So I'm using Sugar and Spice from Batman Forever as Two-Face's designated henchgirls in Shiversverse, except with Drag Queen Sugar and Spice being heavily based on Rhea Ripley/Chyna. My Harvey absolutely had an awakening like this when he hired Sugar; Two-Face's existential gender/sexuality crisis hit him like a truck.

Arleen Sorkin

An actress who dressed up like a jester on “Days of Our Lives” and whose mannerisms and personality inspired Harley Quinn. The character who was just supposed to be a one off henchgirl was breathed into life by Arleen becoming one the most beloved characters of our lifetime.

Some of us watched Harley Quinn debut on our clunky CRT tvs and it was so fun to watch her develop and grow bigger and bigger over these past 30 years.

And yet no matter how many characterizations Harley Quinn has, I’m sure for most of us we always think back to the one and only Arleen Sorkin.

R.I.P Arleen.

What's relationship between your Harley and Joker? For now it seems they're pretty alright.

Yay I’m glad someone asked!

Punch!verse Harley and joker are a couple. Their dynamic is more mutual than one sided. If you ever played Lego DC super villains I heavily borrowed from that depiction. I think that Harley sees him as her escape from monotony. Almost like he helped her realize she had more potential in life than a desk job. In Harley, joker sees a possibility for a chance at something slightly normal. She grounds him.

They really do love each other and I’m aware that in their conception and in past depictions their dynamic has been unhealthy. However, this is my adaptation of the characters. I’m not a fan of most modern Harley depictions either. I like her classic vibe more but she still deserves to be able to stand independent from Joker. I like them more as partners in crime than boss and henchgirl.

That being said, I do love Harlivy and Batjokes but I don’t feel as if they fit in my universe. I might still draw these pairings one day though cause they are cute

Watching this vid and the idea of the relationship between Query, Echo and Riddler being used as an opposition between Harley and Joker is something I had never thought of but it's very interresting.

Them being platonic soulmates that have no romance or sexual relation whatsoever but still have a good chemistry, common goals and a surprinsignly equal partneship while still cleary having the rogue-henchgirl dinamic in contrast with Harley and Joker that are romantically involved but are deeply abusive and unequal to the point that even when fans stopped seing Harley as a henchgirl she still was only that to Joker until she left him. Is an interresting concept that could have created a whole discussion about the representation of henchwoman on comics.

Instead they decided that Eddie should be an incel.

P.S: This isn't the only direction or even take of the video, it's mostly following all Query and Echo appearances and their creation and Sasha (thd youtuber) sugests some directions they could've taken. It's a really great video overall.
