Also, other somewhat random question, this time about Mer!Draven. How is his usual life? Like, what kind of things does he do normally, and how different is he from his non-mershark self? Besides the hunting demons part.

Mer-Draven is a very territorial mer, so his life is mostly patrolling his territory and hunting for food. He mostly hangs near the darker depths though, so it's not very likely to see him unless you're a diver or a mer who wanders a little too far down! He's not particularly hostile to mers who aren't a threat, and will either scare them off or, given that they need to get through his territory, he'll escort them because of some particularly dangerous wildlife.

Personality-wise Draven and Mer-Draven are pretty similar, though Mer-Draven is probably more relaxed since he doesn't see his hunting and patrolling as a job or a necessity, more of instinct. Interestingly, Mer-Draven does do his own form of "demon hunting", since the area he's claimed as his territory has quite a bit of more hostile animals in it. He keeps their numbers low so smaller less dangerous wildlife can thrive in the areas nearby. (He's got a bit of a soft spot for small creatures!)

Agnes/Estinien. Prompt fill from Emet-Selch’s Wholesomely Debauched and Enabling Book Club for “magic lamp” featuring Agi, Estinien, and the Varlineau kids. SFW.

Five moons into her fourth pregnancy, Agnes Varlineau sat on a comfy couch in the middle of a cuddle pile. On either side were the elder set of twins Marcelin and Hamignant with Esme next to Marcelin, giving him a big hug. The younger set of twins Philipine and Laurent were in their little pack and play, napping. Hami, as he was affectionately known in the family, would not stop rubbing his mummy’s tummy.

“Hami, do you think mummy’s belly is a magic lamp? Keep rubbing and make a wish, little love!” Agnes giggled and wrapped an arm around his tiny shoulders.

“Saying hi to baby sister, mummy. Wish she’d come play!” Hami giggled identically to Agnes. The Varlineaus found out yesterday thanks to Y’shtola that Agnes was having a girl. A girl after four boys. Finally! Not that I don’t love you my sweet boys. Mummy wants to break out those cute baby girl clothes again!

“She’ll be here in a few moons, Hami. And remember, you have to do what when she’s very little?”

“Do nice, mummy.” Hami replied dutifully. “Gotta do nice to babies.” He continued rubbing and patting his mother’s tummy.

“Mummy, can I make a wish too?” Marcelin asked, eyes wide. He began rubbing the other side of Agnes’s belly.

“Of course! And you too Esme!”

“Wish for cookies!” Marcelin laughed and gave Agnes’s tummy a kiss.

Esme, grinning like her father, gently caressed Agnes’s belly. “I wish that Bapa would come home right now!”

“Wish granted, Es.” Estinien came through the door to their apartment in Radz-at-Han wearing Iceheart and placed Nidhogg in a special closet. Esme and Marcelin scrambled to their father who bent down to give them a careful hug. Always mindful of Iceheart. Always. “You staying with mummy, Hami?” Estinien asked with a twinkle in his eyes.

Hami nodded vigorously. “Gotta stay with mummy and baby sister, bapa.”

Oh Hami, never ever stop being so warm-hearted. Never.
