I totally get that! C2 literally carried me through the pandemic and that was my first time watching Critical Role so the Nein have a special place in my heart as well.

felt that. i have the fondest memories of binging c2 while in zoom classes in senior year. the way i’d be watching cr in between classes, then later hopping on a zoom for class, and if we were given independent work time, i’d just listen to cr while i drew art. those were fun times.

my hc for when andreil are getting busy is not that either one of them is particularly vocal with words (*cough cough* looking at you mouthy smartass of the relationship) but that since they are otherwise (when one isn’t trash talking or dragging someone for their stupidity) men of very few words, and those words generally get directly to the point (no fuss no muss you might say) like beautifully clear consent for everything they want. so instead of swearing up a storm they get increasingly, breathy. like all, trading each others CO2 back and forth with increasing urgency. i just think that is so hot for them. someone would definitely walk by their room and think neil was going for a hard run on a treadmill or something and then belatedly remember, no the dorms do not have gym equipment in them.

My family is insane for religious reasons & I’ve tried to explain this to my partner (who was raised atheist but went to church like…a few times) in the past but he didn’t seem to get it. Like how could anyone. & once I was commiserating with a friend at the bar about the trauma of growing up in the church & he tried to chime in like, “I get it!” & both of us were like, no you don’t. & to be fair my family has tuned it down quite a bit since I was a kid but I did mention offhand that it sucks my cousins don’t get to carve pumpkins & my partner was baffled. Why not? Did they run out of time? No my love, Halloween is for satanists, pokemon is the devil, & you can’t consume any media from Asia because they’re Buddhist & they’re waging spiritual warfare. & he just stared at me in disbelief & I said, why do you think my cousin sits outside when we play Dungeons & Dragons? It’s evil & he can’t bring it in the house.
