Happy Holidays to all who celebrate! This is a poem about Elvis’ giving nature. I hope you enjoy! ❤️

I wonder at what point you knew this gift of yours existed

Your ability to create happiness and ensure spirits were lifted

At the housing projects with your guitar, sitting on the steps,

Could you possibly have comprehended what would come next?

That, nervous and shaking, you’d get up on that stage

And perform like a tiger loosed from his cage

That electrifying voice caused so much elation

Bringing the happiness in people’s souls out of hibernation

From that day forward you made it your goal

To give of yourself from the depths of your soul

From blues to country to gospel, your music was a balm

And anything you had to give burned hot in your palm

Your time, your money, your friendship, your love

You considered having so much to give as a blessing from above

So you gave and gave, sharing your love with each and every fan

Until the giving began to wear you down as a man

Your star burned so bright and so strong

I suppose it was inevitable that level of brilliance couldn’t last too long

The irony is that, though your human life was cut short by so many days,

Your legacy lives on in the most extraordinary ways

There’s no adequate way to describe the amount of joy you bring

That all started with a young man determined to sing

Determined to entertain and bring happiness where it had been lost

You never took into consideration the personal cost

You sacrificed so much of your well-being and health

All so you could give us the gift of yourself

I know you enjoyed the ability to share your talent and spirit

I’m so grateful just for the gift of being near it

Danny is going to Gotham for his scholarship.

Good news! There's another halfa in the city, and he seems to be a good guy. Bad news: the nearest path to his university is through that halfta's haunt. He could take the long way around, but the costs would be more than his budget can handle, and he'd like to avoid dealing with a pissed-off Red Hood.

Hopefully the offerings will be enough to sate his annoyance (and help maybe, god that man has the most malnourished core he's ever seen).

I'll put a bell on him'. #Its stated that *all* the yunmeng jiang disciples had a clarity bell. Which is 1) funny to think they all wander off at times 2) owwww #Also extra 'Owww' the audio drama adds with this scene is the weight on how wwx never got to give baby JL the bell he carved as a gift #That little bell can hold so much significance to so many aspects of these character's lives. #'Clarity' as an adjective here is also pulling some fun weight.
