Danger [Captain Howzer x Twi'lek Reader]

A/N: yes I have neglected my husbands Rex and Wolffe for this man and I am not sorry. I swear if he dies in the next episode I will wreak havoc upon y'all, sorry not sorry. Summary: Captain Howzer finds you and Hera spying on the Empire.

Word Count:

"Hera." Captain Howzer sighs deeply before his eyes fall onto the woman stood besides the young girl. "Y/N. I should have known this was your idea."

"It wasn't her idea!" Hera quickly jumped in, defending you from the wrath of the Captain. Spying on the Empire was not something you wanted to be caught doing. And most definitely not with a Hera, whom you treated as the younger sister you never had.

"It's fine Hera." Your spoke, your accent heavy as you sent a small wink her way before turning to face the Captain. My, was he a sight to behold, sure you had your fun with other men and women. But Captain Howzer was a looker. Those piercing eyes, and that little smirk on his face could have fooled you if you didn't know him so well.

The clone Captain was a big softy under his armour, although he would never admit it, he had a soft spot for Hera. And for you so it would seem.

"Sergeant, could you escort Hera back to the Syndulla mansion? Inform Cham that I will be have a serious talk about Hera's escapades." Howzer spoke, eyeing Hera's shocked face, before she looked at you.

"What are you doing with her?" The sergeant asked.

Howzer sent a small glance your way, looking at Hera before answering the sergeant. "I'll deal with her. You're dismissed."

"Yes sir."

After the clones had taken off with Hera, Howzer had made his way towards you, grabbing your arm rather roughly. "Captain!"

Ignoring your plea for help, he dragged you into a cave, hidden away from any lingering creatures or people. "You need to stop this."

"My, my Captain. Who'd thought? You? Worried for my safety?" You winked, running a hand up his wrist. "You're the sol-"

"Stop. This is serious." Howzer stopped your movements, grabbing both your wrists as he held them softly. "Please, Y/N, you need to be careful. If I hadn't found you then I don't know what could have happened."

Sighing sadly, you gave him a small smile. "I know Howzer. I-i just, we feel so helpless. I hate being kept here, like a prisoner in my own planet. Ryloth was never like this, it shouldn't be, we should be allowed to be free, to have the freedom and independence that we deserve."

"I won't stop Howzer. I can't stop. All I've ever known since I was a little girl is war. The time for this ends now, Hera, all the little girls and boys deserve peace, a chance at a better life. Not to fight for a country that may not even ever belong to them."

Your words had hit deep in Howzer, the fact that he was a clone, bred to fight in this war. For the Republic. But now that both the Republic and Separatists were gone, what were the clones fighting for?

Definitely not the Empire. But the question that lay in Howzer's mind was, what was he fighting for?

For himself? Or for you?

"I know you won't stop and I can't force you to." Howzer sighed, bringing his hands up to cup your cheeks in grip. "But I can't stand by and let you put yourself in danger, not when I can do something about it."

"Howzer, that's no- you do the exact same thing and you don't think I worry about you everyday?"

"I know you do. That's why I'm going to help you." Howzer placed his forehead on yours. "I can't stand by and watch innocent citizens forced to live like this in their own planet. I won't let them."

Smiling largely, you pulled back only to press your lips to his as he responded eagerly. Lips merged with another as the two of your pressed your emotions of love through the kiss before needing to pull back to take a breath.

"Thank you my love." Slipping a kiss on his cheek, making the captain blush. "I promise, you will get your freedom too. Whether that be besides me or elsewhere, I promise."

"I'll always be beside you mesh'la." Howzer replied, placing his hands behind your head as he tugged lightly on your lekku, making you moan in response.

"Wait- we can't. Not here." You giggled. "Cham will wonder where we are. Also, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to be punishing me..."

Winking at the Captain who let out a small growl, squeezing your bottom. "Oh you'll get your punishment alright, just you wait till after I'm done with Cham."

"Sir yes sir."
