Self care is just as important! We must practice what we preach in wellness. Don’t wait for pain to magnify itself or numb it with 💊. Be proactive. All night my left shoulder was bothering me it was referring all the way down my arm. There is many elements that could have triggered the flare up, but the most important thing is to not allow it to magnify itself. As a Therapist and my tools which are my hands are always at work and possibility of being overworked is a given. Taking some Tx - magnetic cupping, it helps with bringing new blood to the surface and therefore healing and recovery takes place. Using the magnets with in the cups helps with pulling on the cellular concept aspect, flushing and recovery. Treatments should always be tailored to your specific needs. Just because you see a treatment being done, or a friend got it done and saw results; it doesn’t mean that’s the treatment you should reverie!!! Treat every day as a blessing, for tomorrow is not promised. Take care of your Holy Temple inside and out. I may not get to do as much as I would love to, but it’s important to practice what I preach to others for myself. We put our bodies through vigorous daily activities, even when we are just sitting in front of a computer our muscular system is adapting patterns. Question always arise like I haven’t done anything I just turned or “woke up” with this pain. Pain comes as a reaction that your body is telling you it reached it’s point of overload in that area. Irritation is taking place and sometimes is more complex than just that. Symptoms of pain is just the sign what lies underneath could be years of wear and tear, that we have done to our bodies and never treat until the PAIN is present. Don’t wIt got pain!!!! Level ⬆️.... Stay moving🏃🏼‍♀️... Your level of training depends on how your body may be feeling n responding. It’s important to listen to your body, as well that you have someone whom can assess how you are moving... Many of us initiate regimens and have many underlining issues in our muscle tissue; that can later turn out to a bigger ISSUE🤔. Be proactive and take care of yourself. Get therapeutic treatments and have your muscle tissue “TUNED UP”... 🚨How many miles are you past your tune up🙄?... Compound movements and HIIT training. I have found through the years that this style of regimen works very well for women. First trainer to introduce me to it was @ken_s_wawa, he’s absolutely awesome and well his work speaks for itself. Understanding your anatomy and works best for you is imperative and that should apply all across the board. Tailor your regimens to what your body responds best to. Had a long week blessed to do God’s assignment to heal others. Self care should always be a part of your regimen. We put our bodies through so many activities that are strenuous. What does this mean? Your muscle n skeletal system is pushed to different actions and cause irritation/stress/inflammation/dysfunction which if not treated it will lead to pain, sprain/strain or injury. Be Proactive about your health and get manual therapy/body work done. Keep your body functioning at 💯% capacity of how it was ordained to work. Everyone has a different budget, but at least try to do 1-treatment every quarter to keep you functioning and boost your immune system. Just like you tuneup your car🚙, You have to Tuneup Yourself!!! Hellooo my beautiful people🤗! Haven’t posted in a while, but that doesn’t mean I have forgotten about you❤️! In the event that we are Quarantined decided to make some video tips. Foundation is KEY. Our form in how we execute an exercise is so important! Doesn’t matter the weight or the reps if the fundamentals of proper body mechanics is not there. YOU just began a path into muscle dysfunction and possible injury. It’s great that we want to be active and fit, but we must understand the importance of RECOVERY treatment and REST!!!! In the videos am demonstrating a simple exercise that many times is done improperly. The 1st-3videos I am not wearing resistance bands. The 2nd set of 3videos I am. You can clearly see that with the bands am able to ground my feet much better and the stability of my trunk(mid section) is better as well. The other major thing that I observed as well that I could actually go deeper into a squat and truly engage my hams/gluteus area. What does all this say that because of patterns created from muscular dysfunction, there is weakness in my stabilizer muscles which can lead to low back/hip pain. It’s imperative to be seen by therapist that know what muscular dysfunction are going on in your body to be able 1. Correct them 2. Rehabilitate them 3. Have full function of our muscles and how there suppose to operate. My passion is to help others not only function better with out pain, but bring joy, peace and happiness back in there life. Pain is never fun and you shouldn’t live with it or numb it with💊Meds. Be proactive and take care of your Holy Temple. Am here to help🤗❤️🙏🏼✝️. 🚨Functional and truly activating your muscles is very different than just doing the movement with momentum. It’s not about how many reps you can do or how much weight you can pull/push; it should be is are u actually doing it properly!!!🚨Please have someone assess if your property executing your movements as you perform the exercise. This will avoid you getting injured !!!!! In this video am demonstrating a very simple yet challenging glutes/core and stabilization exercise. Notice am not rushing and doing as fast as possible to get more reps. I take the time to push through my bend knee/hip extension and really contract my glutes as I reach full range. The band is medium resistance that allows my entire core/stability/balance to be worked. Am asking keeping my core tight throughout the entire movement. As simple as it looks it’s giving me a thorough work out not only to major muscle groups but also stabilizers; which most times get left untouched.
