Hi Aki!! it was me all along, your animanga secret santa hehehe. So answering the rest of our last conversation will be a lot more easier. As for the recommended shoujos, I highly suggest Kimi ni Todoke, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Bokura ga Ita, and Lovely Complex! Those are all older shoujos but to me that's like the golden age of shoujos 2000s-2010s, now a days we don't get many new good ones but luckily next year is looking so good!! there's already gonna be 3 manga adaptions of shoujos in Janurary and Feburary (they are The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague, Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru, and A Galaxy Next Door!) ((im definitely checking them all out)) and Ouran Highschool is such a classic I highly rec finishing that one!

omg ugh, if I had the money for fashion I would 10000% dabble in k-fashion!! I just love how fashionable their outfits are while at the time looking for fancy, clean, fresh! Cardigansssssss yes yes yes, if I also had more of those I'd be drenched in cardigans but I wear a lot of hoodies during the colder months! I agree with all of that about christmas, I just wish it would snow here ;0;;;;; I feel like it always snows towards the end of winter because right now its just super super cold D: my favorite season is definitely Fall, it's just that literal perfect time of the year. You know the warm in the mornings and colder at night, the crunchy leaves, the pumpkin pies, all of that pre-winter stuff I love hehe :>

ayo we couldn't be more in common, I used to be obsessed with BTS too and the first group I listened to in kpop was 2ne1 with their I am the Best song :D but I TOO am now just a girl group listener and tend to dabble in older girl groups and newer ones too :)) aoa I feel like I should dive into their songs more because I just know of their hit title tracks but I'm sure they have a lot of good bsides. Itzy, twice and mamamoo I am all familiar with, they are good in all their respects. I feel like I like twices bsides more though I rarely listen to them. I am a hugeeeeeeee fan of Girls' Generation, they are my number 1. I also love Red Velvet, Aespa, KARA, and New Jeans! Honestly to me most bg these days just sound all the same, there isn't much new in their pot and I just was never too fond of them like I was of ggs :3

omg yesss k-fashion beauty is so pretty but also so expensive (for good reasons haha). i also love hoodies during winter!! they are so comfy and warm and i always wear them at home :D omg yes fall is a wonderful season too, it's the perfect balance between warm and cold. although in my area, it gets super cold in the morning and then gets warmer at night, so it's the opposite from you!! i always dress warmly when i go to work and then end up suffocating from the heat later on in the day >_<

OMG NO WAY WE HAVE SO MUCH COMMON? i can’t believe we’re so similar especially regarding kpop 👀 snsd was the first kpop group that i fell in love with i believe, i got hooked with their songs gee and oh!! (both classics) i get so much nostalgia listening to them, they still sound sooo good after all these years :’) did you have an ultimate bias in kpop? also you’re so right about ggs, they just hit differently compared to many boy groups. i also feel like a lot of them has their distinct style of music that sets them apart from everyone else!

the fire crackled, its bright crimson flickers bounced off the walls and echoed up the chimney as you laid into Aran’s body lounged back against the couch

The two of you sat in the comforting warmth of the fire as slow festive music played and it was just the two of you

Tomorrow was Christmas

The kids were asleep

It was already the eighth Christmas for your son and tenth for your daughter

They were already eight and ten years old

“Time’s going so fast, Aran,” you leaned your head back, looking up to your husband as he took a sip of his wine

“Hm?” He set his glass down

“What do you mean?”

“You’re so warm,” you melted, letting all the strings holding your balloons of worries fly away as the warmth from Aran seeped in

He chuckled, his voice deep as it rumbled in his chest and vibrated in his throat

As the music changed, the two of you sung along to the familiar seasonal song, sitting close by the toasty fire until Aran rose to his feet

Continuing to hum, he slowly began to sing along as he pulled you to your feet as well, leading the two of you to the center of the living room

“I want you to know that I’m never leaving, ‘cause I’m Mr. Snow, ’til death we’ll be freezing,” he changed the lyrics as he rest his hand on your waist, the other holding your hand to his shoulder

Your stomachs and chest pressed together as the two of you slowly danced along to the music, moving slowly side to side with each other

“Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons,” you sung along as he looked down into your eyes in the dimly lit room his eyes and features smiling as you leaned close, resting his head to his shoulder

“Let’s go below zero and hide from the sun, I love you forever where we’ll have some fun, Yes, let’s hit the North Pole and live happily, please don’t cry no tears now, it’s Christmas Baby,” he hummed, occasionally singing a few of the words with his low tenor voice

He spun you around slowly before dipping you

“My snowman and me,” the two of you sung in sync as you brought your head up, his lips to his as he pulled you back up

“Ew,” as the music played on, the two of you could hear the faintest little voices from none other than your kids as they peered through the banister on the stairs, hidden in the shadows

Fits of giggles and hushes bloomed and echoed softly throughout the stairwell as the song came to an end and the two of you approached the staircase

“D/N, S/N,” Aran leaned on the steps where he could see them clearly, hiding their smiles behind their hands. “Bedtime was almost and hour and a half ago. You don’t want to be awake or else Santa will leave coal in your stockings.”

With that said, the two little ones gasped before they ran up the steps back to their bedrooms

“Now, where were we?” Aran stood back up, melting his touch to yours as he slipped your hand into his, resting his forehead to yours as the two of you resumed your little waltz in the living room

A small world the two of you were in within an even grander world

How magical that you had Aran beside you

First he was a member of the team you managed

Then a friend in college

Your best friend

Your partner

Your partner for life now and it all felt so right

He was so much more than just your husband

He was your home

i stumbled upon this prompt on AO3 a year after this happened lol but i’m wondering if we’re doing it again this year. and if someone makes a 31-day prompt list or we come up with it all ourselves? anyways, i’m interested in participating this year (hopefully although college decision process is a lot) and seeing how supergirl goes starting in august maybe it’ll help us with the pain lol

31 days

no.1:

- lena doesn’t understand how her friend can be eating an ice cream cone in the middle of fall while she’s freezing, yet she finds it cute and kara just doesn’t know why she’s blushing

no.2:

- sam and alex force lena and kara on a blind date

- they’re best friends

- they both think they’ve been stood up and sam and alex are screaming inside watching this happen

no.3:

- its karas first time at a high school party and she spots a special someone she is very into

- 5 mins in heaven or spin the bottle

no.4:

- kara and lena are both single and attend homecoming only to fall into each other’s arms (literally or metaphorically)

- can be at the game or the dance

- baking and making a mess only for alex to walk in on them making out then begins cussing as she leaves

- school trip to a museum (science or art) and the two best friends (who are hopelessly in love with each other) find any moment to slip their hands together and run off for a few moments

- lena travels to ireland in hopes of discovering what really happened to her mother while kara stays in national city but keeps tails on lenas heartbeat and whereabouts. she ends up flying there once a day to be there physically and they both end up going to THE river/lake (they’re either together or just friends in this)

no.28:

- lena walks into her office only to find her best friend struggling to catch a puppy she brought (named pumpkin hehe) as a halloween surprise gift

no.29:

- lena knocks on the door of her best friends house begging to build a snowman in the middle of the night since she can’t sleep and seems to (for some reason) find comfort in those ocean blue eyes

no.30:

- alex gets tired of hearing kara complain about how much she likes lena but doesn’t know what to do so she decides to ask lena out from karas phone

- lena agrees and kara still doesn’t know what’s going on until after the “date” and she sees her messages. let’s say she’s not that mad at alex

no.31:

- lena has been missing for 3 days now and even the super can’t seem to find her. until she picks up on certain hints around the city and finds that she’s been captured by lex (i’m bad at horrors lol this is me trying)

I began this idea process back in like mid-june but i thought this might be really fun! we don’t know how this season will end but i thought we can at least have some happiness during it lol. anyways, it’s officially autumn so i finally got to post and it’s in a month advance which is nice! so repost and comment if you want to take part. i think it’ll be in A03 again but im super excited for this!

Yeah exactly! Oso proeminent traits isn't his perversity but his childishness. He is officially described as being a grown ass man with the mentality of a grade schooler. Even if this is not canon you need to see what other game depict him as : they have to come with an easy way to make Oso recognizable and shimamatsu and tabimatsu both came with Oso being a troublemaker who can easily have fun and can also help when necessary. Do you see that in imagine blog? No. You can just see how OP of blog like this don't even try while making of Kara the perfect boyfriend.

And yeah I am sure this anon would have never dared to make Kara aphobic for their request but again for Oso this is free game. “No, you’re not. God, this is just a phase. Lena Kieran Luthor, you’re not going on that date. What does she even look like?” She snaps at her daughter with a look of disgust.

“She’s beautiful, mother. And I am a grown woman who can make decisions for herself.” She snaps.

Lex walks in and peeks his head in. “What’s going on here?”

“Your sister has a date.” Lillian narrows her eyes at Lena.

“Ooo! What’s his name?” He laughs.

“With a girl.” Her mother grits through her teeth.

“I’m sorry, what? Is this some type of weird female thing?” He asks.

Lena rolls her eyes and pushes past both of them.

“Lena Luthor, get back here,” Lillian growls.

“And if I don’t listen?” She tests.

“Then you’re cut off and out of this house.” Lillian states.

She rolls her eyes and walks downstairs. Her mother and brother follow, of course, they did.

“Lena Kieran Luthor, you take another step towards that door and you’re out.” She barks.

“I have a meeting at L. Corp in thirty minutes! I’ve already had to reschedule this one on your accord, mother.” She scoffs.

“...I will know if you go out on that date.” She scowls.

“And stay away from the protests! I wouldn’t want anything to happen to my dear sister.” Lex says innocently.

“What does that have to do with anything?!” She groans.

Lena grabs her jacket and storms out, slamming the door behind her.

Lena sighs and sits behind her desk at L. Corp. Her thumb is hovering over your contact. She presses the call button.

“Hello?”

“Hi… It’s Lena.” She says.

“I’m going to have to call the date off tonight… I have… some meetings running late tonight. I’m so sorry I forgot.” She explains.

“Awe, well that’s okay. Maybe we can do something after the protests if you’d like. That’s if you’re still up to go to one of those.” You say softly.

“Sounds great.” She tries her best to sound happy.

“Great.” You giggle.

“Ms. Luthor, your 9:45 has shown up.” Jess peeks her head in.

“Right, thank you, Jess.”

“I’ve got to go, I’ll talk to you later.”

“Bye.” You chuckle.

She hangs up and sighs.

The meeting seemed to go on for an eternity. She looks over at the clock and sighs. It’s only been an hour… She feels horrible for lying to you. She sits in her office watching time tick by minute by minute. It isn’t until Kara knocks on her door that she snaps out of her thoughts.

“Lena? You okay?” She asks.

“Ms. Danvers, what a lovely surprise.” She smiles, avoiding the question.

Kara smiles. “I brought you some lunch.”

“Gods, thank you. I’m starving.” She chuckles.

The brunette gets up and walks over to her couch, motioning for Kara to join her. They sit there eating in a deafening silence.

“Lena… What’s up? Something’s on your mind.” Kara questions softly.

“Hm..? Oh, nothing.” She snaps out of her daze.

“Come on, I know you better than that.” Kara puts her hand on Lena’s shoulder.

“Just family drama, don’t worry.” She brushes it off.

Kara decides she shouldn’t push too hard if her friend isn’t comfortable sharing.

The Next Day

You wake up and look over at the time, groaning. You woke up one minute before your alarm was supposed to go off. Letting out a loud sigh, you get up and ready for the day and the protests. Once you’re ready, you walk out to your kitchen to make some food (you chose to make potstickers). While they’re in the microwave, you turn your phone on and decide to text Lena.

“Hello?” She answers.

“Heyyy. Are you still up for the protests today?” You ask while getting your food out of the microwave.

“Mm. Yeah.” She says hesitantly.

“Is something wrong? You sounded a bit hesitant there. Are you okay?” You worry.

“What? Yeah, everything is fine. I’m fine. I’m just tired, that’s all.” She lies.

“Did I wake you up? I’m so sorry-”

“No you didn’t. Don’t worry, I just went to bed late last night, that’s all.” She cuts you off.

“Oh. Okay, well… I’ll see you soon.” You chuckle lightly.

“Alright. Bye.”

“Bye, Ms. Hard to get.”

You hang up.

“Weird..” You mumble but shrug it off and start eating.

You pull up about half a block away from where you’ll be and get out to meet up with the rest of your friends, Adrianna is already with you. You two walk up and see Lena’s friends there talking to them.

“Hey! Glad you made it.” You greet them.

“Yeah! We wouldn’t miss this for the world.” Kara chuckles.

You smile and you have to ask, “Where’s Lena?”

“I’m not sure, we were kind of wondering if she was with you.” Alex looks a bit confused.

“I’m sure she’ll turn up sooner or later,” Katie assures you guys.

You all nod and you begin explaining what you guys normally do and what normally happens. You warn them that people do tend to get violent towards you guys, but they say it’s no big deal.

After about an hour of protesting, there’s still no sign of Lena. Kara checks her watch and glances over at you.

“It’s been an hour…” She states and you nod. A small look of hurt flashes across your face; Kara smiles at you reassuringly.

“I’m going to go try to call her.”

Kara hands her sign to Alex, “I’ll come with.”

You nod and hand your sign to David.

“Mom, why is someone’s skin colour such a big deal?! That has nothing to do with their personality!” Lena argues.

“They’re violent people, Lena.” She sighs.

“So what, someone’s pigmentation now affects their personality? Do your research, mother. You can’t stop me from going to the protest.” She growls.

“I rather not kick my daughter to the streets, so I’d advise you not to.” She fights.

Lena’s phone rings, interrupting both of them. She glares at her mom and walks to her room.

“Hello?” She answers as calm as possible.

“Lena? Where are you?” Kara asks.

“I got… caught up with some things. I’m sorry.” She bites her lip to hold back her tears.

Her mother barges into her room. “How dare you walk out on your mother.”

She quickly hangs up the phone.
