 The card of Amber encourages us to seriously ask what we are bringing with us during this time of change. It is a time where we must listen to both our heads and hearts to understand what the soul wants us to be. The Wheel of Fortune tells us the period where fire turns to water is a time for a new chapter to begin. The Eight of Fire advises that we adapt to unexpected changes and to take quick action when inspired.

Moss agate aids with emotional balance and tranquility as we reflect and make decisions. Malachite helps ease times of change. Peridot supports us in honestly accepting life as it but knowing that it can be shaped to meet our desires.

Clove brings courage in times where we need to be honest with ourselves. Chamomile can keep us calm and centered in times of chaos. Ginger gives fire to bring plans to completion.

Mugwort is such a staple in my practice, subconsciously even. One of my favourite incense is Mugwort. My grandma used to tell me that Mugwort tea is great for tummy troubles, so I've been keeping that around ever since. It's growing everywhere in the backyard. What a great herb altogether. I love learning about its dreaming-related properties.

A little secret for you - when I ask for the moodboards, it’s to get some additional clues to work together with the cards. My approach to cartomancy is more psycho-analytical than magical so when people send me the pics, I can already deduct something from their choice.

I can already tell you are most likely a pretty organised and neat person with a love for symmetry and clean lines. 😂 Feel free to correct me. I can be wrong. Nobody’s perfect. 🙂

A friend gifted me Latisha Guthrie & Joanna Powell Colbert's Herbcrafter's Tarot awhile ago. It struck me today that the spring equinox was the perfect time to start reading the guidebook for this deck, one card at a time. I'll be doing this as a study (to learn the meanings better) as a bonus to my regular personal tarot pulls (which is a meditation on my own daily life).

I thought it might be a fun little project to share here, too.
