rOMANTIC HEITH????
WELCOME BACK NOOT
Keith asks Hunk out first, because Hunk is a shy gentleman and Keith is an impatient brat
They take it all very very slowly, Hunk is shy in general when it comes to relationships and Keith is wary of letting someone else into his heart. But it is easier with Hunk
Needless to say Hunk cooks for Keith to spoil him a little. He loses his shit when Keith does the same and it turns out that he's actually a decent cook
(slight n/s/f/w) They have their first time with each other. Hunk has never been so embarrassed in his life, and Keith loses his cool completely
Nobody is surprised when they get together. Keith and Hunk seem to fit perfectly together.
During the training of the cadets, Hunk will visit and bring Keith some food and a kiss
Keith gains a few pounds because of all the tasty food
They love to go to gym together once in a while
Hunk braids Keith's hair before they go to bed at night

Your Cuter
A/N: So I’m having a little funk and asked @kwaiipootato for characters, and a motive. I sort of followed through...?The funk is strong.
It’s very short.  __
“Chahahrap! Hunk chahahaut it out!” The former yellow paladin of Voltron had his half Galran boyfriend pinned beneath him as he tickled the bare tummy silly. Keith was on break for a few weeks due to a supply run and Zethrid and Ezor wanting some... “alone time” to spend with each other.
Axca decided she’d get what supplies they needed while the two had their vacation, and Keith visited Hunk. He was right in the area, it only made sense! Besies to have your body rubbed, be fed home cooked meals, and wear lose fitting clothes with the option of showering everyday... he was there in a heart beat.
It was their first night back together in a few months and Hunk was going to give his man everything! Fresh cooked meal, a warm shower or bath, kisses and cuddles, and apparently tickles. He hadn’t exspected this to happen, it just kind of did.
He was cuddling with Keith in his large bed when he decided to let the other’s hair down. Massaging the scalp and running his fingers through the the older’s hair earned purrs. Soft and faint ones.
Hunk smiled softly. “Your so cute.” Which.... started it all. Like any couple Keith said it back but in a more... Keith way. A blush mixed with a bit of fluster was present as he tried to move away. “N-No I’m not.” Purple eyes fixed on the silky white sheet beneath him.
“Your the cute one.” Brown eyes widened a bit before narrowing in challenge. “Oh really? Well I don’t purr like an adorable kitten!” He proved his point but playing with the long black locks. A small gasp followed by purrs and a tried face followed.
“I’m not... as sweet as you. I’m not a living teddy bear.” Keith was on a mission to prove a point! He was not cute, he was bad ass.... not really but eh. Kosmo huffed as he looked up from the foot of the bed. Sighing he rested his head again, ‘Idiots.’
Fingers moved to Keith’s sides, earning giggly breaths. “H-Hey, that tickles.” The former black paladin squirmed a bit before seeing the shine in Hunk’s eyes. “Oh no, dhahaon’t you-- shit!” Dark locks splayed across the pillow as hiccupy laughs escape the other’s mouth.
“Not the tummy, sthahhaahop it!” Lips brushed against the soft skin along with fingers. An arm held Keith to the larger body as he squirmed and cried out helplessly. “Who’s a cutie?” what? “Nhahahao, thahahis is embarrassing!” .
Brown eyes rolled. “How is this embarrassing? Keith it’s just us, well and Kosmo.” He smiled at the wolf who’s ear twitched in slight annoyance. “It jahahust is!”
FIngers travled up and down the protruding ribs and under freshly shaved arms. “Admit your cute,” Hunk demanded as he notice his boyfriend becomeing flushed in the face, tears starting to come down his cheeks.
“Nhahaho, Hunk!” In a desperate attempt, Keith moved his hands to the other’s neck. Unfortunatley it didn’t go as planned. His arm was pinned over head, shirt exsposing most of his side. It would have only been a matter of time before he met the same fate anway.
Taking a deep breath, Hunk blew a raspberry on the soft skin. Keith broke. “Okay, okay! Ahahahaha, I’m chahahahute!” The former yellow paladin pulled up triumphantly. “Yes, yes you are.” Hunk plops down next to his boyfriend triumphantly, snuggling happily.
Purple eyes rolled as Keith curled into him. His breath was trying to regulate as sleep was taking over. “Your evil,” he yawned between pants. “Nah, I’m just a great boyfriend.” He laughed a bit at the glare he was given in response. “Whatever, teddy bear.”
Hunk giggled softly as he pulled Keith into a bare hug. “Good night kitty.”

Drabble Flood
I Have Decided!
Since it was pretty mainstream to do a countdown of drabbles for voltron and/ or Macgyver etc. until Christmas, I wanted to do something different. On Christmas day, over the course of 24 hours, I will post a drabble that’s Christmasy. Every hour on the hour, a new short christmas drabble will be posted! (hopefully)
AND!
Each of these drabbles will be for different ships in Voltron (I haven’t finished MacGyver, so that will have to wait). However! Not all of the drabbles will be romantic. In fact there will be four categories. Romantic, Friendship, Familial (LIKE a family) and Family (ACTUAL family). I have tried to fit in as much ships that are on main as possible!
My list of drabbles, in the order that I will post them (subject to change):
Klance- Snow- Romantic
Hance- Charity- Friendship
Corance- Candy Cane- Familial
Allurance- Ice Skating- Romantic
Pidgance- Hot Chocolate- Familial
Shidge- Decorate- Familial
Hunay- Pie- Romantic
Shunk- Sweaters- Friendship
Heith- Cookies- Friendship
Shallura- Mistletoe- Romantic
Punk- Eggnog- Friendship
Shance- Shopping- Romantic
Kallura- Cold- Friendship
Kidge- Gift wrapping- Familial
Shatt- Christmas Tree- Romantic
Latte- Fireplace- Romantic
Sheith- Stockings- Familial
Katt- Candle- Friendship
Matt/ Pidge- Movies- Family
Romalluridge- Makeovers- Friendship
Lance/ his younger family members- Santa- Family
Polydins- Party- Familial
Shklance- Box- Friendship
Polydins/ Polydins’ families- Feast- Family
Merry Christmas!
EDIT: I have changed the order at the end! From Katt down has been rearranged to make more sense in my eyes.
EDIT 2: Here are the links!

Couriouscat prompt - Heith. Drabble ❤️💛
Tumblr media
💛❤️💛❤️
💛❤️💛❤️
It’s already dark outside when there’s a knock on the door to his hospital room.
He’s not expecting anyone. Krolia and Kolivan already visited, Shiro is away for couple of days, besides none of them would bother with knocking. They’d just barge in.
“Come in.” He says warily hoping it’s not the nurses again with another dose of sedatives.
“Hi Keith. Is it bad time?” Says Hunk as he tentatively peeks in.
Keith immediately perks up. He hasn’t seen any of the other Paladins since their departure to finish Sendak off and he was worried sick. Shiro assured him that everyone was fine, just bruised and exhausted, but it’s good to see it with his own two eyes.
“Not at all.” He assures his friend enthusiastically and straightens up on the bed. “How are you feeling?”
“Oh, you know. Just a little sore.” He taps the bandages encircling his temple. “But other than that I’m ok. I’ve heard you’ve had it the worst out of all of us. They said you’ve been in a coma for few days.”
“Oh, that.” Keith clears his throat sheepishly. “Actually, they just had to put me to sleep, because apparently I wanted to run off somewhere as soon as I woke up the first time around. Can’t really remember anything.”
Hunk lets out a rumbling laugh at his confession and it makes Keith smile against his embarrassment. He really likes Hunk’s laugh, it makes him warm and tingly all over.
“Only you, Keith. Can’t say I’m surprised.”
Hunk comes up to his bed and makes himself comfortable on the edge, by his feet.
“Have you seen the rest?”
To Keith surprise Hunk looks away, blushing.
“Ah, you see, I wasn’t allowed out of bed myself until now, and like... your room was the closest so...” It’s blatantly a lie. Even the most oblivious person could tell with Hunk, he couldn’t lie if his life depended on it. He starts fiddling with the hem of his hospital gown. Keith knows it’s a nervous habit of Hunk, something he does when his insecurities act up. Huh. “You’re kinda the first person I came to visit.” He admits, still not meeting Keith’s eyes.
But why?
Keith reaches out for Hunks hand and squeezes it lightly. It’s much bigger than his and he gets distracted for a second there, revelling in the sight of how their skin tones contrast with each other, and how right it feels, before he looks up and smiles.
“Thank you for worrying about me.”
Hunk finally turns his face towards him, eyes wide, the flush even more prominent on his cheeks as his fingers twitch against Keith’s.
“Yeah man, anytime.” He says quietly, barely above whisper.
The air between them charges with the kind of tension that sends Keith’s heart into an override and makes his palms sweat. It releases a flurry of butterflies into his stomach. Quite a familiar sensation whenever he’s around the Yellow Paladin.
He’s had a crush on Hunk for quite a while now. It probably started somewhere around the time they went into the weblum belly and had the opportunity to spend some time alone during that mission, get to know each other better.
Ever since then Keith couldn’t stop paying attention to him. Hunk is literally the sweetest, kindest and funniest person he’s ever known, he’s also super smart and loyal. It didn’t take long for Keith to fall hard.
Keith is also not as oblivious as people seem to think.
And maybe part of it is wishful thinking, but...
...could it be that Hunk possibly likes him back? At least a little?
He’s here, right? Checking up on Keith before even Pidge or Lance, nervous, blushing and lying through his teeth.
“Hunk?” He leans in a little, deciding to take the leap. Actions always came easier to him than words.
He gently cups Hunk’s cheek with his free hand and brings their mouths together in a chaste kiss.
He feels Hunk tense all over for a split of second, and Keith’s ready to let go and apologise, but then those full, warm lips start moving against his and he’s floating.
He swears.
He’s sure he’s having an out of body experience or something.
Hunk shyly places his hand on Keith’s hip, stroking his thumb over the blanket, and even through so many layers Keith could feel the warmth radiating from this small touch and hums in contentment.
They eventually part but stay close, forehead touching, nosed squished together.
“You... kissed me.” Hunk stutters.
“Yeah.”
“Me, Hunk...”
“Yeah.” Keith repeats and nuzzles down into Hunk’s neck while wrapping both arms around his shoulders in a hug. Hunk’s hugs were the best thing in existence. “Wouldn’t wanna kiss anyone else.” He mumbles into the smooth, dark skin.
God, Hunk smelled so good under all that sterile, hospital scent.
“Oh.”
“Yeah.”
“M... me too.”
Keith convinces Hunk to stay the night and they fall asleep curled around each other.
Hunk is so much more comfy than bed.

loverboy Hunk
inspired by this post
Keith couldn’t stand diplomatic missions, but it had to be done. Voltron was to be a symbol of peace. Allura found that to mean forming alliances.
All of the Paladins were thrown into this. But Keith wondered if he was the least suited for being a Paladin. Not really on a level of skill; he was skilled as a fighter and pilot. He’d pull it together by the skin of his teeth. But being a symbol wasn’t something the Garrison prepared him for.
Keith scowled and hung to the outskirts.
Hunk might have been the next least suited, but he had the diplomatic part down. He couldn’t keep a plane steady in a pinch, but could charm the jewels of a queen.
At one point Allura found it best to pair them together.
“You relax around Hunk. It’s better than when you’re grimacing. We don’t need song and dance, but we’d do better without your stormy presence.”
Keith did feel more relaxed around Hunk. Aside from Shiro, he was his closest friend on Voltron. It would make the missions bearable.
On the third planet, Keith began to notice a pattern.
Hunk would greet an alien. During a brief conversation, they’d start to giggle at the puns Hunk would make. Hunk would thank them and talk to someone new. The first alien would continue following Hunk with their eyes (or eye). They’d ask Keith questions about Hunk. Rinse and repeat.
It wasn’t until the fifth planet that someone approached Allura about an engagement.
Keith found it amusing not because it was unlikely Hunk could attract such attention, but because of how innocently it all began: Hunk being a friendly face and a warm aura. He embodied something everyone craved.
Keith could understand.
It didn’t hurt that it also drove Lance crazy how Hunk didn’t need to try to pull hearts.
Hunk was flustered as the team discussed the engagement proposal.
“We should come up with a cover story before we get to the next planet,” Shiro crossed his arms.
“Indeed, marriage alliances cannot be on the table,” Coran agreed.
“Marriage alliance!” Hunk exclaimed. He started muttering about the reasons he could not move to outer space, current circumstances aside.
Keith patted his shoulder and handed him a gadget to fiddle with. “Relax…loverboy.”
AN: First, Hunk is my actual son. I love him so much. Next, I love Keith and Hunk’s friendship. Their interactions are everything and I wish we got to see more of it in canon. Last, I definitely want to do more loverboy!Hunk especially after this personality swap AU. my beta and i can’t spell

Their first kiss is quick but soft, like Keith.
When their lips touch, Hunk feels his stomach fill with butterflies. He feels like he’s dreaming, or maybe floating into space.
Then, almost as quickly as it starts, Keith’s warmth is gone.
Keith’s eyes widen and he backs away a few steps, “I-I’m so sorry,” he stutters, “I don’t know what came over me-”
“Keith.”
“-and I just, I’m so sorry.”
“Keith,” Keith opens his mouth again to say something else, but closes it again at Hunk’s look, “It’s fine. I’ve wanted to do that too for, well, for a while.”
A blush spreads across Keith’s cheeks almost all the way up to his ears, “You? Kiss me? Are you- Are you sure?”
Hunk smiles and steps towards Keith, putting a hand on his cheek, “I don’t know, maybe I’d need to try that again. Can I?”
Keith turns impossibly redder and smiles back, “Yeah, always.”
Hunk leans forwards, pressing his lips to Keith’s.
This time, the kiss is slow and sweet, like Hunk.

A drabble idea, if you want it! My best friend and I are on the cross country team, and her first boyfriend joined the team to be near her even though he hated running. He actually turned out to be pretty good at it!
omg, best motivation ever to get in shape, amirite? lmao - that’s super cute!
I went back and forth between hance and heith for this but I’ve never written heith so I decided to give it a go! :)
“Hey, look who’s here.”
Keith receives a sharp jab in his ribs from Lance, causing him to look up from their seat on the bleachers where he was tying up his shoelaces. For a second, Keith can’t figure out what Lance is trying to get him to look at. And then, he sees him.
Panting and out of breath as he runs up to them is Hunk, dressed in shorts and a tank top. Keith gives a confused tilt of the head as his boyfriend catches up to them.
“What are you doing here?” he asks Hunk, looking up and down at his work out clothes as Hunk pauses to catch his breath.
“I decided to join cross country with you guys,” Hunk replies, attempting a small smile as he clutches his side.
“Alright! That’s awesome!” Lance cheers, nudging Keith again. He’s really got to stop doing that.
Keith raises an eyebrow.
“Why?” he asks as Lance smacks his forehead with a hand. Such weird behavior.
“Well, cross country takes up a lot of your time,” Hunk explains. “And you get tired because you have to wake up so early everyday even though it’s summer break!”
Keith contemplates his words. Everything Hunk has just said is true, but he’s not sure how it connects with Hunk’s sudden, strange desire to join up.
“So what does that have to do with you deciding to join?” he asks. “I thought you hated running.”
“Are you serious, mullet head?” Lance exclaims, throwing his hands up in the air. “It couldn’t be more obvious.”
“What’s obvious?” Keith shoots back at him, annoyed.
Hunk sighs and rolls his eyes.
“I hate running, yes,” he agrees, “but I hate not having as much time to spend with you even more.”
Keith blinks, feeling his face heat up.
“There he is,” Lance smirks.
Without speaking, Keith stands up from his seat and wraps his arms around Hunk’s neck. Hunk squeezes him back, letting Keith know that he understands it to mean he’s thankful.
“I just hope you won’t throw up like you did after that roller coaster we went on last week,” Lance says.
“He can handle it,” Keith counters at once as he pulls back and smiles at Hunk.
And sure enough, in a week’s time, Hunk outlasts the both of them by miles.

“Do… you like it?” questioned Hunk as he wrung his hands together, lip caught between his teeth nervously. “Hunk, I love it,” whispered Keith in awe, slowly turning the steel dagger in his hands. His gaze flickered to Hunk. “You made this?” Hunk could only nod as he released his bottom lip, grinning dopily. “Yeah. You can dual wield now. And be extra cool.” Keith matched Hunk’s grin, eyes twinkling with mirth. “Extra cool?” He reiterated in a teasing tone, eyebrows raised. Hunk flushed. “Well, y-yeah… You’re already pretty cool, so obviously—” Keith stopped him with a kiss. “Thank you.” ——————— @mikiri - heith + presents!! I hope you like it!

I had a prompt for Heith where people in Hunk’s past were cruel to him and Keith helped him through the struggle. I’m so sorry, my inbox seems to have eaten the request!! I have no idea where it went. I hope that this is what you were looking for :)
Hunk looked at his hands and didn’t know what to do with them.
People had always told him that they were big and clumsy, warning him to be careful, admonishing him to be gentle. He’d always been bigger than the other kids, that meant he had to make sure he didn’t accidentally hurt anyone by playing too rough or just existing. They expected him to be awkward, telling him so often that he’d started to believe it himself. He lived in that fear, never being good enough and always afraid that someone was going to be hurt. That it would be all his fault.
He’d tried to do something better with the hands they called clumsy and too-big. He trained them to take apart the insides of machines, learning the delicate systems and how they worked. He could fix things that were broken, finding the missing, cracked pieces inside and make them better. He could improve it beyond what it had been built for.
Hunk had trained his hands to cook, to find the artwork in creation and innovation. Food was just like machines, he could bring the pieces together into something new and create something that was better than it used to be. He could make people happy with these hands. At least he tried.
Now they put a weapon in them and told him to fight when all he wanted to do was run away.
“Hey Hunk, I didn’t see you at dinner.”
A voice startled him out of his thoughts and he looked up at Keith, the Red Paladin leaning in the doorway. Keith never had the same problems, he threw himself into battle like he was born for it. Shiro too, he faced down the Galra with grim determination and tore them apart with his bare hands. Even Lance and Pidge stood their ground, Pidge cutting the foes down with her bayard close enough to be burned by the Galra-bot sparks and Lance bragging about his sharpshooting skills.
When he hesitated, they all thought he was afraid.
“I just wasn’t that hungry, it’s okay.” He had never been a good liar and Keith picked up on it right away. The Red Paladin moved to sit down beside him and Hunk didn’t protest.
“I know the fight today was a bit more intense than we realized, but we all got out of it in one piece. We took the Galra down, there’s nothing to be afraid of.” Keith offered, not really used to reassuring others but learning how to be a friend.
Hunk looked down at his hands. It wasn’t fear, not in the way they thought. He was more afraid of himself than anything.
“That’s not…you ever think that I’m not supposed to be here?”
Keith blinked in surprise. “Of course you’re supposed to be here.” He said, matter-of-factly. “Who else would pilot the Yellow Lion?”
“I don’t know, anyone? Someone who’s a better fighter?” Hunk sighed, hunching his shoulders uncomfortably like he could somehow make himself smaller. “I don’t think I’m made for this.”
“Because you hesitated today?”
“Yeah.”
Keith frowned thoughtfully. “I know that you’re nervous, but you’ve never backed down when we’ve been in trouble before. You figured out how to get the scaltrite from the weblum too and saved both of our lives. You’re just doubting yourself.”
“It’s more than that.” Anger edged Hunk’s words and he folded his hands together, safe and quiet in his lap where they couldn’t do any more harm. “All you guys are so good at all of this and I’m not. You know I’m not. I don’t like fighting, I don’t know if I want to do this.”
“But you want to help people?”
The question hung in the air and Hunk knew it would be his undoing. He always wanted to help, he wanted to make everyone happy. He’d spent his whole life learning how to make things instead of destroying them, was fighting really the only way now? He couldn’t just be someone who smashed things apart, using all that strength and anger he buried inside so it wouldn’t hurt anyone. That’s not who he was, he’d tried so hard to define himself as something else.
“I don’t want to hurt anybody.” He admitted softly. “All I want to do is make things.”
Keith reached out and gently unknotted Hunk’s hands, coaxing them apart before lacing his fingers with Hunk’s own. “And that’s exactly why we need you.”

2018 Fic List
Since I did this for 2019, I wanted to do one for 2018 because I guess I just love mucking around with lists XD
2018 was also the year harassment on my main account drove me to create 2 more separate AO3 accounts so I could continue to post non-drarry fics in peace until the drarry fandom found some chill, so around August/September is when links will start going to other accounts and I was super active there rather than my main.
(2019 List)
Note: All explicit rated fics on my main AO3 account are behind an account lock, that means only logged in AO3 users can read them. This is for a couple of reasons, but a big one is because those fics are the ones that I find reposted the most frequently. Don’t repost my fics.
Most popular fics of 2018:
(because I’m doing this now, I can’t get completely accurate for most popular within 2018, so it’s more like, which are my most popular fics of 2018 now)
Most Kudosed: ‘In the Ways That Matter’ (HP, Drarry, 1,260 Kudos, posted April) Most Hits: ‘Kinktober 2018′ (VLD, Multiship, 21,764 hits, posted October) Most Commented: ‘In the Ways That Matter’ (HP, Drarry, 83 comments, posted April)

Notes:
-What the hell was I on in September and how do I get my hands on it again XD I went fucking insane that month doing Sapphic September twice over + a ship week. YIKES. But also like, NEVER AGAIN, I remember I was so burned out halfway through Kinktober after that and struggled to finish kinktober’s list, then I went offline for a few months and didn’t write for just as long, but also some real life shit was going down so it’s all blurred together XD
-Aaaah, look at all them rarepairs, I do so love my rares!
-Still kinda bummed that S8 killed my VLD buzz cos writing for that fandom was so much fun and I miss it, I was gonna try get back into it this year, but then found out that even previously non-toxic corners of the fandom are toxic now and nope, killed my buzz all over again.
-STILL NO BBC MERLIN?!?!?! omg was 2017 really the last time I wrote for that fandom??????? Also no Star Trek, I really thought 2018 was the year I wrote that but I guess my memory is still shit XD must have been 2017 wow, but at least there’s still new fandoms for when I get around to making a 2017/2016 list XD which will luckily be smaller cos I wrote fewer but longer fics in 2016/2017
-Overall, like 2019, 2018 was a bad year for me in terms of word count. I guess it was the beginning of my health really affecting my ability to write and my shift to accommodate for that by writing shorter things instead of trying and failing to write long fics like I used to (altho actually I think that started in 2017 really, guess I need to make the list to see XD). I’m still pretty proud though, cos I always wanted to write more sapphic content and doing sapphic september was something I didn’t think I’d manage but I did it 2x over =) and then off the heels of that success, I did Femslash Feb for HP in 2019 and some of Sapphic Sept 2019 too
-Kinktober was also super fun, even though I was a big ball of anxiety the whole time and burning out pretty badly after September. But I really got outside of my comfort zone to write several things I not only hadn’t written before, but also don’t even personally like XD I wrote a couple of my squicks and that was an interesting experience. I also gained a few new kinks, also an interesting experience XD

Glimmer slumped forward into her seat and piled her bag of art and supplies onto the desk. Her teacher’s eyes flicked up directly in front of her, making it seem like a spotlight was shining over her head. Why did she have to sit right next to the teacher’s desk?
“Do you have a late pass?”
Her eyes snapped from side to side incredulously, “No?”
The teacher clucked, “Don’t sound so surprised- you’re late!”
“By two seconds! Besides,” she swung her arm out to draw Ms Weaver’s attention over to the two soccer girls chatting in the corner, “they’re not even sitting down!”
Ms Weaver’s scrutiny didn’t shift from Glimmer’s face for even a second, but the two girls were staring at her now. They were both wearing high-waisted shorts and the red shirts of the school soccer team- ever popular, ever beautiful. Adora was the taller of the two with blond hair kept tightly in a ponytail that hypnotized anyone who walked behind her with its rhythmic swing. She was Ms Weaver’s favourite and everybody knew it.
“Stop making a spectacle, Glimmer,” Weaver’s voice brought her back to the present, “Now, if you don’t mind, I would like to start the class.”
Glimmer huffed and glared at the other girl who was sticking her tongue out in her direction. Her name was Cateline or something like that but everybody just called her Cat.
Glimmer rolled her eyes and shifted to face the front of the room as the girls walked (or rather sashayed) to their seats and put her head down on her desk. She let her mind wander as Weaver’s voice droned on a few feet ahead of her. The paint spots splattering the canvas bag lying on her desk always became exponentially more interesting in her chemistry class. She hummed softly, rocking her head gently from side to side from where it rested on the crook of her bent elbow.
“... so I’ll be choosing your partners.”
Those cursed words brought Glimmer’s mind crashing back into focus. She shot up, “What?!”
Ms Weaver glared at her and hissed her words through gritted teeth, “Maybe if you payed attention you would know what’s going on.”
Glimmer sunk down into her seat and tried to hide her face behind her art bag, her face burning and her stomaching churning. She could hear the class giggling and snickering around her.
“Are there any relevant questions?”
Behind her there was movement.
In front, Weaver sighed, “Yes, Kyle?”
“When are we going to find out who we are partners with?”
“Now, actually,” Weaver reached for a paper, “Know that these are almost completely random- except for a few I know would have been disasters- and these are final- no changes, no negotiations. That being said: Cat, you’re with Scylar; Kyle, you’re with Lonnie...”
As she continued to read through the list of students, the pace of Glimmer’s tapping foot sped up as her anxiety grew proportionally higher.
“-and Adora, you’ll be with Glimmer...”
Glimmer groaned quietly and let her face sink even further into her arm.
Ms Weaver came to the end of her list and Glimmer felt her glare momentarily pause on her curled back as the woman scanned over the class, “Well? What are you waiting for? Get to your partners and get it work!”
The classroom erupted into scuffling chaos filled with “Should I move over there or do you want to come over here?” “Hey, that’s where I was going to sit!” and “Wait who’s my partner?”; Glimmer didn’t move.
The seat next to her that had recently been vacated was refilled by a hesitant red splotch in her peripheral vision. Glimmer refused to react, unsure of what to say or do in the presence of ‘Miss Perfect’ herself and instead continued staring at the plastic wood of the desk only inches from her face.
Weaver was moving towards her hunched form; her red pencil skirt swished and her red pumps tapped on the floor as she walked, stopping a little left of Glimmer.
“You know, Adora,” she purred, “I really am sorry you had to be paired with... her, but I think you’re the only one in the class who could pull it off.”
She wasn’t even trying to whisper or keep her voice down- she wanted Glimmer to know what a failure and a nuisance she was.
Glimmer couldn’t help but growl under her breath, a sound that didn’t even escape the suffocating cave of her arms she was creating around her head. It’s not like she asked to be here. In fact, she’d rather be in any other class, in any other situation, with any other partner.
Ms Weaver swished and tapped away into another direction; off to reign terror over some other poor student.
The sound of the classroom was reaching a volume hardly ever seen in the presence of Weaver- a kaleidoscope of yelling, and discussing, and laughing-the room was filled to the brim with noise. That is, filled everywhere except the roughly 5 square feet around her and Adora. There seemed to be a bubble around them filled with a sense of awkward uncertainty that muffled the sounds of the other partners.
A hand suddenly moved to place itself on Glimmer’s still-hunched shoulder and she flinched away, but it was too late. She couldn’t go back to pretending she was a tightly curled ball now that she had proved she could actually move.
She settled on rolling her eyes and letting out a huff, “What do you want?”
Adora blinked in surprise and Glimmer realized how harsh her tone had been- oh well.
“Oh! Well, um, to work together, I guess?”
Her voice was softer than Glimmer had been expecting, but Glimmer knew better. Her soft voice and pretty eyes and her charming laugh were all a cover up for what a snake she was. She had to be- that’s the only way somebody could possibly climb up the rigorous mountain that was high school’s social hierarchy.
“Fine. What do we need to do?” Blunt. Short. Simple. The sooner she could get this over with, the better.
Adora took a deep breath and spread her hands over the desk as if she were smoothing the folds in a skirt, “So we need to make a Bohr’s model of an element and then we need to make a poster about it with that information.”
She pointed to the projected screen and Glimmer looked up in that direction just long enough to registered the fact that there were words on the screen.
“K. I’ll do the model, you do the poster.”
“Oh,” Adora glanced down for a moment before looking at Glimmer again, “Ok. I wouldn’t mind working together more, though, if you wanted?”
“Nope. This is fine,” Glimmer turned to begin rummaging through her bag for her notebook as if she could pretend the other girl wasn’t sitting next to her.
“Do you know what the Bohr model looks like?”
Glimmer whipped around, seething and with her short, bobbed hair swinging against her cheekbones for a few moments in reaction to the sudden movement, “I’m not stupid.”
Adora was taken aback and a small amount of satisfaction seeped into Glimmer’s rage.
“I’m not stupid, I’m not lazy, I’m not useless! I’m not anything Ms Weaver or you and all your nasty little friends say about me!”
If Adora was taken aback before, she was shocked now, “I- I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to imply anything!”
What was that: scared? apologetic? Glimmer didn’t believe either.
Adora’s face seemed to glitch for a second, “Wait- we don’t say those things about you?”
“Yeah? Then what do you say?!”
“Uhhhh,” she bit her lip and looked from side to side, “No offense, but uh, we don’t really say anything about you.”
Glimmer let out a “humph” and rolled her eyes again. She was getting close to breaking her record for most eye rolls in a 20 minute period, “What element are we doing?”
“Oh, uh...”
Could she stop saying that? Could she stop acting like she was so surprised every time Glimmer opened her mouth?
“Well, we need to choose an element. Together.”
Yuck. If Glimmer ever heard Adora using the word ‘together’ in reference to the two of them again, she would probably (no, definitely) puke.
“What about Hydrogen; that’ll be the easiest, right?”
“I think Lonnie and Kyle already took it,” she gave an apologetic frown.
“Right, fine. Lithium?”
“Penelope and Maha.”
“Calcium?”
“Elizabeth and Heith.”
Glimmer let out an exasperated cry that sounded slightly like she was being strangled, “Sodium god damn it??”
“Noelle and Sebastian.”
“Heliu- wait. Noelle isn’t in our class! She isn’t even in our grade!”
“Oh yeah, haha...” She gave Glimmer an awkward grin as if that could explain whatever the hell she was trying to do.
“Ok, why are you lying to me about this stuff?! You’re obviously making up that list as you go along- there’s literally no way you could know what elements everybody has! So what are you trying at; do you want me to fail?”
Glimmer’s firery anger was exploding again, little flames of tone lashing out at Adora as she spoke. The other girl looked surprised, as if the idea had never occurred to her and that she hadn’t expected Glimmer to be mad about lying to her.
Surprise shifted to embarrassment and a red blush settled over Adora’s cheekbones.
Why did she have to look nice even when she was all red-faced and flustered? It wasn’t fair.
Adora was poking her two index fingers together as she spoke, “Ok so, I really wanted to do this one element, Bismuth, but I wasn’t sure if you’d go for it?”
Glimmer blinked at her; she didn’t have a clue about what was going on.
“Sorry,” Adora gave a lopsided grin to compensate for... whatever she had tried to do.
“Why? Why that element; what’s so special about it?”
Adora giggled and the blush deepened to to almost scarlet on her pale skin, “Ok so like, I’m gay and like, uh, it’s gay. Ya know, bi-smuth. I would prefer lesbian-smuth, haha but, oh well...”
She shot finger guns in Glimmer’s direction and tried for a smile, but her clenched teeth just made her look more awkward, “Also it’s a rainbow so, you know, that’s cool too.”
Glimmer’s brain was short circuiting: what? The gay disaster in her head was lighting up all sorts of colours- many of them she didn’t like. She usually felt a certain sense of camaraderie with other people in the LGBT+ community and a pull started growing towards Adora; a rainbow coloured rope that wrapped around her waist and pulled by an invisible force. On the other hand, Adora simply repulsed her; she was annoying and snarky and arrogant. There was no place for someone like her in Glimmer’s world.
Adora was still rattling on, “-I mean, of course, I’d get it if you don’t want to do that, I totally-“
“I’m gay too.”
“What?”
“You go for girls right? I do too.”
“Oh!” Again with the look of surprise on her face; it made Glimmer struggle not to roll her eyes, “Cool! So, uh, could we do Bismuth or...”
She looked at Glimmer with big, round puppy-dog eyes of the clearest blue. It wasn’t fair she was so pretty while Glimmer had to sit here looking like a paint-covered potato. What a brat.
Glimmer let out another exasperated sigh and threw her hands into the air; god knows what sort of revenge someone of powerful as Adora could get if Glimmer didn’t follow along with what she wanted, “Yeah fine, let’s go ahead and do it.”
Adora’s blinding grin would have been a nice sight if Glimmer didn’t see through it to the venom, “Great! Thanks!”
She jumped forward, obviously attempting to give Glimmer a hug only to be met by a stare dripping in icicles.
Adora retracted hers arms with a quiet, “Oh, right. Sorry.”
Glimmer shifted towards the far edge of her desk to in an attempt to create more space between them. She remembered something about how increased volume decreases pressure, but maybe that only applies to gases and not people.
She pulled out her Chemistry notebook and was suddenly embarrassed for the art, stickers, and glittery puff paint adding a quarter inch of height to the cover; she wanted to prove that she wasn’t the ditz everyone was convinced she was but here she sat with a notebook that looked like it belonged to a fourth grader. She glanced at Adora who had pulled out her notebook now; it was plain black with Chemistry aggravatingly neatly written in silver sharpie. Glimmer began scolding herself in her mind for feeling ashamed for the over the top style she had always enjoyed. And since when was she trying to prove anything to anyone? Why should she care if they think she’s stupid; that’s their problem and she didn’t care... did she?
Adora had noticed Glimmer mistakenly staring at her while the turmoil boiled in her head but apparently hadn’t noticed the scowl she was wearing. The soccer girl gave her a cheery smile, looking almost hopeful. Hopeful over what?
Glimmer blew an unhumored puff of air through her nose and shook her head as she turned away from Adora once again.
“I like your notebook,” She sounded sad, hurt even; Adora was probably the strangest person Glimmer had had the inconvenience to interact with.
She threw open the cover of her notebook with as much aggression one can possibly direct at an object covered with 3D unicorn stickers.
Glimmer pulled phone out of her pocket so she could get a reference to base the model on. In the searches, an image of the metal popped up. It was quite rainbow. Maybe there was hope for this project anyways.
She tapped on an image and set her phone to rest on the side of her bag before hunching over to begin sketching her plans for the model and brainstorming possible materials. It was a relief to settle into a situation that was familiar and far more comfortable than being forced to talk to Adora. This entire class period had been one nightmare scenario chasing after another. Now, she could just focus on the paper in front of her, on the way her pencil made dusty, smooth curved lines in contrast to the ridged blue ones pre-printed on it. This was her world: the smell of graphite and the small scritching sound the tip of her pencil made as it met the glossy sheet.
But, of course, things could only go right for Glimmer for a few minutes at the most in this class. Her light source of flickering fluorescent bulbs set in the ceiling tiles was blocked out after only moments by the looming figure of Weaver.
Glimmer glared up at her, refusing to move her body, “Can I help you?”
“I just hope you’re working. I know you sometimes struggle with staying on track or accomplishing anything productive.”
The patronizing words boiled in Glimmer’s veins and she straightened out to make direct eye contact Weaver. Furious; that’s what Glimmer was. It was obvious Glimmer was working on her project and that should have been easy to tell from where Weaver was crowding her space. She just wanted to embarrass Glimmer and call her out in front of everyone. And that had certainly been accomplished; the entire class was unblinkingly watching them except for the guy two rows ahead who was watching what looked suspiciously like porn. Why didn’t Weaver bother him??
Glimmer’s face continued to grow red as the urge to yell back grew stronger. Unfortunately, the sensation of barbed wire being wrapped around her throat was growing stronger as well and she began praying that she wouldn’t burst into tears in front of everyone.
She was about to retort back something that probably would have gotten her suspended or at least landed her in detention when a voice beside her quipped, “Actually, Ms Weaver, we’ve gotten a lot done!”
Glimmer didn’t even try to hide the incredulous look on her face; why would Adora get involve with this? This had nothing to do with her.
Weaver raised an eyebrow at Glimmer before turning to address Adora, “I’m sure youhave, dear, but you don’t need to cover for your partner if she’s not doing her work.”
Adora’s eyebrows knit together as if she were confused, “No, really! We’ve got a lot done and Glimmer’s been helping with the planning a lot!”
Glimmer couldn’t help but look at her like an idiot. Was she so much of an airhead that she didn’t understand no matter what Glimmer did, Weaver would still pick on her? Had she really never noticed before?!
The glowering teacher strutted away with a final, “Hmm, well don’t work yourself too hard for the sake of your partner; it’s not like she cares but her grade anyways.”
Glimmer shot a scalding glare at her teacher’s back before curling around her notebook once more and again picking up the steady rhythm of pencil strokes on paper.
“I don’t know why she does that,” Adora’s voice startled her out of the space she had settled into inside her own mind, “She has no right and it’s cruel.”
“Yeah, well,” Glimmer snorted without looking up, “that’s what you get when the teacher hates you.”
“It’s not fair though! You get your work done and I knowyour grade is pretty good so-“
Glimmer spun around, “Wait a second, how do youknow anything about my grade?! That’s weird as hell!”
A pink began creeping its way onto Adora’s face again and her eyes widened in shock, “Oh god sorry, that does sound weird! Um let me explain? So sometimes I come after school to grade for Weaver for volunteer hours and I just noticed that you do really well on your tests and I just remembered that when Weaver was, well, basically just calling you lazy just then.”
Glimmer stared at the other girl for a second trying to figure out what the hell was going on for maybe the 50th time that period, “You say that as if it’s supposed to make it less creepy? Why are you paying so much attention to my grades and why do you remember them??”
“Um... just because I thought it was strange that she picked on you so much and didn’t really have a reason to?”
Yup, Adora was, without a doubt, the strangest person Glimmer had ever met.
“I just don’t know how you can like her,” Glimmer muttered under her breath and certainly not expecting a response.
“I don’t!” Adora almost seemed to be laughing.
Glimmer once again shifted from where she had been attempting to resume her work to face Adora (GOD this girl was distracting), “What do you mean you don’t like her?? You’re her favorite!”
“So?! That’s not my fault!” She was definitely laughing now and it made Glimmer mad, hearing what a nice of a sound it was, “I didn’t ask to be her favorite!”
“And I didn’t ask to be her leastfavorite,” Glimmer grimaced in Adora’s direction.
The smile fell from her face, “Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to-“
“Look can we just back to work?!” Glimmer snapped. She didn’t like how personal this conversation was getting; it made an uncomfortable anxiety begin bubbling up somewhere in her stomach that needed to stop right now.
Just as they both scooted in opposite directions, hoping the space between them would dissolve the awkward silence, the bell rang it’s annoying, screechy laugh that always made Glimmer jump.
Adora grabbed her bag and flashed Glimmer a smile that would have been kind or maybe even excited if it were real, “See ya tomorrow!”
Glimmer returned it with a grimace that she hoped conveyed how unfortunate she found that fact before grabbing her things and stomping her way out of the classroom without looking at anyone else.
This project was going to be hell.

HeithWeek2K17: Day Four - Compliments to the Chef
Summary: Keith and Hunk grew up together and along with their small circle of friends, were inseparable – until a major incident in Keith’s life tore him away. Now, years later, Keith reconnects with Hunk, and old secrets have a way of turning into second chances.
Ships: Heith; Shallura (mentioned)
Warning: One innuendo
“Compliments to the chef…again. Seriously, what do you put in these dishes, Hunk?”
From behind the heat lamps, Hunk laughed and placed another completed dish up for Keith to serve. “Just a special blend of herbs and spices, cultivated by a gourmand’s palate twenty-six years in maturation.”
Keith shook his head with that tender but genuine smile he showed a select few and headed back into the main dining room of Hunk’s restaurant, the Hungry Lion. A three-star Michelin establishment, it was world-renowned, but it wasn’t just Hunk’s tasty dishes that kept their reservation list filled months in advance. It was also their impeccable service, led by none other than the usually curt but always attentive Keith as its top waiter.
Keith came in early and stayed late, helping Hunk set up and clean up, and he even offered to lock up. Hunk sometimes took Keith up on it – the executive chef was bushed, especially during the holidays – and Hunk just thought Keith was appreciative for employment. It never occurred him that Keith had an underlying motive until Hunk forgot his car keys in his office one night and returned to find Keith tying a chef’s apron about his back, dressed only in jeans and a tight T-shirt.
“Uh…this isn’t what it looks like…?” Keith said, his own set of knives laid out upon the work area.
“Looks like you’re about ready to cook something in my kitchen,” Hunk said, though there was little heat to his words. They teased, especially since Keith looked sheepish, face red-tinted, expression embarrassed.
“Okay, maybe it’s exactly what it looks like.”
Maybe Hunk wasn’t that tired after all. “Need help?”
Keith blinked, then rubbed the back of his head. “Yeah, actually, if you don’t mind. My international cuisine course is on Italy this semester, and I’m having problems getting the crostini di fegato right.”
“All right!” Hunk cheered. “Bring on the chicken liver!”
That brought a reserved smile to Keith’s face, and they went to work on the dish together.
Hunk began by pointing out the routine for cleaning chicken liver and then chopping up parley and anchovies. The conversation remained static until Keith finally brought out the frying pan, and Hunk pushed up on a stool by the island, relaxing with his elbows back on the counter. “So you do this every time I let you lock up?”
Keith’s shoulders bunched. “…maybe.”
“You could have just told me, man. I would have let you use the kitchen anytime. No problem.”
When the only sound that came from Keith’s direction was the soft sizzling of the pan, Hunk prodded, “Keith? Talk to me, huh? I can’t help if you don’t – ”
“You’ve already done so much for me, Hunk,” Keith replied.
“Don’t forget the salt and pepper – and what do you mean? I gave you a job, Keith. That’s it. You’ve made it your own and even helped get me that third star.”
“But – But you didn’t have to. If Lance hadn’t begged you – ”
“He didn’t beg. He asked if I had an opening, and anyway, you could have asked me. If you hadn’t just disappeared during our second year of university…” Hunk walked over the wine closet and returned with a chilled white wine and two glasses. Keith had yet to turn to him. So Hunk glanced over his shoulder and muttered, “Add the dissolved flour now.”
Keith followed orders, almost in a robotic manner, causing Hunk to let out a sigh.
“Come on, Keith. We were friends. You, me, Lance, Pidge. We went to high school together. We picked the colleges near each other, and you just upped and –”
“You remember Shiro.”
Hunk’s eyes widened considerably. “Oh, man. I love your bro! Y’know, he brought me my first beer.”
Emotion returned to Keith’s voice, warm and fond. “Yeah, he’s awesome.”
“How’s he doing?”
And then it left again. “He lost an arm in Iraq during his second tour with the Marines.”
Hunk hunched over, pain in his gut like he’d been hit. “Wow. That sucks. I’m sorry to hear that. Is-Is he okay?” Or as okay as anyone could be after that.
Keith shrugged, stirring again. “He is now, but it wasn’t just the arm. He – some serious stuff happened over there, and he returned with PTSD. He’s in therapy now and found a good job. Got engaged to this British artist.”
“I’m glad to hear it.” Hunk uncorked the wine and eyed the bread, buttering the sides and placing the slices on the warm grill himself. “So you were – ”
“Yeah.”
“And you dropped out to –”
“Yup.”
“And you didn’t think to tell us?”
Keith tensed again, so Hunk rested a warm hand upon his friend’s shoulder and waited. And waited. And then turned off the stove himself when the pâté finished.
“It was bad, Hunk. I didn’t – Shiro needed me, and I didn’t know how he…I didn’t think to – If Lance hadn’t kept annoying me with texts and emails – ”
“He loves you, Keith. We all do.” Softer, he added, “I wish you would have told me. You didn’t have to go through that alone.”
Keith ducked his head, so Hunk pretended not to see the tears that stained his cheeks. Geez. He knew Shiro and Keith were private people, but they’d all grown up with Shiro as their favorite parental figure. He picked them up at soccer practice or school, and dropped them off home or brought them back to Keith’s and his for the night. Almost all of his favorite memories from his youth happened with those two, and now – to hear all they went through alone –
“I’m sorry,” Keith muttered, wiping his red-rimmed eyes with the back of his hand. “I just – I didn’t want to bother anyone with our – “
“It’s not bothering.” Hunk’s hand gripped Keith’s shoulders, gazing down into those trembling violet irises. “It’s never bothering when it’s you.”
Hunk hadn’t meant to put such a tender tone in his voice, but it was there. He wouldn’t take it back. After all, Shiro had given him that first beer in hopes that it would give Hunk enough courage to finally tell Keith how he felt. Instead, Hunk ended up passed out on the living room couch.
The memory still twisted uncomfortably in his gut, but Keith dispelled it when he ducked his head, shoulders shuddering. “I missed you, y’know. I thought of calling so many times, especially you, Hunk. But I didn’t want to take advantage. You give everything to everyone, and I thought –”
“You should’ve.” And he should’ve, too. Hunk never should have left it to Lance to coax Keith back from oblivion. “But you’re here now, and we’re never letting you go again.”
I’m never letting you go again.
As if Keith heard him, Keith reached up and clasped Hunk’s hands upon his shoulders, letting one of those genuine smiles show. Suddenly, Hunk felt he was back in high school, and Keith was on the soccer field, smiling up at him after scoring a goal. Quiznak. Hunk’s heart melted all over again.
“Come on,” Hunk barely managed, leading Keith toward the counter, where he’d set up the silverware and wine glasses with two stools. “Let’s see how this tastes.”
As Keith poured the wine, Hunk completed the dish’s presentation. “So when do you graduate from the culinary institute?”
“Another two years or so. I still have baking and pastry essentials, culinary masters, and an externalship.”
“Well, you’ll do your externalship here –” Hunk’s voice left no room for discussion. “– and I just hope once you graduate, you’ll let me make an offer. Rolo’s decent, but I could seriously use a good sou chef.”
Keith’s purple eyes sparkled in the low-lighting. “Yeah? Really?”
Hunk served the dish with a reverent bow, stealing another surprised grin from Keith. “Yeah, of course. You’re a natural at this, Keith. I can’t wait to get you in my kitchen full-time, not just as a part-time visitor.”
Keith’s cheeks bloomed, and he lifted up his wine class for a toast. “Y’know, I could be in your kitchen full-time already, maybe just not your work one.”
Hunk held his glass just short of Keith’s. He couldn’t have heard that right. “What-What do you mean?”
“I mean, I’d like to try on your hat and apron in your apartment’s kitchen one day, and maybe just those things.”
Don’t create the mental image. Don’t create the mental image. Don’t create the – oh, delectable. “Just so you know, I’m the executive chef in every kitchen I own.”
Keith clinked his glass with Hunk’s. “I’ll have to give my compliments to the chef, then.”
Hunk would drink to that.
The End

Closing Time (Heith)
Keith who took his time cleaning up a messy table a family of three had left behind, heard the familiar jingle from the bells that hung on top of their diners doors. Lifting his head just the slightest he saw his best friend enter with a hand running through his wet hair from the gentle rain from outside.
“Hey! Don’t get the floor all wet! I’m gonna have to clean that up now!” Keith grumbled from his spot.
“What? It’s no big deal it’s gonna dry up sooner or later. Besides, you guys close in like half an hour.” Shiro gave him a shrug. “Got my pizza?” he sat on one of the stools in front of the counter and got comfy.
“You only say that only because you don’t have to clean anything all day.” Keith squeaked. Placing the tableware and utensils in his rolling cart he made his way with the cart behind the counter. “Hunk! Shiro’s here for the pizza.”
With a smile on his face, Hunk presented two boxes of pizzas in one hand. “Hey, Shiro, I got you and Lance extra Spinach and Onions on your pizza. How about I pay for the pizza on the house and we call this your present for Christmas?” He handed the boxes over to Keith who looked irritated.
“Hunk! You know Lance isn’t going to be happy about that. He’s probably going to say something like, ‘since that's our present, the last time they came over our house to have dinner was their present for Christmas and birthdays.’” He gave the pizza to Shiro who had a face that said ‘I’m not a part of this, I’m just here for the pizza’ look. “And I sure as hell want whatever Lance is making me this year. Shiro, tell lance I want my present and that I had nothing to do with the free pizza. I have something planned for him.” He rolled his eyes.
“I’m sure Lance will get you both your presents, he's been working on it for a while now. Are you sure I don’t owe you guys anything?” Shiro motioned towards his pockets.
“Nah, it’s cool man. The dinner we had the other day was superb even my mom would be proud of Lance. I will get Lance something for Christmas it was a joke. Although, next time you get free pizza I’m not putting the extra bits on there. You would have to pay for those add-ons,” he winked.
Shiro laughed and got up from his seat towards the door. “Sure, sure. but I better have them piled on their like butter on toast. Thanks, guys. See you in tomorrow in the morning!” with his back turned, he opened the door and the bell jingled for a brief moment until only the soft jazz music in the background filled in.
Keith sighed and turned to grab the rolling cart of dishes and brought it into the back with him. Hunk had started to clean up the kitchen as well and both had begun what had been routine for them every day since five years ago. Usually, they wouldn’t say much as they cleaned since they got home faster that way. Hunk did hum along with the music as he worked to clean his stove tops and pile up the pots and pans into the sink Keith had been working on.
They took a whole hour of cleaning for themselves. Hunk had finished first and just took out the filled up trash outside to the disposal out back. Wiping his hands on his aprons, Keith took it off and went to the front of the diner to find Hunk waiting with his coat near the entrance.
“You know, you always seem to blow me away with how beautiful you look every day. Whats your secret?” Hunk gave held out Keith’s coat for him as the other shrugged it on snuggly onto his body.
“What are you talking about? I’m covered in gunk and I smell like fried food that has been out for too long. Not saying that’s what your food tastes like, I just smell that way.” He turned around to look up into the taller man’s eyes that shown with fondness.
“You do smell, but so do I. Also, the way the gunk stays on your clothes is just pure art. You are a picture to behold and I’m lucky to wake up to your face every day, much less work with you. It kind of pains me to see you work here and bust your butt for me.” Hunks eyes darkened.
“What are you talking about?” Keith cut in. “For us, not just you. You and I are stuck together and share our problems, if you can call it that, till the end of time. We bought this place together, so we work together. I rather be here with you than anywhere else in the world, you got that Muffin?” He quirked his brow. “Now come here.” Keith grabbed onto both sides of Hunks collar and pulled him down for a kiss that lasted for a minute.
Hunk grabbed onto the back of Keiths waste and pulled his smaller body closer to his. Pulling away from one another they stared into the other’s eyes.
“I got it.”
For anyone who loves Heith as much as I do
