Hello, I am new to this both website and Avengers fandom. I rather made this account only to find a fic which I am unable to. I hope you can help me out. I apologise for causing any inconvenience to you, pls do forgive me for my follies as I have no clue how this site works or how to approach any one. I hope you will be able to help me because even you are an Irondad and Spiderson fan. Well the fic is on Tony Stark and Peter Parker where Peter is kidnapped and he is kept in a hidden bunker and tortured. Entire Avengers rescue him but Natasha and Tony kill the kidnappers while Steve and others take Peter to their Quinjet. I clearly remember Tony telling Natasha that they should do such things more often after they have killed the kidnappers and bombed the hidden bunker. Unfortunately when Tony reaches their Quinjet he finds Peter had flatlined and Avengers trying their best to revive him. Peter has a dream where he finds his parents and May and Ben who say they love him and he goes back to Tony content that everyone is content with him. Once Peter comes back he tells Tony that he should remind him to tell the dream. When Peter wakes up Peter is scared that Tony might be falling in trouble for killing the kidnappers but he assures that nothing will happen to him. Peter tells about the dream he saw and Tony tells that Peter had actually died for some minutes. Story ends with Peter getting better and no more guilty for having loved Tony as his own relatives are also happy to see him with Tony. Oh I also remember Peter telling Tony that his father said - I can share (Peter with Tony). Erm I hope you can find the fic. I have been trying all my ways to find it but so far I am unsuccessful which makes me very sad. I am new to the fandom and I really enjoy reading all the stories. Thank you for your help.

thank you so so much!!! it's so cool that people are still interacting with fics i wrote ages ago that i barely even remember myself (although it was only like, 2 years, so that probably says more about my bad memory than anything else). I always see the comments even if I'm terrible at replying to things on older fics, and they're all much appreciated.

I used to love writing for the MCU fandom so much because of the kinds of people that commented, always so nice or funny or sweet. Super encouraging to really get me into writing back then. It's unfortunate that I got too busy with university to keep up the MCU writing but it's neat to still have a collection of fics from back then that people still discover and love now.

IRONDAD FANDOM MEET & GREET!

Hello everyone! This is my Meet and Greet for the IronDad Fandom Check In run by @superherotiger

First, I never fully introduced myself to the Fandom. I'm SheabeePrime. I started as a huge transformers nerd, but almost two years ago I also got my hand into the IronDad fandom and have not looked back. I love to write and absolutely adore the fanfic writing events the great members of this community put on. I am currently in vet school, so I don't have as much time to write as I want to, but I try to stay active, so if I'm not writing in an event I will often beta read. I'm thinking about doing a IronDad only side blog to keep Transformers and Marvels separate, so input on that would be amazing.

I got into IronDad in December of 2019. It went through a bad break up with my long term partner and just found the fluffy, romantic fanfics I usually read to be repulsing. I've always loved Spider-Man since I was a kid, but when I found that Tony Stark had also lodged himself a place in my heart, I started to look up fics of them teaming up and eventually in the father-son roles. This is probably because I felt the need to be nurtured myself but was in undergrad and far from my parents. And the Peter Whump subsect I often read probably was a way to let out the pain I was feeling from my break up. Either way I became hooked. I absolutely threw myself into IronDad. It was the only type of fanfic I would read for almost all of 2020, and for the first time since high school I really found myself enjoying reading and writing again. I was staying up long nights in the IronDad tag on Tumblr or 'Peter Parker & Tony Stark' tag on AO3. I started collecting Irondad keychains and pins and writing down all my fanfic ideas in my notebook. IronDad saved me in a way. It also re-inspiried my creative fun side, and it helped me get through the pandemic. The fandom has been so amazing and great too. So excited to see what else is in store for us, especially with No Way Home coming up.

As far as my favorite tropes, I love anything with Peter acting as Morgan's older brother. I also love anything whumpy. Oh and anything where Peter stands up to Captain America. But I don't like to limit myself to these tropes and am always open to new suggestions and reads. PLEASE DM me with fic recs and what else if you would like, even if it is shameless self-promotion.

Anyway, that's it about me. I'm excited for out future and am on the look out for any upcoming events. Stay real, y'all.

HELLO I WAS A MCU BLOG FOR A COUPLE YEARS I HAVE A WHOLE LOT OF THOUGHTS LET ME TELL YOU!!!

i was in the irondad spiderson side of the mcublr (is that what they call themselves? i wouldn't know, even though i was in that fandom for most of my time on this hellsite.)

okay for one, wtf is up with the writing? like so many plotlines and character arcs have been ruined. (i am a Loki fan,,, if it wasn't obvious by my cat's name)

two, the whole shipping wars and the canon ships in the movies have caused so much chaos it's insane.

i remember people had certain shippers on dni. like if you shipped stucky you couldn't follow stony blogs. and the list goes on. like hello????? y'all really out here upset with which middle aged man you shipped with captain america/or with iron man.

three, Iron Man. the way the fandom/the writers treated him (sometimes he would be a totally different person in some movies.) always confused me.

half the fandom hated him and would put anyone who even thought about the guy positively on their dni.

the other half either changed his whole character to be a Dad™ to Peter or a small part of the other half would have him act like a more canon version.

four, the whitewashing of the Maximoff twins.

five, from what i heard tfatws show SUCKED regarding Sam Wilson. also the fandom (or the small part i saw?) are weird about those two when it comes to shipping them.

six, the Loki show really disappointed a lot of fans to the point i don't know if i will watch it. i may just watch for the Loki Content™.

Hello! When are you going to post your next Irondad story?

Hi!

I gotta be honest with you: I don’t really know. I’m a slow writer and I’m bad at setting myself deadlines. Deadlines set by fandom events usually work better for me. :D

So I can’t promise anything, but I might be able to post something in October/November. I am working on a Firefly!AU and making good progress on the first “episode”, so that might come soon (though nobody asked for this 😂).

One Night

Peter sat there looking out at sight in front of him. As New York city shine ablaze with night lights, he can see people from his spot on rooftop of a 15-floor building with his enhance sight but he doesn't want to focus on any one or more so, don't want focus on anything. He leaned against the wall of the building, he tilts his head upward, he can see many stars shining brightly just as much city below him shines with lights. He closes his eyes and sighs heavily, today was by far normal day for him with only stopping few mugging and helping a young girl from bullying. He reached for his phone from his secret pocket in his suit designs by Mr. Stark before pausing and staring at phone’s wallpaper.

It was one of the pictures he had clicked when they both were working in lab, Mr. Stark being usually his grumpy self because Pepper was out of the country for SI business, and albeit all of this he had smiled for a second as though posing for pictures when Peter tell him to look at phone and had get back to his work after one picture, much to annoyance of teen at the time.

Peter shook his head thought to clear his head from memories and dailed a few numbers before putting the phone to his ear, in few seconds comes the voice of the person he was missing most at the moment,

“Hello there kiddo, finally you got time for old man huh!” Tony mock-offend as a way of greeting putting a little smile on Peter's face.

“Sorry, Mr. Stark I was busy with everything going on and i…,”

“You don't have to give me explanation spiderling, I am just teasing you. And although it will give you some reassurance I tell you what I don't think you will listen to me so I now above advise giving phase.” conclude billionaire in his snarky way but there was no bite in his words.

“I know and I am sorry for those things but hey I want to tell you that I finally gathered my courage and ask MJ for a date tomorrow although it is more like catching up on the science project with coffee than the real date but..,”

“But you did something finally!!” again tony cut off teenager’s rambling, “However I would have liked it if it was real date and earlier.”

“I know but you know that how I feel and how my words come out of my mouth without filter around her, she is ...she made me uncomfortable but in a good way...you understand what I am saying right Mr. Stark?” ask Peter when he was not cut in his mid-sentence.

“I understand completely what are you saying Pete,” comes tony’s voice after few second, “But it would be much better if you go and meet Pepper, you know she has more knowledge in this kind of things,” said engineer

“Yeah, I know I have not gone to meet her in few weeks and I receive daily messages from her that she wants to catch up but... It is...nevermind, I will go and meet her tomorrow I am sure happy would not be angry with my sudden appearance,” said Peter making a decision and thinking about his next day schedule.

“You know you have grown on happy he would not be angry at you rather he will appreciate you visiting as it will cut off his duty to watch after our little stark, what you think huh?” Tony asked in a playful tone bringing a full grin of the day on teen’s face.

“Yeah, she is so much cute, more than me and talk just like you and you know she was playing this tune on piano last time I visited it was..it is...she is just like you Mr. Stark,” a sob made its way through his throat as he talks about little morgan, “I miss you Mr.Stark, I miss you soo much” he cry openly in long time gazing at night sky like he can see his mentor's face in those stars. “I miss you, dad.” Peter can't help but voices the feelings that had been locked down in his heart for a long time. After a long time, Peter takes a deep breath, filling his lungs with night air before instructing his AI,

“Shut it down Karen”

“Mr. Stark voice Protocol is shut down successfully peter.” comes the monotone voice of AI but Peter can hear the affection in her voice.

“I will say it will be a good thing if you head toward the home now Peter.” Peter nodded his head at AI’s instruction before putting his mask on and standing up from his seating condition.

Peter star at the sky for few moments muttering soft “I love you Dad,” before shooting his web to next building and fading away in streets of busy new york city with a promise to meet pepper and little morgan tomorrow in his heart.

Hello Darlings!!

I am in desperate search of roleplays.

MCU

Mostly I do Marvel Cinematic Universe, I can play every character (Apart from X-Men) with ease (if I do say so myself🤪)

I’m up for any Au’s specifically Soulmate and High School Au’s as my favorite but always perfectly fine to try something new.

As for Ships there are very few I am even remotely hesitant about so send me a message if you’ve any questions or something in particular you want to try. Ive many starters some better than others, it depends on characters and ships.

Currently I am looking for an Irondad Roleplay and have a starter to match, (if my starter does not match your tastes let’s talk about it and we can figure out a new plan.)

Now then my tumblr account for roleplaying... Prompted-Stories is my Main Roleplay account while I should be doing it on my second which is: RoleplayandFanfic. Either of these accounts is perfect and I’ll reply to you as soon as I can. I am on Pacific Daylight time and have a remotely flexable schedule.

The Universe Takes, and It Gives

CH 1

Summary: The war with Thanos is over, but some sacrifices still need to be made. Will Steve and Tony ever get their happy ending?

Warnings: language? Look you should know by now that all of my fics have that. Angst, unhealthy coping habits, mentions of suicide, eventual fluff.

A/N: In this fic, Thanos happens earlier, Civil War didn’t happen, and Peter is a baby. I also made up the name of the orphanage because I didn’t want to do research. The irondad part of this will be in the next chapter okay thanks for coming to my ted talk.

In order to destroy the soul stone, someone had to sacrifice themselves.

Steve and Tony stood on the edge of the cliff on Vormir, with Red Skull and Strange waiting behind them.

“A sacrifice for a sacrifice.” Skull had told them.

They had been standing there in stunned silence for the past two minutes. Finally, Steve spoke up.

“It should be me.”

Tony’s head snapped up, his eyes meeting Steve’s.

“What?? No. It needs to be me-“

“The world needs Tony Stark,” Steve interrupted, “It needs its best defender. It doesn’t need Captain America anymore.”

“But I do, Rogers! You can’t just… You can’t just leave! I can’t lose you!”

His voice broke at the end, and by this time tears were streaming down his cheeks and he was choking back sobs.

“Tony,”

“What about everything we wanted? What about the future we talked about! I- I had a ring, dammit! I had a ring for you when this was all over with and I… I can’t do this! Please, you can’t do this,” Tony was full on sobbing now, no longer caring who saw him.

Steve was doing his best not to cry. He didn’t want Tony to see him cry, to see that he was scared. Or that he too, had a ring.

Steve opened one of the many zippers on his pant legs and pulled out a small black, silk bag with a red string that kept it tied shut.

He gently placed a hand on Tony’s cheek, the smaller man leaning into the touch, and kissed his forehead, then his lips. He placed the small contraption Tony had created to hold each infinity stone into his lover’s hands, along with the tony bag.

“Keep the world turning. Because it doesn’t stop without me.”

Tony’s eyes flew open, “Steve, no, please-!“

Tony reached out with his empty hand, but it was too late. Steve had let himself fall back off of the cliff. He watched with horror as the love of his life fell to his final death.

A world war, a fight with a psychopath with a tesseract, a plane crash, seventy years in ice, a fight against aliens, a fight against a HYDRA super soldier and the rest of the murderous group, only to die by his own sacrifice.

The next thing Tony knew, he was sitting in the water, a ways away from where he had previously been a just few seconds ago. In his hand was the purple infinity stone, shattered and no longer glowing.

Taking a few moments to gather what had just happened, he tossed the pieces into the water and opened the bag that was now soaked.

Tipping it upside down, a beautiful silver band tumbled out onto his calloused hand.

Tony’s breath caught in his throat.

Carefully turning the ring, he caught sight of inscription on the inside.

You have been in every way, all I could ever want. I love you.

Strange ended up having to come get him, opening the portal and the cloak carrying most of Tony’s weight as they walked back to Earth.

As soon as the pair came into sight, it was immediately obvious that Steve wasn’t coming back. Nobody spoke a word.

Bucky did, however, fall to his knees. Natasha and Sam went to help him.

Strange handed Tony off to Rhodey, who took him back to the compound to try and sleep, and told the others to meet up there later.

Of course, Tony didn’t sleep. He didn’t eat. He didn’t tinker. He stayed in bed and cried, sometimes showering, and only because Rhodey threatened to use sedatives and give him a sponge bath.

After two weeks of unhealthy habits, starving himself, little to no sleep, and hardly getting any sunlight, Tony’s body shut down.

He was sitting at the table in the dining area, attempting to stomach the noodle soup Rhodey made for him when his vision began to blur and his hearing began to ring. When he tried to say something, he fell to the floor.

The first time he came to he couldn’t open his eyes, and his hearing was muffled, like he was underwater.

“-blood sugar is way too low… gurney up here…”

“-carry him…”

“-heart attack?”

Then he was out again.

The second time he came to he was laying on something softer. But he still couldn’t manage to open his eyes, or even move, to attempt to figure out his situation.

And to make matters worse, this time his hearing wasn’t even clear enough to make out any words around him.

Just an annoying rapid beep.

And what seemed like shouting.

Then he was out again.

The third time he came to, he woke up on the shore of the most beautiful beach he had ever seen. The sand was pink and the water was crystal clear. The sun was high and glittering off the water. There were shells scattered about. But not the tiny, broken, malformed shells you usually find. No, these were fully shaped, brightly colored shells, along with sea glass and sea dollars.

He looked around, finding he was the only one there.

“Hello?” He called out.

“Hello.” Answered an angelic voice.

He turned back around towards the water to see a woman walking out of the water onto shore. She was glowing, literally. Her dress was tan and seemed to flow with gold. Her hair was loose down her back, and a tiara sat on her head perfectly. Water droplets glinted off her dark skin.

For the first time in a long time, Tony was rendered absolutely speechless.

The woman smiled at him, stopping a few feet away.

“I have been so excited for this day. To finally meet the great Anthony Edward Stark. The mortal who defied all odds.”

Tony cleared his throat, his brain finally kicking into gear.

“I- I’m sorry. Who are you?”

“I do not have a name. Nor am I a being. I simply am.”

“That… Actually is the furthest thing from an answer.”

The woman chuckled.

“I am everything. I am the universe. But for the sake of making things easier, you may call me Celeste.”

Tony raised an eyebrow, “You’re the universe… Like you control all things and are all things?”

Celeste shrugged, “In a sense. I am here to help you-”

Tony scoffed, taking a step back, “Help me? Help me?? I’ve been suffering my whole life; I lost my parents, was blown up, tortured, ripped open, backstabbed, poisoned, beaten, lost the love of my life, and now you want to help me??” By now Tony was pacing, his heart pounding in his ears.

Celeste sighed, “Please believe that none of that was my doing. There is good and bad in the universe. As you already know. I am in control over the good. My brother is in control over the bad. Since you were born, we both knew you were destined for greatness, but we both wanted your greatness to amount to something different. When you became a hero, he became angry.

But when you destroyed the infinity stones and defeat a monster who was out to destroy half of of our being, he gave in. I can finally give you what you want most.” She spoke with confidence and power. She outstretched her hand and a white light moved from her palm to Tony, manifesting itself into Steve’s Captain America helmet.

“Steve,” Tony whispered.

But it seemed too good to be true.

“There is just one thing I ask in return,”

“Anything,” Tony looked back up at her.

“There is a boy. He is just over a year old. He lost everyone in this war. He needs someone. You and Steven will adopt him. Raise him as your own. This boy is special, and will grow up to change the world.”

Tony deflated, “Are you kidding me? I can’t just, become a parent! I’m not built to be one! Have you seen me lately? My boyfriend commits suicide to save the rest of us and I’m nearly killing myself.”

The woman only nods, “In time, it will come to you. Just like fighting, it is all in your instincts. You are a smart man, Anthony. You have many people by your side. And you would have Steven as well.”

Tony pulls at his hair and squeezes his eyes shut.

Get Steve back, and adopt a baby?

Maybe it wouldn’t be too bad. They’d finally have the little family they’d always joked about.

“Fine. Fine. I’ll do it. Just, please, give me back-“

“Steve!” Tony sat straight up clutching at nothing.

“Woah, Tony, calm down.” Bruce gently pushed Tony back against the medical bed.

“But S-Steve he sh-should have-“

“Yeah, he’s in the next room. Cho’s checking him right now.” Tony relaxed and Bruce made himself busy with checking his vitals, asking him basic questions, and checking his reflexes. Finally, he brought up the elephant in the room, “He just… Appeared out of nowhere. I thought you said he was dead?”

Tony stared at the wall, then at the TV which was displaying the news on mute.

At that moment, the name Queens Heart of Children Orphanage came across the screen, making Tony’s heart squeeze in a way he didn’t quite expect.

“Yeah,” he replied, “He was.”
