As someone who went to Germany and spent like 70% of the time in churches, Von karma sibling growing up Christian head canons is so fucking personal to me

A thought that always makes me smile is the idea of Yasha multiclassing into bard post canon.

So much of her growth during the campaign is facilitated through her embracing her softer side and learning that she deserves to have soft and nice and happy things. She doesn't need to punish herself. She exists for more than violence. She can be both the Champion of the Stormlord, barbarian warrior from the wastes, and someone who plays music and collects flowers and gives scritches to animals.

Her playing the harp, even giving actual performances, was such a huge step for her. I just love the idea of her continuing to cultivate that throughout her life, of doing and learning something purely because she wants to, and eventually being able to use even that to help protect those she loves through magic.

#i love about yasha that every aspect of her is a contrast to herself #she has a goth warrior aesthetic - but she loves flowers and pretty things #she plays beautiful music - on a harp made out of bone #she loves animals - including rats and giant spiders #and if she became a bard she could play beautiful music - and use it to kill you #everything about her is simultaneously soft and hard and i love it #question is how it would work with her low charisma #since i think performance checks are charisma based?#maybe they could homebrew a special subclass that isn't #i vaguely remember yasha (or was it grog?) getting to do intimidation checks based on strength over charisma #maybe they could do something like that #yasha nydoorin #critical role #cr2 #post canon #nella talks cr
