Batboys x Cosplayer!reader (preference)

Requested by the great @middevil465: Batboys dating a cosplayer,but downside is that they have to put up with their sewing at 2am

Dick:

Okay so this boy will be your biggest fanboy

ESPECIALLY if you cosplay him as Nightwing

(Not to be kinky on main, but depending on how..uhm... showing... the costume is he might get a bit frisky if ya know what I mean)

He wants to help as much as possible

You have to finish sewing that cape, but your wig isn’t styled yet? Don’t worry, Dick has enough expirence from his long hair phase to take care of that for you!

You want to cosplay a certain hero (or villain), but can’t fid that specific item that would make the cosplay perfect (maybe a weapon, a mask, etc.)? Dick might or might not steal borrow said item from the original hero for you (of course he gives it back after you had a photoshoot or something similar and he always feels a bit bad for the hero (not for the villains tho))

Now to the “downsides”

Dick, unlike some of his siblings, actually rather enjoys sleep

“I need my beauty sleep, all this perfection doesn’t come from nothing”

And he is honestly torn

He loves and supports you so so so much and he understands that you can be your most productive around the nighttimes, but he just came back from like two to three hours of patrol after a whole day of working at the police station and he honestly just want to sleeeeeeeeeeeep

So he finds a comprimise and fucking sound isolates the room your sewing in

It’s a win-win if we think about it and you probably would go as far as to just completely take over the room to make it your own little cosplay studio

Everyone sleeps is happy

Jason:

Jason is a whole ass hurricane

Don’t misunderstand me, he loves your hobby and he thinks it’s cool, but how excited he is depends on who exactly you cosplay

Him? Amazing, showstopping, great, breathtaking, nothing more amazing ever happened in this triste gray world before that

Robin (also slightly depending on which incarnation)? Cute, want to cuddle, 9/10 would do again

Batman? “That looks nice babe, you can take it off now” (Please don’t wear a more feminine toned (or just in general reaveling if you’re not female) batman cosplay. Jason is not ready for that amount of daddy issues)

Someone like Harley, Ivy, Selina? Hell, even penguine or Riddler? He digs it for some reason and he might even show the respective rouge a picture of the cosplay (if he knows that it’s not possible to identify you).

They all love it, possible have a little fanclub

You cosplay as any other hero? Depending on how much of a little fangirl Jason is he will be really exsited and happy with you

Now, if you, for some unknown reason like losing your brain, because quite honestly that’s what it would take for me, decide to cosplay the Joker...

Welp, you’re single now... Sorry not sorry, but Jason is not okay with that

But that’s just a real extreme so let’s get away from that again, shall we?

Jason is used to being kept awake at night, be it from his thoughts or his nightmares (Housten, we’re sinking to deep)

So when he comes home from patrol around 2/3 a.m. and finds you sitting in the living room or the bedroom on your sewing machine (a gift from Bruce so state of the art technology and relativly silent, BUT NOT SILENT ENOUGH)

He just sighs

He might just sit down beside you and watch or chat a bit or, if he feels a bit more touchy, stand beside you and braide your hair

When you’re finished he’ll pick you up and cuddle with you in bed, trapping you effectivly for the next 8 to 10 hours

Tim:

Did someone say couple cosplay? Because Yes. Yes you do

It isn’t that Tim ever really thought of doing cosplay or plans to use his rare free time to do it, but as soon as seing you cosplay literally anyone, he’s sold

He is a gigantic fanboy, has you cosplaying him (not Red Robin, just Tim) as his lock screen and you cosplaying Red Robin as his home screen

He’s not sure what it is, but one day he’s just sitting at his computer doing Wayne Inc. stuff when you send him a picture of you cosplaying someone and just has a metaphorical lightbulb over his head

He sneakily finds out who you will cosplay next and luckily for him it’s Zelda

He puts everything in order and the day you want to test the cosplay out, see if everything goes together and you can pull it off, a wild Link appears

He did one hell of a job for his first cosplay (he might have had Wayne Inc. designers for the upcoming clothing line do it, but who cares amiright?)

After that it’s kind of a tradition that once in a while the two of you pull off a couple cosplay and it’s the cutest thing ever

The highlight was when you cosplayed Batman and Catwoman on a (private) halloween party, just with the catch that you had it gender bend so Catman and Batwoman (not the Batwoman-Batwoman, but y’know what I mean), not breaking the character to the amusement of everyone present (excpet maybe Bruce who acts annoyed, but kinda thinks it’s funny)

So now to the nights

contrary to popular belief I do think Tim sleeps more than an hour or two at times

Maybe not in a healthy rythm or with any logic behind it, but he does

Mostly

Just not nights for the most part, it’s mostly in the afternoon after a few hours at Wayne Inc, or the homeoffice or college (depending on which Tim!state we’re thinking off) and before Patrol

so when he comes home to find you sewing he’s actually rather happy

He won’t let you go to bed after you’re finished until you’re really tired or if you have something important the next day

You will watch a movie or do something stupid or even go out and see what Gotham city can give you around 3 a.m. (of course with a hidden weapon on tim’s part and him not letting you out of sight)

Those nights are his favorite

Damian:

Damian, like so many things, doesn’t quite understand

What’s the appeal of dressing yourself like someone you’re not?

Why do you wear fake hair?

He also doesn’t seem to see any connection between him dressing up every DAMN NIGHT

It’s two completely different situations for him

It’s not like he does anything against that hobby of yours, but at least at the beginning he just keeps out of it

That most likely will change if you ever decide to cosplay him (as Robin)

If he comes to visit you after school at your place and he walks into your room (given your parents opened the front door for you) seeing you in a surprisingly good replica of his costume?

Bby boy is sold

The better the replica looks the quicker he is to fuzz over it

After that he kinda sees the point behind it (or not, but he supports it now and wants you to have even better, more detailed, costumes)

He’ll get you so much stuff

You want to cosplay someone, but the only wig you have that fits is a bit too long?

Well hillerihoo, you got a new one that fits perfectly and is almost life-like now

Don’t ever mention that you don’t feel comfortable with him spending so much money for you, because he won’t stop

He’ll find his ways to spoil you, believe me

quick interruption before we go to the night part:

If you’re Damian’s GF, you’re most likely bound to be good friends with Jon

So it’s only a question of time until he asks you to cosplay him

If you do he’ll be excited like a puppy you just gave a treat while Damian will pout

A lot

And I mean A LOT

You’ll either have to suffer through a few days of pouty Damian or you make an even better Cosplay of him (as Robin) or Batman (both works for him since he sees himself as the future Batman already)

That’ll make him happy again

Now to the night-part

Okay so let’s assume we’re talking about Teen!Damian (obviously also Teen!reader!!!)

You two won’t be living together so that won’t be a problem and since you’re living with y’alls parents and I will assume they won’t be happy about you sewing at 2 a.m.

Also, Damian will offer to have people make the costumes for you, but he will let that go if you tell him that making the costumes is a big part about all that, the part that makes it so amazing

IF we’re talking about grown up!Damian and Reader and the two of you live together, it’ll be a lot similair to Dick (in as he get’s you your own little cosplay studio) so that he won’t be kept awake by it

but somedays he’s more like Jason and will stay up with you and to keep you company during these creative sessions

HC: Myself & a DC Character

RULES: Write a little headcanon about yourself and one of your favorite DC Characters

Thank you for the tag @pricetagofficial !! I LOVED MAKING THIS

SO THIS IS ME AND TIM DRAKE EVERYONE!!

We’re total night owl buddies. Forget being a morning person, I would gladly spend the rest of the night basically doing anything with Tim until we start falling asleep but heh, as if that would ever happen.

Call us the Studious Students because whether Tim loves getting work done or not, once he starts seeing me all occupied with finishing school-work, he’s gonna grab a chair and start doing his as we can both help each other = saving SO much time.

I’m not a crazy coffee person like Tim but I love me some SB fraps -- you could see us making each other some good coffee or having dates at either Starbucks or Coffee Bean or literally ANYWHERE that serves coffee.

Neither of us can cook well. This calls for the perfect opportunity to always take each other out on dates or have food delivered at home. I feel like Alfred would be so disappointed in us with the fact that we could probably set the kitchen on fire with a single touch of our non-cooking fingers.

ROMCOMS!! You know what’s gonna be happening on a Friday night. AND THAT IS ROMCOM NIGHT! This the time where I educate Tim with Romantic Comedies because I’m an expert in those sorts of things. “TIM I SWEAR IF WE DIDN’T DATE, I’D THROW MYSELF AT HUGH GRANT.”

Being best friends with the batboys. Like super best friends. Dick’s that supportive and ‘always be there for you’ brother, Jason’s the overprotective and person I love joking with, and Damian, who has total respect for me, would constantly be an extra ear and listen to all my rants and vents.

Hugs with Tim are the best. I like hugging only specific people and Tim’s obviously one of those people on my list. I think he’d be okay with me hugging him 100 times a day whether it be a tight hug, a hug from the back, a side hug, and so on. He’d probably develop my obsession for hugs and do the same.

Club Penguin buddies. Whenever we have free time, catch us troll people online or play CardJistsu with each other. I’m pretty sure he’ll find a way to hack. Whether it be knowing what cards I use or give our accounts loads of money and all, he’ll find a way to hack.

So far, that’s it with me and Tim. Who knows, I could add more?

Batsis!reader x Roy Harper (HC)

Requested by a marvellous Anon:

Headcanons for batsis being really close to Jason and her dating Roy? (his best friend)

A/N: For the sake of the story, Roy and Jason have already been friends when he was still Robin

You and Jason have been siblings since even before Bruce adopted both of you

In fact, you both lived on the streets together and when Bruce caught Jason trying to steal the Batmobile's tire (you’ve been in your hide-out since Jason didn’t want you in danger), Jason insisted on you getting adopted too

And so you became a Wayne and Y/S/N

You loved all your siblings, but Jason and you had a special bond.

Now let’s finally mention Roy

Since he’s your brothers best friend, the both of you are on pretty good terms

Not quite friends, but also not unfamiliar

That changed when Jason was killed

Not only did you detach yourself from your family (you didn’t really hate Bruce, but you couldn’t help yourself from blaming him and yourself for your brother's death), you also started to get more self-destructive

You stayed out way longer than you usually did, went into the most dangerous districts during your patrols and neglected school

Bruce wanted to help you, but you’ve changed so much

Your usual cheery and talkative personality did and 180° turn

Now you rarely talked and he hadn’t seen you smile since Jason died

Roy came over to the mansion one day to bring you one of Jason’s Sweaters he had left at Roy’s place

He was sure you’d take it, thank him and close the door again, but when you took the sweater, you broke down crying

At first, Roy had no idea what to do, but soon, he took you in his arms and calmed you down

After that, both of you became closer, bonding over your mutual grief over Jason

And soon, you found yourself blushing when he hugged you and had Butterflies in your stomach when his hand brushed yours

You cursed yourself out for feeling like that, not knowing that Roy felt the same if not even more for you, and tried to suppress it

At least until Bruce talked to you about it

He was not really happy that his little girl was growing up (especially not if that meant you’d come together with someone like Roy), but he hadn’t seen you so happy since your brother passed away, so he knew that it was the best for you

So, one evening, you and Roy were walking through Gotham, talking about every- and anything, you decided that it was the closest you’d ever come to the perfect moment

So, when both of you were standing in one of the parks in Gotham (in front of a fountain, y’know, ‘cause: Romance) you took his hands and took a deep breath

“I have to tell you something.” “Is everything okay?” “Yes. More than okay...I- I think I’m in love with you.”

Guess who loves you too: HE DOES!!!

What followed was not only your first but also the most intense kiss you ever had

When you came back home, you couldn’t wipe the smile away from your face

You were so sure that you and Roy would finally be together as the couple you hoped for so long you’d be

Well...it didn’t really come out like that

Because Jason came back and with him came the Drama

So now, every time the both of saw each other the mood was kinda odd

You thought he had moved on

The level off misunderstanding is painful

You were an (In Hindsight) pretty bold, talkative drunk, so one night when the three off you were sitting around, just chilling with some alcohol, you just straight out told the both of them that you still loved Roy

To bad that you were the only one who was already drunk

“Roy, my friend, Can you tell me why my dear, lovely sister is in love with you?” “Uhm...”

Let’s just say a quite violent fight ensured

But Roy somehow managed to convince your brother that he also loved you

After he also endured the questions from your other siblings and your father the both of you finally became the power-couple you are to this day

Let’s just say it has ups and downs to date your best brothers friend

Ups: You don’t have to worry that he keeps something serious from you since he talks to Jason about everything and Jason talks to you about everything

Downs: both of them team up to prank you

Ups: Fewer people to invite to your wedding

Downs: Fewer people at your wedding, so you can’t hide from that one friend of his that always got a bit to touchy when drunk (He’s not his friend anymore)

But all in all, everyone included in the situation was pretty happy about it

Jason is only a bit pissed that he can’t be the godfather of his best friends child since he is now also the uncle

C: What member do you identify with most?

Of the batfam, probably Dick. Just with what he went through in life with bruce and his responsibility to his younger sibling and all. He an all-rounder. He's bubbly and humorous. I don't have his charm or good looks though 😂

H: How would you describe your style?

Just very comfortable😂 it's almost always oversized hoodies I stole from my dad and brother paired with tights. When I go out, jeans because it's cold all the time, sometimes a dress. I'll wear casual shirts or blouses with denim or corduroy jackets and absolutely LOVE sweaters. I'm cold 24/7 365. I'm an ice witch so don't shake my hand, you'll freeze. I wear my hair in different types of ponytails sometimes but usually leave it down and I love jewelry. I'm a jewelry fiend. I always wear earrings and usually necklaces.U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

So many. I look up to @internalsealpanic 's vocabulary and @batarella's smut skill. I looove the way @catxsnow writes storied because she always uses just the right amount of dialogue and the interactions are always so cute. @anothertimdrakestan is great at starting stories and giving them titles. I live for these guys mannn. My new obsessions are @brklynrogers and @batwngs. Also add, I love how @river-bottom-nightmare looks into characters, analyzes them and their stories on so many levels and then rights them accordingly. Literally she's so good at it. She writes little mannerisms and characteristics for people that hint at how they cope with their lives and it gives characters so much humanity. I'm fangirling.

hi frankie! no worries you’re not being annoying at all! i don’t write for dc anymore but i do still occasionally read fics etc so it’s all good :) but yeah i haven’t really come across many smau’s for dc which is pretty disappointing but i’ll just share a few that i’ve dug up in the past?
