Simon and Tommy had a complicated relationship as brothers.
At a young age, Simon basically wrote himself off as a lost cause, and did the best he could to make sure at least Tommy had a chance to be a functioning human being. After all, Tommy was the gentler brother, the dreamer, the one who looked like their mother (who'd walked out on them years ago to escape their father). But Tommy got bitter, got sick of the one always being protected, being babied. He lost respect for Simon, for the way he wouldn't fight back, and in a twisted way, grew closer to his father as a way to learn how to be powerful, strong. It backfired, and Tommy got wrapped up in some bad business.
Simon's kid brother died while he was deployed. He got the news in the letter, and it broke him in a big way. In the story timeline, it was years and years ago but it still hurts like hell whenever Simon thinks about him.
This yo man? Yea, same. He's actually my favorite guy out of the Tadc cast
Gentleman, sweet, and caring to his cast, buut a little cuckoo and wacky in the head. Also can we talk about how he call the cast "My little Superstars" and "My dear"? Golly I could talk abt him for hours
“Damn. I would have never guessed that Kate winslet plays Ronal. The CGI makes thre na’vi characters look so different from the actual actors.”
And as much as there is SOME truth in that statement, the CGI in the movie is extravagant.
But, I had to disagree.
Because I think that the na’vi and their faces do look like the actors.
So we argued for a bit, and ran an experiment.
Featuring my partner, I sent him pictures of avatar characters, and created a matching game where he has to match up the characters to their actual actors based on facial features.
But there's a twist,
My partner has never seem avatar 1 or 2.
Edit:
(btw, @eclipseatsea, i thought of you while doing this, idk why, please don't think I'm weird 😭 you just give off such positive vibes 💕)
Probable redo of the shoe argument that's gonna come up in Junkyard Tales, with Lolligo getting worried over in Caged Kraken. Though, can't exactly get too mad at Bells, kid's living frugal and tailor-made shoes are expensive. Nevermind getting ones for the younger kids that'll just be outgrown in a year or two...
