His room is a cluttered chaotic mess of things. Are they all his things? maybe, maybe not, that room could easily be messy because he's keeping things within reach so he can easily make a nest out of all that stuff when the need strikes.

He saw two scared freshmen and decided "imma adopt them" and then did. He's more in touch with how people are feeling, and able to comfort them without being too overbearing or pushy, emotions may be tricky but he's really good at the soft ones that make people feel comforted when they're upset, he's good at being silly to make people laugh. He's soft.

He's touchy, and struggles with keeping to personal space. He bundles up in layers upon layers for comfort rather than preening and dressing solely to look good.

While he's loud, and expressive, he's also very quick to hide in a corner when shit gets real scary, pls someone protecc him.

Steve should be an alpha in my own opinion because:

He has followers. People who crowd around him just to bask in his popularity. Not people he adopted, just people who want to be him, want to be like him. King Steve. He has natural charisma. He's a presence that stands out.

He's a tank of a human being. He takes hit after hit after hit that should definitely take a person out but he just keeps coming back.

He's a caretaker in bed, protective, and comforting, mf held Nancy's hand good lord, yet he's still in charge, he's on top.

His pack adopted him, yet they still look to him as the protector, he wasnt adopted like a beta without a pack, he is an alpha, they didnt have an alpha, he's now their alpha.

He makes sure he looks good, his hair is always on point, his skin looks good, his body is always in good shape (soft but the type of softeness hiding those muscles that make you bite your own fist), he's trying to impress people, omega's dont need to impress, they need to be the ones impressed.

He doesnt seem to need a lot of material possessions, doesnt have enough clutter or personal belongings to make a nest, and he doesnt seem to put much thought into keeping other peoples belongings either.

Like i know we like to HC that the vest is in Steve's closet, but if it was left upto Steve, it's absolutely been left either in that RV, or in a random corner in The Warzone. One of the kids might have grabbed it after he left it, but if Steve was on his own? It's gone.

His whole arc with the oversea is so autism coded (with not understanding things everybody else around him thinks is common knowledge even if it’s never been explained to him before). But ALSO HE TOTALLY HAS INTRUSIVE/IMPULISVE THOUGHTS he canonically has ‘blasphemous’ type thoughts (wanting to steal lemons with his friends even if it’s against his oath), plus there’s NO WAY he doesn’t have violent type intrusive thoughts about hurting his loved ones NO WAY. plus his overall stubbornness of not letting go of his oath and general struggles with change is so so so autism coded of him.  ~ Autism and OCD Gillion is literally so autistic. He misses social cues and is easily deceived. He also hates lying and is overall a very honest guy! he repeats certain phrases like ‘it is my destiny!’ which are actually vocal stims cause i said so. Could all of this be explained by him not having a childhood and never learning anythning other than fight? yup! ehehe ive actually been thinking about this a lot lately!!! some of the details are subject to change but ill share what ive had in mind thus far

youre basically right about tally and kip, still not settled how they get into the bounty hunting profession specifically but tally left because he was miserable and kip followed bc he loves him (also because he is desperate for adventure ehehe)

roy works a shitty on-site engineer/technician job at a machine rental service which she is entirely overqualified for. she follows technology-related news and tinkers with little contraptions at her family home.

one day she hears about a certain missing android, which catches her attention. there is little precedent for a report like this, and the details released to the public dont make sense. she decided her next project will be finding this little runaway. not to turn it in, just out of sheer curiosity.

bax is a human, fucking miserable. its not like his life is particularly bad. his family are upper middle class and love him. he does fine in school. he just hit the genetic lottery with mental illness in addition to being a huge egg ahah. when hes around 16 he tries to kill himself.

to his utter chagrin, he wakes up. he wakes up in a strange place, his hair is longer, all his memories are foggy. it must be a hospital, but its no hospital hes ever seen before. for one, there are no other humans. no other earth creatures he recognizes, for that matter.

the nurses and attendants have skin of cold steel. synthetic voices, synthetic faces, synthetic hair.

one of them, he builds a rapport with. this one is strange. instead of being exasperated with baxters constant badgering, quippingz and questioning of the attendants, he is intrigued. he even asks baxter questions in return.

the android begins sneaking baxter little treats. snacks, better food, little toys. in exchange, bax talks his nonexistent ears off during every second of its free time. he nicknames it clam chowder.

this of course, does not go unpunished. this robot has a job to do. codes to abide. their time together is subsequently limited, clam is assigned to a ward on the opposite side of the building. this sucks. clam desperately wants to leave the hospital grounds, see the world, bax doesnt know what he wants other than that he fucking hates being at the hospital and he likes clam, so hell help him at any cost.

they come up with a plan for escape. and they gtfo.

from here, everything gets hazy. my plan is to start with the first mission all 5 of them go on and work backwards, fleshing out the events that actually bring the rest of em together :3

maybe kip is a mailperson who meet roys parents by chance and end up agreeing to track her down for them accidentally, before roping his con artist nephew in, idk!

Guys I've experienced another ✨thought✨

I've been thinking about my siren oracle percy hc and I just got major feral percy vibes for some reason??

Anyway I've decided to add another hc on now.

So what if percy migrates too?

Maybe while he still didn't know he was a demigod, during a particular season he would always have this itchy uncomfortable feeling under his skin and this strange longing to go somewhere but he didn't know where so he was just stuck with this uncomfortable feeling and insatiable wanderlust that frustrated him to no end.

And then the events of the first book happen and he goes on the quest and he gets the lighting bolt back and the olympus scene happens and yadda yadda yadda. but at the end of the scene when Poseidon and percy talk Percy just randomly blurts out that he feels uncomfy as hecc in this particular season (I haven't decided which season yet) cause he gets nervous and his mouth works faster than his brain. And then Poseidon just smiles and tells him to get in the sea when that happens and there's that.

So when the time finally rolls around, Percy hesitates a bit but ends up jumping into the sea anyway because of how crappy he felt AND HOLY HERA THE WATER FEELS DIVINE (heh divine) and his instincts just take over and he just kicks off and swims far away and it's the best thing he's ever felt in his life.

And during his first migration thing he grows more feral. Inhuman even. His teeth turn into wickedly shap fangs (curved backwards for holding struggling fish/prey), his nails transform into claws, his legs meld into a tail with deadly serrated fins, and his instincts grow even wilder. When the migration period (which I imagine is like 2-3 moths) comes to a close and he swims home he still has all those feral traits.

And now CHB has to deal with this terrifying siren feral Percy which is somehow even worse than the random siren songs that are sometimes prophecies thing.

Until Sally furiously prays to Poseidon and threatens to castrate him if he doesn't give Percy his legs and logical reasoning back. So now Percy can switch between having leg mode and tail mode and can think a little less feral now. (He's still feral tho)

Imagine situations like this tho:
