i want fragment to have some level of accuracy to the western Genre but im not really concerned with him being accurate to how things actually were or even that accurate to the movies because.like. kindof the whole point i s that hes wrong. hes not Pretending he genuinely believes in what he says but its not factually true at all so a little bit of dissonance or conflicting info helps to sell it more than hurt it

one of the reasons i don't particularly want to use dg's semi-canon real name is it also kind of ties nicely into his story w fragment. both of them have a name and a 'normal' life they left in the past because of the hellwave. we don't know and we never will know if flynn and. whoever fragment was would have gotten along but because they met when they did and as who they are it worked.

#one of the things i find personally important when writing fragments story is to highlight that #his delusion isnt... particularly a bad thing. i don't view my psychosis as a bad thing and while #the delusions i get can be upsetting and/or incredibly embarrassing i've found myself to be #somewhat proud of my psychosis? less in a... i'm happy to have it way but in an... this is a part of me way. #and i enjoy who i am. so there's no reason to truly hate this part of me. #a bit of a sidebar there but in short i want this character to be actively delusional and not #at any point try to 'fix' him or show even pity towards the state he's in. it is who he is. #and part of that for me is having him remain like that. for the events of canon at least. #hmmm... hopefully that makes a level of sense. i promise it relates to the actual post somehow. #gush:{🐇}
