Do you ever think about how Alisaie's biggest fear is losing the people she cares about? How the very first conversation you have with her alone, a deeply personal one, is about her confiding in you about those fears? Telling you that she hated the state of the world Louisoix died for because, to her, it wasn't worth the sacrifice? She tells you about all the allies she made and lost, who she watched die and could do nothing to save them.
Do you ever think about how Alisaie was consistently one of the first to act, to recklessly throw herself at danger throughout stb? She didn't care (as much) about herself getting hurt, but she'd be damned if she let her friends suffer without doing anything. She has to be fast and proactive, because if she can't protect them even when striking first, how would she be able to when acting after the fact?
Do you ever think about how every time her loved ones are in peril/are in risk of being in peril her heart just breaks? How whenever someone's safety is unsure she panics and immediately tries to contact them/rush to their aid? When Castrum Abania's cannon shot the tower that, for all she knew, Alphinaud was still in, she immediately stops what she's doing and runs to it in panic because her brother was in there and he might be dead.
Do you ever think about how when the Scions start getting their souls yanked to the First, Alisaie reacts the strongest? How, when Urianger and Y'shtola got taken, she fell to her knees shaking Uriangers body, screaming for him to wake up? And when Gaius appears with Alphinaud in the Burn, she immediately goes to fight him (before being stopped by Hien) because this man, who has been her enemy, is holding her brother's lifeless body. She doesn't care that she can't possibily beat him, he has her brother and she's already lost so much in such a short amount of time. She's lost Thancred, Y'shtola and Urianger already, she can't lose Alphinaud too.
Do you ever think about how you are the only one she can fully rely on at that time, but who is also at risk of being taken away? Of how she's so desperate for you to stay, to not be taken away, that Alisaie, who, for all her bluntness, prefers to rely on herself first and foremost, begs you not to leave her? She begs you. Alisaie does not beg. She yells at you to not do something, and she'll scold you to hell and back if you do it anyway, but she does not beg. But this time she did.
And then she ends up being taken away right in front of you. She cries out for help and uses her very last energy to reach out for you. And then she falls limp.
Do you ever think about how, when Alphinaud turns to tell her his plans at the end of Ultima Thule, she immediately rejects it without even letting him say it? She's lost so much and experienced so much grief, not only overall but also just in Ultima Thule. And she loathes to bring that grief onto another. Especially to one who has already lost so much, like you. She hates it. She ends up doing it, yes, but she hates it still.
DO YOU EVER THINK ABOUT-

what gets me re: kevin with jean is that kevin is seriously the worst. like we see in-text specifically that kevin used to lean into jean’s space to whisper to him and it seems it was common enough to him that he didn’t think much of it (he did it once for asking jean to teach him french then again to make jean promise not to off himself), he said horrible things like ‘it could be our secret’ and ‘i don’t want to lose you’, he wrote jean memories and notes in postcards, he bought jean silly little magnets, even up to the point of tsc canon he was cradling jean’s face and gently touching his hand. so flirty! no wonder jean was down so horribly. no wonder nora sakavic said kevin was always the problem child

Tav with the Sussur Tattoo
I imagine my Tav, Husk, has this beautiful floral tattoo that starts from the nape of her neck, follows the shoulder blades, and works its way down her arms, ending at her hands. While I haven't worked out all the details yet, I'm certain that the Sussur flower is on the back of her hands. As a monk, her body is her weapon, and the flower's anti-magic properties make it a good representation of the mage slayer* feat I had her take.
My silly thoughts on the matter:
Once Husk realized there would be a wizard in her midst, she'd be more contentious about having it openly displayed. It felt wrong, and she would rather not have to deceive anyone, but there is strength in numbers, and she'd rather not enhance the feelings of uncertainty and stress in the moments of the unknown.
I can imagine the reveal happening when Gale tells her about his need to consume magic items. When he says something about it being a good choice to trust her and how thankful he is, the 'secret' would feel pretty heavy on her conscience. She'd have her own "Hold that thought." moment as she comes clean and hopes he doesn't hate her entirely. Mistrust, absolutely she'd expect nothing less, but she'd secretly hope that he would still keep an open mind about it given how she wasn't pushing the topic of why he needed the items.
It would also be about this time that she acknowledges that she quite enjoys this wizard man's company and figured it would only be harder to tell him as time passed. Husk would definitely be leaning into the "Just rip the band-aid off now and get it over with" mentality. Husk would feel 100 times lighter having said this out loud, and her hands would thank her for not having them in a set of gloves at all waking times.
*Mage Slayer was taken for backstory purposes, but by the gods, it's a great feat! I would have slept on it if it weren't so relevant, and I recommend trying it out at least once in a run through. <3

the disregard for Belly’s happiness is something I expect from the other side, but is so disappointing when it’s your own fandom
the fear/expectation that Jere’s character is going to be dismantled and denying that because you know the show has a narrative to push but not saying a word about the potential destruction of Belly’s character to further said narrative and expecting of it of her because she broke Jere’s heart in season 1 - and not considering, oh this is fucking bad writing too
The DISCONNECT
Show Belly, I’ll always love you, and that C endgame is not it for you

after yondu’s funeral, kraglin made it a point to borrow a ship and return to the location of the eclector’s wreckage. from there, he retraced their flight path and began picking up the bodies of the loyal crewmen ( the bodies of his friends ) who had been spaced during the mutiny ( the mutiny he’d sparked ). he brought them back to the quadrant and made sure they each got the proper ravager funeral they were owed ( because he knows, better than anyone, what being denied the horns of freedom does to you ). he will always regret not doing enough to save them in this life so he made sure that when his card finally gets punched, he can reunite with them all in the next.
