PETA

Alright, I got one (1) anon ask about PETA, so here’s the scoop on my disaster D&D family. It’s under a cut because it’s long, but that’s fine.

DM:

- either rolls amazingly or terribly

- once went an entire fight without hitting anything

- rolled a NAT 1 when insight checking our rogue and got convinced we fought a dragon... underground...

- a treasure really, who just wants to advance the story, but we will not stand for it

SAELISE - SORC:

- cannot hit anything. at all.

- when she hits it's for minimum damage

- super charismatic but her first response is always fight

- literally there to look pretty in a dress and make all of us anxious with her 12AC

KAELIWEN - WARLOCK:

- a badass dragonborn who constantly tries to beat up the Ranger

- likes to push the DM to see if he remembers when she last used lightning breath

- comes up with all the stupid names

- always in it for money

HERMY - DRUID:

- disaster wood elf boi who lived as a skunk for 10 years

- totally vegan (hmm)

- always wants to sleep outside, even when there’s an inn

- can’t hit with shillelagh, but will bite your ass as a wolf

- always asks to turn into random bugs

RANGER SMITH - RANGER:

- literally just ranger smith from yogi bear

- wants to kill every bear

- hugged a goblin, charmed it, got stabbed by its friend and fell unconscious

- seems to literally always be unconscious

- vegan, and sleeps in the woods too (also a wood elf)

ROBYN - ROGUE:

- flirty young girl who just wants to rob everyone

- thankfully easy to persuade to not do so

- *enters combat* “can i hide?”

- because her sneak is so high, the answer is usually yes

- always seems to get the HDYWTDT

ELLYRIA (me!) - CLERIC:

- will fight all the bad guys (JUSTICE)

- was betrayed once, now serves Tyr (god of justice) and literally murdered 300 elves because of their betrayal.

- 17 wisdom, 16 intelligence, and 8 charisma. You do the math.

- always rolls high initiative, hits for a lot of damage or absolutely nothing, and a genuinely terrible healer (always a 1 or a 2 on the D8 for Cure Wounds)

- overuses thaumaturgy for dramatic effect (street brawl had spectators, thaumaturgy slammed all doors and windows)

PETA: “We’re from PETA and we’re here to ask about your animal safety habits”

- that was the line our druid went with when i suggested deception (i immediately got a nat 1 on a stealth roll and exposed us all #heavyarmour)

- it’s not actually for the PETA the animal place because they’re bad

- instead it’s named in honour of one of our most disastrous profs as the People’s Erotic Teaching Association (LONG STORY)
