Just wanted to let you guys know that I have a pretty good fic called The Fourth Star (the rewrite, the original is bad) and pls go read it I am desperate bc it’s not getting very many reads despite having seven chapters posted.

Its an Xisuma/Grian focused watcher au that also has a snake, set all the way back in season six (the original was written back in early season seven and I wanted to keep that plot point so sorry if you weren’t around for that)

so like apparently many people don’t know about Cub and Scar’s alien

Basically after Convex escaped Season 5 with their spaceship they brought this guy in a cage but .

For some reason the spaceship crashed in S6 (probably Jarvis’ fault) and they lost all their memories of the Vex. The alien was already gone by that time they regained their memories when they found the original vex masks.

Apparently Scar found the alien almost immediately, which is interesting because he didn’t mention it to Cub, his business partner for the past two seasons but he showed it to Doc… much to think about.

These are (from what we could find) the only mentions that didnt get lost to time of where the plotline for this creature was supposed to be going.

It’s also important to note that Scar fed both raw Beef and Etho to the alien, as well as alluding to Bdubs, Beef, Etho and Doc when he mentioned that Some Things had gone missing in the jungle, all of this while talking to Doc himself. That’s all the nHo, who lived in a jungle, we have come full circle LMAO.

Maybe Scar wanted to scare Doc for the sake of the old Convex vs nHo rivalry,, who knows! As if eating them in S5 wasn’t enough

I’m watching Grian’s Hermitcraft currently and I’ve gotten pretty much to the end of Season 6. Fellow hurt/comfort lovers, listen up: If you go and look at it, Scar’s skin from Demise and his 3rd Life red name skin are almost the same (along with a ton of other 3L Similarities). So here’s a new little headcannon idea I had!

I think c!Grian would get incredibly uncomfortable if people brought up Demise. It would just remind him of 3L far to easily. He would play it off like he does with everything because let’s be honest that man deflects like nobody’s business, and he would try and get away from the conversation as fast as possible. I truly believe in my brain that even after all this time Grian will never get over the 3L events. I think the cactus ring will forever be one of his nightmares and being reminded of it is a sure fire way of sending Grian into a panic attack.

Now- the only person Grian can’t lie to is Scar. They’ve simply teamed up to many times for Scar not to know Grian’s tells. Scar goes to check up on Grian and: shenanigans ensue.
