Something I have been thinking a little while....

My life had such a great turnaround in April. I was gifted the unexpected soul I needed, sent to me by ancestors from the Spirit World. A kin of culture that is so likewise to me, I quickly found a soulmate. As happy as I am that my butch found me (in the busiest coffee shop I was employed at) wanting to teach me about being femme and wlw lifestyle, the only thing I'd change is meeting eachother way sooner in life.

I'm not saying that I'm against meeting up in mid-life, or that I'm not willing to work with someone to fix our insecurities from previous relationships in order to find happiness.... what this post is REALLY about is the fact that the love of my life didn't know that they deserve to be taken care of in a relationship, too. That real love is requited, and not a feeling of walking on eggshells to please and it's not always hot and cold. To get as much as you give, and vice versa. That real happiness is possible, it's not just in the movies. Or even worse, something you weren't capable of.

How often it breaks my heart that my stone has to THANK me for letting her touch me, look at me, talk to me, etc, or even ask consent to do these things as a bonded pair... like this wasn't normal for you before? That just makes me feel sorry, to know you weren't worshipped or respected properly. You deserve the same love you want to so desperately give, and I'm here for it.

Anyway- I'm just glad I have my twin flame now. I'll do my best to keep showing what love and care feels like in return, and to protect you as much as you protect me. You sure are worth it. 😘 You're my gift that keeps on giving.

It's a way of removing your own consent in your own decisions and go against your wishes, it is always a crime against yourself. Let yourself have a say.
