“But the LORD abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment. And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.” —Psalm 9:7-10
“Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations; You established the earth, and it stands.” —Psalm 119:90
“‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’” —Jeremiah 29:11
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” —Romans 8:28
“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.” —Hebrews 4:15
“Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” —Isaiah 41:10
“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” —Psalm 46:1
“God Inspires Our Trust” By In Touch Ministries:
“Our Father in heaven always keeps His promises and never leaves us alone.”
“As far as children can tell, their mom and dad know everything and can do anything. And kids typically don’t question that assumption without reason (for example, if they see a parent mishandle a situation or someone else influences their level of trust). Parents demonstrate reliability by consistently providing shelter, food, and safety—and also by lovingly teaching, comforting, and guiding their sons and daughters. Then the children can sleep in peace, knowing their needs will be met.
Likewise, we know that we can trust our heavenly Father because He has shown Himself trustworthy from the beginning of time. Psalm 119:90 says, “[God’s] faithfulness continues throughout generations.” He has never broken a promise, and His plans for us have always been for our good (Jeremiah 29:11; Romans 8:28). What’s more, God understands our weaknesses and never asks us to do anything that He won’t help us accomplish (Hebrews 4:15; Isaiah 41:10). We can trust that even in the worst situations, He will be with us (Psalm 46:1).
What does trusting God look like in your life this week? Where can you relinquish control to Him?”
[All Bible verses are in the NASB1995 Translation.]

`Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction. In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
Isaiah 43:16 KJV
Through God, all things are possible, and all things may be made a new. Dwell not on the past, of what was or could have been, but rather look forward to what through God's grace, may unfold within his divine plan. Being a Christian is constantly about a state of becoming, of a movement towards the Light of perfection shown to us by Christ. A part of this is to always remain open to Gods' works and feats, emerging all around us. God's will to create and recreate the world is his right as our Heavenly father, and it is not for us to mourn what may pass, but rather to seek to adapt our faith in becoming, or in what is yet to come.
Lord Almighty, creator of the Heaven and the Earth, hallowed by your mighty name. In your presence, I pray that I may bend my spirit to your will. May I not cling steadfast to my past comforts and accomplishments, but trust in your plan for the future. May I seek instead every day to move with you, in accordance to your divine designs for this world. For only you Lord, hath the power to pave a way in the wilderness, and give rivers to the desert. Hallowed be your mighty name, Amen. ★

Hellish Bells
Chapter 4: Paterfamilias Broken
“Charlie.”
Her head snapped up from the wedding book she’d procured from Alastor. The bar was empty this time of day; it was group therapy time. She was just deciding on the cute little bells to hang up around the Heaven Embassy…
Emily was helping them out. After Sera Fell, Emily became the new High Seraph. And, thanks to her, more human souls were being Redeemed than ever before! Which wasn’t hard to beat as Sir Pentious and Anthony had been the only two she’d managed. When Charlie had mentioned getting married, Emily was more than happy to offer the embassy as the location. That way their Heavenly friends could come. Sir Pentious, Cherri, Anthony, Husk, and so many others…!
Alastor was, surprisingly, more willing than Vaggie. He muttered some things about ‘blasphemy’ and ‘deviant’. Which didn’t matter so much, because Charlie and Emily would be there to make sure that he didn’t pull anything funny.
Blinking, she said, “Oh! Dad! Hello!”
Her dad sat heavily into the stool next to hers. He waved a hand and his favored bourbon appeared under it.
Charlie was concerned. He almost never drank! That bottle was from the first batch ever crafted on Earth! What was wrong?
“What’s wrong, Dad?” she vocalized.
Her dad took a GINORMOUS swig of the bottle, apparently thinking. Then he said, “I wish you’d listened to me and your mother about deals…” He rubbed his head. “My daughter, marrying an Overlord…” He sighed. “I wish…” his gaze ventured to her hand with the ring. “I wish I could see those rings. I could figure out something with them. But it’s a personal contract. Only between the three of you. I can’t do anything, not even give advice. I, I haven’t felt this hopeless since I…Fell.”
“Dad, it’s okay.” She put a hand on his. “I know it’s not the best circumstance, and I’m kinda being forced into it. It’s okay! Really! I’ll get the wedding of my dreams, and me and Vaggie will be married. Really,” Charlie waved a hand dismissively, “Alastor probably won’t even care . Political marriage and all.”
Her dad frowned. “Don’t think that, Charlie. Demons have a way of surprising people, and they don’t have the decency to play fair.”
“Alastor said those words himself! He wanted me and Vaggie to get married so he wouldn’t have to deal with it!” Charlie defended.
“I don’t trust him.” Her dad said it like it was something new.
“You don’t have to.” Charlie leaned over, giving her dad a big, solid hug. “You can be my guiding light through this. I trust you to know when there’s something funny going on.” She considered not saying her next piece. Overriding that was her need to be fully honest with her dad. Their relationship had improved drastically, and to hide this would be betraying him. “I trust Alastor to uphold his deal. He always does. And…and he’s kind and considerate to me. I think he’ll treat me okay.”
“Mm-hm.” Her father was tightlipped for a moment before he was cheerful again. “Now, I know that he doesn’t actually plan to do anything to you. It’s better to be safe than sorry.” Suddenly there was a board sitting on the counter, covered in pictures of birth control. “What do you have questions about? Let me tell you, you’ll feel much better even if nothing happens if you’re protected.”
“ Holy shit Dad put that away .” Even though no one else was around, the embarrassment at her dad being so brazen about presenting something like that threatened to eat her alive.
“What? Do you WANT to give birth to Overlord spawn?”
Charlie hadn’t dedicated ANY thought to that particular idea. She WAS Hellborn, so she could get pregnant. Her dad seemed certain it could happen. Children…she hadn’t considered anything about it.
Before she could give any kind of answer - not that she even had one - her black ring magically spat out a little notecard. Charlie looked at her dad. He was still waiting on an answer. Apparently he couldn’t see the card. Curiously, she picked it up and read what was on it.
Monsieur Alastor requests the presence of:
Ms. Charlie Morningstar
Ms. Vagatha Morningstar (provisionally)
For a dinner date in his room today. Please RSVP!
Oh goodness. This wasn’t going to go well. Especially as Vaggie’s name wasn’t Vagatha.
“Charlie? What are you reading? Another little ‘deal’ from Alastor?” her dad said spitefully.
“Not a deal. A dinner invitation.” Charlie flipped the card over. On the back were two glowing words: ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. “I’m supposed to reserve a spot.”
“Hmph.” Her dad fumbled, trying to grab the card he couldn’t see. Frustrated, he said, “Why would you willingly want to interact with him? Stick to the basics and limit your interactions!”
“I can’t do that!” Charlie protested.
He gave her a truly evil eye. “Why not?”
Charlie paused. Why not? Why didn’t she want to do the minimum possible?
The answer was easy.
“Because I believe in him,” she said simply.
Her dad set the bottle down after another swig. “Charlie, I love you, but your blind belief in people will lead to trouble one of these days! Some people belong in Hell . Like Alastor!”
“I understand that some people are meant to be here.” Charlie straightened up. “That doesn’t mean that I harden my heart to everyone! I may get hurt sometimes. As long as I help even one more soul reach Heaven, I don’t mind.” She crossed her arms. “I know you think Alastor deserves to be here. I’m not so sure.”
Her dad burst into laughter. “Really? You don’t think the Radio Demon deserves to be here? Do you know how many souls he’s eaten?!”
“As long as he feels repentant for it, I don’t see how he can’t be Redeemed,” Charlie said stubbornly, digging her heels in on this opinion.
“So what, you’re going to fix a Bad Boy? Do you hear the cliche you’re saying?”
“That’s not what I meant! I mean that everyone deserves a chance,” Charlie explained.
Her dad’s lips twisted before he sighed. “I’ll do my best to watch over you and give advice. The main show, what you want and can do, is between you, Vaggie, and Alastor. I’m a bystander now.” Before she could comfort him further, he opened a portal to his tower and dragged the bourbon with him.
“Dad…” Charlie wished he understood. Everyone had good in them.
And Alastor…he did his best to hide it, to hide his real feelings, but the last few weeks Charlie had gotten a measure of something more from him. Wisps of the feelings behind the smiling mask. She wanted to know more. To bring him out of his shell. To help him realize he didn’t need to keep the barrier around him, that he could let people in.
Thinking that having a nice dinner with Alastor would be a good icebreaker into truly starting the process, Charlie pushed on the ‘Yes’ option on her card.

Isaiah was a prophet during the time of Judah, when the Jews were exiled from Babylon and forced to wander the desert. Times were tough and you can imagine what wandering in the desert and being exiled from your home would do to your morale. Your spirit might be broken and you might cling to items in the past or hope for a better future. In the Bible verse preceding this, the followers are asked to forget the past and consider the new; to remain hopeful for the future, and to behold God's new thing. God has a message to share with the Jews in the desert, and this hopeful verse is used to encourage and motivate them to not give up and to be ready to move out of the wilderness and away from the past. "A way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Although it may have appeared that they were aimlessly wandering, God had a plan. He had been leading them all along. The time had finally come for Him to enact the next step, the new thing.
This verse has encouraged me in times of darkness, when I felt that I could not find the reasons for why God had done something or the right steps to take in order to motivate myself. I felt that nothing made any sense, and that hardened my heart and dashed my hopes. This was my own fault: God had a plan. He led me from the wilderness. He did do something new with something that seemed so wrong to me at the time. I look back and feel regret not for losing a dear friend, but instead for my own behavior and doubts.
Are you going through a difficult time? Does it feel like you are wandering aimlessly in the desert without a guide? Behold! God is with you and always has been. Prepare yourself for a new thing. What is the new thing that you hope for? Keep it in mind, meditate with it in your heart, and trust in God during your journey. Even in the worst of times, we should have been rejoicing: rejoicing that I ever met my friend at all, rejoicing about our relationship, rejoicing that God has a plan. Live for the LORD God Almighty and trust in Him always. For He is our Savior, our strength and our redeemer. Our everything! Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for faithfully staying with us in all times and places. We have not always sought Him and His guidance, yet He has continuously shown us the way back to Him. May He guide everything that we say and do, and show us the way no matter where He may lead us.
May He empower us by His Holy Word and Spirit to live in the light of His Truth, love grace. May our healing and transformation glorify His name and Kingdom of Heaven and reveal who He truly is to others. May He help us to keep close to Him, so that we may endure until He fully sets us free and brings us to our true home in His Kingdom of Heaven. Thank Him for His Holy Word and Spirit. Thank Him for revealing the Truth of Him and His holiness. May He help us to hold close to Him just as He holds close to us, so that we may live in humble and faithful obedience. If we stray from Him and His path, may He use His Holy Word and Spirit to bring us close to Him once again. May He help us daily to trust fully in Him and His love, provision and care. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for making us anew! May He complete His renewing work in us, ridding us of the sinful words, thoughts and actions that aren’t from Him, so that we may reflect only His love and light and presence in us to this dark and fallen world and the lost souls within it.
God is our Heavenly Father, our Creator and our guide. And Jesus Christ is our LORD and Savior and King. As Christians, we trust Him wholeheartedly and we submit our heart and our lives into His skilled hands. May He shape us according to His design and plan for us, so that we may stand strong in the firing furnace and emerge revealing His craftsmanship as He prepares us serve Him on Earth and in His Kingdom of Heaven according to His Holy Word and will. May He give us the peace and endurance we need each day, and may He use this time to help us grow in His wisdom and strength and to grow in our walk and relationship with Him. May He make us more into the person that He not only created us to us to be, but called us to be from the very beginning.
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for securing a place for all true Christian believers as followers of Christ and spiritually reborn children of God in His eternal Kingdom. Each day, the sun rises and its light and warmth, and the Holy Bible gives us a glimpse of the promised eternity to come. May we continue to walk in the love and light of Christ with our heads held high and our eyes on the finish line. May we lead others to His Gospel Truth and to His light as well throughout this journey with Him. Let us all humble ourselves before God daily, asking Him to forgive us and to strength and teach us to view life through the lens of God and His promises. May He guard our hearts against Satan and the temptations of this world and our flesh. May He give us the peace to find full satisfaction in God and His peace and promises, so that we may live our lives daily in ways that honor and pleases Him. As we seek Him daily, may He reveal Himself to us through the words He has provided and use it to conform the desires of our heart to Him and His love and compassion and grace.
As true and spiritually reborn Christians, we love, trust and believe in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ. We choose to keep Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ first in our hearts and lives and all other worldly desires behind us. He extends salvation to everyone, and we want to show the world the freedom, hope and peace they can have in accepting and following Him. We must ask Him to help us grow spiritually in our relationship with Him and strengthen us and the bonds of love that He has given us, so that our unity may glorify and testify to His power and goodness. Thank Him for calling us to faith and imparting us with salvation and righteousness. May He empower us to live in His will and righteousness, so that we may testify to His soul-saving power as our faith carries us past all doubt, fear, and failure. May He grant us the grace to forgive others who have wronged us, and the humility to seek forgiveness where we have caused strife. May we follow and serve God daily with love, trust, awe and wonder. May Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ strengthen our faith, lift our spirits, protect our hearts, and show us opportunities to help bring others to Him and His Gospel Truth daily. May we do this duty boldly, humbly and faithfully. Seek, follow and trust in the LORD God Almighty always! To God be all the honor and praise and glory!
We must come to Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ with sincere hearts to ask forgiveness and follow Him and His Holy Word and Spirit always. We praise Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the mercy He bestows upon us and we are grateful for His grace and mercy and infinite blessings. By surrendering our hearts and our lives to His will, we see all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. God our refuge and our salvation and our constant provider. We lift our voices to Him in praise for His steadfast love, mercy and understanding. May Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ open our minds and hearts more and more to perceive and embrace Him and His truths. May He help us to find time to pray and read and study the Holy Bible daily and to find power in prayer, praying according to His Holy Word and will. May He help us to come to Him in true repentance and with faith in Him and His grace and merciful nature. May He give us the grace, courage and strength we need to walk with Him and do His will daily. May He teach us to watch our words when we pray to Him and to speak reverently and rightly. May we continually ask God to transform our hearts and make us faithful and humble as we walk with Him daily. We must come to Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ with honest, humble and repentant hearts. We must seek Him and His will and choose to follow Him all the days of our lives. May He help transform our hearts, help us to seek and live for Him above all else and to grow spiritually and build our faith and relationship with Him with each passing day. May He forgive our sinful nature and help us always make Him and our relationship with Him top priority.
As true and born-again Christians, we choose to walk in His righteous path and lead a life that is pleasing to Him. We desire Him and His will above anything else. We desire to walk in accordance with the love and light He has shown to us through His Holy Word and Spirit. We long for a deeper relationship with Him and a deeper fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ as well. When we fall into temptation and sin, we must turn to Him for forgiveness, strength and guidance. When believers learn to walk in accordance with God's Holy Word and Spirit, they have deeper fellowship with both God and one another. And the sin that could threaten to destroy that fellowship, if confessed (1 John 1:9), is covered in the blood of Jesus Christ and no longer a barrier between us and God. May we ask Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ to forgive us for any sins we have sinned this day or in days past. May we be faithful to Him and His Holy Word always. May He help us to walk more consistently in the light and to not neglect long to confess and forsake any sins that hinder our walk with Him. May He lead us in the direction He wants us to go so that we may seek and serve Him faithfully. God is holy and almighty and deserving of all praise honor and glory. We rejoice in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, knowing He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is the Alpha and the Omega (Revelation 1:8). May our hearts always be filled with thanksgiving and rejoicing. May He help us to praise Him freely and honestly like all believers who came before us. May we live a life that showcases our love and trust in Him and His Holy Word and Spirit as He uses us draw others to Him and His soul-saving Gospel Truth daily. May He continue guide, correct and protect us, so that we continue to grow in Him and not weaken and stray. May we all remain faithful to Him and to this duty and purpose He has called us to. Seek and put your faith and trust in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ and let Him do the rest. May He humble our hearts and help us focus on following and serving Him daily and helping others with joy and happiness. We lift our voices in praise to Him for His love, mercy, peace, faithfulness and grace - For EVERYTHING!
It is vital that we remain rooted in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit and that we live and walk as a beacon of His light and love and share and spread the Gospel Truth daily, so that the lost souls in this world can come to know Him and be saved. The more we focus on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, growing spiritually by building our relationship with Him, leaning on Him and His Holy Word and Spirit, the better off we will be. Thanks to this and our faith in Him, we know that everything will be alright. And we will forever be grateful to Him. As true and born-again Christians, we believe in Him and His Holy Word and we strive daily to walk in His Holy Spirit. We know though our mortal bodies should die, He will raise us up and into new and glorious bodies (The Rapture). We who are truly His and alive at His second coming will never die, and our bodies will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and so shall we ever be with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). This is one of many promises given to us by God Himself. Thank God for His strength and guidance when we are faced with sin and temptation. Thank Him for His mercy and grace. Through Bible study and prayer, God reveals His wisdom and guides us to see opportunities to grow closer to Him and grow spiritually. He gives us direction to live our lives daily according to His will.
Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 3:5, 14:6), the ONLY way to salvation (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9) and He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26). Jesus Christ the LORD of lords, the KING of kings, the GOD of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17, 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16) - He is the Living, Almighty and Everlasting God (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, John 3:16, John 3:36, Jeremiah 10:10). There is no other God besides Him (Isaiah 45:5). We MUST humble ourselves before Him, turning our backs on false teachers, false gods and idols and our sinful ways. We MUST repent and turn back to God and recognize who He is and love Him in return for His great love for us. We MUST make God top priority everyday! May we be motivated to spread God's Holy Word and Gospel Truth to all the Earth, knowing that it is the only hope of all those lost in their sins. Let us not hold out a false hope for men to be saved without the Gospel, but instead, strive to do our part to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world.
Leaning on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit strengthens us and our knowledge and wisdom about God and His Gospel Truth, exposing these imposters. May God help us to seek and lean on Him daily to gain the strength, wisdom and spiritual discernment needed to expose Satan and his imposters who seek to destroy us and God's ultimate Truth. Everyday, we must remember to share Jesus Christ's Gospel Truth with the world and to thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the grace that He poured out for us on the cross at Calvary. He has freed us from the burdens of sin and from the eternal damnation of Hell. In all we say and do, may all praise, honor and glory always be given to Him and His Kingdom of Heaven.
With renewed minds, hearts and wills, let us serve Him humbly and faithfully out of pure love and grateful rejoicing. May He remind us of His presence and to remain at peace, fully knowing that all will be well because He is always with us. Let us seek Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ today and everyday with all our heart and being, looking for His love, light and will for our lives with each step we take. Let us seek to please Him with our thoughts, words, and deeds and seek to advance His Kingdom of Heaven and His glory with our lives. Let us seek Him from a pure and humble heart, and when we so seek, we believe Him and His promise that we will find. May He help us all to be more sensitive to the teaching ministry of His Holy Word and Spirit, relying on Him and allowing Him to speak to us and guide us every step of our Christian journey.
God gave us the Holy Bible - His living and Holy Word - to let us know of Him and His abiding love and care as well as guide and prepare us for all our lives. May He help us encourage one another as we continue our walk with Him and our duty to Him daily. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for being present for all our new beginnings and all our lives. May He redirect any anxiety we feel as He provides countless opportunities for growth and change. May we humble ourselves before God always, asking Him to forgive our sins and make our hearts and lives anew through His Holy Word and Spirit. May He help us make Him and His Holy Word top priority, so we can grow spiritually and grow in our relationship with Him as we apply it to our daily lives. Thank God that we can focus on Him and everything about Him, for that is what keeps us sane and at peace. May our words and actions always be a reflection of Him and His Holy Word and Spirit and will.
May He help us to always walk in His grace and Holy Spirit, not by our own measure. May He give us the humble humility to know that our freedom and eternal salvation is found only in Him, so that His grace may sustain us, and we may never lose sight of His love and light and mercy. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for calling us to Him and to serve Him. May He equip us to do all that He has called us to do so that as He works through us, He may use us to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage all brothers and sisters in Christ. May He work all of these things in us and through us for His Kingdom and His glory. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all His creation, for His miraculous ways and for everything He does and has done for us! Keep the faith and keep moving forward in your walk with Jesus! He loves us and He knows what is best for us. Seek, follow and trust in Him - Always!
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Word and for sending His Holy Spirit so that we might have His grace, not only to awaken us and transform our hearts in our spiritual rebirth and guarantee our eternity with Him, but to also call upon Him whenever we are in need. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all the reminders of His love and mercy and faithfulness within His Holy Word. He is bigger than any challenge or circumstance in our lives. Knowing this within our minds and our hearts, nothing can deter our faith in Him and His Truth. May we all accept Him and His eternal gift of salvation and ask that He would transform our hearts and lives according to His will and ways. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Spirit who saves, seals and leads us. May we always thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His almighty power and saving grace. For He is our strength, and He alone is able to save us, forgive our sins and gift us eternal salvation and entry into His Kingdom of Heaven.
May we make sure that we give our hearts and lives to God and take time to seek and praise Him and share His Truth with the world daily. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Holy Word daily. May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. May we never forget to thank the LORD our God and our Creator and Father in Heaven for all this and everything He does and has done for us! May we never forget who He is, nor forget who we are in Christ and that God is always with us! What a mighty God we serve! What a Savior this is! What a wonderful LORD, God, Savior and King we have in Jesus Christ! What a loving Father we have found in Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
Thanks and glory be to God! Blessed be the name of the LORD! Hallelujah and Amen!

Sunday Morning Session
With Songs of Praise
Jeffrey R Holland
We don’t use the cross because the atonement is more important and we want to focus on the fact that He rose again
Because we are a restored church, the restored new testament church, we do not use the iconography that came about much later
The lives of our people must be the symbol of our faith
If any will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me
The crosses we bear, rather than the one we wear
Lgbtq+ mention and not in the best way
J Annette Dennis 1st counselor relief society
Jack and his dog – how just how do you not notice that? – graphic injury warning
Nothing you do makes much of a difference if you do not have charity
We are commanded to love others, not judge them. Let’s lay down that heavy burden – it isn’t ours to carry.
“Who am I to judge another, when I walk imperfectly?”
Do not judge anyone for anything about themselves – race, culture, sexual orientation, gender, religion, etc.
Each person on this earth is a child of God, and He loves each one.
You Can Make the Pathway Bright
Gerrit W. Gong
Do you remember believing in happily ever after, or at least wanting to? And then we “grew up” (dude I don’t think I did though – kinda obsessed with retellings of fairytales lol)
We believe or want to believe that happy and forever are out there and possible
It is as part of Heavenly Fathers plan
It makes all the difference to know who our family are
1st we are offered the opportunity of resurrection
2nd we can repent through the atonement
3rd God knows and loves us perfectly
4th the Lord gives us divine opportunity to become like Him
5th a symmetry in repentance and forgiveness helps us to forgive others
However we may feel as we begin, we feel whole as we trust Him
Joseph W. Sitati
When we align ourselves with these eternal realities, we feel more peace and harmony in our lives
We find heavens sociality in each other
Story of Korihor
Prioritize the glory of God, not the glory of the world
How we come into this world is less important than who we are when we leave it
Humility before God is a foundational aspect for His disciples
Discipleship is not a burden but a joy
Love God above all things, and love others as you love yourself
When we focus on loving God and others, we understand better our own divine selves and learn how to love ourselves more
Learn to know and honor God and share His love with posterity – will bring great blessings.
We Thank The O God for a Prophet
Steven J. Lund
Talking about FSY
When immersed in the love of God and learning about Christ for a whole week, they don’t come back the same
Finding joy in this world of prophesied destruction without becoming part of the world and leaving behind the distractions of lesser things
After I leave, what do I do to remain strong? How can loving God turn into lasting discipleship
Keep doing at home what you have learned to do here
Your discipleship isn’t just a slogan on a t-shirt – it has become a true part of your life
You don’t have to wear the badge to bear His name
David A. Bednar
The story only conveys divine truth to the receiver as they seek to understand
The parable of the royal marriage feast – Matthew 22:1-14 is the parable, 15-22 is the pharisees response
We as guests are invited (commanded) to attend by the Lord
He gives us garments from His own wardrobe
Why aren’t you wearing what has been provided for you?
Do you have any reasonable excuse? Do not be put in a place where you remain speechless
We have God’s call, and our individual response to His call
We can choose to be chosen, through the righteous exercise of our own agency
Many are called but few are chosen – D&C 121: 34-36
The things of the world are a short-term preoccupation – especially when you consider the eternity of God’s timing in the gospel
How Great the Wisdom and the Love
President Russell M. Nelson
Experiencing the love of them is vital
Many things are coming in these coming days
Where do you find rest in the Savior?
Matthew 11: 28-30
John 16: 33
Because He overcame the world for each of us, we can overcome our own selves
Despite the destractions and distortions that swirl around us, you can find rest, meaning peace
What does it mean to overcome the world?
Overcoming the temptation to care more about things of this world than things of God
Trusting the doctrines of Christ more than the philosophies of men
Does not mean becoming perfect, or that your problems will go away, or that you won’t make mistakes
But your resistance to sin will increase, and your heart will soften as your faith in Jesus Christ increases
How do we do it?
The natural man is an enemy to God – Mosiah 3:19
Anytime you do things that people of the world wouldn’t do you are overcoming the world
Living the doctrine of Christ and creating spiritual momentum
While the world insists certain things bring happiness, they do not! They cannot! They are a hallow substitute. It is exhausting to seek happiness where you can never find it!
Christ has the power to lift you above this world
How does overcoming the world bless our lives?
Entering into a covenant relationship with God binds us to Him, in a way that makes everything about life easier
There is still opposition
You have access to His strength and redeeming power
Take charge of your own testimony, work for it, nurture it, feed it truth. Do not fill it with philosophies of men
Watch for miracles
How does the temple teach you to rise above this fallen world?
Choose Jesus Christ over the world
Letting God prevail in your life = greater peace, confidence, joy, and rest
Ended with blessings for us

Daily Devotionals for September 6, 2023 Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 24:9 (KJV): 9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. Proverbs 24:9 (AMP): 9 The plans of the foolish and the thought of foolishness are sin, and the scoffer is an abomination to men.
Thought for the Day
The word foolishness carries the meaning of trusting in one's own heart and mind. Planning our way and leaving God out of those plans, is foolish. The Bible tells us to trust in the Lord and not to rely on our understanding: "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil" (Proverbs 3:5-7).
Because only God is "all-knowing," He alone can lead us in the right pathway. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9). The Lord tells us that His thoughts are higher than ours. That is why we need to allow the Holy Spirit to renew our minds from conformity to the world and allow the mind of Christ to dwell in us. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2). "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:5). As our thoughts become holy and righteous, we will be able to reject carnal thinking, to cast down imaginations and any high thing that exalts itself against God and bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We must ask God to cleanse our thought lives to root out sin.
When the devil attempts to get us to believe a lie, we must, in faith, quote scripture that will offset and overcome that lie. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Submission to God is a heart attitude, and it is revealed by obedience to His Word. To "resist the devil" means to refuse to cooperate with him. "Walking in the Spirit" means that we live in a state of prayer and obedience to the Holy Spirit. This is not much different from walking with a friend. We become friends with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. We come to know Him through reading the Word and praying. God provided a way for us to be victorious, even when we fail and yield to temptation. We simply need to repent, confess our sins, and get back on the right track with Jesus; not allowing Satan to keep us away from God.
We must also guard against becoming a scoffer. This attitude will alienate us from other people. Nobody wants to be around someone continually railing against and mocking others. People who mock sacred principles and responsibilities are an abomination to God and insulting to others.
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for Your patience and love toward me. I have failed You many times, but You have never failed me. Lord, purify my thoughts so that they will be pleasing to You. May Your Words dwell in my heart and mind so that I will not sin against You. Lord, may I think loving and kind thoughts toward others and may I never be a scoffer and one who demeans others. Deliver me from all foolish thoughts and give me the mind of Christ, so that I am a good witness for You in this world. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Wednesday, September 6, 2023

“There is no fear in love, and therefore over and over the Spirit of God says, al tira (אל־תירא), "don't be afraid..." When we are afraid, we are believing the lie there is something beyond God's control or reach, and therefore God is "not enough"... In times of testing you must remind yourself of what is real. God formed you in your mother's womb, breathed into you nishmat chayim, the breath of life, and numbers all your days... Every breath you take, every heartbeat in your chest is ordained from heaven, and indeed, there is not a moment of your life apart from God's sovereign and sustaining grace. So what, then, are you afraid of? Dying? Judgment in the world to come? Being left unloved, bereft of home, abandoned, consigned to outer darkness? King David said, "If I make my bed in Hell, behold, you are there" (Psalm 139:8). Look, the LORD God is not only present in your "happy moments," when you feel "put together" and respectable, but he is present in your desperate moments, in your hunger, your thirst, and in your secrets. May we never lose sight of God's love, especially in times of distress and trouble, since we trust that he is always working all things together for our ultimate good (Rom. 8:28)
The Name of the LORD (יהוה) means “Presence” and “Love” (Exod. 3:14; 34:6-7). Yeshua said, “I go to prepare a place for you,” which means that his presence and love are waiting for you in whatever lies ahead (Rom. 8:35-39). To worry is “practicing the absence” of God instead of practicing His Presence... Trust the word of the Holy Spirit: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for healing peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jer. 29:11). The Word always speaks hope.
Take comfort that your Heavenly Father sees when the sparrow falls; he arrays the flower in its hidden valley; and he calls each star by name. More importantly, the Lord sees you and knows your struggle with fear. Come to him with your needy heart and trust him to deliver you from the burdens of your soul (Matt. 11:28). Shalom means being free from fear.
This is a word for the exiles of every age: Be not afraid - al-tirah – not of man, nor of war, nor of tribulation, nor even of death itself (Rom. 8:35-39). If God be for us, who can be against us? Indeed, Yeshua came to die to destroy the power of death "and to release all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery" (Heb. 2:14-15). The resurrection of the Messiah is the focal point of history - not the "dust of death." Death does not have the final word. Indeed, because Yeshua is alive, we also shall live (John 14:19). "May your love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope for you" (Psalm 33:22).
Nachman of Breslov once is reported to have said that “The whole earth is a very narrow bridge (כָּל־הָעוֹלָם כֻּלּוֹ גֶּשֶׁר צַר מְאד), and the point of life is never to be afraid.” Likewise we understand Yeshua to be the Bridge to the Father, the narrow way of passage that leads to life. He calls out to us in the storm of this world, “Take heart. It is I; be not afraid” (Matt. 14:27). When Peter answered the call and attempted to walk across the stormy waters, he lost courage and began to sink, but Yeshua immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt (lit., think twice)?”
We must be careful not to let the light in us become darkness (see Luke 11:35). The love and acceptance of God is the answer to our fear, not the thought of being judged by Him or attempting to merit his favor through religion. God’s love is our hope, and this hope gives us courage to persevere the storms of the day... "May your love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope for you" (Psalm 33:22).

One ☝🏼 look into the eyes 👀 of Jesus 🙏🏼🙌🏼 and you’re never the same again. Set apart for Jesus. He is my heart and He is my life. My whole being abides in the shelter in the most high God. Jesus is my forever high fortress. In Jesus I forever find my safety and refuge. Jesus ever eternally abiding love and precious presence changes everything. Stay in the glowray realms of Jesus agape love and you’re undone in the Presence of the King. The Holy Spirit is the great comforter and intercessor. Father God is the ruler of all things both great and small. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob loves each and every one of us with an everlasting love. This love is never changing. It is always abiding. In the third heavens. In the Heavenly realm of Jesus heart.
Soaking and resting in the throne room of grace. Jesus glory is here. You can feel it. This is the start of the great soul harvest season. It cannot be stopped. Nor the glory of God will be stopped. Revival. The great awakening is here. Jesus will have the final say in all things. This is the time of the saints of God. Think on Daniel 7:22. Jesus wins. The very best surely is yet to come. Get ready get ready get ready get ready. I’ve always known that I was set apart.
I was never like the rest. Even from a young age. Even when I was young. Jesus has always been my true first love. Jesus has always had my heart. My soul belongs entirely to Jesus. I am a Christian. Jesus forever lives and abides in my heart. I love being in the glory and In the eternal majesties of Jesus.
If I were to tell you all of the lives I’ve seen Jesus change and be completely transformed. You wouldn’t be able to fully stand because of the glory of Jesus that changed countless young people. I’ve seen young people with their arms raised and weeping unashamedly as Jesus healed their lives. I’ve held young people in my arms as Jesus gave me words of knowledge and words of life over their hearts. I’ve seen young people running after the heart of God and they are now powerful women of God. Jesus has great plans for each generation.
I’m just so honored and humbled that Jesus trusted me to be able to speak into their lives. I love them all so dearly. I love them all so much just as much if they were my own flesh and 🩸 children. I’d gladly give my life for each of them. There has never been a minute or even a mere second that I’ve ever stopped praying for them. Jesus sees each of their hearts. They each have a legacy. I pray they all know just how deeply they are loved by the heart of Jesus. No matter where they go in life I will always love them. I will never stop praying for them and I will never stop believing in them. If I could hold each young person in my arms again for even just one second. I wouldn’t have enough tears in my eyes when I tell them just how much I love them.
You see. I’ve never been an average 37. In my heart. I feel far older than that. I’ve been far more mature in my heart than my natural age. Jesus has given me his wisdom. None of the grace and words I could never attain on my own. The changed lives-Jesus did that. I am his vessel he worked through. Nothing more. I’m so honored Jesus has chosen me to speak for him. All that I am today and all that I ever was I owe to King Jesus.
I can hardly even see through my tears 😭 as I write this down. Jesus presence is here. This is the very best place to be. Is in Jesus presence. Everything is so simple here. It’s peaceful. It’s full of him. Everything about Jesus is so very beautiful. Jesus is so good. Heaven on earth. The greatest days are yet to come. Thank you Jesus for this life and for all that Is soon yet to come. Jesus has good things planned. Turn to Jesus before it’s too late. Trust Jesus in all things. Call on Jesus today. Ask Jesus to be your Savior and your Lord. Jesus is everything. I owe him my life. I owe Jesus everything. Love you guys.

Isaiah 25:1 LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.
Psalm 13:5-6 But I trust in Your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in Your salvation. 6 I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me.
Psalm 16:11 You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.
1 Chronicles 28:9 …for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him…
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
May you follow the leading of the Lord, moving when He bids you move, and standing when He bids you stop, for you have never been this way before. Joshua 3
May you consecrate yourself today, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things through you. Joshua 3
May you listen for, and closely follow, the Word of God so that you may know that the living God is with you, for He will certainly drive out before you the many enemies which inhabit the land He is bringing you into, as the Lord has promised He would. Joshua 3
May you stand firm in the place God has led you, for the sake of others around who are watching God's provision in your life. Joshua 4
May you obey the Lord in all He bids you do, that He will be able to move mightily through you, and in so doing let all the peoples of the earth know that the hand of the Lord is powerful, and so that you might always fear the Lord your God. Joshua 4
My child, you call Me Lord, and you are right. You acknowledge My kingship, and you do well. I have been made Lord of all lords and King of all kings by the Father Who loves Me. But in ruling all kingdoms and reigning over all tribes, and assigning authority with responsibility to My people, do you understand all that means? The earth has had many kings, and I am over them all; therefore, I am not only the King of glory and the Lord of righteousness, but I am also the King of grief, well-acquainted with sorrows, spending much time with those who are subjects of that kingdom. I am Lord of wounds, pouring Myself out in sustaining and caring and comforting those who have been harmed, whether in physical ailments or the unseen, though just as debilitating, injuries of the heart, the mind, the spirit. I am the King of poverty, and I cherish My subjects, strengthening them and teaching them to see the true treasures of My heavenly realm, encouraging them to realize all they have rather than focus on what they have not. I am not an isolated King, My dear one, but I am involved in each of My kingdoms and I have tasks for you to carry out as My ambassador, My representative, My open hand reaching out to those I am drawing. Follow Me, My love, for I have much to share.
May you choose the lesser option in any choice, considering others before yourself, so that God may honor you in the view of others. Luke 14
May you share that which you have with the poor, the disabled, the lame, the blind, for then you will be blessed, and because they cannot repay you, you will be repaid by the Lord at the resurrection of the righteous. Luke 14
May you respond with joy and eagerness to the invitation of the Lord, lest your blessing be given to someone else. Luke 14
May you willingly give up everything you have in order to be a disciple of the Lord. Luke 14
May God restore you and make His face shine upon you that you may be saved. Psalm 80
May you not turn away from God, but call on His name that He may revive you. Psalm 80
May you prize what God has given you, as the diligent do, and not waste what you have gathered, as the lazy man does. Proverbs 12:27
May you walk in the way of righteousness where there is life, for along that path is immortality. Proverbs 12:28

Dear St. Rita,
during your entire life on earth
you found your happiness by following the will of our heavenly Father.
Help me to be as trusting of God in all His plans for me.
Help me this day to give myself to Him as you did,
without limit, without fear, without counting the cost.
Help me to be generous in serving the needs of others,
patient in all difficulties,
forgiving toward all who injure me.
Help me to learn more deeply the great mystery of the Cross of Jesus,
so that by embracing it as you did,
I may come to experience its power to heal and to save. Amen.

Deception. God's eyes seem to darken for a moment. He scoffed. "You're full of offense thinking you have power in this situation." He was still a seraph to him, still the same mind, this 'power' shift he was feeling was just an illusion to the other. Another flaw of his big ego in this smaller body. His own shaded self darkened as there is truly no one he can trust anymore these days, not even the seven spirits. He can feel whispers surfacing in his psyche that reflected his life, a life longer than most on this earth and those realms that surround these mortals.
The other's words were just salt on open wounds and scars, leaving behind more burns. "You still refuse to realize this situation. This is a PUNISHMENT." He was already planning on bringing back the ancient powers and dropping the goddess that previously had his children, a more valuable asset. He held back his aura as much as he can with how irritating this was becoming, or even this child would be shattered as a result.
"Teachings, you say." He muttered, stepping away and waving a hand to open a door to Heaven, revealing a angelic figure that was holding a staff. They looked their way and looked confused. "This oath is between only you and I. I've given you enough reassurance and I lost plenty." The staff broke from the archangel's grip which startled Sandalphon a bit, feeling a sense of dread, watching the staff slam into the grip of the supreme deity. "Since you like to play games, and we're both really into an eye for an eye." He turned to face Nikolai. "Pick who gets to die. The baby growing inside of your whore of a mother… or the emperor's great prince of Hell?"
Sandalphon paled. "Heavenly Father--!" God rose a hand to shush the winged being.
Tumblr media
Six wings flare out behind the Seraphim, the light of Kindness shining strongly within each feather, causing his gown to ripple. Was such a compromise really so difficult to accept? He'd done this to protect. He'd accepted this bargain as a way to look after those he loved while being unable to defend them himself!
"If you think for even one second that I don't know that this is an oath of punishment then you are mistaken. I might be young, but I am old enough to know that you are afraid! If you want these children then stop making threats, accept my humble terms and be done with the surface and my loved ones!"
A surge of such anger- he'd never felt it so strongly before. Where was the fatigue that came with it? The automatic switch that flipped to put him into a docile state? It was gone- he was free of it- if he wanted to-- he could burn down heaven. Yet... He calms soon after, the fire of wrath fading completely from his eyes, and his wings gracefully folding against his back as he straightens his body.
"You cannot touch the one within my mother. I put it there. I allowed its growth as the Life Bringer. Only I can get rid of it. So accept my power and have your children, or don't. Bring about a second war by murdering a child of hell. It's up to you, oh heavenly father. Personally, I'd take the safer road. I am right here, after all."

Do you ever struggle with knowing where to go or what to do? You are not alone. It is common to feel unsure of what path to take, but the Holy Bible is clear that God will guide those He has redeemed.
In Exodus, God led the Israelites out of Egypt to the promised land. Like the Israelites, God leads us where He has called us. When we place our trust in our redeemer, we will be led by Him. Through redemption, we will one day enter into His holy and everlasting Kingdom of Heaven.
May we make sure that we take time daily to seek and praise God. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Word daily, May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. What a loving Father we have found in the Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
Thanks and glory be to God! Blessed be the name of the LORD! Hallelujah and Amen!
Dear Father God Almighty, Lord Jesus, You have a special plan for my life. Help me to trust You to guide me where You want me to go. I am choosing to place my trust in You, my Savior and Redeemer. I know my eternal home is with You, but while I am on Earth, please lead me. Give me discernment to see which path to take and how to serve You. Help me to depend on Your strength and wisdom to go where I am called. And thank you for Your unfailing protection, love and mercy.
You are Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End! We know Your promises are true and we place our hope in You! May we continue to pray and seek You. Present us with daily opportunities to go to others with Your message of eternal salvation. May we live our lives with a spirit of thankfulness and may we always magnify You, O Lord. Allow our praises to You encourage others to seek Your face. Help us all to be humble and obedient to You. And help us to be courageous enough to seek You daily and to humbly and faithfully do our duty to You, spreading the truth of Your Gospel to all in all nations, as You commanded before You ascended back to Heaven (Mark 16:15-16). May our lives show the world Your light and Truth and that You are a loving God and Heavenly Father who delights in showing love and mercy. May we all be humbly and faithfully honored and excited to worship, glorify and serve You daily and to do Your will. You have been so good to us, far more than we as wretched sinners deserve. You are so good! So wonderful! Forever and always!
Thank you, Lord, for keeping me and helping me in times where I am tempted to go astray. Praise be to You today and every day of my life and let me never forget all of the blessings that are given me by You. As much as the enemy will try, he will never be able to successful breed doubt about who You are, in the minds of anyone who truly believes and follows You. And I will follow and serve You all the days of my life and beyond! Thank you for the connection with You that we are given through Your Holy Word and Spirit. Thank you, O Lord, for all Your creation and Your miraculous ways. Thank you for being our stronghold and my refuge. Thank you for seeing us as worth the sacrifice. Thank you for sustaining us, loving us and defining us according to Your will and love for us. Thank you for making sure we are taken care of. Thank you for being the best friend we could ever have! Thank you for Your endless mercy and love that has saved us. Thank you for always protecting us and providing for us and for Your Spirit to help us when we are in need. Thank you for abiding within me and may I abide with You, my Lord. Thank you for giving us a chance to be saved from our sin and spend eternity with You. Thank you for adopting us as part of Your family in Heaven and making us one of Your own. Thank you for being our present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Thank you for always being near and for loving us. Thank you for giving us a reason to love others and so many more reasons to love, praise, serve and follow You. Thank you for Your selfless and sinless sacrifice. Thank you for Your guidance and protection. Thank you for Your Truth and light. Thank you for Your wisdom and strength and grace. Thank you for giving life to the world and to us. You give and take away – And we thank you for it. Thank you for everything! Your will be done! Blessed be Your mighty name! To You and Your Kingdom be the glory forevermore! In Your name I humbly pray, Amen and amen

Anons, write your story.
"Boy do I have stories to tell…and tell I will.
Now understand that I'm not counting on anyone wanting to read it mind you, but I figure that if nothing else we all owe history as much our individual insight as to this moment in time as we can. And that's exactly what I plan to do.
Been chewing on it for some time and as this currently insane part of the much larger theater of events going down worldwide comes to some sort of public conclusion, I will 117% be writing a book. I just don't see how to frame it if I don't yet know how it ends.
Seems kinda of pertinent.
The way I see it, generations from now historians, writers, and the like will have rich fields of earth from which to dig. Sure there will be all the videos, news articles, and professionally written books by professional authors…ok, great. But we'd be doing history a disservice is we didn't tell our stories. What happened to us from our individual POV's along the way.
In fact, I'd encourage all of you to at least consider it as well. It doesn't even have to be a book, you could even consider voice/video recordings. Just something that can be saved and passed down only God knows how long which will still speak for us after we're long gone.
Everyone's voice matters. Tell your story.
*and I mean the good, the bad, and the ugly
This moment in time, these 'days of days' if you will, is truly much more consequential than most can even comprehend…yet. Don't ever forget that.
Anyway, something to think about. What a time to be alive." - Awakened Outlaw. 4.10.23.

I have the power to learn, grow and heal from anything in my life now. I get to write my own story.
What can you do to make this up to you?
We need to write our own story, be who we are, make our own choices and decisions, and be all we can be. Walk with me and we will figure out where we will go next.
Allow yourself to believe, to have hope and to trust again.

My mind, heart, and soul speaks, having dreams, learning the path of enlightenment, and saving the world.
But who is willing to sacrifice themselves for it?
Which many were unaware of their effort involved in this experience, this is a sacrifice. Not sacrifice, but total surrender. A ‘death’ of one’s former self. Ego’s Death.
If we return hate for hate, we bat for the dark team and misrepresent the ‘Light.’ Believers are endowed with every tool we need to speak the truth with grace and discern when to not answer.
“Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.“ – Proverbs 26:4.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” – Ephesians 1:3.
Armor up guys.
“You can choose to ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality. If you can build a prison for the mind, then slavery does not require guards with guns, or cells with bars, or even awareness of enslavement.”
Would that be the ‘best’ prison of all?
No one is stopping you.
As long as we help enlighten all one by one to the world, will soon be enlightened as a whole. I am thankful for each new day and I surrender the day by spreading enlightenment to those around me.
The only thing that resonates for me is we have to think for ourselves. We need to take back our sovereignty and place the world that was meant to be. Choices are the time now where everything is out in the open and can be seen.
Question everything and use discernment, otherwise we become the very thing we are trying to change. Let’s remember the first rule: Think for yourself. When we come to different conclusions, discussion is a good thing.
I’d like to think this that – You save the world by saving yourself. Each person saves them selves. You need to learn how to save yourself.
Who is the self? And what are they saving?
Compassion for one self is much harder than that for others. Regardless of a person’s life decisions, or circumstance, the saving can have many meanings. Whether that means, rising above circumstance or crossing to freedom through the act of death.
“Would you like to save the world from the degradation and destruction it seems destined for? Then quietly go to work on your own self-awareness. If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.” – Lao Tzu.
Always doubt your doubt before you doubt your faith, and endure to the end. Everyone desires the truth, but few are willing a trial by fire.
We lived to talk about it. So what is your story?

Heroes and villains come in all forms. It plays an important role, either as a lesson or a mirror.
Where your choices control your story. Know your character type and plot role. The direction of your journey. When you know your purpose, you can easily differentiate between what is important and what is not. Then you get to make up your own answer, and create your own meaning in life. It is just how life is. I believe it is the same for all of us.
To some I am an antagonist, a villain (guys, malicious destruction is not my style), a hero, and, to some, I am just a person.
The search went deeper as I mature, I have learnt to embrace the existence of my shadow integration, and acknowledging my ancestral trauma and evolutionary past.
In the worst of times, I often chose to be a good person and do the right thing, even if life has taken everything from me unfairly. I chose to live my life. I only get to meet on my own terms, and there are plenty of good reasons for why I am fighting but no good reason ever to hate without reservation.
I am not what you think I am because you are what you think I am.

To be exact, I started writing on January 4th, 2018. wrote between 900 and 1000 posts for two distinct sites, one using SquareSpace (active) and the other WordPress. (older-inactive)
I am thinking of stepping it up, but I need a strategy. Worldbuilding is such a lengthy process, that I know. I'd like to publish my tale and sharing it with my family is something I truly enjoy doing. I need to start somewhere.

Daily Devotionals for June 2, 2023
Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 17:23-25(KJV): 23 A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment. 24 Wisdom is before him that hath understanding, but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. 25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him. Proverbs 17:23-25(Amp): 23 A wicked man receives a bribe out of the bosom (pocket) to pervert the ways of justice. 24 A man of understanding sets skillful and godly Wisdom before his face, but the eyes of a (self-confident) fool are on the ends of the earth. 25 A self-confident and foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him.
Thought for the Day
Verse 23 - This verse tells of the man who will lie and pervert judgment for a gift that is a bribe. Dishonest men do not care who they hurt. They always look out for number one. In today's society, selfishness is rampant. Many people are easily tempted to do things if the price is right, no matter whom they hurt. That is why some innocent men are in jail. They are not guilty, but someone perverted judgment, and through lies and deceit they were judged wrongly. Joseph was a man in the Bible who was jailed through just that kind of situation.
Genesis 39 tells how Joseph was jailed through a false accusation. He was a steward over Potiphar's house. Potiphar's had a wife who was a flirt and she tempted Joseph to have an affair with her while her husband was gone, but he refused. This angered her and when her husband came home, she accused Joseph of trying to seduce her because she was spurned by him. This led to Joseph's imprisonment because of her false accusations. However, he refused to become bitter, even as he suffered in prison. He used that time to get closer to God; and in time, the Lord made a way for his release and promotion to the second highest position in Egypt as Pharaoh's right-hand man (Genesis 39:7-21). God blessed Joseph because of his attitude. His experiences trained him to be trusted with the leadership of an entire country. This was by God's plan to save many lives through him (Genesis 45:4-8). This should be an encouragement to all who are in prisons of any kind, physical, mental, emotional, financial, etc. God can make any evil in our lives work for our good and the good of others when He brings us out of our prisons. He can honor us in bad, as well as good circumstances, and use what Satan meant for evil to bring good to us and unto the lives of others. "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive" (Genesis 50:20).
Verses 24-25 - Unlike Joseph, self-confident fools do not keep their eyes on the Lord. They do not honor Him in their attitudes or their habits. Instead, they are always "looking to the ends of the earth" to see how much they can get from the world. Many have a wanderlust spirit and would like to roam the world with no responsibilities. Because they do not take their responsibilities seriously, they are rarely promoted in this life. If they are, they will be misled by their pride and unable to retain their position. At any age, they cause their parents much grief because they never truly succeed or prosper in anything they do.
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, we come to You with a thankful heart for all that You have done in our lives. Thank you for the many answers to our prayers and we appreciate You always being there when we call. Lord, we pray for all of those who do not know You. Use Your children to tell them about the good news of salvation. Give each of us Holy boldness to witness to those around us who need to hear about the love of Jesus. May our lives be a testimony of Your love. Forgive us when we fail You and help us to overcome all the things that would hinder us from being like You. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

#DailyDevotion We Humbly Praise The Name Of The LORD For He Hears Us
Tumblr media
#DailyDevotion We Humbly Praise The Name Of The LORD For He Hears Us Psalm 138 I thank You with all my heart. Before the false gods I sing to praise You 2and bow toward Your holy temple. I thank Your name because You are kind and faithful, and have made Your name and Your promise greater than everything. 3When I called, You answered me and made me bold and strong. 4All the kings on earth will thank You, O LORD, when they hear the words of Your mouth. 5They will sing of the LORD's ways, that the LORD's glory is great. 6The LORD is high above but He regards the lowly and knows a proud man from a distance, 7Even though I live in the middle of trouble, You keep me alive. You stretch out Your hand against my angry enemies, and Your right hand saves me. 8The LORD accomplishes His purpose for me. O LORD, You are merciful forever - don't drop the work You started. David gives thanks to the LORD with all his heart, i.e. everything that is in him, from the very center of his being. What a great call to praise the LORD. Do we praise our LORD Jesus Christ? Do we give Him thanks with all that is within us? If we understand all that He has done for us, we should and be thankful that we can. Our translation has "false gods" and that is certainly an interpretation. The Hebrew just has gods. So we may have to wonder what gods these are. If David is referring to the gods of the nations then false gods would be a good translation. The other possibility is that elohim (God in the plural) is referring to the kings referred to later in the psalm. Elohim is sometimes used in the Hebrew to refer to those who stand in God's place, kings, princes, judges, elders etc. cf. Rom. 13. I'm leaning towards kings, etc.. Before is another clue. Often "peni"--my face is used for before, particularly when talking about the divine. Here the word is "neged." So David praises the LORD before these fellows and bows towards the Temple where the LORD has placed His name. David gives thanks and praise to His name because He is kind and faithful. His name and promise is greater than anything. Promise is "imrah" which is an utterance of the LORD. God's name and His promise give us access to the LORD which is why it is so great. We have been given the name of the LORD Jesus Christ, so we may have access to the Father as Jesus has promised in John 14 and 16. David had called upon the name of the LORD and He answered him. We are therefore encouraged to do the same. We also have the promise from Jesus that the Father hears us and answers us and we come to Him in Jesus' name. As David sings of the LORD before the kings that visit him, they too will join in singing the LORD's praise. As the name of Jesus went forth, conquering hearts by His promise, the rulers of the world who heard and believed it became the children of Abraham and Sarah as the LORD promised them. They give thanks they have been given the word of God. There is the praise of humility. Kings who have faith in the LORD are humble. Me who have faith in the LORD are humble and the LORD on high has regards for both. Those who are proud, the LORD only knows from a distance. They do not call upon Him. David though is humble. He kept David alive in the midst of troubles. The LORD's right hand saved him at the proper time. He raised the LORD Jesus Christ from the dead at the right time. The Father accomplished His purposes in David and our LORD Jesus Christ, His only-begotten Son. David prays the LORD continue His work on David, through David. Our LORD Jesus Christ committed Himself into the Father's hand. How much more should we then place ourselves humbly in our Father's hand, trusting Him to accomplish in and through us all that He has planned to do, even if it doesn't look glorious to the world? Heavenly Father, we praise Your name and the name of Your Son Jesus Christ for keeping Your Word and saving us. Give us lips that sing Your praise so others may hear it and join our chorus of humble thanksgiving. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Read the full article
