I am so thankful to CxG for how unabashedly the show embraces cringe. Rebecca is a messed up person, usually in ways that are not "cute", poetic or dark (which I feel like is often how mental illness gets somewhat romanticised in media). Her behavior is so often embarrassing, pathetic, childish and generally cringe-worthy.

And I still love her and root for her, and fully believe that she deserves happiness.

That means so much to me. Because if Rebecca – an embarrassing, pathetic, shameful mess – deserves happiness... then maybe I – an embarrassing, pathetic, shameful mess – do too.

I could watch/read/write a whole prequel about Harriet and Caroline. Their relationship is so fascinating to me and so under-explored in canon. How did things get so bad between them?

Last night I read this book called "I've never been (un)happier" by Shaheen Bhatt. I don't think ive read something so honest ever. It's a book about depression more like her experience dealing with it

Reading it I realised that i was so lucky to have never gone through that thought process that feeling which makes you feel to just end everything

Its not a enjoyable book because shaheen didn't write it for people to enjoy. So definitely it will disturbing to some people but I think EVERONE should read this book

We all think that we know how depression feels but the truth is no we don't. It can only be understood by people who've gone through it. Having reading the book I just got the gist of what its like and I got so scared.

I still can't understand how people who are in depression deal with it

I honestly cant beacause when I ve bad days I just cry very badly and it looks very ugly but sometimes there comes a point when yhere are no tears and it makes everything more frustrating

Shaheen describes this in a very haunting manner.

This is not a review of her book, its a plead to all of you who are reading this to please read that book

#i like the torrent/blaze/overgrow abilities actually #theyre underrated just bc theyre on all the starters and seem useless most of the time but #low-health power boost is really cool and feels satisfying when your starter pkmn is in yellow/red health and has really powerful attacks
