Alastor had always been fascinated by your hair.

Husk didn’t really pay much attention to your hair.

He’s never had long hair so while he recognizes that you’re hair has to be long to be put up, he doesn’t process how long it probably is until he sees it down.

He actually brings out his wings so he doesn’t step on your hair as he helps you gather it back up.

He didn’t know hair could be so heavy.

“If you need any help with it. I don’t know much but I get that caring for things you can’t reach can be a fucking pain.”

He gestured to his wings. If you want to help him, he’ll help you

Lucifer

He just stares.

You look absolutely beautiful.

He flushed, absolutely gobsmacked.

Later, he’ll go up to you and offer his services for hair styling if you would like to use them.

He actually finds the process rather calming.

It reminds him of when Charlie was a child and he’d braid her hair for her.

The sessions become a bit of a bonding experience, sharing stories and gossip as he braids and styles your hair.

He just raises an eyebrow.

He might instinctually run his fingers through it.

He just wants to see how long it is, he swears.

After god knows how long of pining, Bradley and Jake finally got married and decided to have kids :3

Lil things about Caroline and Nicholas Bradshaw-Seresin (yez, Bradley is so the guy who is gonna take the name of the love of his life)

I think judgin by the fact Bradley literally like a clone to his father, the Bradshaw genes is running quite strong... (Jake loves it so much later on in life for he can see so much of his husband in his children)

Caroline takes after the Bradshaws a lot, with the curly brown hair and whiskey eyes, high crooky nose, but she has Jake's sharky grin, which comforts her dad's ego a little bit...

Nicholas, on the other hand, is just like a mini Jake (Jake's mom approved), except that as he gets older, his hair slowly turns dirty blonde and went completely to dark brown.

Soap and Gaz that likes to play with and style your hair (>_o)*

At first it started when Soap noticed how you always kept one or two hair ties on your wrist. Whenever your in the middle of missions you’d tie your hair up, away from your face. Or to keep your neck cool from the heat.

But sometimes you’d forget to take a hair tie and end up irritated with the wind blowing hair in your face. Huffing and groaning whenever hair poked your eye or got in your mouth. Soap tapped your shoulder to get your attention.

When you turned around Soap had his arm up, showing that he kept a hair tie for you. How sweet!! But before you could open your mouth to thank him he spoke, looking slightly hesitant but in a curious way.

“Can I do it for you?” Soap asked, worried that he sounded silly or weird for asking. Of course, you had no problem with it so you nodded and faced your back to him. He slid the band over his fingers and started to bunch your hair into one place.

Soap tried his best to try and get your hair into a low ponytail so he would mess up in the middle of it and would get frustrated. Gaz noticed this and decided to step in, noticing how wrong he was doing it.

“Let me do it. Your getting it all uneven” He sighed, Soap stepping aside, feeling slightly embarrassed and defeated. Gaz was surprisingly very swift and clean when tying your hair together. He didn’t pull too hard or leave any pieces of hair out.

“I could’ve done it” Soap grumbled.

“I was just warmin’ up” He made up an excuse, which sounded much more stupider when it left his mouth. Making the two of you chuckle and Gaz roll his eyes.

After that, they both started to play with your hair more frequently. Whenever you sit between the two they’d both take a lock of hair and start to braid it. Gaz actually knew how to style hair very well. He knew all of the different types of braids, how to do it, and the most popular hair styles for youngens your age. But regardless, he still likes to just play around.

Once during free hour, they both sat at either side of you. Gaz was guiding his comrade at how to do a french braid, while he simultaneously braided his side. You ended up with french braid pigtails, a little wonky and uneven but still pretty.

Soap remembered something, the idea popping in his head after he looked over his and Gaz’s work, and ran outside. Both you and your comrade looked at each other slightly confused but also in amusement. When he came back he had a handful of small flowers. Where the hell did he even get that? Maybe plants that grew between the cracks of the cement.

You felt like Rapunzel in that scene where the town children braided and put flowers in her hair when the two soldiers started to decorate your hair in flowers and colorful petal.

“What the hell?”

They all turned to see Ghost walking into the common room. Seeing two hard and assertive men playing with their teammates hair like they was an American Girl Doll.

For the curly hairs, Soap’s favorite hairstyle to play around with his low pig tails, he likes how fluffy they look and how overall pleasant it is to look at when he’s finished. He likes keeping hair in the front, like your bangs (if you have :3) and the face framing strands.

Although sometimes you’d let out a little ‘ow’ when he accidentally snags a lock when he’s combing his fingers through your hair.

His favorite it accessory to add to your hair is still flowers, but he likes to mix it up sometimes, with small crystals or gems. Even after every hairstyle he does, or Gaz helps him with, he ends up always twirling one strand around his finger.

Gaz on the other hand likes a more bolder style. The half up-half down, top buns. He likes how flowy and busy it looks, not too boring or too much. But he also really likes just a high bun or ponytail with face framing pieces. He likes how beachy and casual it looks.

Gaz does the same thing that Soap does, playing with a single lock. At first just to mess with you, but now he does it unconsciously, feels the need to keep his hands busy.

Beauty Day Headcanons for the First Class SOLDIER boys!

A/N: I have always imagined the 1st class bois doing a beauty day with their S/O cause why not? They're beautiful. 💅💄

♡ Sephiroth♡

-Let's start with skincare. He's not that into skin cleansing with creams and whatnot, but will definitely put on a face mask, especially if it's Moogle or Chocobo themed.

-He will allow you to put on some eyeshadow (see pic above, not mine btw) and maybe some foundation, but lipstick is out of the question because he risks getting it on his hair.

-LOVES to have his nails painted, especially black and white. I mean come on. Why do you think he wears gloves? It's to hide his shiny, glittery nails from everyone. Paint his nails for him once and you'll find it turns into a tradition. Every weekend, you two end up sitting at the kitchen table, painting each other's nails different colors, trying out new patterns and designs. Too bad his nails have to be kept short so he can fitght or he would have long-ass coffin nails by now.

-You want to brush his hair? By all means, go right ahead! Sephiroth is a living Rapunzel; to have a beauty day and not play with his hair would be to miss out on a golden opportunity. He loves it. You love it. Everyone's happy.

-What about hairstyling, you may ask? Well, he is in EUPHORIA when you braid his hair (it's soooo relaxing) and likes to have you help him tie it into buns, pigtails, ponytails and whatnot. At the end of the day, he ends up looking like a really big, muscular kawaii girl. ✌️🩷❤️✌️

☆Genesis☆

-LOOK at this man. A total pretty boy. It's likely that you were introduced to beauty days by him, and that he dragged you onto the makeup/skincare/shiny things bandwagon.

-Will wear literally anything you want him to, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, facemasks, cleansers, you name it, he'll let you put it on his face. That can be interpreted many ways, don't sue me for your dirty minds

-Fingernail painting? He's fine with it, but he's more into pedicures because his hands get scratched up more often than Sephiroth's do.

-When it's time to paint the footsies...hoo boy. His toes are very ticklish, so you have to pinch 'em just so or he'll be wiggling and giggling, and then his feet will end up covered in nail polish and there'll be a huge mess in general.

-Like Sephiroth, Genesis enjoys getting his hair done. He'll let you wash it, style it, tie it up into little pigtails--he's basically your living Barbie doll.

-All in all, beauty days with Genesis are lots of fun. Sometimes you guys turn on a rom-com or drama and do each other's hair while watching it. ❤️

■ Angeal ■

-Aight, this man is different from the rest. He's not that into makeup, but he will don a little blush and guyliner if you ask him to.

-Angeal's preference is skincare, believe it or not. He wants the whole package, face masks, cleansers, lotions, hydrating soaps, etc. Being in S.O.L.D.I.E.R. means you have to leave for missions often--you don't get much time to maintain your skin. As a result, Angeal is now a skincare addict and relies on you to teach him how to use the products properly and help him establish a solid routine.

-Bonus points if you buy him one of those cute headbands to push his hair back. Imagine seeing your beefy boyfriend parading around the house with bunny ears and a pink sheet mask. Adorable.

-Another thing he enjoys is massages. Yes, you read that right. Coming home from an exhausting mission and being met with a warm bubble bath and then a relaxing massage? That's his kind of heaven.

-Also wouldn't mind giving you a nice full body massage as a reward afterwards. What did I tell you about double meanings, like jeez ?

TWST Dorm Leader reacts to you having Ridiculously Long Hair

A/n: Im listening to the Rapunzel soundtrack. Y’all know the drill time to write a headcanon based off it. I’m also running out of ideas so this is going to be quick and short. Also Merry Christmas to anyone who celebrates it! My gift to you!!

Context: Basically the Dorm Prefect has long hair like Rapaunzel.

He knew your hair was long…

But he didn’t think it was this long.

You usually always had it braided up in one big braid and it practically dragged behind you wherever you walked.

He was the one who suggested to help you wash your hair because since it was dragging behind you in the floor it was getting quite dirty.

Watching you unravel your hair from you braid and seeing more hair come fall out of it… it was quite a fascinating sight to see.

How do you managed to do your hair everyday? Especially by yourself!

He suggested that you should perhaps cut it so it can make your life more easier.

Quite surprised at your sudden deny, he sighs knowing that there will be no used in trying to persuade you. He decided to help you out.

With only two of you the process of washing was going to be a long one. So he ordered Ace and Deuce to come over and help using the washing a sort of punishment for them earlier for breaking the rules.

After a few tangles, whining , complaining and even more de-tangling. You all managed to get it done!

Riddle decided to give you a schedule on when your next wash day should be so the next time you do it he can come over and help and use another of his unlucky students that needed punishment.

At first he didn’t understand what was taking you so long to finish your hair.

You had promised to meet up with Azul as the Monster Lounge and well. It’s been 30 minutes now and you haven’t appeared yet.

So obviously he sent Jade and Floyd to go retrieve you but when they suddenly come back empty handed and wide eyed at the sight they saw. He had to go check it out himself.

Opening the door, he was immediately greeted by a long trail of hair that lead all the way upstairs to your room.

Was… all of this.. your hair?

Now he knows what was taking you so long. You were basically brushing out an entire ocean of hair.

He decided to cut you some slack for being late for your meeting with him.

He suggested on cutting your hair but you refused profusely and asked him to just help you braid it back up.

He agreed to help speed up your process. Getting Jade and Floyd in to help along with some of the students he had made contracts with to help you out.

It did speed the process up but it did take the entire day.

He still thinks it would be better off if you just cut your hair. But he decided to wait until the opportunity was right and perhaps.. make a deal out of it. Maybe he could sell your hair? But alas that would be secret future plan for when the time comes.

He didn’t mind when you asked him to help brush your hair.

He assumed it looked difficult to maintain it due to the huge braid you wore.

But oh my…

This was extremely long.

Oh he’s going to need all hands on deck for this. He had his work cut out for him.

He called a emergency dorm meeting getting all most of the Pomefieore students to help out.

How were you able to manage this all by yourself?! He’s completely in shock and even impressed you have some dedication to keep your hair this long.

Not only that. You kept it in such good condition. It was soft, silky and quite easy to brush through. Little to no knots. He’s very proud of your management.

As much as he loves how long your hair is... He does recommend cutting it.

Obviously you refused the suggestion. But Vil wasn't going to take no as an answer especially if you had no reason behind it. He's already showing you many different hairstyles at different lengths.

Still refusing all of his suggestions. He sighs and leaves it alone for now.

The main priority right now is to brush and braid everything back into perfect order.

Once the session was done. He added little accessories to your hair to make it pop out more.

Despite the very long process, he quite enjoyed himself and having this little time with you.

Next time you need some help with some brushing, give him a call. He’ll gladly come help out again if he has the time.

Twst Loop Theories/Analyses … (Mostly of Leona Oji-tan's)

Savannaclaw’s the deepest and most mysterious theory I have translated tbh... 

This time it’s ALL of the people that are from the Savannaclaw Arc (Even Cheka!)

Jokes on you if you haven't dissected the op like I have. We (as players) have made a contract with Azul :3

Leona is an important person in the Loop Theory, aka Rapunzel theory. And one way is by looking at his hair.

Leona’s hair is brown, unlike Scar’s black mane. Most characters have a main villain base and other characters as a sub-base. Leona’s is Scar main and possibly Kion as a sub base. (more on that later in the bottom) But a lot of characters have more than 2 bases so what if the base is in his looks? 

Leona’s hair is brown with braids. So, in the Disney’s franchise there's only one specific person, or princess that would fit this description. Rapunzel. These two have a lot in common if you look for them.

Leona is 20. Rapunzel is 20 by the 3rd season of the TV series.

Like I said, looks Rapunzel did have brown hair as well as green eyes. When she has long hair in the tv series, she did braid her hair sometimes. But in the end she did cut her hair again, like in the end of the movie. So Leona might cut his hair in the end. (I will miss his hair)

The Fairy Gala had lilies in Leona’s SSR. In the movie, there are similar lilies when Rapunzel gets out of her tower.

And the buddies of his card are the light trio, Rook, Silver, and Kalim. All three of them have a part that is based off of the ‘good’ characters.

His tarot card is the tower; if the tarot card theory is true, then it does fit in with the description. Especially the part that Rapunzel was trapped inside a tower. In the story Leona (Rapunzel) is trapped in the tower (NRC)

Both of them also share a similar power (kind of not but). Rapunzel has a power that is called the “sun drop”- it came from the sundrop flower. The power of the “Sun Drop” can help slow down aging, heal, and as well as recover what was once lost. Leona’s power is King's Roar. His power “dries up the opponent and turns everything into sand”. (I don't fully believe it because of my last post but this is this) We are going to assume “in the end” it will become sand.

In the world of Rapunzel. There is a stone called the “Moonstone Opal”. This stone is the exact opposite of the “Sun Drop”, and it- kills and takes away life. In the 14th episode of season 2, Rapunzel finds an old scroll and chants the “Reverse Inaction”; it makes the animals decay and the people around hard to breathe. This was only the first half of the lyrics so the power of destruction was probably not complete. Half of the lyrics can kill, but unlike Leona’s power, it can’t fully destroy the shape.

Cassandra, the daughter of Gothel, did use the powers (her hair and eyes became different) and if she touched anything they would decay; like Leona’s powers of drying the things he touched after using “Kings Roar”. And in the end of season 3 Rapunzel did absorb part of the Moonstone Opal’s powers. 

So what will Leona do in the story? If you look at the prologue 0-0 in the end title you’ll notice it either

turns to sand 

or the fire went out.

In the movie of Rupunzle the antagonist, Mother Gothel (Evil Queen is the motif), and in the end, she loses the power of Rapunzel’s hair and drops from the tower and becomes dust leaving her robe behind. I did say this before of him being “The Tower” card. But what if in the end... He uses his magic and makes the person/thing Crowley revived into sand?

(Personally I think there's a chairman or someone that Crowley will revive. Mallenoa? IDK, there's a person or something I think)

But before the soul disappears, Crowley flies into the mirror and uses his magic to rewind time, which is what might happened, and he tries to find his “Happy ending”

But Leona doesn’t lose his memory, and the Messiah, Lilia, is probably the one who knows and is teaming up secretly. It was especially suspicious when Leona purposely overblotted, which I think, was because of Lilia’s words....

It would make sense if it was the fire going out, because it can also ties in with Rapunzel. Leona is probably going to break the loop with MC. 

I did say that Leona does have chess pieces in his room that tie in with the Light trio. (below)

Rook: Rook Hunt’s name

Knight: Silver thinks he has a talent for a sword and “silver sword”. Also Malleus’s knight

Pawn: Kalim is a pawn to Jamil (He tried to use him to become King in the movie and in the arc)

Also, Leona would be the “king” chess piece 

And Leona’s best subject is “ancient curses”, like Rapunzel he can use harmful ones, like his unique magic too. What if he knows a spell that can “go back in the past? 

If he did It would make sense why his memories aren’t lost. So in conclusion Leona is the Rapunzel trapped in the tower called “Twisted Wonderland”

But other than the pieces what gave away that he is the traveler? 

Something with Azul’s contracts and the scar on his eye is still not clear. But, first let’s look at his name.

Kingscholar can be seprated into King (ruler) and Scholar (a specialist in a branch of study). Scholars usually point to social sciences, or humanities. These branches of study study the human values and how they express the feelings; they require knowledge from phycology to history. If the word “scholar” is in his name, then it can be reasoable to think that he may be “observing and analyzing a person or a thing” 

Leona’s best subject is “ancient curses”, and he is good at protection spells as well as pharmacy (the study of medication). Those do require a lot of knowledge to be good at. Why would he need to repeat the grade if he is so smart?

On Youtube (とろちゃんねる), Leona broke the loop in between his second year and third year. 

In the 4th arc, Mickey’s third remark in the dream is the reason the number “3″ is really weird, almost incompatible.

Leona is 20 he’s in his third year for the third time (if the loop theory is true). If I am correct then the time MC came is when the “3″s (triple)overlapped. He also asked how many stones Grimm ate after the third arc.

This is where Jack’s origin comes in. Jack most likely originated from the author of “White Fang” (Jack London), but there’s more. In my other theory, I said that the MC’s body is not there, that Jack may be referenced from the TV show of the Lion King, Lion Gard’s, Ray-ray. In the show, they defeat Scar, who died and came back to life. Maybe this is also a clue...

In a personal talk, Savannaclaw was talking about the King of Beasts (or whatever they called it). People usually thought “Oh, it's about Scar” but, it's not. It’s not Simba or Mufasa either. It's not Kion as well. If I summarize the traits of the king they were talking about then it becomes like this:

He ruled with his power and fangs, and rejected his older brother to become the king in an attempt to great a good country with wisdom and order to change the affiliation of the strong bullying the weak

The King of Beasts does not discriminate 

“The King of the sky that guides the stars” was called “firefly” and “Great King from the Past”

The nephew of the king was not at the king’s coordination ceremony (Leona and Jack’s conversation)

Leona’s scar on his eye and the King of Beast’s scare are the same. But, Leona avoided answering the question when Ruggie asked him when his scare was from. (Ruggie and Leona’s conversation)

The anecdote of the king; he can apperently talk to hippos, giraffes, lions, and monkeys. (Jack and Leona)

The hornbill, who served the royal family, noticed the change in the country and gave their opinion to the king of beasts infromed. The king is very considerate and king and listened to the opinions and advice. (Ruggie and Leona)

Most of it is describing Scar 

but 3,6,7 are far from matching him.

3 is taking about the “ The King of the sky that guides the stars”. This description is very fitting to “Roar of the Elders” from Lion Gard. Yes, there is a time where this kinda happened in the main story. (also Leona’s unique magic is referenced from “Roar of the Elders”

6. We do have a hippo friend in “Lion Gard”, but not any other animals in the original ones. (The giraffe is missing)

7. the Hornbill is Zazu from lion king, who does serve the royal family. He is present from the original “Lion King” and is with Kion in the show. Something seems off to my guts.

“Why are they favoring Kion?”, you may ask. But Kion and Scar have a trait they share. They are both second born. Also Kion’s roar becomes the strongest; there is a story when he got the cobra venom in his eye and became violent and couldn’t control his power. His scar is as the same as Leona and Scar’s left eye. In season three you see Kion with two lines as a scar on his eye.

In conclusion, what the Savannaclaw students were talking about is either “Kion” or “a lion other than Scar and Kion”.If it is Scar the King, number 1 explained, then the flow of the story is too convenient.  It’s also unclear if it is Kion as well; if it's the conversation after season 3 then I would have no idea. 

 The Key part is his Tattoo and Azul’s contract (Bet you didn’t see that coming) 

In “Lion Gard”, the guards all have a tatoo. Leona does have powers and has a tattoo on the same left arm (technically) as Kion. But unlike Kion’s, the tatoo is a different color. We’ve seen this shade of color. Yes, it’s the same as Azul’s ink. 

(Pull out Azul’s Dorm SSR, after Groovy)

We can’t read the contract, but Lin Channel (on YouTube) is doing gods work and translated into actual words (English cursive) it reads:

Let me explain how she’s doing the work, Google (yea, teachers) She looks up people’s hand writings and can conclude things (the long curve after “i” may be the ending “ing”) But, if I clear it up and make it normal English it would look like this:

This is just my thoughts, but “brother and nephew” may be Cheka and Leona’s brother, which would be reasonable why such a minor character like Cheka got voice acted. 

Winter could be meaning Hades, who kidnapped Persephone and made winter. So, maybe Idia could be the key to our victory here. And this would expain why Savannaclaw was between Ignihyde and Diasomnia 

Winter could also mean Cheka and Leona’s brother’s heart. They could be lonely (Grim asks Leona about his family, and Grim replies with “They must be lonely, being in a dark cold place” or something like that)

I’m sure that Leona made the contract for Cheka and his brother. He is the only character with a nephew. The tsun-dere side of Leona would explain why he didn’t want to tell anyone about what the contract is about.

Just by the contract and the loop theory we can tell that he is important. But what if he is not based off of Scar... But rather, Kion from “Lion Gard”? If I look into the original characters of what Leona is based off of, then I would forget about “Leona”. Yana Toboso is twisting our brain like that, such as in “Black Butler”, and maybe thats another reason why the game is called “Twisted Wonderland”

So what we all we know about Leona is:

Leona’s tattoo

he is aware of the loop or he is suspicious of the loop

Jack’s position (We don’t know as much as I would like about his power)

Cheka will appear again (he does get Voice acted, and maybe that’s what the second arc will be about. He also said something about having a fiancée so maybe an event?)  

Leona overblotted instead of Ruggie (my other theory)

I do think the tattoo may be made by Azul in the other loop, and he is aware of the loop or will remember of the loop because of the tattoo 

But it is Yana Toboso sensei so... I may be wrong~

Prologue: A lesser demon devoted to Diavolo noticed the changes in the prince after the demon brothers entered Devildom. Some thoughts:

Maybe the guitar music as the major instrument for this film has to do with the origins of Rapunzel from the Mediterranean?

The Royals might still have the sun plant somewhere. You replant, you “dead end” the flower to make soup, you continue to care for it with hopes it flowers again. Did that show up in the tv show anywhere?

Useing a pan to fight is a very traditional fantasy trope. Usually reserved for a side character, but still very present. Tangled just brought it out into the common zeitgeist.

Mother Gothel is the worst for many many reasons. Today’s realization- she never braided Rapunzel’s hair. It would have been easy to start when she was little and teach her how to do it herself. It would have meant tripping over it less and spending less time on brushing. You can even keep a long enough tail for brushing while doing the song. She didn’t. Why? Because it was another layer of control. It means it is harder for Rapunzel to leave. It means Rapunzel feels like she is cared for when Gothel brushes it during the song. It keeps Rapunzel “clumsy,” a reason Gothel gives not to let her leave. Or maybe Gothel is just lazy and neglectful. Either way- as someone with super long hair? I hate that woman.

Meanwhile- the Royals never gave up on thier kid coming home. It’s not just the tradition of the lights. It’s that crown. Baby Rapunzel wears that crown in murals. They had that crown sized up, EVERY YEAR, as thier child would have grown. They thought about what she would look like if she showed up tomorrow. They didn’t just recall a baby once a year and mourn. They planned for her to return. That hurts. 👑 💔

Realization after that one- Flynn you absolute RAT. How could you?!

Unintentional side effect of Rapunzel hauling a person up the side of the tower everyday- your girl has impressive upper body strength. She could toss a full grown man into a wardrobe. Gothel… much like keeping her birthday on the same day, your laziness has been turned against you. 😂

The Chameleon has not been out of the Tower any more than Rapunzel, he just has a deep distrust of Mother Gothel. ( proof is in him insisting they check Flynn for pointy teeth😂) I am so happy Rapunzel had that. It’s also even funnier to watch his reaction to everything after your realize that 😂

Dad- “Did you know one of the brothers is Ron Perlman?”

Me- “How could you not? Did you hear the voice?”

Later question- did the other one ever speak??

Flynn is BRUISED. Smacked with a pan, stuffed in a wardrobe, fingers jammed in a door, lands on his face, bashes himself in a fight several times, then is crushed by rocks while trying to escape drowning. Realistically, that song is the only reason the man is able to walk rather than limp into town the next day. 😂

“And you’re still gonna go back?” The girl stole his retirement (his dream, really), and has been a constant irritant since he met her, but the moment he knows the real situation she’s in, he is concerned for her happiness and freedom. He still doesn’t know how bad her mother is, just that she’s been confined. I love him so much. ❤️

And that gives her the confidence to tell her mother “No!” He didn’t even say any more than that. Haveing someone care for you when you are in a bad spot is SO IMPORTANT.

And then-! Just walks out of the wood and sees her standing a little too still. “Hey, are you ok?” 😍

This girl has never seen a horse in her life. And she does that. Seriously. That is a big beefy horse. I like horses, and I would be so much more cautious. Rapunzel knows no fear is all I am saying.

That man has spent time with children. He knew exactly who to ask. He LOOKED for them. Love that continuation of the backstory from the orphanage. Character continuity at its finest.

That dance music has become the sound of joy online. That is beautiful.

They showed the father grieving, and the mother comforting. That is so HUGE, I don’t even have words to explain.

I think Pascal wanted to see the lights almost as much as she did. 🥹

“At Last I See the Light” might be up there as one of the best Disney love songs. ❤️🎶 It is just such a perfect display of who the characters are, how they are changing, and why. And of course the imagery is soft, warm, and iconic. Just Beautiful.🤩

He really stopped caring about the life he dreamed for himself since he was a child. Idk if that says something about how in love he is, or something about how he always cared more for people than gold than he thought he did, but either way, I am still in love with this man ❤️

Omg- she embroidered her own dress. It’s such a small detail, but I love it. She learned all the cottage core crafts, didn’t she? 🥰😆

“It was the old lady” = her mother will do anything, including put her in danger, to keep her imprisoned forever. He is so real for making that connection so fast. Street kid knows what is up, and he will not stand for it. I honestly think he would have gotten her out even if nothing romantic ever happened, and that, at the core of it, is why I like him. 👍

Just- the sheer bafflement of the guards and Flynn alike in that entire escape scene 🤣

Maximus- don’t get this twisted. I am here for the girl.

Actually- now I want to know, what did the horse see that led him to lead an escape mission for his enemy? Did he follow Gothel to the tower? I am intrigued.

Just in case we weren’t convinced, they actually had her “kick the puppy.” 🥺

In revenge, Pascal is like “Nah, we ain’t waiting for her to die of old age.” Ruthless. 😈

As a thief and orphan/street kid, it completely tracks that he would see the life Rapunzel was made to live and equate it to death. I mean, it really was slavery. Imprisonment to ensure services. He was willing to die to keep her free- it is very Old School Hollywood Dashing Rogue of him, and again, I love it ❤️

Omg- Flynn Rider. Errol Flynn. I am a dummy. How did I not make that connection before?!

The king had the grief scene, and the Queen greeted her first. That feels so different from other movies.

They didn’t make her a carbon copy- Rapunzel was clearly her kid, but a younger version with a different chin. The designers put in work, and they have my respect.

That chuckle is the only spoken line the King has. Interesting.

The king is so soft. Big cuddly frame, soft pull into the hug, willing to immediately embrace the young man who brought her home as well. Who designed these men???

“I want something that I want” is currently the theme for my D&D character, and I suddenly am understanding it in the context of this movie. When I first heard it, I thought it was selfish, and it didn’t make sense to me. No- it’s not.

She has never been allowed anything of her own. He has literally had to steal to not starve. This is the feeling of being allowed to want for the first time. No wonder he was so good at helping her through things. It was probably very similar feeling when he first left the Orphanage. 🥹❤️

I imagine this song hit pretty hard for some scared and controlled kids out there. 🎶 Honestly, this whole movie was such a strong example of manipulative abuse, and I am so happy it exists. They clearly put in the work to make it truthful, and it must have helped so many people realize what was going on in their own life. I think every creative hopes to tell a story that connects with people like that.

A heart that bleeds ink (bleeds lives)

(I don't know English, so anything sounding strange is Google Translate's fault) I want to get worse. I saw a post, at some point, of a collage made with a painting and the faces of Danny, Dani, Dan and even Vlad, saying something about Clockwork having commissioned a painting and such, and that causing confusion, giving the impression of a Targaryen type case going on there. If anyone recognizes it, let me know, I want to read it again. Either way, it got the hamster wheel in my head spinning. Raise your hand if you've watched Barbie Rapunzel. Anyone who watched it, or has even a vague knowledge of it, probably knows about the magic brush she used to paint landscapes that acted as portals to different places. Well, I say that the Infinite Realms have ectopaint, which absorbs the emotion the painter is feeling and translates it into a painting. Because you are translating impressions and feelings rather than an exact memory, there is some artistic freedom in interpreting the paint itself and how you decide to express that on canvas. Which can lead to some unusual and confusing scenes, case in point, Dora introduces Danny to her art studio and encourages him to paint as an outlet and also as a way of dealing with his traumas and unprocessed feelings. So he gives it a chance. He pours his feelings about Vlad, Dan, Ellie, the failed clones, even his newfound promotion to royalty, into the paint, and then watches as the brush transfers that mess to the canvas. This results in a picture that puts him on the verge of hysterical laughter, or a complete emotional breakdown.

There's Danny, in the dead center of the frame, or he assumes it's Danny, sitting on something he can't see because of the fullness of her skirts. Yes, skirts, because he is wearing what appears to be a dress, white, voluminous, with lots of ruffles and lace. A waist too small to not be cinched into a corset, ruffles at the neckline giving the illusion of a bust, and shoulders exposed due to dropped sleeves. Numerous necklaces adorned the expanse of her slender neck, effectively covering her Adam's apple with pearls and a teardrop-shaped diamond, almost as large as her thumb, hanging down to rest in the space between her collarbones. His hair is much longer and twisted into a hairstyle so elaborate that his scalp aches in sympathy, a diamond-studded crown sitting on top. Danny looks otherworldly, unreal, in the frame. Also uncomfortable and confined, green eyes suspicious, desperate, as they looked to one side of the painting, to where Vlad was depicted, his red eyes very satisfied, expression like a cat that ate the canary, full of pride, arrogance and a sense of very familiar possession. Between Danny and Vlad stands a child, a boy, maybe ten years old, red eyes familiar and venomous as they look at Vlad and his matching red eyes, it's Dan. One of Vlad's hands rests on one of his bony shoulders, too small for his weight. that seems to rest there, and Danny's free hand grabs his opposite sleeve, closest to him, fingers gripping in a white, desperate grip, wanting and failing to completely remove him from Vlad's grasp. On the opposite side of Danny, where there is no Vlad or Dan, is a little girl, with his eyes and hair, who can only be Ellie. So small, how old is she there? Her hair is twisted into a much simpler version of Danny's hairstyle, half tied into a crown of braids adorned with diamond-headed hairpins, half falling loosely down her back, her small body tucked into a lacy white dress. Between Danny and Tiny-Ellie, half hidden by their skirts so that only one of their eyes is visible, is what looks like a much smaller version of Danny, the same coloring, the same familiar face, and a tightness in her stomach. identifies him as his smaller clone, if he looked like a child slightly younger than Tiny-Ellie. A little in front of Tiny-Ellie, looking a little older than her, was another boy, with the same green eyes as Danny, but black hair, and a skin tone closer to Vlad's blue than his olive green. Danny, that had to be his muscular clone. At Danny's feet was a baby, old enough to sit up on its own, maybe even crawl, but hardly walk. His hair was white, his eyes were red, and his skin was as clear as milk. He looked albino, like those rabbits with white fur and red eyes, and Danny knew exactly who he was supposed to represent. The clone with the sheet.

There was a bundle of cloth in the crook of Danny's arm, with a tiny face peering out, a newborn baby, small enough to be quite possibly premature, strands of white hair peeking out from under the cap pulled over its tiny head, green eyes squinted. The Prime clone, Daniel. There was someone positioned behind Danny, hands resting on his bare shoulders, not possessively, but protectively. He looked like how Danny looked when he was Phantom, and at the same time he didn't. There was a distinct sense of otherness, of foreignness, that let Danny know it wasn't him, despite the shared resemblance. It wasn't just the breadth of his shoulders, the superior height or the abundance of muscles, while Danny was still a stick in both ways. Nor were his eyes, one familiar green, the other purple. A familiar stranger, and as Danny tried to figure out who it could be, he felt, hands resting on his hazmat-covered shoulders, familiar and foreign, and looking back he found the same figure depicted in the painting. A shared look, of understanding and recognition, and Danny knew who it was. A representation of the Ghost Zone, who he had been inadvertently linked to since a portal to another dimension opened upon him.

Otherwise known as the Genmui Rapunzel au.

Long ago, a drop of moonlight on a misty night fell from the sky and produced a magic flower called the blue spider lily that was said to have healing properties.

A notorious man named Kokushibo hid the flower and used it to retain his youth and beauty. Centuries later, the flower was taken by soldiers from the nearby kingdom of Corona and used to save their pregnant and ailing Queen, who gave birth to a son with teal hair, named Muichiro. Kokushibo snuck into the castle and discovered that Muichiro's hair had inherited the flower's magic, but turns brown and powerless when cut.

To keep the flower's magic, Kokushibo kidnapped Muichiro and now raises him in a hidden tower in the woods. Each year on their daughter's birthday, the king and queen release sky lanterns hoping they will guide her home.

Meanwhile, thief Genya Shinizugawa, steals Muichiro's intended crown from the palace; to prove to his older brother who abadoned him that he was useful. He is then relentlessly pursued by a infamous guard-horse brothers named the Hantengu. Genya discovers and takes refuge in the tower, where Muichiro, of course knocks him out with a frying pan and hides him in a closet. When Muichiro attempts to show him to Kokushibo as proof she can defend herself, he forgets (because its of couse) and Muichiro instead asks for a sword as a gift, sending Kokushibo on a three-day journey.

Genya then reveals himself again, causing Muichiro to nearly knock him out once more. Some further suggestions, with the understanding that the primary motivator here is Eliot's Glorious Hair jokes:

Replace every "I dated a ____" with "I read a book about ______." (Yes, he's taught himself a lot of martial arts moves from books.) Keep the Very Distinctives, just limited to things he has looked up or seen out the window.

Eliot gets the improvised frying pan weapon. Parker picks up an anachronistic taser at the bar. Hardison has no weapon at any point, except possibly a tiny little letter opener dagger that he keeps trying to threaten people with and no one cares about

The hair song is now country music.

Replace "they never get the nose right" with alternately Hardison bragging about his forgery skills/Parker complaining about her identity being stolen

The group of kids who braid Eliot's hair are those little girls he taught martial arts in gym class in that one episode. He still teaches them the same here.

The people in the bar who sing about their dreams can involve a bunch of Leverage clients maybe? Definitely Hurley is one of them.

Hardison is the Da Vinci of fairytale land. Possibly replace "age of the geek" with "age of the inventor". Possibly he is responsible for Parker's anachronistic taser. (Possible backstory involving no one taking a chance on his inventions so he has turned to stealing to get the money to make his best design into a reality in order to earn money for his family.)

Parker's backstory of having made up her identity can be tweaked to Archie backstory, but no dramatic name reveal (that's for Hardison admitting his real name). She's Parker, just Parker.
