Welcome to another Moth Rant™
Right, so ya girl is back on the Transformers grind set rn (the special interest is back with a vengeance)
So Megatron and Starscream yeah?
SOME (I’d like to make it very clear i ain’t talking ‘bout alla y’all) Starscream fans are SO fucking ANNOYING
Y’all go outta y’all’s way to baby him like he isn’t a FUCKING WAR CRIMINAL???
My brother in Christ he is not Megatron’s innocent little victim, he tries to kill Megatron frequently. HES JUST AS BAD
Conclusion, y’all are fucking strange, they’re just as bad as each other, and the fact that you bitches feel the need to just straight up lie to decent y’all’s favourite character is fuckin strange, like come up with a better defence dawg 💀
No hate to the normal Starscream fans, and as much as it doesn’t sound like it i do like Starscream (in the way that i bully him frequently)

Jesus Tap Dancing Christ.
“The decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq. I mean of Ukraine.”
That’s one hell of a Freudian slip.
Disgusting how everyone laughs it off.

Jason, in therapy: Dick is the golden child, I could never come close to his level of perfection nor be a good son my second time around... Not that I hate him for it, kinda hard now since he's there to support me, made me come to therapy.
Damian, asked who's the good child: well it's Richard of course, he's what I inspired to be.
Tim, talking about the greatest Robin: he started and set what every Robin should be, it's insane how he adapted to this lifestyle!
Cass, asked who's her favorite sibling: I don't have a favorite but Dick is one I can count on for anything, he's a good brother.
Steph: oh I know goodie two shoes won't do anything that would be anywhere near stealing, come on Wally, stop lying.
Duke: I don't think Dick can do anything wrong, I might be signal but he's the light of Gotham so I can't believe he's done anything wrong, I mean he ran away but that was mostly Bec Bruce hurt his feelings. No, I think the only thing he ever did anything wrong in his life was maybe stepping on an ant, he's a good guy and an amazing big brother, dramatic as hell but still a good guy.
Dick's good child times
Bruce, at his last straw: the Geneva Convention was not a checklist for your war crimes! You're 8yo, you shouldn't be a wanted man by the government!
Dick, sassy pants: correction, one I'm a wanted child, okay. Two, I didn't use it as a checklist, I added onto that list. I improve that list.
Bruce: your a wanted criminal, you set a man on fire!
Dick: whatever geezer, can you leave now I'm doing my homework or now it's an issue for you
Bruce: it is now, you are grounded, no, your beyond grounded your... Your forever grounded!
Dick: wow, you went to a the best college out there and the best you come up with is "forever grounded", why I'm even studying at this point if you're supposed to be smarter than anyone in the world.
Bruce: you're a nightmare.
Dick: and you're losing to an 8yo, now tell the government to shove it where the sun doesn't shine and leave me alone.
Bruce: I'll... I'll forbid you to see your friends then, ha whatcha going to do about that one.
Dick: leave to see them like always, just like I do to do my "crimes". This game getting boring, take the lost.
Bruce: this isn't over young man!
Dick: uh huh, yeah.

There's a common trend of people saying they hate characters like Malenia, Ranni or Marika because their actions led to thousands of deaths. Which I guess is understandable.
But then they tell your their favorite character is Godfrey or Radahn and just-

Leo being put into a situation where there is absolutely no fighting, just verbal manipulation and perception games, would be amazing to witness. We see a lot in the series how good he is at subterfuge and how he uses his perception to manipulate to great effect, so it’d be so cool to really see it put to the test even more.
Manipulation is one of the most effective tactical strategies of all time, so just imagine Leo putting this skillset of his to the full test. Imagine the boys slowly get up to busting bigger and more powerful criminals, including those with networks of crime under their belt, and a simple fight isn’t enough to take them down. For criminals like this, Leo’s skills in subterfuge would be deadly.

I was re-reading my favorite clone comic (Defenders of the Lost Temple) and I just hope Horns lived through the Clone Wars and got adopted by a True Mandalorian remnant clan somewhere.
He wants to connect with his heritage so badly…and assumedlly he picks the coolest sounding Mando group to idolize (there seem to be a lot of Death Watch stans in the GAR since we see the Death Watch symbol as a semi-common helmet decal…did they think Jango was Death Watch? Did a trainer introduce them? Or did they choose Death Watch to distance themselves from Jango…?)
And he’s just so joyfully into the idea of being Mandalorian:
Tumblr media
And then of all fucking people, Bo-Katan and Pre Vizsla have to show up and break his heart by calling him a ‘pale imitation’ of a Mandalorian because he’s a clone (and possesses a moral compass I guess)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Horns immediately resigns himself to death 😭 When he was so happy and energetic and overzealous for the whole comic up until this point.
But thankfully Glitch quickly steps in to save his brother…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And of course Pre Vizsla has to hassle him too and call him a “gene scraping” and a “poor copy” 😒
Anyway.
Jaster would never stand for this bullshit. Justice for Horns.

Regarding the movie, I just had the mental picture of Luigi in your AU using the mini shroom on Bowser so he can get to carry his kooky Koopa boyfriend around for once XD
Huh. This might end up being Luigi's pet turtle instead of Peach's.
Tumblr media
Now I just have the mental picture of Luigi taking Bowser out of the castle to sort of 'rehabilitate' him (aka: teach him how to be somewhat normal, lmao!), and he just sits on Luigi's shoulder and hisses like a snapping turtle at anyone who gets too close.

I’m glad Maes Hughes died.
He’s a fan favorite character and I enjoy him a lot too, but I think fundamentally he’s a character who has to die. His role in the narrative is to haunt it.
I might be even more of a weirdo because I enjoy his manga characterization over his Brotherhood or ‘03 portrayal, but I love the idea of Hughes being someone the Elric brothers barely know - someone we, the audience, barely see.
Until he dies.
Because suddenly he’s everywhere. He was Roy’s friend and Armstrong’s superior officer and Winry’s acquaintance and Elicia’s father - and he was the soldier both Ed and Al knew, but didn’t actually know, that got killed because of them anyway.
In the manga Winry stays at Hughes’ place, but Ed and Al enter his house for the first time after they found out he died. For them, it’s not about losing a friend (though I am sure they liked him just fine) because that story is already Roy’s - for them it’s about realizing that this plot they’ve involved themselves in kills people that aren’t actually directly involved at all to begin with. It makes sense for their allies and friends and loved-ones to be targeted by the antagonists - but a soldier who mostly joined in because he was at the right (or wrong) place at the right (wrong) time? That’s not supposed to happen. And that’s what makes Hughes’ death so hard on them.
(and poor Elicia - abandoned children without their fathers were always a weakness of Ed’s)
But Roy? Yeah... he suffers. From the moment of Hughes’ dead on, Roy is haunted by it. By him. His best friend follows him everywhere. We see it in the way Roy only involves himself in the plot because Hughes figured something out and Roy is desperate for answers. He hunts down the homunculi to save this country, sure, but mostly so he can burn his best friend’s murderer to the ground. When Riza talks about winning against the Führer and their military dictatorship, she talks about all of them, not a hint of revenge coloring her vision - but Roy? It is telling that it isn’t a greater ideal that makes him torture Envy, but the agony of his best friend’s death.
The thing that almost breaks Roy is Maes.
No.
It’s Maes’ memory haunting the narrative.
And isn’t that beautiful?
The tragedy of it all, the horror, and the realization that Roy Mustang never really recovered from the War, that his friends are the only think keeping him in one piece, the fact that Roy Mustang is a Hero and a Monster and a fallible human capable of love.
Maes Hughes has to die to remind all of us of what Roy Mustang is capable of: love, loyalty, devotion.... and the slaughter and torture of numerous people.
His ghost is haunting the narrative - and for that I love him.
