My pet headcanon for False and Iskall is that they're both ex-hitman recovering from their bloody days and are now hermits living peacefully (most of the time).

They weren't from rival organisations so they don't carry old beef, but the moment they met, they instantly recognised the alert, battle-ready way they carried themselves and were like "👀🤨 I know exactly what you are" [non-judgemental but very aware gaze]. And thus they continuously try to one up one another / test each other's skills, maintaining a competitive/lighthearted/hostile (but only when it's funny) rivalry. You want to prove your worth but sometimes you can't be bothered, but sometimes that's also the only thing on your mind. There's also a mix of mutual contempt / respect / clinginess / companionship. Sparring with the ex-hitman bestie for funsies.

Anyways, they are both recovering well from the hitman days, they're kind and generous hermits who are always willing to help their friends (and each other), but sometimes the bloodlust comes back so they casually take it out on each other then move on. When that doesn't scratch the itch, they trap Ren in a pit because Ren is inherently so killable lol

i've been poking at this too long to care how visually appealing it is anymore. My headcanons for the main characters' sexualities, based on canon information! (has no bearing on ships.) Canon speculation below the cut.

marcille (bi): fascinated by romance and loves romance. we only see her show explicit interest in a male (fictional character (General Halleus from the book series she loves)), but i don't think she's fully straight.

falin (aro? ace? lesbian? genderqueer?): falin's only interest in relationships in canon is 'she considered accepting shuro's proposal because she was afraid nobody else would want her, but felt it'd be unfair to him because she had no feelings for him'. i consider whether she's aroace or a lesbian or maybe bi/pan, and she also seems like she might have some genderqueer feelings, based on some of her discomfort with her body and wearing certain types of femme clothing. (Also the fact that she‘s part male dragon.) Since she ends the story going on a journey for herself, it feels like she'll finally get the chance to figure out what she wants.

laios (pan, demi): he hasn't shown explicit interest in men, but similar to marcille, i don't feel he's fully straight. He’s aesthetically attracted to monsters, at the very least, so gender probably doesn’t factor in for him. romance/sex just don’t seem to be much of a high priority to him in general, but he did think his ex-fiance was cute and didn't seem uncomfortable with the idea of marriage (just seemed unhappy with being trapped in his hometown), so i feel like demisexuality fits him well.

About his succubus: He was very noticeably not stopped in his tracks by it like Chilchuck and Marcille, but that could possibly be because it just….looked exactly like Marcille, not an obvious fantasy. He started blushing and stammering heavily when it turned into a monster, which like….this boy is definitely a furry/monsterfucker, if anything, but that doesn’t speak on his attraction to actual humans.

I think it speaks for something that the succubi are able to literally read minds and craft the perfect fantasy for their specific target. And for Laios, it wasn’t just “his friend Marcille”. It was a version of his friend Marcille that wasn’t grossed out by monsters, didn’t think he was weird for wanting to be one, and was able to turn Laios into one. It was a Marcille who understood him at his deepest level that made him become a blushing, stammering mess to rival Chilchuck. Which is why I think he’s Demi, and needs a strong emotional connection with someone before he finds them attractive.

kabru (pan): his special interest is people, and he's bold enough with his sexuality to kiss rin despite not being in a relationship with her. so being pan/bi feels appropriate.

chilchuck (bi): he has a wife, and they were childhood friends, so he's definitely allo. but his comments and behavior towards senshi makes me suspect he might be bi, and just never considered the possibility due to being in a committed relationship.

senshi (gay, ace): this is 90% off of vibes. he keeps to himself in the dungeon and doesn't seem to have any need for social company, he's a complete hermit. Being ace makes sense to me, but so would him just having a low social drive. His succubus was 'a woman he hadn't seen since he was a child', but his journal implies it wasn't a romantic/sexual attraction.

namari (bi/lesbian): she is at the very least attracted to women, given her behavior with kiki, but she does make a point to say that kaka is also attractive to her, and her friends at the bar tease her about Kaka being her “new” boyfriend (implying previous boyfriends).

shuro: the token straight (in love with falin, asked her to marry him). i love you shuro <3 (but i can also see him being into men. there's no evidence to the contrary)

izutsumi: aroace. literally no question. her succubus is her mother.

ngl i'm so serious when i say no one deserved to win mcc tr more than cub. like that man's been competing since mcc 5 and basically every twitch rivals (godspeed king). Yet he's always been brushed aside as just "one of the hermits". When in that time, he's become a top notch speedrunner and world record holder. And even though he's already won 2 twitch rivals and 2 mccs, it feels like his accomplishments were always overlooked.

Cause rather than having spontaneous power moves, cub's strength has always been the consistency and continuing growth of his mechanical skills. Cub's been a grinder since day 1, forever practicing and improving as a player. So to see him absolutely dominate this mcc with the yellow yaks was SO satisfying (shout out to that moment when everyone was top 10). Obviously he had some fantastic plays, like that quickshot in dodgebolt or getting 2nd in the final rocket spleef round. But he was just so solid in everything from grid runners to meltdown to sky battle. Cub winning this event feels like a long overdue acknowledgement of the all rounder he's become. From winning one of the first minecraft Rivals events to being crowned champion of the first ever live mcc, Cub's forever been a competitive dark horse. And I'm so so SO happy to see him get that crown

(true and helsknight are rivals, with true always coming on top in their battles). and ive been thinking that, hels grian, unlike npg, is just a complete stick in the mud, so serious, orderly, but ultimately a mastermind

Imagine being the first Gojo to have both the six eyes and be able to handle such techniques such as infinity and hollow purple back during the Heian period with Sukuna, the one and only King of Curses, being your rival.

Back in the day, during that time period, good and evil wasn't so clear. Sorcerers and Curses alike fought to gain the upper hand to stand at the top of the world.

You and Sukuna, on the other, didn't have to prove anything as you both were already such prominent and powerful figures that all knew of and didn't dare fight.

But eventually you found your weekly fights with Sukuna to be getting worse. You were on the losing end more frequently.

You couldn't pinpoint why you were weakening and why Sukuna was getting stronger still. Well, until it became obvious.

You were growing older.

Back during the prime of your youth, you could keep up with Sukuna easily and bat away any curses or sorcerers who threatened, but now? Your bones ache and fights take longer than they used to.

At first, you didn't mind. Aging was just part of the human process of life. But you did worry. You were strong. Stronger than any of your sorcerer brethren. You feared they wouldn't be able to keep up and you knew that another Gojo to be born like you wouldn't happen for a long long time.

So you cursed yourself and became something akin to Sukuna. A curse with horns protruding from your head, a diamond like crown encircling your brow, a single wing manifesting along your back while a second wing formed in that of black lines to mirror the other.

Many said you went mad and had disappeared and turned into a curse because of it.

And with your disappearance, legends were told on how you created a second plane of existence where a fortress of midnight resides and how the daylight never reaches there.

Many tried to follow after you be to kill you or to seek answers, but none ever found where this so called second plane existed.

Others say that Sukuna visits you quite frequently. They say that is why the earth shakes and the clouds turn dark and rumble. They say that's why natural disasters form and people die. All because you to battle one another for years on end. Your human life no longer holding you back.

And ever since Sukuna was sealed away as a cursed object (the objects being his fingers), the legends of your existence seemed to cease altogether. Until much later ... in present time.

Itadori fell backwards. His eyes wide and his heart beating fast. His breath quickened. His palms felt sweaty and he couldn't deny the tremble shaking him to his very core. As he looked upon the figure who split the sky open and descended down, he couldn't help but to think ... was this fear?

chasing slumber by hyperlittlenori - another fic by this author! this is some of the most intense sterek smut i've ever read in my life, i literally forgot to breathe during it. the boys use sex to cope but it's a lot healthier than it sounds, i swear. there's also a lot of fluff, i love this one so much. this authors writing is immaculate.

from love not lust by hyperlittlenori - another one, i know! this one is just really simple and sweet. the boys fall in love through book annotations and it's so extremely soft. asexual derek is beautiful.

deaton's dream beans by thenerdnextdoor - a coffeeshop/bookstore AU! derek is a brooding hermit who owns a bookstore and stiles is an obnoxious but adorable barista who's trying to start a war with a rival coffee shop. this is such a fun story, with a tiny bit of angst and a whole lot of fluff. also, background thiam! i've read this multiple times, it's just so silly.

i ain't scared of your teeth by antisepticdork - stiles gets attacked by harpies, derek gets growly about it, they fall in like. this one is very much a 'monster of the week' fic, very chill and a bit goofy.

we've written volumes (in blood and scars and ink) by notthequiettype - stiles gets attacked by the alpha pack and derek nurses him back to health with a whole lotta werewolf healing mojo. solid banter, minor smut and a lot of fluff.

you saw me standing alone by orphan account - so obviously i like fics where stiles gets hurt and derek plays the sexy nurse, because here's another one! this is such a sweet fic, and the smut at the end is A+, slutty bottom derek is one of my favourite flavours of derek. he mewls, guys. mewls.

this is ridiculous by zosofi - a pining derek, a bloodthirsty, virgin killing unicorn and an oblivious, virginal stiles stilinski. this fic is so goofy and i love it.

warm shadows by stilinskisparkles - stiles gets hurt after another kidnapping and derek offers to help him out while he heals. a zero angst fic with some great banter and an evil peter hale thrown into the mix. these boys are so in love i wanna scream.

hear it in the silence by elisela - post season six fic where stiles and derek are best friends. stiles drags derek along on an impromptu road trip to escape the pressure of college and they realise they're in love along the way. such a romantic fic with top tier healthy communication, it's just a really beautiful story about falling in love with your best friend.

well, they do both specialize in different subjects,,, Kokomi's more of a marine-themed hostess than a proper research-droid, made to record and recite information and perform demonstrations that range from rudimentary to something even well-versed professionals would consider advanced, while Freminent is much more focused on the physical aspects of your work - his introverted and somewhat reclusive personality meaning he'd rather spend the bulk of his day looking after your equipment than helping you in the lab. which, of course, isn't to say he's not affectionate; he's just more of the type to silently strive after your approval, lingering in your peripheral and hesitantly offering to accompany you on your dives, whereas Kokomi's more than happy to perch herself on your lap and wonder aloud if there was something she could do to help you work off some of the stress from your oh-so-demanding work. companion droids aren't supposed to fight, so they keep their bickering 'professional', arguing about how best to help you and which of them is more qualified to be the center of your attention while you're distracted, jotting down notes about a newly discovered sub-species of hermit crabs and generally forgetting you have androids to tend to at all.

and, of course, Kokomi's flawless smile and Freminent's general bashfulness mean that the only thing you're ever going to see is your androids 'enjoying' a passionate conversation on the preferred mating condition of lionfish, but hey, at least you'll be satisfied knowing your two precious assistants get along so well <3

When You’re Kamisato Ayato’s Sweetheart— Headcannons ♡

I wrote a little fic after the headcannons! Ayato x gn!reader ♡ I cannot stress this enough Ayato is an intense dude in his discription but otherwise the fic is very sweet fluffy stuff you're gonna love it trust me.

Content warnings: Cursing lol. There is a small mention of blood and disposal of bodies---Shuumatsuban stuff. Also mention of blinding oneself in a hyperbolic context. Otherwise it's a very fluffy fic! Let me know if I should add any more warnings!

Ok so Ayato is the overworked head of the Kamisato clan. One would think he has absolutely ZERO time for a partner and would opt for an arranged marriage with some heiress or noblewoman in order to “fulfill his duties as the Yashiro Commissioner”.

”FUCK THAT”, I headcannon.

Even though Ayato is beyond committed to his duties, he is also extremely heartful. Everything he does, although it seems like a grab for power, is fueled by devotion to those he loves. And the love he feels is the hearth that sets fire to his soul and keeps him pushing through every stack of paperwork, every meeting that drones on, every all-nighter and treaty and public presence.

And he just so happens to fall in love with you.

Not only that, but I’ve seen a lot of content displaying Ayato as a neglectful partner; too consumed by his duties to pay attention to his relationship—despite how much he adores you. And like, yeah, I guess any person with that much on their plate would experience the pitfall of unintentionally ignoring their partner in lieu of their duties.

But Ayato isn't just any person.

He's the head of the fucking Yashiro Commission.

This man has work up the wazoo but he gets it done. He constantly takes on more and more but it’s never too much for him to weather. He handles it. And guess what? You factor into that.

I think his partner would be so pampered by him, their whims and needs constantly met with zero delay, nothing they could ask for is too much, to the point where they are just desensitized to the laborious nature of the estate.

I see his darling partner wandering into his office during an extremely important meeting with some foreign powers or opposing clan heads because they need their hubbby to help them with a jar they just can’t get open. Obviously, they are pursued by various staff and/or Thoma scuttling about. The staff are running into walls and whisper-yelling in an attempt to catch her/him/them and prevent the well-meaning and hungry partner from interrupting the commissioner’s meeting. Only for Ayato to be across the room in a fraction of a heartbeat once his partner slides open the door; not only opening the jar for them but giving his partner a sweet forehead kiss as well.

The staff are frantically wiping sweat from their foreheads and clutching their palpitating hearts from the panic The Commissioner's Darling caused.

It came as a shock to not only the nobility, but everyone in Inazuma when the Yashiro Commissioner announced his newfound public relationship. A relationship with…a commoner? No. A relationship with a commoner of Inazuma would be much more acceptable. With an outlander. What was he thinking? This scandal was a dash on the Commissioner's reputation. A dash that reflects poorly not only on him, but on his clan as a whole. Threatening the political influence and overall power of the Yashiro Commission.

It’s not that Ayato didn’t know this or didn’t care. Every political move made by him was beyond calculated—it was hand-designed and enacted by destiny itself. But…he had an undeniable weak point.

Despite his elegant appearance, despite his agreeable manner of speech and inherent persuasiveness, the Yashiro Commissioner was a man of steel. His ability to focus on his work, his efficiently, could not even be rivaled by that of an ancient scholar. The work of a hermit that has spent a hundred years crouched over a scroll could not only be matched by Ayato in a half an hour but also come out better. Beyond that, the multi-dimensional way of thinking he possessed that enabled him to checkmate any opposition in mere minutes was, frankly, terrifying. Countless bodies have been disposed of in the sea behind the Kamisato estate, not by his own hand, but by the hands of the Shuumatsuban at his order. Though, Ayato has never and would never hesitate to cut down anyone who stood in his way. It was just that it was easier to talk his way through a problem, or to not get his hands dirty with blood he would have to wash off later.

One would think he spilt blood and ran his brain power into the ground in the pursuit of political power or the desire to maintain it. No. Inazuma paled in comparison to the loyalty that Ayato used to drag himself forward through each and every day--he did it all and would do anything to protect his precious family.

When you wandered into his path and into his heart, you became a part of that mantra.

Not only did he endlessly and tirelessly labor to protect his last blood relative and his family name, but you too. An outlander whose smile shimmered in his eyes, who gifted him the experience of his heart thumping with romance in his chest for the first time in his laborious life.

So archons help any poor soul that stands in the way of him keeping you. And he would sooner blind himself then let a single one of your needs be delayed by a fraction of a second.

This sounds intense. Ayato is an intense man. But his devotion to you is exemplified in much more passive, much sweeter and innocent ways.

Unbeknownst to you, your meal was fully expensed by your lover, who had sent Thoma to you with the bag of mora and detailed instructions on how to treat you after having recieved an update from the Shuumatsuban about your lack of funds (sorry for the spying but Ayato has access to an extensive network of informants around Inazuma---a service he has been leveraging for years. You think he wouldn’t exploit this highly classified agency if it meant a smile gracing your face? Yeah, right.). He also instructs Thoma to, following your lunch, drag you if he must into multiple clothing, jewelry and candy shops. “Don’t come back until there is not a single coin in that pouch.”, being The Commissioner’s deliberate order.

And don’t get me started on what happens if you ask something of him yourself. Ayato has never said no to you once. And he never will. He’s just too weak when met with your sweet voice, your big puppy dog eyes, your pleading words. You don’t have to grovel. You don’t even have to say please. If you ask something of him, he will stop at nothing to ensure it is done. And he won’t let you see a single bead of sweat or hint of exertion while he does it.

You’re unable to sleep, tossing and turning in your otherwise empty bed. You should never have trouble sleeping---the soft sheets, plush duvet, and at least three mattress pads promising you a comfortable rest every night. But you can’t help desiring the company of your lover. So you sneak into Ayato’s office. At this ungodly hour, he is still engrossed in his work; filling out documents and writing letters that must be sent out by the time the sun rises. He will prolong entering his bed for as long as work asks it of him. But if you ask him to come to bed? In that sleepy, small and lovestruck voice of yours? He is holding you close and tight under the covers, like you're a battery charging him with life, while whispering sweet reassurances into your ear and nuzzling into your neck until your breathing slows to a light snore. It is only then, when you are fast asleep, that he slips back out of bed and returns to the drudgery of his workload—not a wink of rest gracing his eyes. He doesn’t need it. As long as you are safe and happy and cared for, he can work until his death and then some.
