how did adventure time make the most depressing fucking plot i’ve ever seen?? I Remember You never fails to make me sob like a baby. and that christmas episode where finn and jake steal ice king’s tapes and in the end they find the one where it’s just simon. i watched I Remember You for the first time when i was too young to process emotions that strong so now it’s the nostalgia + simon+marceline father/daughter relationship and how that was just completely lost and she was just a kid! he loved her so much! how do i cope with this. what am i supposed to do with this. i want them so much to elaborate for like 100 episodes on just marceline and simon but also that would fuck me up so bad.
the line ‘that must be so confusing for a little girl’ shows so much compassion and empathy and then to see the stark contrast of that and ice king’s stupid face saying stupid shit makes me Break Down. it just hurts so much! it hurts and like how do u expect little me to cope with that? i DIDN’T i repressed it is what i fuckin did. jesus christ

Zexal Month 2021
since things went haywire in real life, I figured this would be the best way to participate in the event this year. I’ve been doing it since 2018, and it’s been such a pleasure to be a part of this nice fandom, we’re small but still alive! Without any more delay, let’s tackle the first week! @zexalmonth
Week 1: Welcome to Heartland City
Day 1: Who are you? Introduce yourself! When did you get into Zexal? What Fandom are you in at the moment?
you can call me shif, I prefer gender neutral pronouns. I like drawing and writing (especially adult content), video games, music, among other things. I’m extremely socially anxious and can also talk nonstop, go figures hahaha. I like when people talk to me and I promise I do not bite
finally found out when I got into Zexal and it was in 2015. I only ever watched the sub though. I read the manga for the first time last year and it was really fun
Yu-Gi-Oh! (mainly Zexal. Yes, it’s still my “current fandom”). And I’ve been reading Boku No Hero Academia and 19 Days. Early this year, I got into NBC’s Hannibal, and before that, Yashahime (Inuyasha’s spinoff). It’s difficult for me to get into new things, I usually rotate between the few fandoms I’ve been into. I’m mostly a gaming person actually hahaha probably doing something Zelda related when not busy
(did introductions last year and the year before, but there’s always something to add and changes to talk about I guess?)
Day 2: Who would you be in Zexal? Champion? Alien? Tomato? Alternatively, what part of Heartland City’s society do you find interesting?
would be a part of Astral World, but the “bad guys”. Think of the Barians, but before they got kicked out. I do not find Heartland City or the people there particularly interesting because I’m not a huge fan of futuristic/sci-fi stuff. I guess I enjoy how all kinds of people chose that place as their home, from scientists (the Tenjo family, the Arclight family), to adventurers (the Tsukumo family), and I like how that city seems to be the core of interdimensional occurrences
Day 3: What’s your favourite moment or favourite episode in the series?
episode 98 (the Dark Zexal one) will always have its place in my heart, but since I talked about it last year, guess I could talk about other of episodes I enjoy
I love all episodes in which Number 96 appears, all 12 of them T^T... it is such a shame he did not have more screen time: 20, 25 (recap), 37, 38, 89, 101, 102, 110, 111, 112 (dead), 131 (doll), 132 (doll)
I also have a soft spot for Yuma/III focused episodes such as their meeting (ep 46), their dramatic duel (eps 47-49), and when Yuma is depressed after losing Astral and III helps him (eps 112-113)
that incredible Eliphas X Yuma duel, which is one of the best and longest in the series (eps 118-121), followed by Yuma’s reunion with Astral and one of the cutest scenes in the show (eps 122-123)
really liked the episodes with Ryoga/Nasch focus in the last season, in special, his duels with IV (eps 124-126) and Yuma (eps 141-143)
Day 4: Who’s your favourite character? Which Zexal Characters would you like to meet?
oh, tough one! Guess not many things have changed from when I got into Zexal ー In 2019 and 2020, Astral was the one for me ー but maybe some things did change...!
this year I really delved deep into my love for Number 96 and I guess they’re tied in 1st place now hahahaha, I would say I like Number 96 slightly more maybe?!? And, very surprisingly, Yuma grew so much in me! Probably for all wrong reasons hahahaha
Day 5: Zexal has so many cool locations and backdrops. Where would you want to go in Zexal?
Astral World. It’s my favorite location in the show and it’s a shame they didn’t explore it as much since it only appeared so late in the last season

Welcome back you lovely lovey person!!! So glad to have you back, I cried when you left ( I am a mess ik) and so happy to see you back on my dash. So happy to see you doing what you love to do and not caring if people agree or not (as you should). Sending you love 💖✨ Also I read somewhere reading fics about a pairing you don't identify as (being bi and reading mxm, or trans fics) is similar to fetishizing. What do you think about it?? What really falls under fetishizing i am really confused😕
fetishizing is essentially making something into a kink/fetish. reading, say, a fic or any content with a trans character is not inherently fetishizing. but if you only viewed trans individuals as a sexy concept and didn’t actually care about real trans lives then that would be fetishizing in my eyes.
i originally started reading mxm because i felt that the stories that involved ships often had a much higher quality than self-inserts, and i still maintain that today. when you already have characters established, you can much quicker get to the meat of the story, and in addition, self-inserts can often fall into the indulgent category (not inherently bad btw) where the focus is on picturing yourself doing all these cool/sexy things w bts. that is something that i don’t particularly care for, i much rather enjoy seeing the bts members as a muse for beautiful stories, and i was finding that at a much higher rate than on tumblr/self-insert fics.  i think that is the case for a lot of readers, and to call it fetishizing is a pretty wild take when the focus is on the story, not using gay sex as a kink if you get me?
there are plenty of other reasons people read mxm rather than self-insert. for me, mxm is a neutral safe space. tw assault, but one reason i prefer it over female self inserts is that i’ve experienced sexual assault by a female, and now reading graphic content involving women is too much for me to handle. when i’m reading a wonderful story, or even just smut that’s dicks only, it doesn’t make me uncomfy in the same way. i’ve heard that other people engage w content separate to their identity in a similar way, because it’s something neutral and safe. i also wouldn’t view this as fetishization personally.
what i would view as fetishizing is that there are a fair few people, often (though not always) cishet females of a younger demographic, that produce and consume content with gay sex exclusively featuring the members of whatever they’re interested in, be that bts or teen wolf or hannibal, or idk anime i guess? but then are openly negative towards news of queerness in that community, or are openly intolerant of, say, gay women although they drool over gay men.
i personally think the whole ‘gay best friend’ trope also falls close to that line tbh
i would say the important thing is that if you engage with a certain gender or sexuality in the content you consume or create, make sure you treat people with that gender or sexuality in real life with the human dignity they deserve, and understand that people are more than their genitals and who they wanna have sex with.
i imagine you probably can kinda vibe this line out yourself when engaging with content, bc for most people respect is kinda a given, but i know it can be confusing sometimes to navigate. i hope this helps! and again, this is my take, and other opinions very well may also be valid. additionally, i’m speaking as a cis lesbian, and thus don’t have a full range of experiences of all the communities i’ve mentioned.
(finally ahh i’m so sorry you cried : ( i’m happy to be back every now and again, it’s been really nice)

1. Favorite childhood book? >> (Three hundred surveys posted to this blog, wow. --I mean, over the course of nearly a decade I’ve probably filled out at least ten thousand, but.) I think that distinction would have to go to The Phantom Tollbooth. It’s one of the only books I remember owning, probably because I’d paged through it so many times. I also modified all the illustrations with pen so that Milo looked like a woman. 2. What are you reading right now? >> Condensed Chaos by Phil Hine -- more like limping through it, because I stopped setting aside time specifically for reading so I just end up grabbing a half a chapter here and there. I’ll have to do something about that. I’d started The Poisonwood Bible a while ago, too, but I keep forgetting to continue it. 3. What books do you have on request at the library? >> I rarely borrow books from the library unless they’re e-books because of my tendency to have to repeatedly renew and eventually take it back before I’m finished because I ran out of renews. 4. Bad book habit? >> Not reading. 5. What do you currently have checked out at the library? >> I don’t, for the reasons stated above. But for all the shit I talk about Grand Rapids, it has a lovely main branch, so I’ll probably end up stopping in again soon, maybe spending a few hours there for a change of scenery.
6. Do you have an e-reader? >> I have a phone, which functions as my e-reader. I also have a Kindle, but between its wack amount of storage space and its quick-draining battery, it’s been relegated to the position of glorified mousepad at this point. (It’s too bad, because I like the screen size.) 7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once? >> Two or three at once. I think it’s interesting to see if/how they subconsciously weave themselves together in my imagination, even if -- especially if -- they’re about completely unrelated things. 8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog? >> It’s the internet in general that interferes with my reading habits, not just tumblr, but tumblr obviously plays a part. 9. Least favorite book you read this year (so far?) >> I quit on Cormac McCarthy’s The Road like 10 pages in, and I don’t usually do that but for some reason I got bored really quickly and couldn’t see the point in pushing through. That’s not a total vote in its disfavour because I didn’t actually form a full opinion. Sometimes I just pick up a book at the wrong time and have to wait until I reach the point in my life when I’ll need it. I’ll probably try again in a couple of years. 10. Favorite book you’ve read this year? >> I really enjoyed Reincarnation Blues, I thought it was an amazing story. I also got a lot out of M. K. Asante Jr’s It’s Bigger Than Hip Hop. When the Stars Are Right by Scott R Jones was fascinating as hell, and then of course there was my long-overdue (or maybe right-on-time, considering...) American Gods reread... 11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone? >> Occasionally. The thing is, there are so many books in my comfort zone that I want to read... 12. What is your reading comfort zone? >> I don’t know if it’s quantifiable. I like a lot of different kinds of books. I usually know within 10-15 pages of a book if I’m going to like it or not -- I try not to judge books by their covers, but I definitely judge them by their first chapter. 13. Can you read on the bus? >> Sometimes, but I generally prefer to listen to music and look out the window.
14. Favorite place to read? >> In bed. 15. What is your policy on book lending? >> I’ll give books away. Just take it, read it. Pay it forward. I don’t like to hoard books. 16. Do you ever dog-ear books? >> Hell yes, I do. They’re not a sacred object to me; their contents may well be sacred, but their contents already exist in me because I ate them.  17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books? >> Nah. 18. Not even with text books? >> I don’t use textbooks. 19. What is your favorite language to read in? >> I can only read in English. 20. What makes you love a book? >> It’s a very visceral and subconscious thing, and it’s not dependent on genre or the politics of the author or any of that as much as it’s dependent on who I am at that moment in time, what story I need to hear, and how lovingly the author told it. That sounds like it only applies to fiction books, but it really doesn’t.  21. What will inspire you to recommend a book? >> Some level of understanding of the person I’m recommending it to. 22. Favorite genre? >> I don’t know, honestly. 23. Genre you rarely read (but wish you did?) >> I wish I read more science fiction. The thing is, most of the scifi stories I love I kind of stumbled into accidentally. Whenever I go looking for scifi specifically, I run into a lot of duds (not that they’re badly written or anything, just that they’re bad for me). I’m going to try Philip K Dick soon and I hope that works out okay. 24. Favorite biography? >> I don’t have one. 25. Have you ever read a self-help book? >> Sure, but I don’t make a habit of it.
26. Favorite cookbook? >> I don’t have one. Well, okay, Feeding Hannibal is pretty cool, ngl, but mostly for the information rather than the actual recipes. We can’t afford to (or don’t have the room/appliances to) make most of that stuff. 27. Most inspirational book you’ve read this year (fiction or non-fiction)? >> Definitely American Gods, but that’s a hard-to-explain thing, lol. The Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are is a good runner-up, because as far as inspiration is concerned, Alan Watts probably had more than his fair share of it. (Do comic books count, because if so I’d like to also add in Promethea.) 28. Favorite reading snack? >> Alcohol. (But also anything I can eat with one hand, or doesn’t require a lot of, like, attention.) 29. Name a case in which hype ruined your reading experience. >> I don’t think that’s ever happened. 30. How often do you agree with critics about a book? >> I don’t read critic reviews often enough to know what the ratio of agreement to disagreement would even be like. 31. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews? >> A negative review is just as valuable as a positive review. I’d prefer people not be nasty in their negative reviews, but like... I also don’t have to read their review if I don’t like it. It’s not that big of a deal to me. 32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you chose? >> Russian, probably. I imagine untranslated Russian lit would be amazing to read. 33. Most intimidating book you’ve ever read? >> And actually finished? Ha! Let’s see... as far as length, I’d probably pick whatever the longest Stephen King book that I’ve read is. (He meanders, man. He fucking meanders. It’s great, but dear god.) As far as content, I’m probably gonna go with Atlas Shrugged. For, I mean, obvious reasons, really. 34. Most intimidating book you’re too nervous to begin? >> That doesn’t really happen to me. If I want to read something, I’ll start reading it. If it proves prohibitive to my limited ability to understand shit, then I’ll put it down and move on. 35. Favorite poet? >> I don’t have one. 36. How many books do you usually have checked out of the library at any given time? >> Zero. When I do check out from the library, I stick to three books max. 37. How often have you returned book to the library unread? >> Quite often. Usually because I ran out of time. 38. Favorite fictional character? >> YEAH, OKAY. 39. Favorite fictional villain? >> Actually that is almost impossible for me to determine because I don’t even put the “villain” flag on characters unless it’s super fucking obvious (like in a comic book) that they’re supposed to be the Token Bad Guy. I just don’t even think in those terms. -- Now that I say that, though, I remembered that Stephen King characters are written very polarised despite my personal interpretations of them, so I suppose my favourite villain is Walter O’Dim. 40. Books I’m most likely to bring on vacation? >> I don’t know, I don’t usually have time to read on vacation. Unless it’s on the plane or something, in which case I just bring whatever I happen to be reading at the time. It’s usually on my phone, anyway. 41. The longest I’ve gone without reading. >> I mean, I don’t go a day without reading something, even if it’s just articles I saw on my facebook feed. 42. Name a book that you could/would not finish. >> Fifty Shades of Grey. (I did try. I wrote detailed posts about my thoughts during my attempt to read it. They’re still on my old blog.) 43. What distracts you easily when you’re reading? >> Everything. It’s just hard for me to turn the “noise” (literal and figurative noise) of the world off in general, which is why I like it quiet when I’m trying to focus. 44. Favorite film adaptation of a novel? >> Well, LOTR. I was going to say Predestination but All You Zombies isn’t a novel. Uhh.... :/ 45. Most disappointing film adaptation? >> Good god, so many. 46. The most money I’ve ever spent in the bookstore at one time? >> Around $100, I guess. I don’t have much money in general so I try to just... avoid bookstores. 47. How often do you skim a book before reading it? >> I don’t. The first-chapter test usually works just fine. 48. What would cause you to stop reading a book half-way through? >> Boredom. 49. Do you like to keep your books organized? >> Well, we don’t own enough for a complex system to be required. 50. Do you prefer to keep books or give them away once you’ve read them? >> I really prefer to give them away. It’s just... I’m not a hoarder (I don’t even mean that in the negative sense, I just mean I don’t like hanging onto stuff I’m not actively using). I spent just about all of my adult life up until 2 years ago homeless or some version of transient and having to be ruthlessly exacting about how many belongings I had at any given time really changed the way my brain works regarding material items. I love being able to own things now, but it’s... hard to enjoy having too many objects. I get tetchy. It feels inorganic. Maybe that’ll change in the future (these things often do), but for now owning more than 20 or so books feels like an overindulgence. 51. Are there any books you’ve been avoiding? >> I don’t think so. 52. Name a book that made you angry. >> I can’t think of one right now. 53. A book you didn’t expect to like but did? >> The Fountainhead. Any Rand book, actually, because Vlad couldn’t stand her and we had such similar tastes in media that I figured I wouldn’t either. But the immense amount of annoying peer pressure from Sigma eventually got me to pick it up just to get them off my back, and..... well, the rest is hilarious “I’m in love with a crazy Russian woman who makes me want to yell at her constantly” history. 54. A book that you expected to like but didn’t? >> I don’t know. That doesn’t happen very often. 55. Favorite guilt-free, pleasure reading? >> All of it? I don’t feel guilty about anything I read.

Personality: Andrew is mischievous to a fault. His day can never be complete without him either messing with someone or without him pulling minor pranks, which is why anyone who is smart enough to see through his bullshit will keep their distance from him. However, when he needs to be, he does show compassion towards the people he cares about. In battle, Andy can be very clever with his out-of-the-box thinking, his unique abilities, and his weapons. This often leads to him being conceited and saying that he’s the self-proclaimed “Best Urban Ninja in Townsville”.  He also likes to challenge himself by fighting multitudes of criminals because it gives him an opportunity to be sharpen his fighting skills. He also can be very confident in himself when flirting with the boys and the girls his age, mostly the girls. Even though each time it fails miserably, he still believes that he’ll score someday. If he doesn’t bother anyone or do training, some people can find reading manga or playing the video game “Grave Puncher” on his handheld counsel. He shares his father’s idea of yelling out his attacks i.e “Ninja Punch”, “Ninja Smokescreen”, or “Ninja Slash”, though he keeps it at a minimum. He sometimes gets greedy for money just like his mom.

Backstory:
Randy Cunningham was one of the best Ninja in Norrisville. After defeating the Sorcerer, things seemed a lot easier for him from that point on. That was until another ninja came to the city, one that was different from Randy, one that was stronger than him, one that only liked to cause trouble. This ninja was The Illusive Mystery, or Misty for short. At first, Randy didn’t know what to think of her: she was skilled, but she was reckless. She was liked him, but she was enjoyed teasing him. She liked to help, but she only did it for attention. When Randy reached his third year in high school, he and Misty started to hang out (even though Misty was hired by Viceroy and Hannibal McFist to take out the Ninja). As he passed the Final Lesson of the NinjaNomicon, Randy was one of the best Ninja of all time; he and Misty started to date as Randy went to college for the the major of Math Education.
After he graduated, Randy and Misty decided to get married then moved to Townsville, where he got a job at being a Math Teacher. As time passed, Misty gave birth to their child, Andrew, but unfortunately, she decided that she wasn’t interested in being a stay-at-home parent and decided to get a divorce. Needless to say, Randy was upset that she decided to leave but he didn’t have much of a choice. They agreed that Randy would take care of their son, while Misty would visit when she could. The next few days, she left without ever saying where she was going or when she was coming back until she stopped coming home all together .From that point on, Randy did everything he could to take care of his son from nurturing him and educating him. As Andy grew up, his dad would tell him about the stories of him being The Ninja of Norrisville, which would always spark Andy’s interest in Ninjutsu. But, sometimes, Andy would ask his dad when would his mom come back to his dad would respond: “I really don’t know”.
As he reached 10, Andy then learned other forms of martial arts from his father (since his dad was once the Ninja of Norrisville) for the reason that he wanted to be a ninja like his father. He also started to develop his mom’s abilities: Mist/Shadow Mimicry, Healing, Telepathy, Teleportation, and Enhanced Agility. He decided that now was a good time to teach him how use his powers. He called Misty and asked her to come and help Andy control his powers, which she rejected multiple times, until she reluctantly agreed. She taught him how to control and combine them properly. While she taught him, Andy would ask her questions: “Where did you go?”, “Why did you leave?”, “Will I see you again?”, “Will I see you on my birthday?”, “Can you give me you phone # so I can call?”. Most of the questions she dodged by telling him focus on training and on his powers but she answered one of them: “I think I can come to your birthday”, she said. As he got control over his powers, Andy’s mom left him and his dad again days later. She would show for Andrew’s 13th birthday and his Shinobi Tribunal, the trial in which all ninjas must go through 3 obstacles (The Struggle of the Body, The Trickery of the Mind, and The Limitation of the Spirit) to find their status in the ninja world. He then started to do vigilantism long at 16 before he heard of the Vanguard League, where he would tryout but realized that the moment he would join, he would have to deal with rules and regulations. So he decided to opt out because he wanted fight by his own accord, by his own rules. Eventually, he decided to start vigilantism on his until he decided to tell Ethan and Tamara about it and all three started to work together infrequently.

Relatives:
Randy Cunningham (Father)
Misty (Mother)
Howard Weinerman (Godfather)
________________________________________________________________
Relationships:
-Randy Cunningham: Andy loves his dad without a doubt. He thinks he’s one of the coolest parents because he understands what can make him feel better and what can him smile. Plus, he appreciates being able to get help from his with Math assignments.
-Misty: Even though Andrew doesn’t see his mom often, he appreciates being able to learn anything from her: techniques, his powers, his parents’ past, anything. But this doesn’t make him feel less upset about his not coming by infrequently and how he wishes to be with her.
-Ethan:He and Andrew have been friends since they were young. They met each other in grade school days after Ethan’s “incident”. At first they just talked about general stuff and eventually their friendship started to grow as they kept being around each other while cracking jokes and being cool, at least in their perspective. When they grew up and know about their powers, they both decided to do some vigilante work long before either of them decided to join the Vanguard League. When they work together, they manage to take down opponents effectively and, as Andy puts it, “stylishly”.
-Tamara: Andrew likes to be around Tamara. He calls her his “Ride or Die” when it comes to being in battle and both are shown to have a lot of fun when competing whether it be fighting crime, catching criminals, or playing video games. At times, they would argue with each other (for Andrew, he knows how to annoy her; for Tamara, she can’t afford to back away from him). Despite all of this, they still take care of one another.
-Damian: Andrew likes Damian sage personality. If he has the and when he desires to, he would take an hour long meditation with Damian or just drink some tea. All in all, Damian is a guy who Andy would enjoy having Zen time with. But, occasionally, he’ll flirt with Damian, though he’ll just ignore him.
-Ambrosine: Andy’s mission is to try Ambrosine laugh at his jokes. Every time he’s around her, when he gives a witty comment or a pun, she doesn’t laugh or even crack the smallest of smiles. Aside from that, he enjoys sparring with because her battlefield experience helps him with challenging his intuitive thinking.
-Persephone: When Andrew laid eyes on this girl, he knew what he wanted. He wants to get her to go out with her. So he tries to know her a little bit more than usually. He does stuff by helping her with Math, answers questions that she asks about him, be respectful towards her wishes, gives her the same advice he gets from Ethan, allows her to be her true self, and shows her his awesome keytar skills. He does this because friendship is the step in starting a relationship. He knows it’ll take long but he’s patient enough to wait. Aside from that, Andy does appreciate her jovial nature. It’s a real nice touch.
-Raleigh: Andrew doesn’t like Raleigh, not one bit. Every time he tries to be around Persephone, Raleigh ruins his chances for him to boost his relationship with her by just being the third wheel. This annoys him alot but he tries his absolute best not to act out and ruin his hard work. If they got beef with each other, they would spar till their hearts are content. So now, it’s become a competition for who could win Persi’s heart first.
-Levi: Andrew doesn’t seemed to mind him at all. He and Levi are very cool. Most times you would see them sparring and actually having a good time or see them talking like there’s no tomorrow.
-Luthor: Andy seems to enjoy sword fighting against the ghost knight. If anything he enjoys the challenge he gets from him with his ghostly abilities.

Quotes:
-To Ethan: “Eh. It’s fine with me. I guess I can take out the guy on the right. I mean aside from being twice our size, they don’t seem to hold any significance aside from strength. *Whispers* But, if I was a betting boy, I think we should handle the girl first then take of the terrible twos later.”
-To Tamara: “Hey! I can take out the majority of these shitty shoobs with nothing but my slick ninja moves. But since you think boxing is better than ninjitsu, which it isn’t, I’ll make a bet with you: whoever can take out at least 80 of these without any assistance, their fighting style is better along with at least...uh...oh and the loser has to pay for the winners food at their favorite restaurant. I know you won’t back down, so just say yes.”
-To Ambrosine: “Guess they monsters didn't like being chopped down to size. Heh, heh, heh get it Amber? Huh? Huh?
-To Damian: “I take it your more interested in Green Tea over Jasmine right? I’m more of a Lemon Ginger guy myself.”
-To Persephone: “Well, well, well. Did I just die and went to Heaven? ‘Cause I think I see a beautiful angel standing right in front of me. Man, your radiance is boundless.”
-To Raleigh: “Listen and listen well, you tobacco-inhaling shitface: I’m trying to develop a relationship with that lovely angel you keep gawking at and taking away from me. You sure as hell ain’t going to stop me. Unless you want me to kick your ass again.”
-To Levi: “You know what I can’t tell which is better: banjos and keytars blending well or the fact that you make a very fun sparring partner. Because you seriously have me stumped.”
-To Luthor: “Hmm. Ghost Knight vs. Alien Ninja. A broadsword vs. a tanto. Young Blood vs. Vanguard. Call me crazy but I really think you and I were destined to fight. I mean, unless, of course, you don’t believe in destiny, fate, karma or anything in between.”

Short Story:
Knight vs. Ninja
Andy leapt across building to building. He would never expected ghost hunting would be his first mission; he honestly thought he was getting something simple like reporting suspicious supernatural activity. Well, Damian did say there was any supernatural activity, but in Andy’s perspective, this was ghost hunting. He stopped as reached the third building, his feet skidded to a halt as he checked the area, coming across nothing so far. Mmm. So far nothing, Andy thought. For the to time he’s been in Townsville, he was definitely aware of the supernatural activity due to his mom’s ninjutsu training. Was it a quiet night? It shouldn’t be since detected something around this area. No. His hearing was never off point, so either the target moved or it’s playing hide and seek with him.
Getting bored for finding nothing, Andy was about to leave until he heard a slight shift in movement. “You can come out now, I already heard you.”, Andy stated, with his hand reaching his blade. “I’ve never seen you before. You must be part of the Vanguard League.”, said the figure, sounding bored as it appeared visible and floating in mid-air. Andy knew that this being was a ghost due to him floating and levitating, but his appearance gave it away the most: his body was pale, the hair was purple and moving as if it was alive, his eyes were completely red, and he had a red sword in his right hand, specifically a broadsword. “Hmmm. Judging from your get up, I’m betting you’re part of the Young Blood Allegiance.”, Andy spoke with assurance. He quirked an eyebrow underneath his mask as he looked at his feet, with arms crossed in thought. “Or I think they said it was the Young Blood Alliance? Meh, whatever. Is this part where you persuade into coming to see your boss or is this the part where we fight. Because, I’m going to say no into joining your posse no matter what they try to appeal me with but I’m going to say yes on the fighting.” Andy was a guy who stood for what he believed and he wasn’t going to switch sides, not when he and Ethan made to fight for to help, no matter what society thought. Unfortunately, for the ghost knight, he didn’t seem to enjoy having no as in an answer. “If you’re not going to come with me quietly and peacefully, I’m going to take you by force.”, the ghost said, pointing his sword at him.“Hmm. I guess this is where the fighting starts now.”, Andy said, grinning underneath the mask as he unsheathed his katana.
He charged forward and leapt towards the knight, and gave “Ninja Slash!” at him, only for the knight to turn invisible and intangible the moment Andy got close enough to deliver a swipe from his blade. He somersaulted away and skidded to a stop. So he was going down that route, huh? Andy wasn’t deterred. The knight became visible/tangible and turned around towards him, still levitating, giving him a look of boredom. “You do know telling out your attacks leaves you vulnerable, right?”, he asked, giving a look between condescension and confusion. Andy just crouched down with his blade behind back. “Eh. Force of habit.”, he said as he ran again and leapt again. Only this time, he threw three explosive shurikens near the ghost, giving him a chance to spin kick him in the chin. He didn’t plan to stop there, he then  planned on delivering a X slash. It didn’t happen, as the knight countered with his sword. Andy, then, delivered a dropkick to his face, only for the knight to turn invisible again. Andy decided to fall back to the ground. He looked around but couldn’t find him. His ears tried to pick any movement but couldn’t find him. He came to the conclusion that he flew off. To be continued, Andy thought as leapt off trying to find other ghost activity.
