June's Silk and Sonder Journal Came Today

I adjusted my mood tracker based on the moods I noticed throughout the last few weeks. Mania is definitely a mood. Blah is definitely a mood. As far as habits go, these are ones that I know I can keep up with, but often miss more days than I would like to.

I like the idea of the fitness tracker. Can help me be more present and mindful of what I do (and don't do) everyday. If nothing else, I can have a place to see how many steps I had done all month 馃槄 I also made a tracker to get myself outside more. It's gonna be Summer and a year of covid later, would be wise to get outside more often.

The self care bingo is a bit more in depth this time. More variety, more color. And I'm actually using the monthly expenses tracker. Definitely helps put in perspective what I spend every month on subscriptions and things. The bottom half I'll just use to write in what I actually spent each week or something.

I got the chore chart going, with room to make notes for any other house projects I want to get done. Complete with cleanliness quotes! And I'm going to try and quit smoking, like for real. Keep an eye on what I'm smoking everyday, with the goal to be less and less as time goes on.
So, I'm still using May's journal, but not quite as efficiently as I should be. But June's is pretty well set up because I'm taking full advantage of the washi tape, stickers, and color pencils I bought 馃槄

I think a good deal was water retention.
In the first photo I had gained back some weight after being steady in my loss and the drinking crept back up to a few glasses a day minimum. Not great! I was super lethargic and learned earlier that day that I had severe a B12 and D2 deficiency, which helped explain my worsening depressive episode. So I got prescription vitamins and have more energy to use my therapy tools, so while brain goblins are a thing, they're more manageable.
The second photo is about a month of minimizing drinking (once a week max) and maximizing vitamins and movement. I was already eating a lot of vegetables, but I started mixing it up and adding more fruit. I have a produce subscription with a local farm which covers the basics (three years now!), but I've made an effort to grab additional colors from the store to get a daily rainbow and out of my cooking rut.
I also started pushing myself more in workouts, and paying attention to the heart rate. Hard to believe two years ago I was running races, but because I've done it before I know I can do it again. Being able to be outside has helped a lot, but I can't always rely on that so I've built contingency plans for rainy days or times we just can't get out.
Even though I'm frustrated that I let February and March really get away from me, I'm proud of myself for turning it around and being intentional every single day. I will have more stumbles, that's life, but I can accept that and move myself forward regardless. Nothing is linear!

Oh we're doing Outfits again?!
Yesterday was exhausting but so fun. My office is close to the museum so I quick changed for dinner because now is not the time to be understated. I regret not wearing my fitbit but I know I was up and about all day so that's what really matters. No obsession here!
Today I'm stopping by a friend's place for brunch on the deck before heading over to Druid Hill for a good walk since we have been in a while.
I have work to catch up on and laundry to do but all I want is to frolic outside, so I'll do that until dusk and then be responsible....

Spent an hour and a half at the salon 馃檭

This poor woman gave me a pedicure, ripped half my eyebrows out, and did a wonderful job on my nails. She's my new favorite technician and definitely earned that $20 tip. I don't know how much you're supposed to, but she did a lot more than just the job. I feel loads better mentally and emotionally.
I swung by Sally's after, picked up some serum and a couple of make up things. Once I got home, took another shower, put in some leave in conditioner, slapped some serum and moisturizer on my face, and ate dinner.
Gonna hit the hay a little early tonight so I can get an early start tomorrow. I don't know if I'm going to the gym yet or not, but I'm at least walking to Target. And, if I decide not to go for some reason, I can always go for a hike in the woods.

Keto day 4! Breakfast is fried zuchinni with bacon. Who said you had to have eggs for breakfast on keto? Eggs are ok but definitely couldnt have them everyday so i switched it up!

I am doing my 30 minute walk for the day and all I can think of is how much I want to stop.
My mind has not been for my walks at all recently. I just feel like laying in bed and scrolling in my phone.
I know that if someone else was struggling I would tell them 鈥淵ou will feel better if you go! You can do it!鈥 but I can鈥檛 take that same advice.
I am back from my walk now and I do feel better. I am making steps to being healthier and it does make me feel better. I just know that I need to be consistent. That鈥檚 really it.

Sometimes dinner is a lush beautiful salad......sometimes it's zucchini, jar sauce, and enough gardein balls to get my protein minimum......but hey a dish doesn't have to be pretty to be great!
We're going on a date tomorrow so I'm being extra prudent for the lead up so I can just enjoy our day. I haven't had a cocktail made by someone outside my immediate circle since February 2020 I am SO READY!
