According to Chloe The Hedgefox/ Chloe Heartrocks I remembered back in 2019 while completed helping her with the footages of myself I made on her Holiday Spoof of How Donovan Stole Christmas, she’s planning on doing a spoof version of her own called Olive the Other Reindeer. The story about a brave dog voiced by Drew Barrymore heard that Blitzen was hurt, and must save Christmas, has been a great special even though it had been underappreciated. Upon the release at my birth year of 1999 of December 17th, it has included the Simpsons actor, Dan Castellaneta as the dastardly Postman. Along with the late Ed Asner as Santa Claus, the special is a wonderful addition to the Christmas Canon. So, here’s my cast of my uplifting childhood show of the Holiday Season. 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess season finale speculation and prediction

Okay, so, I make it no secret that one of the anime I enjoy this season is 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess. It's a really fun series, though there's something odd going on with the series. Obviously, spoiler warnings. I'll put the rest behind a read more, but it's going to be a major spoiler.

So, last episode, they introduced and neatly wrapped up Gekkou's arc. The strange thing about it is that they actually revisited an older chapter, as they went back to chapter 47 (the Krall chapter with the dog), went on to chapter 62 (the dream chapter), then did chapters 82 and 83 (the youth spell chapters), before going back to chapter 71 (the pizza chapter). So, there's precedent of revisiting older chapters to neatly wrap up each story arc.

So, I want to do a little prediction, and it's going to be a bold one.

I think they're going to introduce Sakura Heartrock.

So, throughout the series, Princess has talked about a friend who betrayed her. In her flashbacks, she's been portrayed as a pink-haired girl. Later, in episode 10, during Vanilla's "torture" with cards, she again talks about that girl, showing her having a tea party with her.

Except the tea party only appeared in chapter 126, the episode where Princess and Sakura are reunited.

So, what I think they'll do is adapt chapter 97 first, which introduces Sakura. Then they'll adapt chapter 100, which is a callback to chapter 1. Next, I think they'll first do chapters 106 and 113, though they might switch the order. Both are Sakura centered, and both can't be shown after chapter 126, since both chapters still work under the assumption that Sakura doesn't know that Princess is also there.

Then as a season finale they'll do chapter 93, the chapter where Torture isn't sure if she's going to continue being Princess' inquisitor.

Look, the only thing I'm certain of is that they'll be doing chapter 93, as that's a great season finale. You're unsure whether Torture or the rest will stay on, so it ends with every inquisitor assembling while the end credits and the series opening start. If they don't do that, 'tis a missed opportunity.

I'm also fairly certain they'll adapt chapter 100, as that chapter only works if the series is still fresh in your mind. Sure they could leave it for a season premiere, but I don't know, I feel like putting it in the final episode would work great, especially if it's after a lore-heavy chapter like chapter 97.

However, there's one chapter that could delay Sakura's reunion with Princess, unless they drop chapter 106, which is chapter 96, which is just starts off as a regular chapter, and turns into a lore chapter at the end.

Of course, they could just adapt an assortment of chapters, like chapter 91 (a very cute Vanilla chapter), either chapter 72 or chapter 94 and 95 (all three Krall chapters, though 94 and 95 are both connected), and, let's say, maybe chapter 98, and Inki and Youki chapter. Maybe also drop in chapter 90, a Maomao chapter. That way, we can leave Sakura for next season, plus, we still have plenty of other older chapters to adapt anyway, so it's not like we're running out of chapters anytime soon.

The desert beyond the Red House, Dwelling place of The Druids, 2452 {2000 years before the culmination of the S’ruthan Civil War}

Miriz swept shavings of red stone carefully away from under her chisel as it moved. The work was rapid and skilful. Her reach extended through her hands and into the tool, understanding the surface of the Heartrock almost without need of her eyes, but she kept them open anyway – the better to be sure that the intricate and specific angles could be perfectly rendered. There was no margin for error.

Carving was curiously easier in the womb of the Cordis Halls, beneath the Red House – despite the lack of light. The sheer concentration of Heartrock made the work less an action of skill and more one of intuition. Here, beneath the unforgiving heat of the mid-day sun it was a different thing altogether. On the word of the Seers the Masons had cut a five foot by one foot diameter disc of red stone from the catacombs and transported it to a specific position, equidistant between the Red House and what would one day be the edge of The Drey City. Two days walk from either.

She paused to turn her eyes to the horizon where the city would one day stand. Today, it was a placid valley between two low mountain peaks. Those peaks would be sacrificed for ore in the next five hundred years, the stones recut and made new. Even things that did not rot were subject to the life cycles of this world.

She turned back to her work, her knees resting on a cloth pad, sweeping a long braid of tightly coiled black hair back over her shoulder. She was nearly finished.

“I have to admit, I’m scared.”

She felt his presence before the words reached her. Danail stood a little way off, gazing out at the same spot she had been looking at a moment ago.

He wasn’t here, he was in the Red House. But that didn’t matter.

Miriz set down her chisel and sat back on her heels.

“Don’t be.” She replied gently, her voice had a rich tone. “We’re doing what needs to be done, and in good time. It will be alright Danail.”

Danail said nothing, he stared thoughtfully at the place where the city had not yet been built.

“A human though? We’ve seen their world, the whole history is pitted with horror. How do we trust them?”

“We don’t have to trust the whole world, we just have to trust in the ones receiving the message. And I, for one, do.” She countered diplomatically.

Danail looked at her, he was tall with grey eyes and she adored him. For years she had adored him.

“It’s not all about this, is it?” She continued, more incisively.

Danail knew better than to try and lie. “Our daughter, Yara…”

“-Will be loved more than anything in this world, when she gets here.” Miriz got to her feet and approached her husband. She could feel the shape of him, the way space flexed around his presence, even though the atoms of his body were not there.

He shook his head sadly. “But I’ve seen it, we’ve seen it. They won’t be able to cure it…”

“That is how it is Danail!” Miriz uttered angrily, and then not…She sighed sadly. “We can’t undo everything, some things are simply handed to us. Which is what makes the decisions we can take even more important.” She gestured back to the carved slab of Heartstone a few feet behind her.

After a long moment he nodded. “I know. You’re right.” He laughed. “You usually are. I’m just, scared.”

Miriz smiled at him. “Me too my love. But we’re not there yet. Try not to dwell on it for now?”

Danail’s expression lightened somewhat. “I’m probably wanted by the astronomers, getting the shell to do a near two thousand year orbit cycle is a challenge even for them.”

“But not for you.” Miriz glowed with pride. “Go on, I’ll be back tomorrow.” She extended her hand, and it touched the place where Danail’s chest might have been. Something flowed between them.

“Be safe.” He uttered, and was gone.

Miriz, one of the first seers and masons was alone in the desert. She turned and walked back to the circular rock, getting herself settled on her knees again. Her fingers found the line and she resituated the chisel.

This was the exit point, designed very specifically for one individual, and one moment in time. When she was done carving the circuit it would be buried deep in this spot. Even the traveller would not see it.

The chisel wound its way through the stone.

“Whoever you are, Shadow…” Miriz whispered beneath her breath as she worked. “…There’s a lot of hope resting on you.”
