Back to Rebel Moon for a second because, when I saw this...

...I immediately tried to decode the inscription since I love a good challenge and deciphering secret messages or fictional alphabets in general. In fact, even before I saw this post, I knew the companion guide existed and had already decoded the font (the 31 characters available on the website, at least). The script used to write the secret message on the Bone Staff is not the same, though, but I was more than happy to try to decipher that too!

Well, less than 24 hours after this post/tweet, I did it.

I decoded the message.

And from what I’ve seen, I may be the only one so far.

Part of me can’t wait to share what I found and explain in detail how I found it because it was a cool riddle... but the other can’t help but hope to get some kind of “official recognition” for this achievement before revealing what the inscription is… even though that will most likely never happen 🥲

Hello, im wehaveagathering from my main blog, im kind of obsessed with your hockey poetry edits and I think your blog is great! I guess I kind of have a dumb question, where do you find the images you use for your edits? Did you say Getty in your tags?? I’ve gotten into making icons recently (and i have ideas for poetry edits hrrrghhh) but it’s hard to find high res images. Thanks for your time and I hope you have a nice day :)

first of all thank you so much 🥹 and second that’s absolutely not a dumb question!! i do pull a lot of images from getty and i’ll also download pictures from sports articles (i got a lot of the hugheses pictures from online access articles, for example), or sometimes from instagram/facebook/twitter if an account is public. freely admitting that i am not technologically advanced? inclined? in the slightest here, but the image editing software that you use and how you import/export photos with it makes a difference in the quality of them as well!

if you haven’t seen them yet, i would also recommend checking out @simmyfrobby @national-hockey-lesbian @hauntedppgpaints @tapedsleeves @starscelly and @captainbradmarchand’s blogs just off the top of my head!!! they might know more places to get high res images and also i love their work 💕🫶

as usual i am up late into the night planning my future when i should be: getting a good nights sleep so that i even have a future!!

#personal #I called out of work today on a ‘family emergency’ basis and traveled all 6 hours to come home to my family today #I found out that my family dog wasn’t doing well health wise and I’m really scared about losing him #and I know he’s really old and all but I really am glad that I was able to come home and be with him for a bit #we’ll go to the vet tomorrow morning and have him looked at but it’s a really bad tumor on his leg #it developed really quickly and he can barely stand up or lay back down and it’s really heartbreaking to see #anyways. yeah probably won’t be active for a while
