From the maker of the Hermitcraft Attraction Survey, I bring to you more fun data!

The goal of this survey to to analyze the trends and preferences of Hermitblr as a whole with regards to their fanfiction preferences. This is way less complicated than my previous survey (read: actually possible), so the results should be out quickly after the polling period ends. A few of the questions have a space for elaboration after. These are not required, but you are all welcome to give me deranged paragraphs to wade through (pls pls the deranged paragraphs are the fun part)

At the end of the survey period, I will compile the data and share my findings.

The Hermitcraft Personality Relation Survey

From the maker of the Hermitcraft Attraction Survey comes yet another proof that I am a huge nerd who analyzes data for fun!

In this survey, the goal is to see if there is statistically significant relationship between one’s personality and their favorite Hermitcraft member. Participants will select their favorite hermit and answer a few simple scale of 1-5 questions about themselves. All results will be anonymous.

(Fun fact: I asked several questions about demographics (gender, sexuality, shipping, etc) and not a SINGLE one was statistically significant except for Gem and lesbians. What can I say, the lesbians love her.)

(because we don’t already have enough hermitblr surveys)

If you’ve ever had a thought about which hermits were most attractive (physical, romantic, or otherwise—it does not matter), then this survey is relevant to you!

i wasnt able to fill out the survey while it was open since i was busy, so im just gonna copy paste a positive rant about scar i left in a server: scar is like. he takes inspiration from innocent things like disney animations and lego sets. and he does that well. but hes also a cut throat capitalist and will scam you of your riches and flaunt his loot right in front of you. and he dies every 5 minutes because he never checks his health and will walk around with no armor just to show off his skin. and i dont think theres any footage of him cursing but he strips in every series hes in. irl hes disabled and an activist and likes cooking for his family even though he cant eat. he has nice hands and a friendly face and a voice like hersheys chocolate. he is always cheerful even at the worst of times. he gets sick a lot but he always comes back. hes arguably the best survival builder in the world. and he always posts about his cat. and his cat is in minecraft. and when he actually tries to survive hes often one of the last ones alive. and he licks diamonds and eats copper but also has entire rooms dedicated to cake. hes a wizard too, has been at least twice. he deals with magic demons yet sells people worthless crystals. just. scar. everything about scar.

I think the reason why people think Scar sexy is because he is inherently multiple types of loveable man at once, he's the type of man who would make grandma swoon and call him a "polite young man" and give him cookies and squeeze his cheek , but he's also the type of man to be classed as a himbo that would probably walk into a glass door, apologise to said door, then a few minutes later do the exact same thing. HE ALSO, is the corrupt capitalist sneaky little business man who would scam you out of your house and you would somehow not even realise until too late because he's simply just like that™, and to top it all of....he has the face of a mamas boy, the personality of a high schooler selling exam answers and the mentality of a Windows XP computer trying to run Minecraft. Scar is singlehandedly so many loveable man traits at once and that inherently makes him sexy in both the smelly rat way AND the cute way. -i am too much of a coward to go off anon, but I'll call myself GH anon.

Lol but in all seriousness this is probably the reason so many people find him attractive. People want different things out of an attractive hermit, but Scar manages to hot a lot of points without alienating anyone.

Using the hermitgirls as a point of comparison, most people who chose Gem as the most attractive hermit find cuteness appealing. She's sweet and friendly! Conversely, most people who chose Cleo like someone who could not only kick their ass, but would do so upon request. It's a different ideal of "most attractive hermit".

Scar flagrantly ignores this and attracts simps like a magnet.

not to dunk on anybody in the hermitcraft attraction response thing but 1) if y'all aren't swooning over slightly unhinged aussie Pearl idk what's happening bc i don't understand. she sniped 85% of the boatem ravagers while scar and grian ran around shrieking. QUEEN. 2) look I do understand Grian not being featured. But there's something about a sweet-voiced little gremlin man that calls to me. I'd say I'd love to play with him but we shouldn't be unleashed at the same time. SUCH PRANKS.

To be fair, the survey was set up to only see people's top choices. Theoretically, Pearl could be everyone's second choice and therefore have a LOT of people attracted to her, but the survey wasn't designed to collect that type of data. It would be way too much work to incorporate that into how I already had the survey set up lmao
