The Zombie Look | What You Looked Like Being Sleep-Deprived
Sleeping is important. As to how your favorite things are, your favorite clothes, family, loved ones, etc. But why is sleeping being taken for granted by many especially on adults? But wait! What does sleep deprivation means?
Sleep deprivation is lacking or having insufficient sleep than your usual sleep. As an adult, you should have at least 7-9hours of sleep in a day. Failing to have the usual or normal sleeping hours might cause a problem to your health or worse, it will cause a serious problem.
People think that having 3-5hours of sleep is enough and is okay if you then take vitamins or a multivitamin afterward but no, it doesn’t work that way. Being able to have a good and enough sleep gives a great and a different impact on your daily performance; it might be at work, at school or anywhere. Having good health is also having a good night’s sleep, the good food you eat and daily routine exercises to do. Everything you do, eat, and practice reflects who and what you are.
Having sufficient sleep is just one of the factors that will help you function better on every day. When you are at your workplace, classroom or in a particular place, have you ever notice someone that is not functioning well and is out of the blue? Well, that person might be sleep deprive because of something or someone.
There are many reasons why someone acts unusual, a little bit off or maybe short-tempered. These are just some of the behaviors that you might notice on someone who is sleep-deprived. Although there are some bad effects of being sleep deprived, you can still do something to slowly stop or practice to have a good sleep or bring back your nightly routine which is sleeping 7-9 hours every day. But, it has to take time to achieve this. Start it by planning ahead of time; what to wear for tomorrow, to-do lists, plans for the weekend, etc. This helps you to think less of what you needed to do and it will also lessen your time thinking on that very day.
Discipline. The only principle you need to develop for you to be able to achieve something. You cannot just do something today and not continuing it by tomorrow. Yes, it takes time so you should be consistent and be motivated to continue something you had started. Think of it why you started to assess what possibilities might happen if you stop it. It is now or never; a do-or-die game. Choose you. Always value yourself. Choose to be healthy; seize the moment while you still can. Because, as they always said, ‘Health is wealth’.
