“You have a lack of compassion against James Somerton!!!1!” No, I have a lack of compassion against people who routinely steal from marginalized authors (and before y’all get on your “but he’s gay!” excuse soapboxes, he was caught stealing work from trans authors and authors of color who have it WAY harder in life than he ever would), spread mass amounts of misinformation, idolize nazis, misgender trans and non-binary people, contribute to bi erasure and then cry victim when called out on it, and believe that the people who survived the aids crisis are the “boring gays”. Not my fault James happens to be that kind of person; in fact, it’s entirely his fault. He continued to make these deliberate choices, and not only that, but is now trying to claim he had no idea his plagiarism hurt people and that they should have just marketed themselves better. Yeah, I have no compassion at all for that noise.

Still can't get over the Windwheel Asters in T.homa's birthday art. I used the Windwheel Aster in my Thomarina anniversary art (I know in game he also gets a Windwheel Aster Bouquet in his hangout event but-) I did that unintentionally bc I thought their colors fit the scenery and they're really pretty flowers!! Idk I just love that Mondstadt still remains an importat part for T.homa ;v;

Midnights thoughts about Cale's death
What would happen after Cale's death?? Would the world be destroyed by Raon? Where would the ancient powers go? I supposed that would be in his most beloved things, but exactly where? And would the same happen with his abilities as Record or Instant? Would Alberu or any other dark elf absorb Cale's dead mana? What about his grave? Or would his body become part of the nature as dragons do?
I'm having a crisis here

Listen.
Do I think that Elain and Azriel are the best together out of all possibilities? Yes. Yes I do. I stan them. I feel all books have worked on building up their foundation and I feel their relationship is sweet af.
Would I burn the world down if Azriel ended up with Gwyn? No.
Would I toss a brick through a window if Elain ended up with Lucien? Sure would not.
Do I adore Gwyn? Yes.
Would I ride Lucien like a stallion? Absolutely.
Does the Elain/Azriel/Gwyn/Lucien war in this fandom make me want to punch myself in the face? You bet your ass it does.

I started watched 9-1-1 about a week or so ago and I just finished season 3 and I just needs to get some thoughts out about Abby's return.
It was disappointing. I honestly liked Abby as a character in Season 1 and as much as I thought it was really shitty of her to just book a plane ticket without telling Buck, I understood because she was grieving. While the ghosting was a little ridiculous, I get the writers were just trying to find a way to "end" the relationship. What I didn't understand was why the writers decided to bring her back for the season 3 finale for her not to give Buck the proper apology he deserved because he did deserve it. He waited for months, hell years, and while they had the episode of him sending the letter saying he can't wait anymore, he never got closure. This was a chance to give Buck the closure he deserved and instead they decided to go with the route where there is no apology and it seems like Buck is the problem?!
"Because being here, being with me, you might lose yourself again?”
“Yeah.”
How is it fair to Buck who was nothing but understanding and loving in the wake of Abby's grief to be told that being a good boyfriend and person was what would cause the person he loved to lose herself?! That being himself would drag Abby down instead of lift her up? Where's the closure in that?
I just cannot fathome why they decided to go this route bc it really soured Abby's character for me. That scene also just makes me so upset because Buck as a character deserves better. He deserves to know it wasn't his fault. That he did everything right and he deserves to be loved for being him. To be chosen.

Kinn is Not Good at Anything
I know that I am one of the minority here, but I don’t like Kinn. And it’s been bothering me, but I think I finally figured out why. Feel free to disagree with me, but just know that nothing you say will change my mind. I’m not going to like Kinn unless things start changing.
Kinn never actually tries. At anything. Ever. And how can Kinn be good at anything if he doesn’t even try? The most I’ve seen him try to do anything is when he’s sleeping with Porsche. But even then, Porsche is not in a position to say no to Kinn. In fact, he really can’t say no. So how often do you think Kinn pays attention to what Porsche likes in bed? If I were to guess, I’d say Kinn is a selfish lover, but I have no proof of that so I’m going to take this point off the table entirely.
In episode 9, Kinn doesn’t even try to make up his own mind about his people. Tawan’s back? He listens to his dad. Porsche acting weird? He’s listens to Tawan. He doesn’t even try to understand why Porsche might be weird about Tawan. Kinn can’t even see the OBVIOUS jealousy written all over Porsche. Not once in his relationship with Porsche has he had to lift a damn finger. Porsche is carrying the entire emotional labor for that relationship. Porsche planned the date. Porsche seeks out relationship advice (that he has to lie about his whereabouts to receive but that’s a different post). Porsche is the one that has been initiating sex. Porsche is the one opening up his heart and his life to Kinn and starting those conversations. Porsche is constantly trying. He wants to make it work despite all of the odds stacked against him. And Kinn has contributed nothing to the relationship so far except for his dick. I get Kinn has trust issues, but that doesn’t explain why the hell he can’t even notice Porsche trying so damn hard and Porsche being jealous when he’s smiling in a lighthearted way that Porsche has never seen and standing next to his ex.
Kinn doesn’t even have to try to be the leader. At least not right now. He seems to always just listen to what his dad says. Which is fair, his dad is the leader, but Kinn doesn’t put forth any effort towards one day taking on that mantle. He can’t even make up his own mind about his ex he thought was dead. He needed to have a whole discussion with his dad and Tankhun to even reluctantly make a decision (side note: everyone should listen to Tankhun’s instincts when it comes to who is trustworthy).
He let Vegas handle the issue of who kidnapped him (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he was recovering from being shot). But even after that, he doesn't even try to understand why Porsche would talk to Vegas. He does realize that as a bodyguard, Porsche can’t exactly tell Vegas to fuck off the way Kinn can, right? Or has he not thought about that at all. Porsche can’t tell the minor family no. And Kinn doesn’t even try to see why Porsche might want to talk to Vegas. Kinn knows Vegas is a snake, but what reason would Porsche have to take Kinn’s word on that. Vegas has put in work and time and effort to be nice to Porsche. Kinn has told Porsche the way things are but hasn’t lifted a single finger to actually explain it and show it to him. And let’s not even get into Porsche’s abysmal training. Did ANYONE actually try to train Porsche in how to be a bodyguard? Because it sure as hell seems like Porsche trained himself.
Kinn didn’t even have to try to earn Porsche’s forgiveness. He showed up, listened to Pete’s advice for 3 seconds and then immediately got him and Porsche kidnapped. Then all he had to do was keep them in handcuffs and force Porsche to be near him and to see the other side of him. Again, all of that was Porsche’s effort. Even them surviving in the forest. All Porsche.
Kinn just lets everyone else around him put in all of the effort and all of the work so he never has to actually think too hard about anything. I would like to see Kinn at least try at something, anything. But right now, I’m not seeing it and it’s annoying. He’s supposedly smart. I’ve never met a smart person that didn’t have to at least try. How is Kinn supposed to lead the mafia when he can’t even make his own decision about what to do with people that have betrayed him in the past? How is Kinn supposed to lead the mafia when he can’t even trust himself to put any effort into anything.

I've just began The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles fifth case, Adventure of the Unspeakable Story.
And already the beginning has blown my mind!
There's a tale that Herlock Sholmes doesn't want published?
Who is this suspicious gentleman who wants to steal from a pawnbroker and frame Gina Lestrade for the theft?
These items from the pawnbroker are related to Magnus McGilded, and they have to be seized by Scotland Yard?
I believe there's one conclusion I can come to, for certain.
There is going to be a huge conspiracy in this fifth case and this is just the tip of the iceberg.
I have a theory that Magnus McGilded faked his death and he's a mastermind behind whatever conspiracy this is.
Or perhaps he's like another culprit in the series (Morgan Fey comes to mind) where he planned on what should happen after his death and someone is carrying on in his stead. (Like some sort of criminal last will and testament.)
I can't wait to see if my theories are correct! But if not, they will be interesting what-ifs to think about.

I'm gonna share this with the public
Gary deserves to have a "I like myself and I like my life" moment
He deserves to wake up in his bed in the Monarchs house and go "I'm home" and mean it and be happy about it
I want him to look at Sheila and Monarch and feel nothing but love for them, and love for everything he has and is now
After everything he's gone through he deserves to be happy and feel content with his life.
He needs a moment of causality where he thinks "I love them, I love where I am, and I love myself"

Everyone is so focused on EJ being jealous of Ricky because of everything with Nini in S1 and Gina in S2 and it makes me sad that his character has been reduced to that. yes, Ricky "stealing" the girls from EJ (or however you look at it) is an important part of EJ's character build up and it plays into his insecurities but I don't think that's the biggest/only reason for the tension between them, there's a big chunk of the show's storyline for EJ that I feel like everyone is overlooking: It was EJ's senior year, the last high school musical productions he'd ever get to be in, and Ricky got the leading male parts in all three shows (also EJ didn't really get to audition for Frozen bc he has to direct it).
In season 1, he was soooo excited for HSM and he had spent a lot of time preparing to audition for Troy, his heart was set on that part and he even talked about how he thought he was the perfect Troy, and he was so confident about it. And then Ricky swoops in, not knowing anything about musicals, having never even seen the movie and having no understanding of the character, only auditioning to impress Nini, and he gets the part EJ wanted so badly. EJ has to be content with being the understudy and then he ended up reading Miss Jenn's casting paper to see why she didn't think he was good enough to play Troy and it was kinda mean tbh (and remember, after he read it he started really trying to be better) and I feel like everyone kind of put him down that season. He was so happy when he got the chance to go out as Troy on opening night but then he ended up supporting Ricky, building him up and telling him he was "the better Troy" and that he deserved the part. In season 2, it's the spring musical and the last musical of EJ's high school career! and we know from season 1 he really wants the lead part, and we find out about his dad's expectations so I think it's fair to say he also wanted to impress his dad and show him how talented he is, but at the same time, I feel like he just wants his moment in the spotlight that the others have gotten, he wants that validation that he is capable of playing the leading man and get it right and just that validation and confidence....but again, Ricky gets the lead, and EJ has to play the villain (don't get me wrong he was the perfect Gaston and I am not mad about that). In season 3, he's so excited to have all his Wildcats at camp with him, and have a great last summer; he and Gina talk about how they hope to be the leads together and it's EJ's last chance to have that spotlight leading role moment bc this is the last theater production for him to be in unless he gets onto Broadway or goes to a performing arts college. And EJ can't even properly audition for it bc he's been forced into directing it, and Ricky got the lead again, as Gina's love interest no less- and Ricky doesn't know the show well again and he casually jokes about it to EJ. And throughout all the seasons, EJ just puts on a happy face and supports everyone else and lifts them all up and helps them out; he's happy for Ashlyn when she got the lead, he's happy for Gina when she got it, he's even happy for Ricky. Even though the girls get to be upset when they don't get the parts they wanted, EJ is expected to just accept that he's not a leading man.
I mean...just think about it. EJ puts in all of this effort into being his best, he spends so much time understanding the character and rehearsing and preparing to be the best he can possibly be and Ricky, who puts in very little effort, doesn't know the character or even story/what the damn show is about, and doesn't really know that much about theater or acting just waltzes in and gets the lead three times in a row. (this also applies to the love triangles as sort of a metaphor in a way) Nini, Ashlyn and now Gina and Kourtney all get their time to shine in the lead roles they always dreamed of but didn't think they'd ever be good enough for but EJ has to suck it up and be happy for them and cope with the fact that this is his last show and he never got that big moment he wanted (despite the fact that he's basically a cookie cutter of the perfect leading man).
edited to add: yes, I do realize season 2 EJ chose not to pursue being the Beast bc he felt he was too busy with preparing for college and pls excuse my mistakes in this post/incorrect facts, it's been sooo long since I've watched the first two seasons so I went off what I thought I remembered when I was writing this post (so yeah, I'm a clown & I'll be the first to admit it but everyone who follows my blog already knows that lol). My mistake aside, my point is still the same. EJ has put in a lot of effort throughout all three seasons- with Nini, with Gina, with auditions, with all the shows, and he also went out of his way to atone for his past selfish actions (even tho he stepped back in s2 and worked on himself) and Ricky swooped in having no idea what he's doing and has effortlessly (if you're looking at it from EJ's POV- not trying to villainize Ricky cause I actually adore him) gotten everything EJ has been working hard for handed to him. In the present season it's not just that EJ is noticing the clear romantic tension between Rina, it's that Ricky is having the summer that EJ wanted to have- having fun, spending quality time with Gina and the other Wildcats, playing the leading male part alongside Gina in the show, enjoying EJ's camp friends (and becoming friends with all of them), participating fully in all the fun traditional camp activities and doing all of this with a carefree, Hakuna Matata attitude while EJ is literally about to combust from stress. It's as if Ricky has replaced him. (again, looking at this from EJ's POV). this is just a thought I had that I wanted to share bc I have seen so many posts about the love triangle and nothing about the other stuff so I apologize if I haven't articulated it in a way that makes sense but hopefully this clears some things up. I still think he should get his time to shine though bc he hasn't really gotten that in the show yet.
Also even though EJ was initially presented as being overly confident and kind of cocky, I always personally thought they've made it obvious he, like the other characters, has a lot of insecurities about himself and the cocky attitude is kind of a façade to hide that from everyone else. And considering how hard his dad is on him with all of his high expectations, I think EJ has probably spent his whole life putting in maximum effort to be the best at everything and acting confident and cocky bc it's how his dad wants him to be.
