A Hekatean Spell for Body Pain

This spell calls upon Hekate as Soteira - the Saviour, Einalia - of the Sea and Kratais - the Mighty or the Rocky, an epithet also connected to the sea. I've created it to deal better with my chronic pain, and I hope it can help some of you as well.

Take a warm shower or at least wash your hands and face. If you cannot, lie down somewhere comfortable. Whatever you do, imagine water washing away your pain and filling you with strength to go. Try to not just visualize, but invoke the feeling. Engage your inner senses as much as you can in this act. Begin chanting:

Hekate, Hekate, Hekate,

Soteira, come to my aid.

Hekate, Hekate, Hekate,

Einalia, give me relief.

Hekate, Hekate, Hekate,

Kratais, come, send me your strength.

Chant - doing so, continue calling upon your imagination and, unless you really cannot use physical water, to wash yourself - as long as you find appropriate. When you feel better, say thank you.

Rosary of Hekate (SOLD)

This unique set of fine-quality devotional beads was created and consecrated in the name of the goddess Hekate. It is currently selling for $215.

It was constructed from beads of Black Moonstone (a stone powerfully associated with Hekate and her dominion over the time of the Dark Moon,) with counter beads made from scavenged Dog Wristbones (canines being widely considered as chief among Her sacred animals), each of which are bracketed with small Garnets (intimately associated with the mysteries of the Underworld.) There is also a drop-bead made in the style of a Belladonna Berry, using a naturally dark violet Pearl. The centerpiece is a solid sterling silver Strophalos charm, which was ritually silver-smithed by a Hekatean acolyte in Greece. The focal pendant is a 1920's Skeleton Key (keys being one of Her most significant historical symbols), which was rituallly interred at a Crossroads from Dark Moon to Dark Moon. The key was then exhumed, the elements assembled, and the whole piece suffumigated with Storax Smoke (an ancient fumigatory offering used in Her name for thousands of years.)

This piece measures approximately 24 inches/61 centimeters long, and all connecting rings and pins are made from silver-plated steel. I’ve been working with blue lotus as a dream herb for years in tinctures and elixirs and love the results, but it’s just as powerful as an ointment. This is my dream flight ointment and I pulled on that connection between Hekate and the Egyptian goddess Heqet (or Heket, as you like), using the narcotic, euphoric power of blue lotus to enter into deep dream space. I’ve also added peppermint, another herb associated with Hekate, and of course there’s eastern red cedar to continue with the plant theme of the kit. Hekate kits release tonight at 6pm CST. 🖤

Facebook group dedicated to specific pagan deities

I was looking for Facebook groups specifically dedicated to some pagan deities. Here's what I found (in April 2023):

🗝️Hekate At least 8 groups are dedicated to Her, some of them with over 10.000 members, one even with over 30.000. (I'd rather avoid such large groups.) This doesn't surprise me, She is a very popular goddess.

🐍 Loki Lots of fan groups for Marvel's Loki. Again, I am not surprised. 😅 I joined "The Lokean Collective" a while ago (which is about the Norse deity) and can recommend it, it's a very inclusive group. If you are interested, here is the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/480931101976248

actually I just had a Thought thinking about Lady Hekate. we all know that (especially black) Dogs are sacred to her but I like to think she holds a Tender Place for the dogs that are marginalized and actively harmed and demonized, like Pitbulls and Rottweilers

Pitbulls have been abused so so often and labeled a threat to so many people that they're SO often put down

I like to think the Goddess, who holds dogs as sacred to her, would hold a place next to her for them 🥺🖤

To any it may concern, I'm going to be making and selling some very special Hekatean Rosaries as soon as I've accumulated all the necessary materials.

I'm crafting a set of fine devotional beads in Hekate's name that will include materials like the wristbones of a Black Dog (harvested from a dead stray found in the woods,) an Antique Iron Key ritually buried and exhumed at a Crossroads between Dark Moon and Dark Moon, and a Solid Silver Strophalos rituallly smithed by an acolyte of Hekate in Thessally. So keep an eye out for it this July if you're interested!

To those followers of Hekate who are interested but have a slimmer budget—I will be offering a humbler Hekatean Rosary for a lower price soon as well, though it will be made with just as much care and magical attention—so stay tuned for that!

I am an expert in the monstrous-feminine (wow thats wild to say but 👑) and here are a FEW signs that the monstrous-feminine is calling to you.

As a lover of horror, IT Pennywise, Hellraiser and Scream are burned in my mind from watching when I was 6 😭 (adults where...?), as a practicing witch and worker with the dark divine. With Lilith on my asc. I am seen & treated like a walking trigger for folks. With my moon in 8th of sex, death, and transformation, my true self is deeply devoted to exploring the mysteries of the dark. Being gay, black, escaping homelessness, s*x worker, and no contact with my parents; I have lived and walked the path of embodying monstrosity in the world as we know it.

And embracing the dark and monstrous has brought me peace and power.

I'm not hiding behind masks anymore (except when I'm literally wearing my masks for c*vid!).

I'm not damning myself and trying to mold and squeeze into roles I was assigned but can never fulfill.

I'm not living with shame and fear and self-hatred anymore.

Working with the monstrous-feminine archetypes has been deeply healing for me, and fun af when you view film and TV as transmissions of myth, magic and makeup as a catalyst for ancestral work and soul healing.

As a witch I am devoted to Hekate, Queen of Witches, as well as three-form Goddess of earth (underworld), sky and sea. But Hekate's darker faces and epithets have been what Hekate has led me toward and I fully embrace and RECLAIM the dark as healing & powerful.
