Atsushi's back in the game!!! ۶( ˆ o ˆ )
#And Kouyou!!!!#Also. I can say Steinbeck is kinda 👀👀👀#King of the specific category of “I forget I like him until he's on screen”#I'm seriously unlocking memories with this rewatch. Like I haven't thought about it in two years–#but I just know when I was watching the anime for the first time I was being like#“Of COURSE the villains need to spend several minutes each episode explaining in detail how their own superpowers work so that the–#protagonists can get a perfect idea of how to best counter them. Why are villains made so freaking stupid in this show” aljhvwslchvqliyqwb#But. Eh. I guess that's just bsd to you.#Alsoooooo random thought of the day: I don't really favour how Tanizaki's ability was adapted in the anime.#I very well understand they were going for this green Matrix-like illusion effect‚ but every time someone says “... Snow?”#I'm like please explain where do you live that has snow glowing green.#Aamsjgvfaskjhfv sorry this is me being very. Cranky and nitpicky and having terrible audience etiquette in refusing to–#engage in suspension of disbelief. It just bugs me akvakcvqkyb I just feel like... Green is such a non-snow color–#that quite of completely disrupts the Light Snow / Sasame Yuki aesthetic. I would have liked it much better light blue or simply white.#What else. The way the Guild just goes on at stereotypes still troubles me a lot. The “usamericans can't be touched by laws–#because they use money to corrupt anyone” “foreign criminal organization come in our country to corrupt our pure and untouched soil”#Idk. Maybe all of it is true. Can it still be deemed a stereotype when it's objectively something that's happened before–#and will probably keep happening?#I suppose I'm just not a fan of the constant hostility against any foreigner. Idk.#This situation besides is extremely ironical. If you meet me irl it probably won't take long to see me being very outspoken about–#how much I despise usa cultural colonization of all other countries. It's something that really bothers me‚ how rooted and pervasive–#their influence is. So in a lot of ways I can relate to the author's sentiment#I just feel that. If you start treating them as stereotypes and ignore the complexity of a country and the wide spectrum of causes–#that contribute to its attitude in international relations. You end up practicing precisely what you're trying to criticize.#Okay this is the last time I'm getting into the politics of the Guild arc lol#random rambles#This time I took watching the episode slow I feel a little late

Sukuna NSFW Headcanons
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lemme know if you want me to elaborate or write something about any of these ♥️
18+ content below, mdni, implied chubby f!reader, dark content
TW: implied non-con, mentions of death, Sukuna is not nice!!!
Tumblr media
♛ Boy oh boy. Mr. Monsterfucker wet dream himself
♛ For starters, make no mistake: Sukuna gives absolutely zero fucks about your pleasure. You’re there solely to please him, and it makes no difference whether you enjoy it or not
♛ Knows where the clit is, he just doesn’t give a fuck lmfao
♛ I think one thing that would make him actually intelltionally please you--which is very rare, but happens on occasion when he's in a good mood---is sounds. If you make sounds of pleasure he likes, he’ll try to get more out of you. Again, not for your benefit. It's purely because it brings him some satisfaction. It’s the same with sounds of pain tho, oof
♛ Not very noisy, but doesn’t stifle any sounds either. Definitely a grunter. Talkativeness depends on his mood
♛ I definitely agree with the notion that he’d have concubines. As we know him now, I can’t imagine him falling for anyone or being loyal
♛ With that in mind, Sukuna doesn’t really have a type. His concubines all look very different. Yuki asks Sukuna what his type is and he just says pussy
♛ One thing he appreciates about you is how your soft body fills his hands. With him being humongous, having someone larger just feels more comfortable. Sometimes he just wants that vava-voom if you know what I mean. Also enjoys how your thighs feel when you're riding him--their softness rippling against his muscles
♛ That’s not to say Sukuna doesn’t have preferences, I just don’t think they’d be consistent, or that he’d care enough to pick up on a pattern. He just sees someone & knows ‘I’d stick my dick in them’ or ‘Uraume feed me this ugly hoe’
♛ OF COURSE he has a double-decker dick!! The one on the bottom is more sensitive. He likes having one of his concubines riding the top one, and another sucking his cock and balls
♛ His cum shoots--it gets airtime. Think that scene in Devilman Crybaby
♛ Without a doubt a sadist, in every way. Making you cry, making you bleed, & hurting you all get him going. Big on dacryphilia, and degratation
♛ Absolutely nooooot going to be submissive. Nope no way, especially not to some lowly human or sorcerer such as yourself. He’d have to see you as an equal, and even then, I’m not sure he would
♛ Not submissive but lowkey a pillow princess LMFAO you gotta do all the work. He just lazes while you suck him off or ride him
♛ When he’s in the mood he treats you like a fleshlight. If he legitimately railed you, it would do permanent damage. Mfer is 8ft tall—if he were to actually pound you with vigor you’d DIE. In fact, he probably does that when he doesn’t care to keep someone….yikes let’s not think about that
♛ Honestly I don’t imagine he’s that freaky or kinky. Really just wants to blow his load in (or on) someone pretty & that’s about it
♛ The freakiest thing he does is use his tummy tongue—largely because it frightens you & his other concubines bc, yknow, he could legit eat you. Also, he just wants to eat some pussy every now & then, and there’s no way he would lower his head or kneel for anyone
♛ He eats pussy for his own pleasure, not yours, but that tongue is so big and slippery you usually cum anyway. Doesn’t stop until he’s had his fill

why k-mag is a walking green flag and you should stan him:
devoted girl dad who puts his daughter over anything else. he said in an interview that he wanted louise, his wife, and laura, his daughter, to be at every race if possible, but they are also very focused on ensuring that laura is happy and healthy and if they feel like it’s too much travelling for laura or that she’s not thriving then they will change plans last minute. and when he got the offer to come back to f1, kev’s only concern was about the time he would lose out on with his daughter.
is either still vegan or was vegan due to concerns about the environment and as a way to balance his co2 emissions as he admitted that due to his job then he is guilty of higher emission than most people. in the same interview, literally one single interview with a danish newspaper back in 2019, k-mag came up with a few ideas on how f1 could become more green, but also said he was probably not going to talk much about it because he realised that he would be a hypocrite due to his job, so he was very much self-aware which is just another green flag. and he said that people who do not believe in climate change are stupid.
praises his competitors whether he wins or lose. after austin 2022, kevin lost out on 2 points to sebastian vettel after a heroic stint on his tyres in literally the last few seconds of the race. despite this, he was full of praise for seb in multiple interviews. and after jeddah 2023, he praised yuki for his excellence defence, but this time kevin was the one who came out victorious, but he made a point out of acknowledging yuki’s excellent driving. and both times he sought out his competitors right after the race to shake their hands.
defends his teammates if they are treated unjustly. both with jolyon and mick, there were times when the criticism was fair, but also times when it was too much and was more bullying. kevin tore renault to shreds for bullying palmer and talking shit behind his back, he said that while palmer was not the best racing driver, he was underestimated because he was so intelligent (and now palmer is an excellent f1 analyst! so k-mag was very right about that). he defended mick against his bosses several times and treated him well. there are also instances during races where he calls out competitors for dirty driving against his teammates.
got p2 on his debut race for mclaren as a 21-year old rookie. kevin started his f1 career with beating his former world champion teammate with 15 years of experience in f1 and while he lost out to him over the season, he did show great promise especially in qualifying which was considered one of his weaknesses. while qualifying between the two of them were pretty equal, k-mag managed to qualify 0.2 seconds ahead of button on average  ― which is the same time hamilton managed to beat button. kevin did all this... and then mclaren fucked him over, forced him to say no to a seat, but then demoted him to reserve driver, refused to give him a seat in another racing series before finally firing him from mclaren ON HIS FUCKING BIRTHDAY. so danny ric is not the first driver to get screwed over by mclaren.
worked as a welder before his big racing break due to lack of funds. as so many before him, kevin ran out of money as the sport got more and more expensive. before he even had the chance to turn professional, it looked like options of getting a seat anywhere would be impossible because no one could help him on his way financially. his dad, while a decorated racing driver, did not earn as much as you’d expect a racing driver to earn and he was super busy with his own career, so kevin got a job as a welder until suddenly a rich man from denmark decided to sponsor him. but this means that kevin knows what “real life” is like and he has continously respected that. his mechanics love him and he hangs out with them more than his fellow racing drivers. during the discussion about the number of races in a season calendar, kevin has refused to complain for himself and has always said that the victims of the long and packed season are the mechanics and engineers who cannot get home to their families as often. while he does admit being away so much is difficult, he also pointed out that he is travelling in business class and can get home between races, something the mechanics cannot.
raised by a single mother, who was also a teen mother, and he has several tattoos in her honour. when he was a teenager, his mum, britt, got ovarian cancer that unfortunately spread and for several years she battled with it to the point where the doctors did not think she would survive. but luckily they did not give up on her and britt ended up being free of cancer after many years of being plagued by it. in her honour, kevin has a guardian angel on his chest, the one who looked over his mum, and he also has ‘mum’ as a tattoo on his wrist below a tattoo of praying hands. kevin’s dad, jan magnussen, was in his life but is also a racing driver and only really settled down in denmark when kevin was already a grown teenager and had his own career, so kevin barely saw him during his childhood and jan himself has admitted their relationship is a relationship between friends than dad-son due to the lack of day-to-day parenting he did for most of k-mag’s life.
is a champion for girls. kevin has said the most important people in his life is his mum, his wife and his daughter. he is also personally mentoring a 14-year old female karting talent, alba larsen, to help her with her dream of becoming a professional racing driver. he has praised her devotion, passion and skill. he has gotten his whole family onboard, so now his dad is also helping mentor her while kevin is away, his uncle is a mechanic and helps her with her kart despite the fact that his younger brother, luca, is her competitor as he’s the same age and also does karting (kevin and jan are also training him, of course!)
managed to get pole last season in a haas. and on paper, it should not have been possible. even in the dry sessions, k-mag had a pace that cannot really be explained. according to f1 own analysis and data, the haas was, at the time, 1.35 second slower than red bull, but even in the dry sessions kevin managed to get within 0.5 second of max verstappen. and not only that, his pole lap was only 0.8 second off the lap max did in q2 despite the track being slippery. while circumstances worked in kevin’s favour, he also managed to beat seemingly impossible odds. the only true explanation for why kevin managed to do what he did is skill. ask yourselves what the time might have been if k-mag had been in the red bull...
is one of only a handful of drivers not to live in a tax haven. he went back to live in denmark for the first time since he was a teenager in 2020 after his wife got pregnant and will not be moving away from denmark again despite the high income tax for the sake of his family’s comfort and well-being. out of all his seasons in formula 1, he only spent 2 seasons living outside either the uk or denmark and he moved to an area where several danish athletes live due to better weather and better location for international travel.
is around the same age as his wife and she’s not a model. the bar is literally on the floor for male racing drivers, people. but at least k-mag isn’t one of them ― and by model then i mean the actual profession, there is no doubt that louise is gorgeous. also i have nothing against models, but it’s just such a cliché that rich racing drivers end up with them.
is a big fan of dinosaurs and space. look, these are the greenest flag interests that i can think of, he really is just a nerd. other drivers have interests like dj’ing, golf, fashion and collector of luxury cars  ― and then you just have kevin being like “idk i like space and dinosaurs” 😂

"If Gojo and Geto were really best friends, then why didn't Gojo realize there was something wrong with Geto mentally beforehand?"
And then I saw someone said that Satoru and Shoko were probably too selfish or too dense to notice...
A lot some factors play into Suguru's path to becoming a curse user, but I wouldn't say Shoko and Satoru were "too selfish, too dense".
With Shoko, she was indeed a friend to both Satoru and Suguru. But she wasn't always around, not because she didn't care to be. It was because she couldn't be. She practically had to stay at the school because her Reverse Curse Technique and sharpen that technique.
And it wasn't as if Shoko wouldn't have listened to Suguru because later on in the manga, she makes a comment about Satoru believing he was alone after Suguru left. She says he wasn't alone because she was right there.
Now with Satoru, he isn't dense and I know Satoru is arrogant to some level, but I don't even think he's selfish like that. He did notice something was up with Suguru. He did question him if he was alright and Suguru just told him it was summer heat. Satoru being Suguru's best friend, trusted that answer and probably didn't want to push it any further. I don't think he wanted to bother Suguru, just as much as Suguru probably didn't want to bother anyone else. He never would have thought Suguru would start questioning how things work in the world because the Suguru he knew always cared about others. Why do you think he spazzed out when he learned of what Suguru had done?
We saw the year prior that with Riko was upset about leaving the beach, Satoru suggested they stay longer. So it's not Satoru doesn't notice when someone is feeling some type of way. In fact, around that time, he was growing into being more considerate about others. Suguru deflecting solidified Satoru's change into who he became later down the line.
Also, just like with Shoko, Satoru was separated away from Suguru a lot of the times. He became the strongest and was assigned on more solo missions. The schedules for missions are irregular so they probably couldn't meet like that, let alone at all!
I think what gets me about people pointing fingers at who is to blame for Suguru's downfall is that it's at Satoru and Shoko who are just as much as victims to Jujutsu society and the Higher-Ups as Suguru was.
Even crazier, no one says anything about Yaga who was Suguru's teacher, who blames himself. And I wouldn't say he's at complete fault either given how the Higher-Ups treat him.
Sometimes, I feel like people who blame Satoru and Shoko are just Satoru haters (and maybe to an extend SatoSugu haters and looking for an "excuse" to slander the ship) and people who don't care about female characters.
Same fandom that likes to throw Yuki under the bus as if she directly told Suguru "go kill all non-shamans" in his ear.
Moments before she even appeared in that scene Suguru makes a comment to Yu saying how he's a good judge of character with "then why are you sitting next to me then" (or something along those lines), so he already knew that he (Suguru) was heading down a dark path.
It was just how it was gonna happen and what exactly what bothering him.
Yuki was just trying to have a conversation with him, that's it.
With Satoru and Shoko, they were just kids, too being unfairly used like tools.
Look, Suguru did wrong, but given all that has happened it was indeed going to happen. He was just a kid who at a time believed in doing good.
If, again, anyone should be blamed it's the Higher-Ups who treat those who work under them like garbage.
Who in their right mind sends a damn teenager on solo missions? Let alone one to a village?! With those kind of people?! (Because I don't doubt that the HUs didn't know what kind of people they are if they got word of what was happening. Surely, one of the villagers said something about the twins and blamed them. Two innocent little girls, mind you.)
Like, the HUs are the same people who orchestrated a death mission practically just to kill Yuji and would have also gotten Megumi and Nobara killed, too.

Chapter 40: Alternate View: When it comes to time travel, it’s good to have a moderately awesome ninja in your corner.
Mitsuhide x OC; Hideyoshi x MC (Mai)
All Chapters Archived on Ao3
Logline - With Mai, Hideyoshi, and Aki missing, Mitsuhide and Katsuko reluctantly team up. Disguised as a merchant and his concubine, can they outsmart the man known as the God of Deceit?
As it turns out, it is not possible to grow penicillin in the kitchens of a feudal Japanese castle. Granted… I had no idea what I was doing, and as easily as things had molded over in my fridge in modern Japan, it is not as simple as leaving food in a warm place and hoping for the best.
“What are you trying to do, Kats… er, Kaya?” Yuki peered at the bowl of yuzu peel that … hadn’t developed any mold in the three days it had been sitting out.
“Ummm, hopefully something medicinal.” At Yuki’s expression of complete skepticism, I added, “It’s better than doing nothing.” By this point, Aki had been delirious for over a day, and prior to that had had little energy for much talking. The evening he and I had arrived, Katsuko had managed to claim his attention for one, long private meeting. As much as I knew she deserved her time to be with him, to rebuild whatever it was that made things awkward between them, I didn’t miss out on what might be his final days. I was the one who pulled him off that battlefield. I was his daughter too.
“I don’t know. When Shingen was still sick, some of the medicines he tried made him sicker.” He poked at the hardened peels. “Seems like a waste.”
“It’s not like anyone eats this part of them anyway.” Probably they just would have been tossed into the baths to make them smell pretty. “And don’t touch them. I’m trying to grow penicillin, not boy germs.”
“Peni… um, boy what?” He made a face. “You’re weird. You look like Katsu, but you don’t really act much like her.”
Well, we hadn’t been the same person for seven years. Or eleven, depending on which date we were using, and… “This whole situation is weird.”
He scraped his hands through his hair. “I’ll say. But you’re still weird.”
“Did you come in here just to poke at me, or was there an actual reason?” Although at least he was willing to talk to me, even if he was kind of rude. The way most people here at Tsutsujigasaki castle avoided me, I was beginning to feel like the Yokoi that my sort-of nephew had accused me of being. Even the servants, who thought I was Katsuko’s younger sister, did their best not to look at me.
“Oh. Yeah. I was right. Sasuke got here already.” And then, because I was already halfway across the kitchen, he yelled after me, “Does this mean I can throw these out?”
Tumblr media
By the time I caught up with Sasuke, he was just about to enter Aki’s room. “Greetings and salutations, Alternate-Katsuko.” His face was as impassive as the Sasuke from my timeline, but I was just happy to connect with someone who didn’t treat me like I was a demi-demon. “Katsuko-prime and Shingen have filled me in on the situation.”
“Um, hi, Alternate-Sasuke… um… do you have any idea how to make penicillin?” If anyone could, it would be Sasuke. Well, or Toshiie, but he wasn’t due back from China apparently for several weeks. Aki could not wait that long.
“Er… no, it’s not something I’ve thought to attempt. I have considered making a battery out of a potato, but it’s going to be another fifteen years before potatoes are cultivated here… so… hashtag time travel goals.” He glanced through the doorway where Aki was fitfully sleeping. “On a more serious note, I am happy to meet another Katsuko, even though it’s not under the greatest of circumstances. Has there been any improvement?”
I shook my head. Two days before, Shingen had fetched another healer – one who hadn’t fainted at the sight of Aki’s shoulder. She had packed the wound with some sort of poultice, which stabilized him somewhat, and the other-me had proven skilled at getting him to swallow willow bark tea, explaining that she had had a great deal of practice with that.
But now, even the effects of the poultice were gone, and no matter how much tea we forced down his throat, Aki’s fever still raged. “It feels like we’re running out of options… here.”
“I can hear you.” Apparently having one of his moments of lucidity, Aki signaled us to enter. “Hello Mister Mikumo.”
Sasuke greeted Aki formally, which was all the conversation that my father had energy for. Immediately he dropped off into sleep again.
“Ah. I see the need for antibiotics.” The smell of Aki’s wound permeated the room. "Although I am a theoretical physicist, not a doctor." The joke was stated with just a slight quirk at the side of his mouth to indicate the humor. "Have I made that joke to you before – your timeline’s alternate version of me?"
"No." I was not in the mood for humor. "What about modern medicine? I mean, I’m not a doctor either, but doctors in our time can cure infections, right? You can help me get him home, can’t you?”
After all that had happened, I refused to let Aki die.
"I've already checked." Sasuke pulled out what looked like a hand sewn notebook and flipped through it. It was full of numbers and calculations. "Honno-ji won’t open until the winter solstice – Togakushi a month later." He didn’t mention that Aki couldn’t wait that long, but the unspoken words hung in the air.
"So Shingen and Katsu didn’t tell you about the device?" A device, that during Aki’s lucid moments, he explained was a prototype. Maybe they’d forgotten (unlikely) or decided to leave that story up to me. “It… I’m not sure how, but it opened the wormhole that dumped me onto that battlefield.”
"Device?” He slapped his forehead. “I didn’t even think to question how you ended up here. But of course, if there had been wormhole activity, I would have known.”
“There was a wormhole, but before that, it wasn’t.” Once again I explained how I had ended up in 1586, this time to an audience who had scientific questions that were far beyond my patchwork high school attendance. After my third ‘I don’t know,’ I gave up and turned the device over to him.
“Fascinating.” Sasuke pushed his glasses up on the bridge of his nose. He cautiously flipped the thing over in his hands, but it still just looked like a somewhat advanced version of a cell phone. He glanced at Aki. “He said it’s a prototype? That suggests that it’s still a beta. Do you have any objections to me studying it?”
“As long as you don’t zap us all into prehistoric Japan. I don’t think my heart could take the Jurassic period.” I paused, waiting for Aki to interject whether or not he had problem with Sasuke taking control of the device, but if he did, he wasn't saying. “This” I waved my hand to indicate my alternate’s home, “is already unsettling enough.”
"You mean the rare experience of meeting another version of yourself?" Sasuke seemed almost envious. "Have you noticed any unusual physical phenomena? Do you find yourself fading, or do you feel like you are losing parts of your memory?"
"No. In fact it feels like I'm instead gaining memories I've never had." I wasn't sure how to explain it further, although it had been a relief to confirm my theory that those odd moments of deja-vu-esque images were not my memories, but some kind of multiverse effect.
"Yes." Katsuko entered the room carrying another pot of tea. "Me too. Like the memory of a spider crawling down the front of a pink kimono - and I don’t even own one."
"I've not had that one, and I do have a pink kimono." Well, I did have one. I'd left it behind with Mitsuhide. "But a spider never crawled down the front of it." Just a kitsune. "Aki yelling at me for jumping out of a tree."
That one had been pretty vivid. Katsuko tapped her chest. "Actually happened. And then he abandoned me there." She sent Aki a look that was half anger, half exasperation. "It turned out to have been a con, but of course he didn’t warn me first."
"How very Mitsuhide of him." That dang kitsune. We’d been apart for over a week (not counting that one hour at Genba), but he was still hacking my brain.
The ninth thing I hate about Mitsuhide, even when I’m four years and an unknown number of timelines away, I can’t stop thinking about him.
She looked at me. "I have questions about that but-" She sighed. "It feels so surreal to talk to you."
Ah. That's why it had been so easy to avoid her. She'd been avoiding me, too. "I know. We're not twins, or clones. I've been trying to think of you as an older sister." Since this Katsu would have to be four years older than I am. Or maybe just three? Yuki had told me she'd been stuck in the wormhole (or a wormhole) and missed a year.
"Could you guys not talk over me?" Aki muttered, in another moment of lucidity. "I haven't departed this Earth yet." His eyes flicked over to Sasuke and greeted him as if he had not done so just twenty minutes before. "Hello Mister Mikumo. Still climbing things?"
Ok, not as lucid as all that then.
Sasuke bowed to him again, as if he had not done so before. "Professor."
“Katsu. I told you. Don’t bother me unless the world is ending. Don’t bother me then either.” He closed his eyes again.
"Not yet old man," Katsuko set the teapot down with a clonk, and poured a cup of willow bark tea. "Time for your medication." With Sasuke's help, she propped him into a sitting position and got him to swallow the tea, before he slumped back on the bed with a moan.
Again, I swallowed that feeling of envy that she, my other-self, had managed to get Aki to obey her. It wasn’t important. The important thing that was he had drunk it. That everyone was doing whatever we could to keep him alive until Sasuke could figure out how to get the device to open the wormhole.
Stand back! He’s trying science.
Tumblr media
“I wondered where you were hiding.” I looked up from my failed experiment (Yuki had not thrown out the yuzu peel as threatened), to see my other self, my older self, who had returned to the kitchen with the empty teapot.
“Well, I figured it would just be easier if I stayed out of everyone’s way.” I sat back and watched her bustling about with some kind of wooden contraption, before I realized that it was a pulley system that retrieved fresh snow from outside without anyone needing to trek out into the weather to get it themselves. “That’s pretty cool.” I’d never seen anything like it before.
She smiled. “Shingen built it. He’s really good with his hands. Er… in an engineering kind of way.” The blush on her face suggested he was good with his hands in all kinds of ways.
“Of course he is.” Oh shit. I said that out loud. My sarcasm turned our moment into something seriously awkward.
“I’m jealous of you too,” Katsuko eventually said.
“Me? Why?” This version of myself seemed to have it all figured out.
“Because Aki told you he was our father. He didn’t leave you on the side of the road, feeling like everyone had abandoned her.” She slammed the now full of snow kettle on the brazier. “I mean, I know he did it to fool Shingen into taking me. I learned pretty soon after that he didn’t mean it. But it was cruel, and … he’s said a lot of hurtful things to me that he apparently never said to you.”
“Oh.” I reached in my kimono and pulled out Aki’s letter. It was the one thing I had on me when Iekane pulled us into the wormhole. “He didn’t tell me. He disappeared, left me holed up in an Inn for weeks and when I finally went in search of him, I found this letter at Francisco’s. I imagine, that if you were to go to Sakai, you might have this same letter waiting.”
I sat back on my heels, and watched her read the letter, noticing when she smiled – she must have hit the ‘cloud city moment’ line. Finally she folded it up and gave it back to me. “Thanks. I don’t know why it helps… but it does.”
“Well, good. I’d hate it if I hated me. Er, well… you know.” Yup. Still surreal.
“Yeah. I do.” She paused…. Then. “Um I sort of don’t want to know, but I also do want to know. What is up with Mitsuhide and you?”
Ugh, I can’t even pass the Bechdel test with myself! “It’s a long story that probably doesn’t even matter, because he’s in love with Mai. Unrequitedly, but it’s still not something I want to hang around to watch.”
She nodded. “Yeah. I kind of thought he was in this timeline too. But, I only met him for like two hours, during which he threatened to kill me, beat me at shogi, then turned around and gave me some really good advice.”
Well…. That’s on brand at least.
Tumblr media
It was another day before Sasuke emerged from the room where he was mad-sciencing it all.
Once again, we were gathered in Shingen’s private office, and again drinking tea that Yukimura had prepared and Katsuko had helped to distribute. Shingen also produced another basket of pastry that he claimed was from his private stash. Given that he always seemed to be able to produce a basket of pastry from somewhere, I suspected his ‘private stash’ was actually a sweatshop full of bakers kept prisoner somewhere on the castle grounds.
“First of all, some background on our wormholes. It isn't merely that the atmospheric conditions need to be correct, for the wormhole to actually form, there needs to be enough charged ions to, in layman's terms, shock it open." Sasuke took a moment to to gulp down some tea, and rubbed the corner of his eyes. "That’s what Iekane's device does, it concentrates a jolt that opens up a corridor to the closest wormhole."
It kind of sounded like something out of Back to the Future…
"A mini flux capacitor?" There went Katsuko, voicing aloud what was in my own brain. Aki aside, I needed to get out of this timeline for my sanity.
"Flock's capacity? You want to bring birds into this?" Yuki bypassed the pastry and glared a bit at the double serving on Shingen's tray. "What will that do?"
The others ignored him beyond giving him a fond smile.
Katsuko nodded to Sasuke. "Makes sense. Thunder-snow. Yuki, do you remember there was thunder and snow when we encountered Iekane at Togakushi? But our timeline’s Iekane didn’t have a device – or I suppose he didn’t need it. We were already expecting that wormhole to manifest."
"And unfortunately, we don’t have time to wait for the solstice. Therefore, I believe our best course of action would be to try to use the device to send Kaya and Aki to the future. Her timeline." Sasuke pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. “Theoretically, this timeline’s Iekane does not have the prototype, or one would think he would be using it often.”
Shingen looked at Sasuke and nodded. “I trust your best guess. That said, we don’t know where ended up after he and Katsu went into the wormhole, so my spies will keep searching for Iekane."
"As will mine." Katsuko grabbed a scroll and brush and jotted down a note.
“You have your own spies?" Not only does this timeline's Katsu have what appears to be a perfect partner, she gets her OWN spies?
"Birthday present," she murmured. Ok. That might blow Mitsuhide's gift of a lock pick set out of the water.
He also got you that pretty robe, and he played the flute for you when you were unconscious…
My inner voice was apparently feeling especially snarky today.
Sasuke brought out the device. "I've managed, theoretically, to override the device’s initial coding." Sasuke proceeded to go in to a technical explanation that was at its basis, a pretty sophisticated form of hacking. "So, Kaya, all that I need is your thumbprint and you can use it to take Aki into the future."
That’s all?
I was a bit nervous to have control over the device. "You don't want that honor for yourself?" After hearing about Katsuko’s terrifying experience, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be the pilot on this adventure.
"While I would, in fact be otherwise thrilled to do so," Sasuke exchanged glances with Katsu and Shingen. "I’m afraid I could set it off course."
Oh right. If Sasuke had control over it, we'd just end up going to his future - which would be fine for Aki, but would keep me in the wrong timeline. Although at least if that happened I would never have to run into the version of Mitsuhide who was in love with Mai (although apparently he loves her here too, so… I was kind of SOL no matter where I went).
The thought was brief, and somewhat selfish. Who knew what kind of chaos would come about if I continued to stay in the wrong timeline? And, I still needed to return to my timeline’s Sakai and follow up Aki's information on Toshiie.
“For a similar reason, I have come to the conclusion that I will be unable to accompany you on a journey to your own timeline.” With a slight attitude of reluctance, he set the device down on Shingen’s desk. "I would relish the opportunity to have a long discussion with another version of myself."
Was I imagining that everyone else seemed a bit scared of that idea?
He looked down at his paperwork. "However such a conversation could present a danger to the balance of the multiverse, and with no guarantee of returning to this particular timeline-" He gave a sideeye to Shingen, "although I am relatively certain between myself and I, I could figure it out- I have decided not to make the attempt."
Subtext: he had been planning to go anyway, and Shingen talked him out of it.
With Aki’s condition worsening by the hour, we decided not to waste any more time waiting. Shingen and Yuki helped carry Aki to a deserted area behind Tsutsujigasaki Castle. In the distance were some archery targets, so I figured that was what it was normally used for. Good plan to leave from here – the castle inhabitants would avoid this area when Katsuko was out here, to avoid getting hit by stray arrows.
Although, since she was me, there wouldn’t be any stray arrows. We’d both learned accuracy one stable wall repair at a time.
Sasuke handed me a packet containing his contact information and a letter I was to give to his other self. "I hope, that at some point, he will be able to figure out how to communicate with me – or however many versions of me there are."
Unlike me, Sasuke seemed not at all weirded out by the prospect of a multiplicity of selves.
While Katsuko took a private moment to say whatever she needed to say to our father, I gave my goodbyes and thanks to Lord Shingen and Yukimura. "It must have been strange for you two, thank you for putting up with me."
"Surrounded by another vision of my devil? Not strange at all." By now, I knew Shingen well enough to know that the flirting was second nature, as was a dry sense of humor, so I simply bowed to him again.
Yuki just grinned at me and punched me in the arm. "You’re not so bad, dummy." High praise from that one.
Katsuko left Aki’s side and I found myself in a long hug with my alternate… no this isn't weird at all. "Good luck. With everything." That was all she said. But maybe she figured I would know what she meant by 'everything,’ since she was me.
Then, per Sasuke's instructions, I put my arms around Aki, activated the device, and once again, hoped there wouldn’t be any dinosaurs.
There was that sharp buzzing noise, and the world dissolved into grey once again.
All sounds muffled, then faded out.

Ok wait now I'm thinking of the timeline where Tactica came out but we've already established the Goro stuff so he's just hanging out with the PT and shit so he and Sumi are there and oh god he would be so funny.
He would be SO ANGREY about getting mind controlled. He would be like "let me shoot her. LET ME SHOOT HER." Marie would probably make him call himself "a mangy little orphan" or some shit
He would be so done with Toshiro being sad. Oh you're dad's controlling? Suck it up bitch. Kill him. Kill him in an overly dramatic way because you're all in on a plan you made when you were 13
The stuff with Yuki would get him though and now I'm picturing him like. Awkwardly going with Yusuke and Futaba to try and cheer Toshiro up bc dead mom squad but he's like. Objectively worse at it.
Any time a boss is like "ALL THIS BAD STUFF IS YOUR FAULT FOR REBELLING IN THE FIRST PLACE" Akechi would call out that bullshit the way he does Maruki
I have no coherent thoughts here I just need him in on the side quest shenanigans and the various talk things
I want them to be like "you're all idiots" (says the guy who took forever to shoot his dad in the face and almost died because of it)
Akechi doesn't want to do a quest and Haru's like "yeah well you killed my dad! ^-^" and then he begrudgingly goes a long with it (I think Haru gets to be vaguely threatening, as a treat)
I think he would be very funny on the "boys looking for what they think is Toshiro's porn stash" quest

Some midgame thoughts about prominent 13SAR characters so far!
Juro: Typical otome protag personality. A makeout session with a boy who's also intrested in sci fi media (Kyuta..?) would save him probably
Iori: Ouh.... her whimsy is ethreal.... her eepyness is too strong... they'll kill u girl
Shuu: LOOSERBOY EXTRODINAIRE <3 I knew he'll have a Certain personality to him
Natsuno: SHE'S SO CUTE 🥹 Love u my sci fi neurodivergent genki
Yuki: OUHH.... HUSBANDT...
Hijiyama: All that I could hope for. His pathetic guy swag. His stupidity. God bless
Okino:
Tumblr media
Miura: This boy is literally so adorable... i hold back tears seeing how much of a good boy he is
Megumi: GIRL I SWEAR!! I SWEAR THERES MORE MEN THAT'LL TREAT U BETTER!! DONT DO THIS TO URSELF!!
Tomi: I did not expect her to be so mysterious honestly! Surface level personality she's deffo my fav... self aware sassy girls my beloved
Nenji: He's just been exerting his himboisms with not much actual personality to show yet so i cant judge. Extremely funny in a "oh this guy is pathetic" way though
Ei: When i posted my character thoughts to my friends discord initially i forgot to include him 😭. Sorry girl but so far nothing really sticks out aside from woughh serious personality
Chihiro (Morimura): Nothing much outside of "ouhh catty sexy lady" so far
Miwako: I WISH SHE HAD MORE CHARACTER SIGNIFICANCE 😭😭😭 her potential is that close to being realised istg i'll write her more into main story myself

If you don't mind, can I ask your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from Jujutsu Kaisen? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Sorry if you've answered this before.....
Hi! Thanks for the ask :)
Yuuji is definitely my favourite. If you've seen my recent post about what I think makes him a good character you probably already have an idea about what I think of him.
However, what initially drew me to him was how kind hearted he is. There is a certain childlike (not childish) innocence about him that makes him so endearing and sets him apart from other characters. I know Miwa is a sweetheart too, but something about Yuuji makes it feel more earnest. Of course he isn't that "happy go lucky" kid after everything that's happened to him, but it seems to me that he did preserve some of that purity. Mahito said it himself - Yuuji saves people without a second thought. And while that doesn't have to be the best thing one can do in a certain situations, I still love that about him.
There was that scene when Gojo tells Megumi he needs to be more selfish and not throw his life away. That tendency of his was evident during the game of baseball they played against the Kyoto students. But here's the thing, while Yuuji might be more "selfish" in the way Gojo put it (and even compared himself to him), I still think Yuuji is more "selfless" on the battleground. Megumi knows what should be done. Yuuji feels. Megumi will do something because he knows it's for the better (based on his set of values), Yuuji will do something because he feels it's for the better. Because he genuinly cares (not saying Megumi doesn't, but not as much as Yuuji). What I'm trying to say is that if Megumi sacrifices himself it's because it needs to be done, if Yuuji sacrifices himself it's because he feels for those who would suffer if he doesn't. At least that's how I see it.
Then there's Kenjaku - someone who would cause the apocalypse because they are bored. Here's the thing, I didn't read the manga and go, oh I like this one. I started posting silly little scenarios of them and then it hit me like, wait, they are quite interesting. A mad scientist. I do quite like that. I like how curious, playful and unpredictable they are. Plus I have a habit of liking those who think outside the box.
Which brings us to Yuki. Her character is probably the most similar to Kenjaku's in jjk universe - a playful non-conformist who studies ways of the cursed energy. She wants to treat the root of the problem, not simply exorcise curses - finally! It is interesting because her ideals directly oppose Kenjaku's. She thinks breaking away from cursed energy is for the best, while Kenjaku believes that optimising cursed energy is the way to go. Both of them also have a connection to Tengen, she as a previous Star Plasma Vessel and Kenjaku as Tengen's friend. I wish Gege delved deeper in both of their pasts, or at least showed us how two of those traveled (Kenny across Jappan, she abroad) and studied cursed energy.
Also, she's damn cool, okay? I don't make the rules. She just is. I also love how tall she is (probably because I'm tall too 😂 and you don't see many tall women in the media).
Some other characters i like are Shoko, Nobara, Nanami, Choso, Hakari...
As for the favorite moments, the first two on this list are my actual no. 1 and 2, the rest is listed in no particular order other than me remembering them in that way:
1) Yuuji vs Mahito's last fight in s2
2) Yuuji and Nobara vs Eso and Kechizu, then Nobara comforting Yuuji in her own way, s1
3) the trio spilling coffee on Gojo's shirt, s2
4) Nanami saying everything is shit, s1
5) Yuuji vs Mahito first fight, s1
Sukuna vs Jogo was great too imo, and I love the animation of the Star Plasma corridor scene. Actually all scenes with Amanai Riko were well animated.
There are probably more scenes but this list is off the top of my head.
Sorry for the long answer 😅
Have a nice day :)

How will SDRA2 Cast Boys handles being with a S/O who a animal tamer who have very protective animals around them like angry pecking birds and for some reason Bears and Lion next to them 🦁 🦅 🐻
Lol ok 👌
SDRA2 Teruya Otori:
He's pretty impressed when he first sees you, but still a little intimidated
Please don't let the birds peck his hat or goggles, but other than that, he doesn’t mind them too much as he gets to know you (and them)
Through his trauma, memory loss, and confusion, he needs some emotional support animals big time
He loves petting and playing with them and the animals accept him and like him very quickly
His favorite moment with you was when the two of you were cuddling together, with your animals acting as your personal blankets
He really does like your animals, even if he has to keep them from ransacking Otori Mart
Nikei Yomiuri:
He was terrified of you at first
"Hi! I- WHAT THE FUCK IS THA-"
He probably runs away ngl
It takes him a while to approach you again, when he does, it's when your inside the monocruise so at least most of your birds won't crap on him
You introduce yourself and he interviews you, but when he asks perverted questions, this man is nearly killed (Like that bear scene from Despair Arc)
He learns his lesson very quickly
Him and your animals are basically forced into a truce to make you happy
Sometimes he'll just grab a slab of meat and throw it (usually at Mikado) and run away with you
Shinji Kasai:
He wasn't too intimidated, he was surprised, but not too scared
There's a chance your animals were intimated at his appearance, and maybe confused his red face for anger at you
He makes sure none of the herbivores try to eat the flower necklace, but besides that he doesn't really mind
It makes him glad that you have friends looking out for you, human or not
He's always willing to let any of the animals jog with him (especially if you come too)
Your animals accept him (and he also gives good pets)
Hajime Makonouchi:
Similar to Shinji, surprised, but not scared
Your animals might be intimidated by him, but not too much
He'll never say no to petting and holding any of them, even the lions and bears
When he trusts you, he’ll trust them
He is also glad you always have friends protecting you and staying by your side, he only wishes that he could have had the same
Will ask you to bring some of them with you when you train and will research ways to keep them healthy
SDRA2 Yuki Maeda:
He yelps when he sees all of your pets
"A-Are they...tame..?”
He nervously asked you if he could pet one of the smaller and fluffy ones, like a tiger cub or dog
It was a flip of the coin whether they loved him or clawed the crap out of him
He is still gentle with your animals and loves giving them treats, one of the reasons you fell for him, eventually warms up to the larger ones
Eventually your animals warm up to him, but he still tries to avoid the intimidating tigers and bears
Sometimes your birds will try to make a nest in his hair
Yuri Kagarin:
If you're a girl, he didn't care
"Getting bit and scratched is worth talking to you, Y/n darling~"
Will help you take care of them just to spend some time with you, even if his arm is nearly ripped off
Will happily pet even your most ferocious tiger, and would always give them treats when giving you gifts
He personally prefers the fluffy animals, no matter how big or scary and will talk in Russian whenever he soothes them (and you-)
He really doesn't mind your animals, eventually learning their names and coming to love them all
If you're a boy, that's all the more reason for him to stay away from you
Your birds will definitely try to nest in his hair-
Your animals will also chase him every time he insults you or even comes close, making any attempt at a relationship that much harder
You probably won't get together unless he finds you being kind to your animals and other girls, and eventually him
Realizing that not all men are bad would make him reconsider, but it would still take a while
Unless the above or an animal plays wingman, you probably won't get together
Syobai Hashimoto:
He thinks your pretty badass and isn’t intimidated at all
It would probably be a while before you get together, even though the animals are harmless compared to people he's dealt with, he is still cold and generally mean which would piss your animals off
Your animals would definitely hate him
It would be up to you to befriend him, but when he accepts you as a friend (a hard task in itself) and your animals accept that you like him, he would eventually learn their names, even if it's just to shoo them away
It’s annoying having to share you with them, but he learns to deal with it as long as they give the two of you some privacy every once in a while
Would probably ask to hire one of your intimidating animals as a bodyguard or somehow incorporate them in some kind of scam
Not afraid to bribe them with treats to get alone with you (Most times, to his surprise, it doesn't work, congrats you got loyal friends)
Mikado Sannoji:
Your animals hate him the second they see him
Why? He's literally the mastermind
For a while, him trying to get near you is like a scene from a comedy movie, the animals just won’t let him close
He tried everything! Scaring them away with fireworks, bribing them with treats, using Monocrow as a negotiator/diversion, nothing worked!
You basically have to talk with him yourself, and he’s very happy when you do
The second you see to tolerate him, he won’t leave your side
“Sorry everyone, Y/n already approved my presence!”
He’ll stick his tongue at them when you’re not looking and cling to the side of your arm
It doesn’t matter how many claw marks or bird droppings he gets on him, he’s happy to be with someone who cares about him

Finally reached volume 27. 26 just about killed me, and I'm so anxiously excited for what's to come.
what are your thoughts sojiro and the kimono tying scene? I doubt there's any emotions on his part, but it seemed he took longer/more care with Yuki's than with Tsukushi's. He said it was because of Tsukasa, but I wonder what you think?? Am I reading too much into this or was he telling the truth?
Sojiro's feelings are a complicated topic for everybody involved.
Before answering your question, I'm going to warn you that it might be a little spoilery depending on how much you remember the manga ending.
and it also turned into a dissertation
Now going to the actual answer:
On one hand, he was just doing his job and probably tied the yukatas of the other characters (oh God, imagine the comments Sakurako made), or at least of the ones who don't know how to tie a yukata (which gives us... uhh... idk how many of them know how. I'm gonna bet Shigeru knows and maybe Akira too). And Makino has always exaggerated their relationship in her head and was even more alert than usual because of Yuuki's confession at the shop.
On the other hand, Sojiro feels a lot of affection towards Yuuki. You can see how he treats her in a much softer way compared to other girls, like in the yukata scene you mentioned, and how he is always interested in the topic of her. Sojiro is also a very horny gentleman (or at least he wants to believe he is) so he tries to act nicer to girls he has some kind of affection or attraction to at least before he sleeps with them.
(But also the way he treats Makino is not a good comparison because these two are like annoying siblings who pick on each other, so he would be harsher to her no matter what. lol)
Sojiro's actual feelings are a complicated topic I believe even he is unable to give a clear answer about. The boy has fallen in love in the past (with Sarah), so he is definitely able to feel romantic attraction, but he feels unable to do it again because of his childhood trauma. But at the same time he wants to feel love again!!! He is still looking for it during one of his outings at the ending of Hana nochi hare:
Tumblr media
Poor Akira being the therapist friend again
And it's tragic! Stop Sojiro's suffering! Let my man be happy! With Yuuki! It's why I prefer his ending in the Kdrama and the versions after it. They give him a more hopeful ending. I get the message the mangaka was trying to send by making them not end up together (players won't magically change with the power of love and insistence). And I think she is right in a real life setting, and their story in the manga is beautiful in its own way, but I also care too much about Sojiro to see him suffering even five years after the ending. lol
I can fix him.
Or make him worse.
But going back to the topic of Sojiro and Yuuki, Sojiro claims he can't love Yuuki because he is not sexually attracted to her but (besides the obvious scene near the end of the manga) he has shown sexual interest in her at the beginning of the manga during a party.
(It sucks that all my sources are not in english so i can't put it here but, chapter 17, volume 3. Let's all pretend there is an image here.)
Knowing this, and how much he would call her cute back then, I believe his interest in her did start as some kind of sexual attraction, maybe even a crush, but it died as soon as she became closer to him. Again, that's his trauma working.
Knowing this, can we say Sojiro's affection to Yuuki is romantic in nature? Who knows! It's not unlikely, considering he falls for her in many adaptations. But Yuuki is very important to him either way and that's why he was acting like that during the yukata party. He cares about her in his own way.

And don't feel the need to answer this because it would probably just get you hate, but it really does make me wonder about the um .... quality and loyalty of DR's "friendship" when his Hollywood "friends" feel comfortable treating his grid "friends" this way. And with DR's recent comments comparing Max to a sloth etc. etc., it really wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities for him to be shittalking and bodyshaming his "friends" behind their backs. (And frankly, as a Lando fan, I'm still pissed about those ESPN articles he allowed his PR team to publish shittalking Lando. Nothing about Daniel has seemed genuine for years now, and someday he's going to come to the realization that none of it was real. He was NEVER entitled to a championship like his team told him, especially not with quite a few more talented drivers joining the grid - his newfound "prodigal son" storyline with Red Bull is just using him for publicity - and any of the friendships he could have made along the way aren't even real because he allowed his friends to be harassed and attacked so he could pull off his "i'm a WDC worthy driver, i just never reached that goal because EVERY team i've had has unfairly prioritized my evil younger teammate" narrative that he uses in both the media and on DTS).
Stepping off my soapbox now, but even if Lando never wins a race or a championship, I would never regret supporting him the way I regret ever supporting DR. He's grown as a person, and its been lovely to watch Lando's character develop throughout his career. And it's clear he has a kind heart, even if he does have foot-in-mouth disease at times, from the way he was there for Mick trying to be supportive on the weekend he lost his seat - to the way he recognizes that Yuki is often overlooked and chooses to appreciate his driving this year himself - to the way he would praise Oscar's driving, even on weekends that didn't end the way he personally would have wanted them to. He's so sensitive and so attentive but he at least tries to be good. There's others I can't say the same about.
i agree wholeheartedly<3

For the trick or treat ask, I would love to know what are your headcanons about Mawis and their interactions with the other drivers please 🙏🏼🥺?
hello!! thank u !! this is fun to brainstorm !!
god okay i think people who baby-max raced with will definitely need some time to adjust to the idea. one, because lewis was already a legend in the making before most of these guys even entered F1 and two because lewis is .... old. er. older.
but also, and i live in a world where homophobia's a unique disease only a very small amount of people worldwide carry, the grid would be generally really accepting of it all. mainly, probably, because these are two legends of the sport who are absolutely capable of outperforming everyone on the grid and you'd want them on your side. two, because it's also none of their business, really.
lando would love it. at first, he'd be a bit conflicted about max being basically his age (max is only two years older) and having grown up together and then big, legendary lewis hamiton who lando grew up looking up to is suddenly smooching his friend. but he'd get used to it and be really stoked. he'd wedge himself in between as some sort of adopted child, going to parties and going wild with max and martin and then being brought home safe by lewis.
george would hate it. he looks up to lewis in a way that i think he'd sink to his knees and suck his dick if lewis asked. and he doesn't really seem to get along with max (maybe out of some twisted loyalty to lewis/merc, maybe british pride, maybe jealousy). he'd be okay with it but he'd also look away when max chats up with lewis and gives lewis a kiss before he heads to his own garage. he'd probably very loudly Not Have An Opinion which really is a thinly veiled opinion of its own.
checo would look at max like, really? oh. really? and max would nod, maybe lewis would be there and max would squeeze lewis' hand, and then checo pats max on his shoulder and goes on with his day.
daniel would make jokes about it to try and ease the mood, but personally i'd think he'd make max a tiny bit uncomfortable with it and lewis politely laughs along. basically, i think daniel would respond the way he does in the last chapter of three small daises.
fernando would awkwardly congratulate max and lewis, but he's also in a position where he's too old to really care about other's business, so he just makes a few well-meant comments and then changes the subject back to racing.
oscar would. would just 🙂👍
yuki would, like lando, somehow find himself in this position where both max and lewis are completely endeared by the young driver and want him to do well, so it's kind of adoption as far as non-parental colleague-adoption goes. yuki would be totally stoked about this, looking up to both drivers.
alex would be very loudly and sweetly confused and also excited about it. he likes both max and lewis, so it's great for him. he'd be the only one that can make good gay jokes about it. non-offensive gay jokes. he'd also know when a comment from a journalist is meant in a lowkey homophobic way and he'd also glare angrily at it or even answer the question in a completely normal way that fully takes out the gayness of the equation.
charles, to me, feels a bit more distant from both lewis and max than lando or alex do. so, i don't know. i think he'd be happy his friends are happy and he'd make a nice comment on it, maybe even send a gift basket or whatever, but he'd also go back to work and sit happily beside them on the presscon couch the way he does now.
carlos would make jokes about it with max that are supportive, he'd be Normal about it to lewis. i think he'd generally be quite supportive of this relationship.
k-mag would be genuinely stoked and sweet about it, hulk would make an ehhh comment that gets one glare and a half from max and a 'i'm gonna pretend i don't get it'-response from lewis and then he'd know his place. he means well, especially to max, i think.
valtteri would be...valtteri. happy for lewis, that he's in a good relationship, unsure how to Behave. not in a homophobic way, more in a my-colleagues-are-dating way. in an i-didn't-expect-this way. he does smile nicely whenever he sees lewis happy so that goes for max as well
i don't know lance, esteban, pierre, logan, or zhou well enough to make a comment if i'm honest.
christian and all other red bull personell that worked there in and before 2021 will seriously have to Adjust to the idea solely because lewis is and will always be, a rival.
phew! tough question! anything i put here might very not be the case if i'll ever end up writing these drivers interact with canon!mawis, but we'll see! it was fun to brainstorm and also made me realise how little i know some of em lmao
[context; trick or treat! receive a three-sentence-fic, drabble, headcanon, sneak-peek, last sentence i wrote, new fic idea, random line from a fic, an idea for a sequel or behind-the-scenes info!

Obey Me! Characters meeting Twisted Wonderland Characters
Request commented and made by @r4yyyyy
Hope it’s up to your standard<(^-^<)
May contain spelling errors. Maybe a bit OOC but eh.
Ace and Mammon
Riddle, Trey, and Lucifer already feel an headache coming-
At first they didn’t like each other all too much because both of them were glaring at each other every time the other interacted with Yuu or Yuki.
After confirming that no, the other isn’t trying to flirt with your best friend/human, they started to talk while Yuu and Yuki had to do something
And soon enough, Mammon was already asking Ace if he wanted to rob a bank.
And Ace being, well, Ace
Actually agreed to it, despite Deuce telling him that no, he shouldn’t do that unless they want both of their heads taken off by Riddle.
But Mammon persuaded Ace by telling him he, a demon, can easily defend both of them from Riddle, “just a human with magic” in his words.
Well, uh…
Not only did they fail to even get inside the bank, turns out Riddle’s collars affected demons way worst than humans.
Since demons don’t have a medium where magic flows out(ex. the magical pens NRC and probably RSA have) I’m going to take a guess that their magic circulates all over their body.
I’d compare their magic to like blood circulation or mana, so collaring Mammon would stop the magic from flowing into his head like blood would, making him light headed.
Now poor Ace has to deal with Riddle and Yuu’s anger.
In conclusion; chaos duo.
(Can be “chaos trio” but Deuce would probably refrain from interacting with those menaces)
Lucifer and Malleus
I’ve never heard silence quite this loud…
But once one of them decide to break the silence(probably by Malleus asking a question about something in Devildom that interested him) they’d probably exchange knowledge about their respective worlds.
“Overblots?” Lucifer would ask.
“Ah yes, I can see why someone would take interest in that, but first I should probably explain what exactly is ‘blot’.”
(Satan was interested too, he was probably eavesdropping)
The next time Yuu and Yuki see them both they’d be talking animatedly.
“Ohmygoshmyheart— why are they so handsome when they smile?!?!” Yuu and Yuki would collectively gush.
Sebek and Belphie
“Do you hate humans too?”
“Very much.”
And that sums up pretty much all their interactions.
But that’s because it’s the only thing they have in common.
If Sebek shouts and wakes up Belphie from his nap, hope to whatever deity they believe in the Valley of Thorns that Sebek gets back to Twisted Wonderland alive-
Someone get Beel and Silver to keep their brothers’ at bay.
Trey meeting Barbatos&Luke
Trey and Luke would get along immediately because of their interests in baking.
Barbatos was introduced to modern kitchen equipment and is absolutely fascinated.
Like Trey would show him a mixer and he’d be like “Dear Diavolo! You’re telling me I have been mixing things by hand when this contraption exists?!” and yes his eyes are indeed sparkling.
The fact that Devildom is actually behind modern technology is so hilarious to me-
All of them would exchange recipes.
Trey may or may not unofficially adopt/take Luke under his wing to teach him more about the recipes;)
Satan and Deuce
You’re just a little bit too much like me~
They both have a side to themselves that they want to hide from other people.
And the fact that both are related to their tempers is just— they pretty much kin each other ig.
Since Satan doesn’t really have a reason to dislike Deuce, he tolerates him.
Satan thought he and Deuce wouldn’t be that close.
*Satan’s older brother mode activated*
But he pretty much treats Deuce as if he’s his little brother.
Probably teaches and helps Deuce with his grades.
Would give Deuce books he has read and liked.
Satan probably teaches Deuce metaphors and euphemisms he had picked up over the years.
“Wait so washing feet can mean…?!”
“Hahaha, that would be the case.”
And by extension, Asmo would probably treat Deuce as if he’s his brother.
Asmo and Vil
Ahahaha, *Yuki and Epel nervously sweating*
Gosh if Vil even tries to point out something he thinks is “wrong” about Asmo’s skin or outfit?
He’d get it back 10 fold.
“Now that’s not how you wear a scarf you potato-”
“That should not be coming from someone whose colored hair tips look absolutely fried.”
“They look so damaged that it might even rival the way you part your hair and that ridiculous crown accessory you have.”
So Vil would either explode from anger or actually cry.
And Epel is just amazed. Like sparkles in his eyes amazed.
Rook is now walking eggshells around the both of them.
Asmo would probably call out Vil for his unnecessarily harsh insults/“advice” he gives to his dorm mates.
Asmo can and will annoy Vil by hypnotizing Rook and make him do whatever he wants to annoy Vil.

oh man do I have thoughts on Daniel going to red bull. unfortunately I have so many I am not sure if I can organize my thoughts in a coherent manner so here is a list.
1 it's certainly a take to be mad at one team to release your favorite blorbo for underperforming and then celebrate when he replaces a different blorbo at different team under the exact same circumstances
2 what is the long term plan here? RBR must not be that concerned about their post Max plans despite that man very clearly saying he is done 2028. developing/ restoring Daniel is great pr sure but both Checo and Daniel are considerably older them Max and Yuki is not a viable replacement for Max. I understand that seems like a long way off but if they don't promote a junior by 2025 they're going to be screwed. it will be 2019 all over again but without Max to pick up the slack (Alex I love you, you did amazing all things considered this isn't about you, it's about RBR and their ridiculous expectations on rookies)
3 nope, Lando isn't a viable option. If he wanted to go he would have.
4 what happens if Daniel under performs as well? I know everyone thinks that after the first race or two he will get his bearings and beat Yuki and really that's all that matters. points would be great but it's more a measuring stick between Yuki/Daniel then actually improving the teams standing in the constructors cup. But everyone also thought Nyck would soundly best Yuki and that didn't happen.
5 I like Daniel I do, but this does not seem like a heartwarming tale of a lost boy comes home. It feels like a sad conclusion to a strong of bad career choices. I think it would have been a better move for him to try different series rather than come back, but that's just me.
6 f1 has a history of not treating their so-called prodigal sons all that great upon their return. Alonso returning to McLaren was rough. Hell, even Kimi, back to ferarri, was not stellar. Kimi had the luxury of being Kimi, of being Mr. Cool, Mr it's more like a hobby to me. Daniel does not. Daniel cares a lot, I feel. which is a credit to him, but also comes back to bite you when you can't/ don't deliver.
6 and finally, while I truly think and feel the above things, I recognize that I would probably care about the optics a lot less if it was my favorite driver making their return to the grid.

The Karate Kid Part II (1986)
Tumblr media
The Karate Kid Part II has just enough scenes to make it a good movie but it’s a disappointment and a major step down from the original film. Unless the latter chapters turn out to be amazing, this is the kind of sequel that belongs in a box set. You would never go out of your way to add it to your shelf but if you just happened to obtain it, you're not sorry.
Six months after the events of the first film, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Ali have broken up, and the karate champ is living with Miyagi (Noriyuki “Pat” Morita) while his mother works in Fresno. When Miyagi learns his father is dying, he and Daniel travel to Okinawa Island. There, Miyagi is forced to confront Yukie (Nobu McCarthy) the woman he loved but was forced to leave behind, and his vengeful old rival, Sato (Danny Kamekona).
So much of what made the 1984 film succesful was the budding romance between Daniel and Ali. To see their relationship tossed away in the first scenes of this sequel is frustrating. It doesn’t feel like an organic development at all, more of a “the actress didn’t want to come back again” hole Robert Mark Kamen had to write himself out of. The void does give Daniel the opportunity to get close to a Japanese girl named Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) - a relationship that parallels the one between Miyagi and Yukie - but it feels rushed. By the time they’re announcing their love for each other, you want to tell them to slow down and quit exaggerating. I mean what’s Daniel going to do? Move to Japan so they can be together?
The best scenes in Part II center around Miyagi and Daniel. Their relationship has evolved since we last saw them. Daniel trusts his mentor - though not completely, as the man is full of wisdom but devilish tricks as well and sometimes, his advice doesn’t seem to make sense. Their time together means they’ve moved on to a point where both can learn from each other. As a pair, the actors are so good and it’s a delight to see Morita in this role again. He’s a great actor, and Miyagi is a great character.
But you probably didn’t come to see a Karate Kid movie for the tender stuff. You want to know about the bad guys and the action. On the upside, this film successfully raises the stakes. Daniel isn’t fighting in a tournament where three hits means victory. He’s going up against Sato’s nephew, Chozen (Yuji Okumoto), a vicious bully who delights in abusing anyone who’s afraid of his uncle - which is basically everyone. You love to hate him (maybe not quite as much as John Kreese or Johnny, who make brief appearances at the beginning of the film) but he also has the worst scene in the entire film and it comes right at the end, single-handedly dropping this movie down at least a half star, maybe even more.
Consistently, The Karate Kid Part II is almost there but not quite. A lot of it feels a little too convenient, or manufactured. As you’re about to write it off, it’ll have a great scene between Daniel and Kumiko, or between Daniel and Miyagi, an unexpected moment of depth, or a pleasant snapshot of Japanese culture. I appreciate the way it shows that anyone - regardless of where they came from or studied - can abuse martial arts, and instead suggests that it’s those with truly “empty hands” who will learn to appreciate the strength and wisdom it provides… but I also question the reason why this movie was made.
Overall, I’ve decided to give The Karate Kid Part II a mild recommendation. It has some laughs and memorable scenes. It’s a treat to see (most) of the characters one more time and you'll appreciate the heightened stakes. The good outweighs the disappointing ending, rushed love plot and lesser story. (On DVD September 24, 2021)

Hello lovely! I hope requests are still open, if not, just ignore me. 😊 This is maybe a strange request, but I'm a basic country bumpkin girl and I'm curious as to what your headcanons would be of Hongou, Harada, and Yuki Masashi from DNA would be like as farmers, and how would they react to coming home to their cute little farmhouse after a long hard day to their sweet wife cooking supper?
Admittedly, this is a little strange, but out of the ordinary asks are always welcome!  I will say though (and this is NO judgment on the ask or on you dear anon) something about the phrase ‘sweet wife’ makes my skin crawl lol  It’s definitely a personal squick, I don’t even know why, there’s literally nothing wrong with it?  Ignore my ramblings – sweet wives coming up!
I hope this is what you wanted… I went a little more generic than specific scene than I meant to, but I hope it’s still good!
Hongou Masamune
Even farming, this one is a little grumpy.  He treats his farm like he treats baseball in canon.  Serious business, hard work.
We’re going to assume that he has farm hands/employees here, and he works them to the bone.  He’s a fair boss, but tough, and terrifying in some cases.  Still, somehow all the workers love him?  They are rarely that intimidated.
This is because every single person in his life knows that he is 1000% devoted to his wife, and said wife would be displeased if he treated anyone on their staff poorly, and it goes without saying that to disappoint wifey is off limits to anyone.
Not that he would admitted it, and the look one would get if you say such a thing out loud would probably kill you.  Pretends his wife isn’t his whole world, grumbling and complaining when his workers tease him.  Doesn’t actually realize he gives himself away when he visits the house like 10 times a day to check on you.
Steals kisses every time.
He works hard so he likes to be pampered.  Complains about any food but yours.  Always makes you sit down when he eats because he wants to hear you talk and watch and make sure you are eating enough.
His favorite time is when he’s done for the day and he gets to go home.  Lurks for a while, though you know he’s there, because he likes to just watch you scuttle around the kitchen humming.  You’re so cute and lovely it actually causes his heart to ache.
When the ache gets painful enough, he steps into the kitchen and steals you up into his arms, just hugging and snuggling you for as long as he can get away with.
Harada Masatoshi
It’s much easier for Harada to delegate than the other two.  He works really hard, but he has better time management skills in general, so he has more time for himself, and conversely, you.
He’s strict with his time.  Of course, there is a lot of overtime on a farm, since things never go to plan, but somehow he makes these sorts of surprises seem negligible?  He is god tear organization.
He’s probably the calmer one in the relationship, steady and supportive.  For him, there’s no such thing as tasks that are ‘male’ or ‘female’  He will absolutely do housework if it’s needed, and often does just so that you don’t overwork yourself by stretching yourself thin.  Never tells you that you can’t work the farm as well.  However you want to divide the work is fine.
A secret part of him prefers it when you work inside, because then he gets to come home to you and there’s a special satisfaction in that.
He’s affectionate, but in subtle ways.  Fits his style to match yours, like if you want more demonstrative signs of affection, he’ll give you kisses, or initiate touch.  In general, the type to wait for you.  It’s just how he is, but he never disappoints you.
Is gentle and surprisingly soft.  He’ll help you when he comes back to the house, rather than sit down to rest, no matter how often you scold him for it.  He just can’t sit when you’re still working, so always finds needed tasks, even without you telling him.
He will never say it, but if you reward him with a kiss, his whole day is made.
Yuki Masashi
His focus tends to be so singular that he forgets certain things, and takes things for granted.
Things like you.
That’s not to say he isn’t a good husband, or that he doesn’t love you.  Quite the opposite, it’s just that he has a one track mind that makes it hard to deviate from that one track.
If not interrupted, he will continue to think about farm things, even when he’s eating and supposed to be spending time with you.  Of course, you have to know this when you marry him so I imagine that you are well versed in distracting him.
His intense focus is not entirely negative, however.  Once it had shifted to you, you’d better hold on.  He listens very well, and very intently, and takes all of your concerns seriously.
Looks to you for guidance in responses, but over time he learns what he needs to do until it’s instinctual.
Never hides anything from you, no matter how ugly it might be, and considers you his best and closest friend.  He loves your smile, and the soft curve of your cheek and the way you smell when he buries his nose into your neck (quite the challenge given how big he is).
In his mind, your relationship has always been a partnership, no matter the context.  When he comes home, even if he hasn’t snapped out of his work brain yet, he is able to relax, and being near you is all he really wants subconsciously.  Tells you about his day without you asking and has the habit of pulling you into his lap as he sits at the table to do just that.
