits like you’re stupid, arm dropping. “Do you ever check your phone?”
“Wh-What?”
Touya rolls his eyes. “Check your phone,” he calls out airily as he begins walking into the kitchen, shaking his head a little, disappointment rolling off him in waves.
Hastily fishing your phone out of your bag, you’re astonished to see eight texts from him and three missed calls. You scroll through the texts quickly, each one making you feel more nauseous than the next. ‘Is everything okay? You should’ve been home by now’; ‘Please answer me, princess, you’re making your niichan nervous’; ‘Where are you? Answer my fucking calls already’. Guilt turns sour in your mouth and you hurry after him.
“I-I really am s-so sorry,” you force the words out, unsure as to why there are suddenly tears stinging your eyes. He isn’t even doing anything—his back is facing you as he nonchalantly begins brewing a pot of coffee.
But the thought of him being upset with you, of losing his approval, sends a sharp pain searing through your chest.
“Are you?” he asks, and although his voice holds no malice in it, it causes your whole body to stutter with a harsh breath.
“Yes,” you whimper out, latching onto his arm and tugging in an attempt to draw his eyes to yours, to see how regretful you are, the remorse written across your face. “I should’ve…That was so careless and inconsiderate of me,”
“It was,” he agrees simply, voice still light, as if he’s discussing something as mundane as the weather. “But you’ll never do it again, right?”
“Right,” you agree readily, breathing out the word before you even realize what you’re agreeing to.
“Tell niichan you’ll never worry him like that again,” he finally looks over at you.
“I-I’ll never worry you like that again, niichan, I pr-promise,”
His eyes hold yours for what feels like eons, before he finally twists his arm out of your grasp, instead wrapping it around you and tugging you against his body. You stay staring up at him, eyes wide and obedient, breath bated as you wait for your next order, so pliant and ready to serve him.
“Good,” he whispers, eyes finally softening, and you feel like you can breathe properly again. His free hand cups your face, thumb running along your lips, then your chin, then your jaw. “You want to be good for me, don’t you, sweetheart?”
“Of course,” you respond instantly. Later, you’ll lay awake in your bed, feeling ashamed by your actions, by how readily captivated you were with him, by how easily he was able to manipulate you with those sapphire eyes and that rough voice—
But in that moment, you’ll do anything to pull that little smile from him, anything to hear him tell you you’re good. You just want to be good.
Something dark and primal flashes in those gorgeous eyes as they gaze down at you, a small grin spreading across his face. “Of course,” he repeats softly.
  ✰          ✰          ✰
He begins to trust you more. You meet his friends, each one terrifying in their own right. Jin is alright, although his brain is fried from drugs, and he talks to and contradicts himself a lot, earning the nickname Twice from Tomura.
Tomura horrifies you to your very core—a tall, lanky man with sunken red eyes and sickly pale skin who looks like he’s one bad day away from death—and Touya tells you very sternly to stay away from him.
A university student not unlike yourself, Keigo is your favourite. Keigo is the most normal, with his wild blonde hair and enticing gold eyes that always look like they’re playfully holding the secrets of the universe just out of your grasp.
Keigo’s brain is always going a hundred miles a minute, although you’d never guess it with his trademark lazy drawl, speaking as if he hasn’t got a care in the world. But he can always keep a conversation going, knows exactly what to say to avoid awkward silences or lulls in the discussion, and you appreciate that. You think he’s so cool—he has so much knowledge about the oddest things, everything and anything, ‘a walking encyclopedia’, Tomura calls it, and it fascinates you to no end.
It’s the speed, Touya tells you one night while you’re laying on the couch, your body on top of his, the pads of his fingers dragging down your back in rhythmic strokes. Speed is Keigo’s drug of choice, you find out. Speed is the reason why Keigo knows as much as he does.
“Sometimes he doesn’t sleep for days,” Touya says. “That’s how he has all the time to memorize everything he knows—though that big overactive brain of his plays a part in it, too,”
The thought inexplicably makes your heart sink in your chest, and you don’t say anything else. If Touya notices your shift in mood, he doesn’t mention it. You idly wonder what Touya’s drug of choice is, but you’re too scared of the answer to ask.
  ✰          ✰          ✰
It’s only a few nights later when you wake with a violent jolt, breathing laboured as you absentmindedly press your palm to your chest, trying in vain to calm your racing heart.
A nightmare.
You sit in silence for a moment, listening to the sound of your own harsh breaths echoing off the walls and debating what to do next. A minute later, you swing your legs over the side of the bed, wincing when your bare feet touch the cold hardwood, and pad down the hallway.
You try to trick yourself into believing that you aren’t using this purely as an excuse to spend the night with him. It really was so scary, you reason with yourself, it really has made you all shaken up…
Who are you kidding? You didn’t even attempt to go back to sleep.
You’ve been in his room plenty of times now—sitting daintily on his bed as he introduces you to new music, new movies, new books. Stuff that reminds him of you, he says, stuff that he thought you might be interested in. You’re grateful for it; there are so many things you’ve learned in the short time you’ve known him.
That isn’t all, though. There’s no denying the warmth that spreads through your body, that tiny excited flutter in your chest, when he calls your name and interlaces your fingers, leading you toward his room and telling you he’s got something to show you.
Yes, you’ve been in his room plenty of times now. But this is the first time you spend the night in his bed.
He’s still up, soft golden light leaking from under his closed bedroom door. Your hand quivers a little as you lift it to rap your knuckles against the wood. He appears in the doorway a moment later, leaning against the frame in a black t-shirt that looks like it’s a size or two too small for him, riding up to reveal a teasing sliver of milky skin, tips of his hipbones jutting out from the waistband of his plaid pajama pants.
“Princess? What is it?”
You didn’t realize you were staring, and you jump a little at his gravelly voice.
“Oh. I, um—Well, I just…had a nightmare a-and I can’t sleep,”
You can barely look him in the eyes as you say it, your cheeks burning. You both know it’s a lie.
But he plays along.
“Aw, baby,” he coos, drawing you into his arms, into his room, into his bed.
“You’re trembling,” he murmurs as he turns on his side to face you, propping his head up with a hand. “Poor thing. Was it a bad one?”
Your mouth feels like its been stuffed with cotton, rendering you incapable of speech, tongue dry and sluggish. You nod in response, heat seeping into your cheeks again at just how loudly your heart is thumping while you roll onto your side. There’s only a few inches of space between your bodies now, his hot breath fanning across your face as he speaks again.
“Do you want niichan to help you forget about it?”
The question hangs heavy in the air, and you suck your bottom lip into your mouth, eyes searching his. Your thighs squeeze together at the way his voice has dropped an octave, low and husky, familiar heat pooling in the depths of your belly. He waits patiently, lifting a hand to caress your cheek, then runs his fingertips down your bare arm, goosebumps following.
Finally, you nod. You think you see the corners of his lips quirk up into the slightest hint of a smirk, but you blink, and it’s gone.
“Here,” he whispers, hooking an arm around your waist and pulling you against him. Hand cupping your jaw, he tilts your face up and slots his mouth against yours.
You’ve kissed before, of course—in his bed, in yours, on the living room couch, on the kitchen counter with his hips shoved between your thighs—but this…this feels different.
These are kisses with intent, with purpose, with a goal in mind. These are kisses that keep you distracted—slow, soft, messy with saliva—as his hand slips down your body and between your thighs.
Your gasp breaks the kiss, wide eyes blinking up at him then fluttering shut as he brushes a knuckle against your clit. He hushes you, nimble fingers spreading your folds before he drags them up your slit, huffing out a laugh at how wet you already are.
“Were you thinking about something naughty before?” he gasps mockingly, sliding the pads of his fingers back down as he speaks.
His hand withdraws from your shorts and he orders you to lift your hips, tugging the waistband down your thighs. You squirm a little, forcing them further down your legs until you free yourself of them completely, eyes gazing up at him again, awaiting your next command.
Legs part dutifully as his hand travels back down to the apex of your thighs, pushing a finger into your soaking pussy.
It’s slow at first, thrusting leisurely with his middle finger a few times and loosening you up a little before adding his ring finger. Sapphire eyes watch his motions, captivated by how your eager little cunt sucks his fingers in selfishly.
“Look at that, huh?” he breathes, looking down at you. “Such a pretty little pussy you’ve got,”
You open your bleary eyes to peer at yourself, mesmerized by the way his fingers are pumping in and out of you, glistening in the dim light of his bedroom. He curls his fingers and you inhale sharply, hips twitching toward his palm.
“Oh?” he chuckles darkly, knuckles nudging the spot again. “Did niichan find something, baby?”
You don’t know, you’re not sure, you try to tell him, but all you can seem to manage is pathetic little whines while you nod your head.
“Have you ever touched yourself?” he’s asking as the pads of his fingers tap against that spot, your entire body jolting.
“Y-Yes,” you whimper out, a little breathlessly. “But it’s never felt like this,”
“Aw, baby,” he coos, and it’s so condescending. “Then you weren’t doing it right, sweetheart,”
He quickens his pace, chuckles at the way you try to desperately fuck yourself on his fingers at such an awkward angle.
“Poor little thing, can’t even get herself off properly,” he tsks. “You need your niichan to do it for you, don’t you?”
Soft whines spill from your throat as you nod eagerly, your stomach coiling tightly.
“One day,” he breathes, curling his fingers with a vengeance this time, your hips rolling up off the mattress. “When we have the time, I’ll teach you how to make yourself feel so good,”
He’s talking too much. You want to tell him this, tell him to shut the hell up, but every time you try to speak he presses the heel of his palm to your clit and grinds against it, effectively scattering all of your thoughts, soft mewls of niichan the only sound escaping your lips.
Can’t deny his voice is fucking hot though, a form of foreplay all on its own.
And he knows this, can read you like a goddamn book, especially when he’s got his fingers two knuckles deep inside of you. He can feel it, he tells you. You don’t even need to speak; he can feel your thoughts when his voice drops an octave and your cute little hole flutters, when he chuckles and your pussy clenches around his fingers—a slut for his voice, aren’t you?
“Pretty baby, you can’t do anything but nod dumbly, can you? Been fucked stupid by my fingers alone, huh?”
Your head barely moves, lost all control of your body by this point, only able to whimper in response.
“Gonna come all over my fingers, pretty girl?” the knuckle of his thumb begins grazing your clit in quick strokes. “C’mon, make a mess for niichan,”
And it’s pathetic, how quickly your body obeys. Your pussy squeezes once, twice, three times and you’re gushing all over his fingers, juices collecting in his palm, running down his wrist. You’re embarrassed—you’ve never cum that much before, have you?
Breathing still ragged, you nuzzle into his sheets, partially hiding your face from him. Nothing could hide the involuntary grin that forms on your lips, though. Arms snake under your boneless body, tugging a bit.
“Oh no, baby, we aren’t done yet,” Touya’s saying while he hoists you up, letting you lean heavily against him.
Head tilting in confusion, your glazed eyes find his. “Wh-What?”
He looks down at his lap and your gaze follows, a tiny whimper slipping past your lips at the bulge straining against his pants. “Doesn’t niichan deserve a nice reward for helping you forget that scary dream?”
Eyes darting back to his, you nod slowly, whispering out, “Yes. But—But…” But you’re hesitant; you’ve never done anything like this before. Shaking hands reach for the waistband of his pants, beginning to pull them down but freezing when the head of his cock peeks out.
Touya sighs. “Come on, you wanna be a good girl for niichan, don’t you?”
Of course. Of courses you do.
Then he wants you to touch him, he says. He’ll help you; he promises.
“But you gotta get it wet first,”
You ask how, and he laughs at you. “With your tongue, stupid,” he tells you.
He instructs you to kneel on the floor and you comply immediately, trembling legs folding beneath your body as you situate yourself between his knees. He inches forward on the bed a little, shuffling himself to the edge and caging you between his thighs. Bringing his cock close to your mouth, he taps the head against your closed lips.
They part instantly, obediently, his eyes flashing with something sinister as you take the head into your mouth and suck hesitantly, big eyes staring up at him waiting for approval.
He curses, his hips twitching ever so slightly, skin stretched taut over bony knuckles as a hand forms a fist in the sheets. Starting with kitten licks at first, the tip of your tongue barely touches him, tracing veins, then begins to gain more confidence as he groans a little, telling you what to you, that you’re doing good, so good for him.
Watching him through thick lashes, you have the audacity to look bashful as your tongue laves around the shaft, drenching it in saliva. A hand tangles in your hair and yanks, pulling you off his cock when he decides it’s sufficiently wet enough. Long fingers encircle your wrist, bringing your hand to form a fist around him.
“Like this,” he says, jerking your hand up and down.
You’re terrible at it, movements awkward and uncoordinated, but in that moment he doesn’t really care. He’s irritated a little, wondering out loud how anyone can be bad at handjobs while a large hand wraps around yours and forces you to speed up. Bad? Your heart sinks at the small three letter word, a hard lump forming in your throat, looking as though you may start crying.
But he cums quickly after that, ropes of searing hot white painting your cheeks and face. You watch him the entire time, panting a little, lips parted slightly and your tongue darts out to lick them, tasting him.
He laughs at your bitter reaction, and it’s such a patronizing sound.
“Don’t worry,” he says, collecting the cum off your face and forcing his fingers into your mouth. “Someday I’ll stuff your throat full of it.”
  ✰          ✰          ✰
You can no longer mention needing—no, wanting—anything around him anymore, because within the next few days it’s sitting pretty and perfect on your bed, propped up against your lace trimmed pillows.
He’s so good to you; you should be grateful you have such a generous niichan, one who eats you out and spoils you with gifts. You’re so spoiled.
And he tells you this, in the dead of night when you wake to find him shoving his cock into you, snarling a little at your soft whines of protest.
“Don’t be a brat,” he warns. Just be a good girl and take his cock. He does so much for you, can’t you be good for him?
Yes, yes, you want to be good for him, you want to be the best for him.
By this point you’ve lost count of how many times you’ve woken up in the middle of the night with his head between your thighs, prepping you to take him.
“Stay sleeping, baby,” he’ll tell you, words whispered into your hair as his cockhead nudges against your hole.
As if you could ever stay sleeping when only a few minutes later he’s pounding you into oblivion, large hand clasped over your mouth so tightly his blunt nails are digging into your cheek, so hard that it’s yanking your head back, neck beginning to ache.
He tells you to be quiet, “You don’t want anyone to hear, do you? Then we’d have to stop, and you don’t want that, right, sweetheart?”
You don’t, you whimper. Of course you don’t—you want whatever he wants, you want to be his perfect little baby, you want to be told how good you take his cock, the praise mumbled against your skin in a low, strained voice right before he fills you with cum.
  ✰          ✰          ✰
He disappears for a few days near the end of December. You have no idea where, Touya answering your curious texts with playful quips at first before he grows tired of it and tells you to stop fucking asking.
But eventually, he returns.
The front door slams shut and your body flinches with a jolt of excitement. Adrenaline spikes your blood when you hear his heavy boots colliding with the hardwood, getting louder, louder, louder…
He passes right by you, not glancing at you at all. Moments later, the sound of water hitting the tiled shower wall echoes down the hallway.
And you wait. Patiently, you wait, like the good little girl you are, not daring to move a muscle. Eventually he re-emerges, hair still damp, a few strands sticking to his neck.
With a groan, he collapses on the couch next to you, flopping his head into your lap and gazing up at you with glazed, blown sapphire eyes.
“You’re high,” you say softly, not accusatory, just an observation. He giggles a little.
“So what if I am?”
“What did you take?”
“Oh,” he gasps mockingly. “Oh no, baby, I can’t tell you that,”
Why? The question is burning on the tip of your tongue, and you can tell that he’s anticipating that to be your next response, but you bite down on your bottom lip, holding it in. You know his answer already, can practically hear his patronizing voice—Because good baby sisters aren’t supposed to know about stuff like this.
“Can I try some?” you ask instead.
All of the mirth fades from his eyes in an instant, and he moves in a flash despite his inebriated state, so quick you can barely tell what’s happening. His large hand wraps around your bicep in a bruising grasp, pulling you towards him as he sits up, his face an inch away from yours.
“Absolutely fucking not,” he spits, cobalt eyes blazing and voice rumbling against your chest. “And if I so much as catch wind that you’re using, have a mere feeling that you’ve tried it—even just once—I’ll slaughter you and the fucker you got it from. Do you understand me?”
Surprised tears spring into your eyes and you nod jerkily, body beginning to tremble as your breath gets caught in your throat. You want to tell him that you didn’t mean it, honest, you promise!; that you were just kidding around, you swear!, but you can’t, voice mangling itself with the hitched little breaths on the back of your tongue.
He growls at your silence, his grip around your arm tightening and you cry out, terrified that he might actually crush the bone with his bare hand.
“Say, yes Touya, I understand,”
“Y-Yes Touya, I understand,” you manage to stutter out, voice returning only at the command of a direct order, tears spilling over and rolling down your cheeks in pairs. His eyes search your face for a moment, his features contorted in fury, before he sneers at you, squeezing your arm once then roughly letting go, shoving you away from him.
You fall backward against the arm of the couch, heart thumping so vigorously you’re sure he can hear it. He groans, throwing his head back and closing his eyes, exasperated.
“Fuck,” he sighs, eyes opening to glare at the ceiling. “You’ve ruined my high,”
You stare at him, breath coming out in uneven huffs, clinging to the couch.
“I-I’m sorry,” you whisper, terrified to move lest you upset him more.
He’s silent for a moment, still staring up, until he lolls his head to the side, glancing at you through the corner of his eye. A small smirk spreads across his face.
“C’mere,” he says, nodding his head a little in indication.
“Wh-What?”
“C’mere,” he repeats. “Come make it up to me,”
Your body’s moving before you’ve given it permission to, crawling into his lap obediently, thighs on either side of his hips. His smirk widens, and you love it—you love how much control he has over you without even trying, you love the way a quiet whimper slips through your lips as his large hands begin kneading your flesh, running up your legs and grabbing your ass.
Lips trail up the column of your neck, and you tilt your head back, a silent plea for more. You can feel the way his lips curl into a grin against your skin, nipping at it a second later.
“So, how you gonna make it up to me? Huh?” he shifts his hips under you, pressing his hard cock into your clothed core. You whine a little, grinding against him.
“I’ve got a few ideas,” you breathe out while sharp teeth mar your collarbone.
“The hell you waiting for? Show me,”
You begin sliding down his body and he pushes on your shoulders, forcing you to your knees between his spread thighs. He watches you through half-lidded eyes, gaping pupils outlined by a thin ring of blue.
Holding his gaze, you lean forward with your pretty little tongue hanging out and begin licking along the straining bulge, tracing it slowly, the denim rough against your sensitive muscle. You relent though, lapping at his clothed cock in slow, long strokes, and his jeans are just thin enough for you to feel him pulse in response.
A giggle bubbles up past your lips, muffled by the denim, already beginning to feel heady as you pull simple reactions from him. Your mouth forms a cute little ‘o’ and you suck on him the best you can through his jeans, drooling all over his lap and soaking through the material.
The hand in your hair tightens into a fist, yanking hard and pulling your mouth away. “Stop fucking teasing,” he warns, a hint of something ominous in his voice.
You obey, because you always obey, tiny fingers working to quickly unbuckle his belt, pop the button, yank down the zipper. He aids you, lifting his hips and allowing you to tug his jeans down his thighs enough for his cock to spring out.
His own hand wraps around the shaft, you pausing mid-action as you reach for it.
“Open,” he demands, your dutiful lips parting immediately, letting him push his cock into the warm, wet cavern.
He sets a brutal, punishing pace from the start, refusing to give you a single moment to adjust. His other hand fists in your hair, forcing you to stay still as he rams his cock down your throat.
Reflexive tears burn your eyes, blurring your vision. You blink quickly to clear them, desperate to watch him, to catalogue all of his micro-expressions and the sound of his voice as he grunts out your name, to burn it into your mind, etch it into your very soul.
Touya’s head falls back against the couch, Adams apple bobbling with his rough whimpers, long neck and sharp collarbone on full display. If your mouth wasn’t otherwise occupied, you’d love to lick up his smooth skin, to trace the dips of his collarbone with your tongue and sign your name in brilliant splotches of blue and purple.
You’re gagging around his cock now, starting to feel lightheaded and struggling to inhale enough oxygen. The ache in your jaw is beginning to spread, but you ignore it, stretching your mouth open wider, to take more, to be good for him, to make him proud. It’s worth it for the hoarse, throaty moans you’re pulling from him, to hear your name shuddered out, followed by a breathy, “Fuck,”
He forces hot cum down your throat a moment later, and you choke on it, sputtering around his cock, throat spasming as it tries to force the foreign object out. He won’t let it, though. He holds your head in place, nose pressed against his pubic bone, and you can do nothing but take it, like a good little girl, like he tells you to.
But it’s all worth it. It’s all worth it, to hear his broken whines like that, to have him look down at you and pull your hair and tell you you’re good, so good for him.
And you’re sobbing by the end of it, gasping for air the moment he lets go of you, wheezing violently as your head collapses against his thigh.
“Did I—” you cough, voice raspy from having your throat fucked raw, “—Did I make it up to you, niichan?” you gaze up at him, eyelashes spiky with residual water. You’re the perfect picture of obedience, strands of hair stuck to your face where your salty tears have dried and swollen lips gleaming with saliva as you watch him with glittering eyes, waiting desperately for his praise.
He looks down at you, eyes devious and diabolical, chest heaving a little. “Of course you did,” he tells you, corners of his lips tugging up into a sharp smirk as you melt into him. “You always do, don’t you?”

Theory: Hero Public Safety Commission is a double meaning
“Hero Public Safety Commission” - Working hard to keep the public safe by distributing Heroes and agents out into the field and dealing with problems such as Villains
“Hero Public Safety Commission” - Working hard to hide the ugly truths of a Hero’s deeds away from the public. For example, a Hero pays for something illegal for their own pleasure, even goes to a black market in order to get it. They would then go to the HC to cover up any evidence of the transaction by paying the HC to deal with any leaks, like media sneaking around, anybody who unfortunately comes across the transaction, or even those who SOLD the illegal thing. They’ll do whatever they need to to cover up the greed/ugly mistakes of a Hero in order to preserve the peace of the country and keep pushing that “Heroes Are Always The Good Guys” propaganda
They would be protecting the public by sending out Heroes to do a job, but they’d also be protecting the Heroes by not allowing a scandal to take place
I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and one of the thoughts that led me to this theory is that: I find it continuously suspicious how the news of Rei’s hospitalization wasn’t more commonly known. It didn’t seem commonly known. And as far as I know, nobody has shown any evidence to it ever being in the media that she was hospitalized.
Along with that, I also find it suspicious how Touya’s case wasn’t talked about by the media either (I could be wrong and they actually have talked about it, but as far as I remember, there was no report on Touya’s death despite how many witnesses there were to him burning in the forest and there’s no evidence to anybody saying anything like “Wait HANG ON GUYS does that mean Dabi is Touya Todoroki, Endeavor’s SON that died in that forest when he was 12 years old??” after The Reveal, ya know?)
Obviously, I think if its true the media didn’t report anything, then somebody bought they’re silence. It could have very well been Endeavor who gave them money to stop snooping. After all, he also kept the media away from his children. But you know who has even more power over the media? Who has more authority than Endeavor? The Hero Public Safety Commission
(There’s also the real possibility of Endeavor going to the HPSC and paying them to keep the media silent too. It doesn’t have to be just the HC acting on their own, it could also be Endeavor being a Toxic Asshole and wanting to keep his reputation from shattering)
One bit of evidence to the HPSC protecting Heroes is when it was shown to us that the media didn’t report on the Chairman’s true cause of death. Izuku didn’t know about Nagant killing him, which means the media didn’t tell the truth. And since the subject was about inhumane conditions in the HC, then it stands to reason that the HC agents were the ones who did the cover up of their own agency to make it look like a tragedy had occurred
Tumblr media
Plus, that whole thing about sending Nagant out to kill Vigilantes that didn’t even do anything yet. There’s no way that many murders could have occurred without SOMEONE picking up on it, and if it was the media, then SOMEONE had to buy their silence, twist their headlines to something more favorable. And with the only ones knowing of the murders being the HC, then it makes sense that it would be THEM messing with the media
PLUS the fact that there are A LOT of similarities between the HC and Villains like Ujiko and AFO. There’s the whole manipulation and grooming thing with AFO. but then we also have HPSC using that Death-like Sleep technology
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then, when you add in the very real possibility of the HPSC manipulating the media by buying their silence/twisting the headlines and the meaning, we can also compare THAT to Skeptic
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(There is also that whole thing about Skeptic’s past. He said he’d only ever failed once in his life. It’s fishy how that detail was brought up and it makes me think... was Skeptic involved with the HPSC in some way? No evidence to this, just thinking is all👀)
Anyway, I can see this theory being true. The Hero Public Safety Commission Is Already So Damn Suspicious
And one more thing I’d like to point out - not really evidence but its still interesting - is how Present Day Chairwoman is with the Then Chairman, specifically witnessing middle school Nagant’s meeting with him, and then there is also the fact that she is Hawks’ boss now
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which could mean that she is either still enforcing this whole “Hide The Truth From The Civilians” thing with the media, like Chairman did, or she’s gotten better at hiding the Bad Hero stuff from the media. Idk
BUT it’s interesting seen as SHE is the current leader of the HPSC (well. depends if she’s still alive or not after the War) and we still had info not being broadcasted or being cut out. Much to think about
Thank you for reading :)

AU where the Top 20 Heroes know about OFA
All might decides, wether because he was pressured by Gran Torino or Sir Nighteye or both, idk, but All Might decides to tell the top 20 heroes about OFA, in case he is in a position where he has to pass his quirk and doesn't have the time to give them all the story of the Quirk
(HC)Kind of like what happened with Nana with her friend En.
Anywho, cue chaos
Because what
It takes a while for the top 20 to understand what happened
For example, Rei is wondering why Enji is so shell shocked while taking care of baby Touya and Baby Fuyumi
*On a bright side, though, he realized that, technically speaking, he is one rank ahead because Toshinori does have help*
*Yes, this is based on that one thing I rebloged a while before, if you can find it pls send me the link
CONTINUING ON!!!! The top 20 get busy, helping either the load of All Might, so he can either rest or look for AFO OR help by trying to look for clues on where AFO is themselves
They also hunt down Toshinori and force him to sleep
Also, because of the whole OFA revealed thing, the top heroes are closer than before, with team ups and such
It also means that they are there to help take Enji out of his obsession of becoming number 1, either by forcing him to train with them or by forcing to go to therapy with the threat of ratting out to the Hero Commission about his 'unstable mental space'
They weren't actually going to do that
Side Note: The Top 20 also know that they can't tell the Hero Commission about OFA because either they would use it to blackmail All Might or force him to pass it on or worse
Anyone who tries to tell HPSC or any criminal organization will be dealt with
By whatever means necessary
Anyways, if Enji got worse, the heroes would remove Rei and the kids from home and try and get Enji back to his old, as in good, way as soon as possible.
It was then that Rei shared pictures of her, the kids and All Might in the BNHA version of Disney Land
The Press: 'Did the Wife of the Number Two Hero Leave him for All Might? More at Seven!'
Enji sulked a bit when he was back to normal because of that
Also, Enji, when he no longer was an a-hole, made it clear that if Rei wanted to leave the marriage that he wouldn't stop helping her family or stop her from seeing the kids if they somehow ended up spending most of the time with him
The Heroes also made sure that if Rei needed, they would break her out and hid her
Rei thanked them but decided to stay, with monthly trips to Marriage Counsellor with Enji, both in the agreement that if the other decided that the relationship wasn't working that they would either break up, or keep being married for show and taxes and stuff until they found someone else they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with
Also, when Touya started to insist on to become a hero/use his quirk, the Heroes were there and helped Rei and Enji deal with it
I feel like I should mention that Enji social skills are better in this au
As is his popularity ratings because of the other heroes
Oh wow, I have been focusing on Enji the Todoroki Family a lot
Just going to say this then: Weather or not, Touya still ends up becoming Dabi is undecided
Ok, now back to the other heroes
They force Toshinori to rest, going as far as to hunt him down in broad daylight and/or threatening him to reveal any embarrassing story they have to the press
Toshinori never rested more in his entire Hero Career
The Press is going wild, some trying to guess why the heroes are working together more now
The gossip rags go as far as trying to see if anyone is dating anyone
'Breaking news! Is Endeavor dating All Might?'
'Thank you Yumi, now- Wait, is that Endeavor running after All Might throwing fire at him!?'
'Yes, Endeavor was under Mind Control, no, we won't talk more about the incident.' = Endeavor Agency
When AFO vs All Might happen, the heroes minus Endeavor go help with the fight
They didn't want to make it so that kids didn't have a father, even if Enji himself admitted he wasn't the best one
Anyway, some heroes end up dead, other's injured enough to retire and a few unlucky ones got their quirk stolen
They reassure Toshinori, who blamed himself when he discovered, that they didn't mind
They did take down the worst villain in the history of Japan, so if that's all it took, they don't mind.
Toshinori still feels guilty, especially when the heroes that recovered/ weren't able to go to the fight, go chasing after him to insist that he rests
The Most effective method is sticking the Todoroki kids + maybe Rei, if she isn't busy, on Toshinori on strict conditions to not let All Might go
Also, side note: Rei now is able to do a college online (as it was easier for her at the time, later on she might go in person) and to sell some ice sculptures to her own bank account thanks to the Heroes not minding being babysitters
And slowly turning almost every member of the Todoroki family into their fans, enough that, no matter what they tell Enji, he is their number two hero
Also also also, Toshinori isn't as hurt as in canon, but AFO is more hurt, as there were more people to help All Might in the fight, so while AM isn't top health, thanks to the help in the fight and making sure he actually rests from the 'evil monster that appeared and tried to take over Japan that needed the top heroes to take them down' (as the press and people think), All might ends up having a few more hours in canon, but when he passes on the quirk to Izuku his hours shorten to 3 like in canon
No, the heroes didn't know that All Might passed on OFA until the school year started
Enji, storming in during the sports festival where the heroes that knew about Toshinori's condition and said person were, having talked to his son: What the Hell Yagi!? Why didn't you tell us you had a kid!?
Toshinori: *Coughs blood while the heroes that know and do not know about OFA are in an uproar while Midnight pass money to Ectoplasm but refuses to give some to Cementoss, they don't know for sure that Izuku was from a one-night stand, so she won't pay you*
Also, as people rise up to the charts, they are told about the secret, but only after a while when they are sure that they can trust them
Haws took the longest, and it took Miruko, Best Jeanist and even Endeavor to reassure them that they would keep an eye on him for Hawks to be told
He hasn't betrayed their trust, mostly because he doesn't want to and the rest because the Comission never asked him if he knew about All Might's quirk sooooooo
Also, they try to make sure the charts don't change much from the top 20 upwards, or if it does it's someone who was already in the known, as to not reveal the secret too many times
Which heroes who aren't in the know Do Not Like
Also, when Toshinori's time for the day is up (which, btw, the heores were concerned over the fact that it somehow lowered to 20), he calls in other heroes to replace him
Yes, this is an invitation for someone to make a fic where a hero is there with Azawa and Thirteen when the USJ happens
Anyway, cue very weirded out UA about how all the top heroes seem to passive agreesively force All Might to rest or appear and take over the classes after kicking Toshinori out

This is so utterly stupid but I have a few HC’s about Muslim Dabi(again obv this isn’t canon I just think it’s funny)
-Dabi would def be the type of Muslim dude who claims to be super religious cuz he never eats pork and “goes to the mosque to pray”(which is actually just code for hitting a blunt in the back of the parking lot w Hawks and Shigaraki💀), but yet smokes^^ and still has hella sex with like every other girl who bats her lashes at him from across the dining hall
-he also is a big cat lover, he claims since the Prophet Muhammad had cats of his own it’s sunnah to keep one
-on Eid namaz he’s the most dripped out one at the session, I’m talking black kurta dress, nice ass watch, slicked back hair...but funny enough, no one has actually seen him in line for the prayers themselves
-if he were back at home with the rest of the Todoroki’s, he’d most definitely be THE MOST spoiled one. Fuyumi would get on his ass for not cleaning the dishes, but he’d wave her off and tell her it’s training for her to be a better housewife for her future husband(cue a soapy sponge thrown at his head)
-Snitches.Constantly. Bro like this dude catches Shoto on his phone when he’s supposed to be doing a dua? Boom, instant callout followed by a long ass lecture about how he’s straying away from his religion and how he’s going to hell just because he spent one measly moment on his device instead of praising da lord
-Hes also always telling fuyumi to cover up her sleeves that come just a bittt before her wrists, claiming that she’s showing too much skin(especially when Hawks is over, that fucker’s got his eyes on every single one of his family members). But she’s quick to point out his secret tattoos, piercings, and hair dyes. He just scoffs and pulls the “women were created lesser than men so it’s okay for me to act a fool but not for you” card🙄stg I can’t stand him
-Since he’s the closest to Natsu, he’s always giving Eid money to him the most. The dude will slouch against his favorite brothers’ door, watching him play 2K. “What do you want?” Natsu asks with no real malice, not taking his eyes off the changing screen, furiously clicking away on his controller. “Mom says you gotta iron your clothes, Fuyumi’s doing her own so she can’t do yours as well. Oh, and Eid Mubarak by the way.” Natsu pauses him game and stands to stretch his arms above his head, groaning at the tendons popping in place on his back. “Yeah man, you too-what’s that?” He points to a fat parcel in Touya’s hand. The white-haired boy grins and chucks the bulging package at him, which Natsu catches easily. His eyes widen when he tears open the cream-colored paper envelope and reveals dozens of bills exceeding the usual 5-10$ family limit. “Yo, what-how-thanks Touya!” He sputters, throwing the package on his bed and throwing an arm around his brothers’ back in a man-hug. Touya rolls his eyes and barely suppresses a smile at Natsu’s excitement,(something he’s always wanting to be the source of) pounding his back to let go before he asphyxiates. He lets go and Touya smirks before heading towards the door, calling out over his shoulder, “Oh, and I’d thank Sho-turd as well while you’re singing my praise.” Natsu stops in his tracks and looks suspiciously at the withdrawing slender figure. “Why?”. Touya’s voice is distant as he moves to close and lock his door. “‘Cuz it’s his money after all.”
-The two brothers are always waking up at Sehri the earliest in Ramadhan, just so they can scarf down a majority of the food in the fridge and go to sleep without having to interact with the rest of their family at sunrise. And in the case that their family DOES wake up in time to see them chomping down food made for a WHOLE FAMILY and not just two boys, Touya is quick to grab his keys and jacket and cackle that him and Natsu are going to iHop to eat some more. Natsu ofc is quick to follow pursuit, throwing an apologetic grin towards his parents and other siblings.
-When they’re at the mosque and Enji has somehow bullied him enough to sit the hell down and actually ATTEND the lectures for once, Touya still has one up his sleeve. Planned out strategically, he always simpers to Rei that he wants to donate to the mosque, causing her eyes to water and a handful of cash thrown his way, her voice wobbly as she praises her son for actually taking the foundations of his religion seriously. Unbeknownst to her however, this just means that he’ll take a little bit more than he gives. Hawks will be standing at the front of the hall, bowing his head and using his silver tongue to graciously thank the many men and women who come forth to drop their allowance into the money basket. When he sees his best man approaching, he has to stop the smug grin from reaching his ears, instead slanting his brows and holding the basket out to the now black-haired thief. “Glad to see you’re taking eternal damnation seriously, for once,” Keigo flashes his perky whites and Dabi drops Rei’s money into the donation basket, dipping his hand a little lower for a second. “Glad to see you’re still standing here like some busboy peasant, as usual,” he fires back, the two boys catching each other’s eyes and stifling their cackles as the patched hand withdraws, a copious amount of bills in his hand, more than what he put in.
-100% steals shoes. Usually you hear about older men doing this, but age aint nothin’ but a number to Dabi, baby. “Nice kicks,” he nods to a boy Natsu’s age, noting the blue and black minimalist patterns adorning the shoes. The boy recognizes Dabi as one of the most revered figures at the mosque (and the most featured by adults. Who’d want their kid hanging out with the eldest Todoroki as an influence?) and bobs his head excitedly, spewing out the manufacture and release dates of the shoes. Dabi looks at the fanboy amusedly, continuing to lean against the shoe rack as more people crowd around and start to push the boy inside. “See you later Dabi!” The eccentric kid calls out as he’s pushed into the hall by grumbling uncles. The ravenette snickers fo himself, “Yeah, but you won’t be seeing these shoes anytime soon.”
-A notorious playboy in the community. Uncles glare at him, unable to scold him outright for his shenanigans due to his father’s close presence, and aunties steer their children away from him at dinner parties. Speaking of, Dabi’s at a dinner right now. He’s lighting up a joint in amongst 3 mesmerized girls sitting on the floor in front of him and 2 jealous dudes his age in a locked room, away from all the screaming little kids. “Wow Dabi, doesn’t it burn?” The youngest of the three girls asks him with imploring eyes. He smiles a charming smile down at her and he thinks he sees the other two swoon. “Nah, sweetheart, you get used to it after a little while. Don’t be like me though, keep yourself pure and clean,” he shoots a wink at them and they giggle, faces turning red. The other two boys sitting at the far end of the bed scowl at his successful flirting, but Dabi doesn’t care for any of them, honestly, they’re just target practice. Right as he inhaled the fumes of another puff, a little body throws itself at the door, banging its fists on the wood. “It’s time for food!” They all jump at the intrusion and chuckle as the intruder runs away, containing to scream about food being served. The group gets up to leave and exits through the door, but Dabi takes his time. He wasn’t done with his joint, and he has to waft the smell away anyways when he leaves. He’s opening a window to let out some air when he heads a soft shuffle from behind him. “Shows over guys, go eat-“ but when he turns around, the oldest girl of the three stands before him, fiddling with her hands and looking at the floor. “Um, Dabi? I know you said not to try it out by ourselves so...I was wondering if you could-if you could teach me how...?” She looks at the half-used roll in his hand, and he looks from the blunt to her face. He looks behind her. A closed door. Perfect. Taking a step forwards, he relishes in how she takes a hesitant step back, the breath in her throat catching but she still doesn’t back down. She looks to him like he’s a god, and he feels like one right now. And so he steps closer until she’s backed against the wall, his lids lowered to her wide ones, and he placed a hand next to her head. “Didnt your mom ever tell you not to take things from strangers?” He ghosts by the shell of her ear, and she shivers. “She never told me the strangers would be this hot,” and he has to laugh a bit at her tenacity. He pulls away and flops back on the bed, signaling for her to join him. “Well come one then, I’m hungry, better hurry up before I change my mind.” And 5 shotguns later, Dabi barely wipes off her bright pink lipstick from his face and straightens his kurta along with his hair before bounding down the steps, eager for food. At his command, she comes down a minute after him as to not cause any suspicion, but it doesn’t stop Rei from shooting him a knowing glare from the living room as he piles his plate with food. He shoves a veggie roll in his mouth as he turns to join the boys in the dining area, but his path is blocked by a large woman. “I know you’re up to no good. The children told me what funny smell was coming from the room upstairs, and I know you’re to blame, Touya Todoroki. I respect your mother a lot so I won’t make a scene here-“ he interrupts her, mouth half full with a roll, “-I mean, you already kinda are,-“ but she continues her tirade. “-I don’t think you’re a good influence on these kids, especially your siblings. What self respecting family would be okay with their son acting like a hooligan, having piercings, smelling like weed?” He smirks and swallows before swerving around her. “I don’t know Aunty, why don’t you ask your daughter? She didn’t seem to mind my, ah, influence.”
-When they were all younger, there was a time where End*avor wanted the boys the toughen up a bit and stop messing around so much. He brought the family up to the mountains in a nice cabin, purposefully choosing an area with farms nearby. It was around the time of Eid-e-Adha, so naturally goats and sheep’s were going to be sacrificed for the family feast. Touya already knew what was going on, so Enji left it up to him, a scrawny preteen boy to take over the initiation. Fuyumi wanted to come to the farm too, but Touya glared at her and told her to stay home because “girls are too emotional for this.”(he really did think that, but above all he held a secret soft spot for his only younger sister). Natsu and Touya both started heading down to the field to pick out a goat, and ofc little Shoto wanted to come along to. He begged and begged for his older brothers to bring him along and to not leave him at home for once, and with a sly glance to Natsu, Touya relented. He leaned down to Shoto’s eye-level and asked with serious eyes, “You sure?”. Shoto nodded eagerly, standing straight up as to look more solemn and mature. Natsu held back a snicker and grabbed Shoto by the collar as they dragged him out to the pasture. Oh, the little boy was in heaven among the bleating sheep and fluffy coats. “Go ahead, pick one out!” Touya said eagerly, nodding to the clueless toddler to choose a sacrificial sheep. And so the heterochromatic child pointed to one, looking to his big brothers for assurance, to which they gave an excited nod. Shoto yelped with glee and spent the rest of the afternoon frolicking with the soon-to-be-mutton chops, completely oblivious to its grim fate and creating a bond with the animal. So when it was finally sunset and the time came to start preparing for the feast, Touya walked over leisurely to Shoto, pushed the grubby hand away from the animal’s collar, and started pulling the creature towards the chopping block. “W-what’re you doing?” Shoto asked uncertainty. “Well, we gotta eat, right? Thanks for picking out such a fat sheep, ‘wonder how it’s gonna taste,”. The eldest grinned with malice at his youngest brother, who started to sniffle and ball his fists. “You’re lying! Leave it alone!” He cried out. “Nope, m’not lying, ask Natsu.” Natsu turns to Shoto and shrugs his shoulders without any real regret. “You’re the one who wanted to come along, right? Think of how proud dad will be of his favorite-he finally sacrificed his first sheep!”
-the first time he was ever asked to lead the namaz, Keigo and Tomura kept kicking the back of his legs so he would fall over while trying to recite the prayers, and in turn he’d immediately whip around in the middle of the whole damn hall and shoot fire at the two howling boys. Needless to say, he was never asked to read again
(one would think since Dabi knows sooo much about being a gOoD mUsLim and how to follow the rules he’d take some of that advice HIMSELF)

Gift wrapping & Giving Hcs
Yes I know christmas has come and gone, but! This stands all year round. This is a super cute hc from dms with @bakuroo-writings that started because I could not figure out how to wrap a stuffed animal for my nephew. Check out the Hq version here
Also, yes i know the format is weird but I don't care.
Tumblr media
🌙Aizawa & Present Mic- Look, Aizawa may bee good with a capture weapon but I firmly believe he cannot wrap a present to save his life, he also kind of sucks at buying present, he tries but it's not great. Mic though, Mic does all the fancy wrapping and buys the best present and includes a mix tape made just for you.
m🌙Pros & Nezu - All migt, does a decent job wrapping them and he tries his best to get something you like, even if it's not really what you wanted. Nezu horrible wrapper and give pet toys to confuse the humans. FatGum, his wrapping is ok in thin form but in his fat form it's a little messy, his presents are thoughtful and sweet. Best Jeanist, it's all denim, wrapping and presents, all denim. Midnight, amazing wrapping, uses sleek black bags and purple tissue paper, also gets amazing gifts.
🌙Aoyama - Now, he seems like the person that would be great at wrapping but he's not. He instead uses fancy bags. Also gets you weird fancy foods as presents so take that as you will.
🌙The Bakugou's- Katsuki, sucks at wrapping, but his present buying skills are out of this world. He's always paying attention so he nails it. Mitsuki, wrapping skills out of this world, she can wrap anything and everything, present buying though, she kind of sucks at. Masaru his wrapping is ok, not great but his present buying skills are flawless. 🌙The Todoroki's- Rei is a master and wrapping and buying presents. She's so thoughtful and Fuyumi 100% takes after her. Enji, man is train wreck, sucks at both, he pays to get your presents wrapped at the store, and yes you will hate the presents. Natsuo wraps them in newspaper and Fuyumi hates it so she ends up wrapping them, presents are ok, nothing amazing. Shouto, wrapping also sucks, either pays to get them wrapped or Fuyumi does it. But his presents are amazing, he pays attention even when you think he's not. Touya (Dabi), he's actually decent at wrapping, but he sucks at presents, usually forgets so you never get to see his wrapping skills.
🌙Mirko & Hawks - Mirko's wrapping is amazing, nice crisp folds and decent presents that you'll really like. Hawks' wrapping is ok. He uses newspaper and it's a little messy. Presents are decent, but he really could do better.
🌙The League (Excluding Dabi)- Kurogiri, he's good at both, he has a decent grasp on both things so no complaints. Toga's wrapping is pretty decent, and her present buying skills are ok, but they're always slightly off. Spinner's wrapping is horrible, he really should just use bags, but he buys some decent gifts though. Shigaraki, for a man that cannot use all of his fingers his wrapping is pretty good. Gift buying skill are however terrible. Twice's wrapping is good but presents are not the greatest.
🌙 Tokoyami & Dark Shadow- Ok, hear me out. Tokoyami cannot wrap for shit, but Dark shadow is amazing. Dark Shadow sucks at getting presents but Tokoyami does pretty good usually.
🌙The Big Three- Mirio's wrapping is good, but a little messy, his presents depend on the day, sometimes it's things he thinks are funny, others its thoughtful and sweet. Hado is surprisingly bad at wrapping presents but she always gets thoughtful sweet presents. Tamaki mainly uses bags because he's anxious about messing it up, and he spends hours shopping. He goes to a million stores and asks a million people if they think it's a good gift, and he always gets something amazing.
🌙Koda & Sato - Both their wrapping is pretty good, and gifts are nice. Koda is thoughtful and Sato bakes one of your favorite desserts!
🌙 The Midoriya's - Inko is a goddess at wrapping and getting presents. Izuku on the other hand cannot wrap to save his life, I mean it is so bad, Inko wraps everything for him because it pains her to look at it. He does however get really nice gifts, he knows you and gets something he'll know you'll like, also gets All Might stuff.
🌙Mineta- Alright, his wrapping could be better but it's not garbage, his presents though, are always really creepy for the girls and for the guys they're just odd. He doesn't put thought into really.
🌙Iida- You would think that his wrapping is great but it's not, the colors of the ribbons and paper always match and look nice, but he uses a little to much tape and it's just a little off. His presents are always very practical, like really practical. You need them but they don't make the best presents.
🌙Uraraka & Tsu- They both do some decent wrapping, Tsu is better at wrapping and always does super cute themes for her wrapping, and yes it is often frogs. Tsu also gives very sweet thought ful gifts. Uraraka does nice little homemade gifts.
🌙Momo- She can wrap anything beautifully, but she often gets them wrapped professionally and then adds her own personal touches after. Momo gets wonderful gifts, they're just a little to expensive for the average person.
🌙Monoma- His wrapping is not good. Totally should use bags but he never does, but hear me out. He some how nails presents every time. You don't even know how he does it. You never have to say anything because he just knows.
🌙Jirou- Jirou's wrapping skills are pretty solid. She uses simple patterned papers, and neat name tags. Her gifts are well tailored to who she gets them for and like Mic she tends to make a little playlist of songs she thinks you'll like.
🌙Shinsou- Hear me out here ok. Shinsou can be lazy at times, but when he puts the effort it in he can master anything. He can wrap a present super nicely, but he's lazy so he tends to throw it in a bag and write to and from with a sharpie. Same thing goes for presents, some times he can knock it out, others he gets a bit lazy.
🌙Sero - Listen. It's not even about the quirk, but this man uses so much tape when he wraps a present. There is no need for that much tape. However when he shops for you, he does an amazing job, He gets nice presents for everyone he cares about.
🌙Kaminari- Surprisingly great at wrapping presents. He can't do anything fancy, but it's neat and good looking. Presents are another story. Kaminari tries his best, he really does. He's the guy that gets one really good present and the others are kind of crap. He made a good attempt but could improve.
🌙Kirishima - You know this man sucks ass at wrapping presents. It's just not his thing. He ends up piecing wierd scraps together and it's just a hot ass mess. But he's probably one of the best gift givers. He's so sweet and caring and gets the best stuff for everyone.

Note
Sorry if this isn't a super interesting question to really delve into but what do you headcanons are Dabi and Tomura's hobbies and interests? Since we have so little (none) information on what they like and what they really would do outside of villainy.
well, according to their profiles... “nothing” asafjias
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I remember writing my fic, Butterfly Effect, and struggling to give Dabi something to do outside of his apartment. I ended up making him take a nap, LoL
ok but taking a few artistic liberties, I could come up with some ideas now.
Dabi
- I have the hc that he likes reading. He's very well spoken for a guy who dropped out of school at 13. He knows how to use keigo (the most polite manner of speech in japanese) and he showed off his ability to use yojijukugo, which are kanji compounds that express complex concepts. So I headcanon that he reads a lot. His desk is full of books in that one panel we see him on his pc so I’m taking that as validation. Bnha smash hinted at the fact that he is familiar with ancient japanese poetry, so I like to think he received a traditional education, but poetry is something he actually came to like. (In my fic he and Rei read foreign literature too as a middle finger to Enji’s extremely strict tranditionalist views)
- Sewing. This one is half-serious but have you seen his edgelord coat from the PLF arc? I don’t know if those are supposed to be staples or stitches but either way he’s very hardcore about sticking to his aesthetic. If he didn’t run away from home and became a villain he would’ve totally had a punk phase. Sewing isn’t exactly a hobby, more of a skill, but I like to think that spending as much time as he did surviving on his own, he picked it up to fix his clothes or to extend their life, you know? And somewhere along the line he became good at sewing and now he kinda shows it off. His outfit is the only one out of the League that shows personal touches
- People-watching. This one is just me projecting but. Look, he’s just really good at getting a good first read of people. People-watching isn’t an hobby, per se, but I can imagine him developing the habit as he laid low for all those years. He’d be sitting in a far-off table at a seedy bar and he’d just observe the other patrons, figuring out who’s waiting for a date to cheat on their partner, who’s a salary-man looking for a one-time thrill, and who’s just there to pickpocket drunk people. And then maybe he’d get so good at it he’d start making bets with other patrons. Alternatively, I can just see AU!Touya sitting at a park, listening to music with his headphones as he watches the busy life of his hometown walking around as he just chills.
- Maybe it’s cause of his looks, maybe it’s cause music is a substitute for therapy for a lot of troubled people, but he strikes me as the type to have extensive music knowledge. This fits more for an AU setting Touya since I doubt he cares much for that in canon. but I can see him blasting music in his ears to quieten the thoughts in his head. I can picture him resonating with the lyrics of this or that band, and be picky and taunting towards music he labels trashy or uninspired just as how he’s picky and taunting towards people he labels as lacking “covinction”. He just. Is a perfect fit for a music snob. It’s not surprising that there are so many musician!Touya AUs, really
Shiga
- Okay he’s a lot more challenging so I’m taking the easy way out and mentioning video games first. A pro gamer like him probably has a twitch account and follows all the good gamer youtubers. I can see him cursing out fanlore sites or those websites that collect tier and equipment guides for being incorrect or not up to date because that strikes me as something he’d do. maybe he even mods some.
- Comic books. We know that AFO bought him action figures and books as positive enforcement for Shigi’s murderous behavior, but he wouldn’t have wanted him to get too smart (or god forbid, develop critical thinking), so I think the books shown in his room were actually comics. I wonder what his favourite genre was.
- Strategic tabletop games. He didn’t get to play them often since he was always alone growing up, but the League definitely played monopoly at some point. Risiko was banned when Compress kept replacing the original dices with his own rigged ones, winning one game too many and making Shigaraki pulverize the table and scatter all the pieces everywhere. Legend has it that Dabi caught one under his bare foot once and the ceiling still bears the scorch signs of the fight that ensued
ok I’m gonna stop it there because this is growing less serious by the minute and also because I have no more ideas lol

Could I ask about the venty shigadabi fic that's coming? Is it a continuation of the recent oneshot you wrote?
Yesss y'all can ask! It'll probably help us actually finish it. I started it a few weeks back and another alter picked it up and now I'm trying to finish it.
It's in the Paper Bag series, yeah, and like, another snippet of their relationship ig. I dunno how to summarize it besides it's basically centering around retraumatizion and Tomura taking pictures and videos of Dabi during sex without his consent. It basically sends Dabi into an episode and makes him age regress and have conditioned responses to it cause, like, fucked up enjitouya hcs, and Shig starts kinda sharing them without him wanting him to by making it his phone's lock screen as a "well, i wanted to show you off" fucked up kinda thing. Like i said before we makin them hella toxic in this but not only in a "yeah there's a clear power imbalance and abuse goin on" kinda way but also a "they're both fucked up and don't realize how fucked up this actually is" kinda way. It's definitely gonna be mostly dead dove shit with trauma bonding, domestic violence, conditioning, etc so like def might be too dark for folks who like more lighthearted shigadabi stuff, but if you're looking for toxic and unhealthy look no further
A lotta this series I'm drawing inspiration from songs, so like the series in a whole is kinda planned to match the vibe of "Paper bag" by Fiona Apple. The recent fic to the series I drew some inspiration from "Diseased" by Baby Bugs. This WIP has some "Put Me In A Movie" by Lana Del Rey vibes to it. I apologize for being cliche, but I love song fics.

Dabi + cinema
CONTAINS MANGA SPOILERS
A/N: I personally absolutely adore the cinema and think he would too. This is mostly word vomit as to why I think he does plus some cinema date hcs in the end
Taglist: @serowotonin
Dabi overall loves places that are dark
he doesn´t like to be seen unless it´s necessary
the cinema is perfect since it´s loud too and the smell of the sweets overshadows his stench
as a child he used to sneak into cinemas a lot, especially when Rei didn´t look after him and his father was at work
it was like home to him, the staff let him in every time since they already knew his situation
he felt so comfortable there
as he got older he snuck in after closing time to sleep there as well
that was after he ran away from home for good
his first and only paid job was at the cinema too
he would clean up after closing
nobody had to see him and he was busy, a good distraction from his thoughts
Dabi is such a cineast it isn´t even funny anymore
he watches so many movies and so many different genres as well
his favorite are the indie dramas and trashy horror movies
at first he got really nervous about the other people in the room
he always sat in the right corner in the very back, that´s his spot since he doesn´t disturb anyone there
he´s surprised when someone starts a conversation with him about how the back has the best seats since nobody disturbs anyone there and it´s like a own world
Dabi wants to run away however he doesn´t. He stays and makes some new friends
friends he only sees in the cinema, people like him who don´t ask questions, who don´t judge, who just enjoy a good movie or laugh about a bad one together
this is the family he always wanted
also: Dabi never eats anything, but drinks water during the movie
he hates it when people munch loudly next to him and misbehave
he once almost got kicked out for starting a fight with someone who took off their shoes and socks and put their gross feet on the seat in front of them
he´s also the type of guy who you hear “shut your phone off, dickhead” from
just another reason why I love him so much
anyways, cinema date hcs:
he takes you to a sneak preview in his favorite cinema
everyone knows him there, it´s nice and comfy, a small cinema where only the cultured people go and you can avoid annoying teens who want to watch the new superhero movie
pays for any drinks and snacks you want cause yes, he is a gentleman (you´re the only person aside from his friends that he tolerates eating noises from)
he greets everyone and introduces you to them
the sneak preview crew are like a little family, they´re always the same people, every Wednesday night they come together to watch whatever movie
it´s super chill and you immediately feel welcome
before the movie starts they tell you fun stories about the last movies, about the weird people that sometimes came in and talked to themselves, the people who left during the movie since they couldn´t bear it anymore (because either it was too splattery or just too dumb)
you can immediately tell how comfortable Dabi feels and it brings a smile to your face
the movie starts and it´s one of those painfully bad, unfunny romcoms
everyone sighs, Dabi just leans back and grins
now the fun´s about to start
everyone starts laughing at how bad it is, commenting on some scenes, everyone´s talking about it while it´s happening, people are shaking their heads and sighing in disbelief
the usual Wednesday night Dabi wouldn´t trade for the world
it´s so peaceful, he feels understood
this is home

Would mind writing hcs for dabi and kai with their s/o who got in car accident ? No thing scarry. Just a broken leg and an arm ? How they would treat her ? During most of their times ? Eating changing clothes going to the bathroom for their bussiness walking showering etc (bounce if they have kids and you know they have to take care of them as well) how they would deal with them emotionally ? I mean it really makes feel useless & hopeless when you can't do anything. Being a burden to them 💔.
Tumblr media
Literally the one who threatens the receptionist of death if they dont allow him to see you.
Usually he wouldn't be very much concerned and is already offering to use his quirk on you.
Gets actually pouty when you deny it.
Since he has a lot of people, subordinates, he doesn't worry much but still he takes the cleaning duty because asides from you, no one can reach his high standards.
Treats you like a porcelain doll. If it is a broken leg he is carrying you over the house.
No touch him? Pffff-!
Doesn't let you do even the simplest tasks.
"Kai I can feed myself-" "Nonsense. Say ah."
Very instruct about your recovery.
If you both happen to have kids... Lord help him.
"CHISAKI KAITO STOP THAT THIS INSTANT YOU BRAT-!"
He is panicking.
And his kids get even more fussy and crying because the bastard doesn't allow them to "disturb" you on your recovery.
One hour he does give up and let his son and daughter look and get all cuddly with you.
"I can draw on your plaster mommy?" "Kaito no it might-" "of course baby!" "😑 for real (y/n)-?"
Tumblr media
The one most chill yet panicking.
Invades the hospital by entering your window and oop! You're in your apartment again. The doctors almost called the police if you hadn't call the hospital to tell you were fine.
He isn't like Chisaki but still very careful and just a bit instrict. But not as much.
He knows you can still do basic things but still will offer you to do it. Bother? Bother is Endeavour not you-
Says screw to the league because he is staying by your side until that thing gets out of your arm/leg.
He cant cook for shit but pls still eat. He worked hard for that, and what manners is the thought not the taste.
Eventually you guys ask take out so dont worry.
If you both had kids he is handling her/him/they pretty well actually.
If you need to rest he is distracting them but eventually cabe in to their pleading eyes and spend some quality family time, which he is finally having it.
He is along drawing pictures with his kid on your talon and let his daughter draw on his face, on the parts that are not scarred, as well.
"Daddy is a pirate!" Rei spoke as Dabi made a nonchant 'yarr' back at you before he scooped you up in his arms when you started to giggle.
Still is very attent to his kid near your broken limb because he wants you back and healthy.
"Cmon now Rei. We will be letting you rest doll." "How about some movies instead?"
Rei and Dabi dont enjoy seing you on a plaster but due to that it made both you and Dabi to stay more at home. So the little one is joyful while Dabi feels at ease and peacefully with you and his daughter along.

*Watching an adorable Tik Tok on a relationship with Touya HC’s
Comments: “I feel he would be straight up toxic.” “He didn’t bother saving Twice.” “Just because he faced trauma doesn’t mean he should be a killer.”
Me: Y’all, your good/bad victim complexes are showing. Now excuse as I proceed to bang my head in a wall from your stupidity (don’t get me started on the Twice comment, tell me you don’t have reading comprehension without telling you don’t have reading comprehension)
Plus, there are people out there thinking he would be straight up abusive like his father with Rei. I don’t see that, looking into Touya he wouldn’t seek a relationship in the first place, but if he did I don’t think he’d be as bad as people think or as toxic. Sorry for the rant, people are bloody irritating
Answer cont'd 2/2: (Oh, and to add on from the ask I sent regarding Tik Tok… don’t forget the “he is a smelly bacon man” 🤢 Gotta love people making fun of scars and invalidating his trauma. People also forget these are fictional character and not real people but people can’t seem to separate fiction from reality and think your into real life murderers as well making you an awful/weird person (to clarify, I am not into real life murderers. It horrified me to learn Ted Bundy has a fandom)
I totally agree with what you have said anon. 👍
As much as some people like to paint dabi as toxic, abusive and or a misogynistic gaslighting rapist who plays with his partner's feelings.
They don't understand his character. He's far from that.
Hey remember the part in the broadcast that dabi practically called out his dad forcing rei to have kids for his goal and enji basically confirmed it in the press conference? Not I want to argue but even if it was coerced that still doesnt make it ok, that's still bad. Dabi knew his mother was a victim of his dad's ambitions as much as he is and his siblings. That pretty much confirms his views on abuse.
In canon speaking terms, having a relationship is the very last thing on his mind as he's focused on getting revenge on endeavor for the abuse he inflicted on the family. And not to mention he pushes people away to keep his fire from overtaking him.
Like as I said many times that his emotions are linked to his fire and he feels intensely. And twice's death confirmed how dabi felt towards him. Dabi was hellbent on making hawks suffer. And defending twice internally when trying to save him over Hawk's statement that twice was just unlucky, calling hawk's standards screwed up and before dabi knew how torn up twice felt with hawks double crossing.
With those statements on Dabi's and shigaraki's scars, it's disgusting and completely ableist. Look I don't care if people are joking. It's in bad taste in my opinion.
I stay away from both twitter and tik tok over those statements and toxicity in those platforms of the fandom. Mha twitter is covered in bad takes, incest and pedophilia fantasies and art of the kids with the adults. Look I don't give a shit if you came at me defending over that type of 'art' and people put their heart and soul creating it. It's still disgusting. ❌
And the final statement over some people on this fandom who go after the villain stans just for liking them and making metas explaining or analyzing their behavior and actions is not even being a 'murder apologist'. But hey go ahead and excuse the guy who abused his family for 20+ years and yet to do anything about it and the other guy who murdered someone in the name of 'heroism'. But hey, what am I even talking about right?
Anyway just because we like characters that tend to do bad things, doesn't even mean we like actual murderers who killed innocent people and have their lives robbed from them and hurting the people who were close to that person. Please learn how to separate fiction from reality.
And I think those people should actually go use that energy to people who actually support real life serial killers and dictators who committed genocide and don't care over what happened to the victims of the killers but hey let's go after people for liking fictional villains cause they are considered the worst right?
Sorry for the long response, just wanted to share my opinions on it and I agree with your statements strongly. Have a good day or night anon!

todoroki shouto angst idea w/ recent manga spoilers so don’t read unless:
thinking of shouto who comes out of the war & the touya drama feeling undeserved of love. his entire life without his consent has been thrusted into the limelight.
shouto has always been an independent person, making choices that he deems what’s the best, and in the end what does is always up to him. the situation involving his family and endeavor has always been up to him to decide on what to do, hence one of the reasons why he confided to izuku about it. he’s not ashamed of his fathers past, nor is he someone who fears word of it getting out, but the fact is now he has no control over the situation which to me is horrific.
he now has to face a future he didn’t choose & it doesn’t end in his favor no matter how I look at it.
he will probably have to be the one to answer for endeavor in the end. if endeavor takes to long to wake up to answer the demands of the media because there’s more drama if they come after him instead of his siblings or mother.
so he either lies about endeavors past abuse or he tells the truth. if he lies, well, I don’t think he would be believed. the scar on his face and the fact his mother is in a mental hospital recuperating speaks loudly that the public can no longer ignore. if he says yes, i’m sure, just like some of you have and hc, will ask why he still chose to be a hero. how can someone who knows that heroes are ass still want to be one? will they look at his past and find people who only knew him as this cold, unreachable individual?
he has no control over his past now because how dabi broadcasted his families darkness to the world. maybe shouto wanted to one day expose endeavor to the world, maybe he didn’t. but now he has no say, now he can do nothing but accept that there will be shame and whispers in a pitying, negative way for the rest of his life or for a long time period.
SO NOW THAT YOU KNOW MY SCRAMBLED BARELY PUT TOGETHER THOUGHTS HAHAHA HERE COMES THE ANGST:
shouto is shunned by the public.
no matter what he does as a hero, no matter how far up the ranks he gets, the world holds him at arms length.
no one wishes to sponsor the son of an abuser who despite it all holds the dream to follow his fathers footsteps. that means to the gaze of the world that shouto is nothing but an endeavor 2.0 and his fast rise to the number 2 spot makes the sirens in their heads scream.
sure, class 1-a are still his friends, and so are camie and inasa, but they’re all pro heroes now. they aren’t able to fight off the media after 12 hour shifts or intense media on what they think of shouto’s personality. no rant, no screaming match, and no anger filled comment from deku, dynamight, creati, ingenium, uravity, or any loved pro hero can ever get the media to stop their scornful looks and comments. the public doesn’t trust shouto either, and slowly but surely, everyone who becomes associated with shouto is seen in a bad light.
rei lives in a fishing town now, unable to live in dense cities because she was continuously harassed and hounded. fuyumi lost her job, no one believed she had a right to be around children in case she snapped one day. natsuo was expelled from his medical program, his promising future was only temporary it seems.
and you?
by god does shouto love you. you were one of the only people who didn’t shut him out, see that he left, made sure you cut the threads between him and you... but he sees the way the bags under your eyes grow as your job fires you yet again after finding out about your relationship with shouto, he sees the strained smile when yet another company denies your job application despite your outstanding credentials and experience because they can’t be having their name tainted by the endeavor family. you never let that be seen by him, but shouto is observant and seems to be always watching.
shouto loves you more than anything and he can’t express how many times he’s stared at engagement rings through a smudge free glass window that shone brightly, each band screaming to be placed on your finger. but he doesn’t. he won’t.
instead, shouto realizes that despite his best efforts, he’s no good. he won’t stop being a hero because at the end of the day he’s still saving people, still making the place better even if no one will admit it, but he can’t be your villain.
shouto smiles painfully, barely large enough to curl the edge of his lips as he brushes a strand of hair out of your face.
“I love you, a lot,” he confesses, the beautiful sunset sky suddenly feeling colorless and bleak. “but I keep holding you back, I keep making your life harder.”
the instant shift of soft love and adoration shifts to something cold, worried, and heartachingly sorrow.
“sho, you know that—”
“I know... but you had dreams too, dreams that never needed me. I can’t hold you back, not anymore.”
needless to say todoroki shouto broke up with you that day despite your broken sobs and pleads that you didn’t care about the damn world. the world watched in secret as todoroki shouto broke your heart not knowing that with the death of his most important relationship, they would accept you back whole heartedly, and of course they would never know that since that day todoroki shouto never truly smiled the same again.

Maybe, if you want, since you’re bored could you write something, like hcs or a Drabble where the reader is always super exhausted cause Dabi keeps making surprise visits at 1 am and everyone thinks it is so cute when the reader falls asleep on the couch, like a child who burned themselves out. Please
They obviously knew what was keeping you up at night. Or, at least Rei and Enji do. They have access to the security cameras in your room; they see their eldest breaking into your room every night.
They almost reinforced security and made you sleep with them, but when Rei saw how subdued her eldest was (how he used to be), she convinced Enji not to. She made sure to look back at the recording the next day so that you were safe with her villainous eldest, but they didn't tell you they knew about your little visitor.
Because of your little visitor, you're more tired and docile. You regularly snuggle up to whoever is close by and doze off, not getting enough sleep. Sure Natsuo is concerned, but when you softly snore on his thighs, he silences his worries. This is better for you. Much, much better.
And besides, Touya would get in anyways. No security system could keep him away from seeing the one Todoroki who doesn't look at him with pity.
I did this on mobile so sorry if there are typos. I probably won't come back to fix them lmao.
