ITS FINALLY HERE

About a month in and 21 parts later

Contents include:

Kanohi Good Guy, mask of hope and perseverance, based on the legend himself and the Metru head

Kanohi Lossus, mask of Great Anger and Distress, and the Lossus Sword

(Also yeah, that specific hand model got phased out cause it was impractical but I was too lazy to re-render it)

Also new Toa Mata Weapons for Kopaka, Lewa, and Onua, in line with 2015 style. All weapons have secondary forms.

Parts pack also include my previous head models (hopefully the models are fixed this time). The previous torso and foot part from my old parts pack are discontinued, haven't got any idea to integrate gear function, waist articulation, and neck flexibility thing

(As good as it gets rn)

Also parts still ricochet wildly when inserted or rotated in stud.io, idk how to even fix it

the reason for why bionicle was a success and hero factory a failure was because while they both had mass-produced robocops they both depicted it VERY differently in that hero factory was copaganda while bionicle said acab

Ice Planet Stormer

“Calling all heroes, it’s Hero February!”

Inspired by ben.cossy’s Ice Planet Stormer MOC released last year and the recent boom in Ice Planet 2002 nostalgia, I’m happy to finally release Ice Planet Stormer from his cryosleep!

This creation is Alpha Leader Stormer, refitted for a Brain Attack mission in the frozen wastes of a mysterious planet far from the Makuro Belt. Amidst the glacier barrens and tundra bluffs of this distant world, the evil brains have been spotted on another scheme!

For years now I’ve wanted to attach the Nexo Knights sword as a wristblade for a hero, and Stormer here was the perfect candidate! While the end result did involve some part modification, I think it’s a perfect Ice Planet substitute for his Brain Attack sword!

I was also keen to keep the original blue/black/trans-orange color scheme, but this gave me quite a few problems with the torso, which was colorlocked in pearl dark gray and flat silver and so didn’t give me many options. Fortunately, I was able to dye the part black! Paired with some blue shoulder addons I got from a bootleg set, he’s geared up and ready to open up a can of brain freeze!

Also includes obligatory photo of Stormer and Commander Cold!

Oh hey, a custom Bionicle/Hero Factory head pack

(cannot seem to find any on the web, or I'm bad at finding things, so)

There is mainly two head types in the pack, Matoran Universe head and Agori/Glatorian head. Had to differentiate them cause apparently they have different eye heights and the latter type is a lot less forgiving in space

The Matoran Universe head is compatible with Mata, Metru, Okoto connections (except Hewkii Mahri's Garai, rip, also prolly Teridax's Kraahkan). The Agori/Glatorian head is compatible with Agori/Glatorian, HF Breakout, HF Brain Attack (screw HF 2.0 and 3.0 heads)

(Edit) Things to note about the models:

-Garai is incompatible due to space needed for the Okoto's mask connections, may be revised soon

-had to cut a bit of the bar from the HF Brain Attack to make the head fit into Agori/Glatorian helmets

-Agori/Glatorian heads are smushed to make sure Brain Attack visor+helmet fits

-the heads are a little bit taller (half an axle/pin taller) for light pipings

-will prolly edit the models soon so the light pipings will work better, especially for the nyan head

-idk why but stud.io seem to make the parts ricochet wildly when inserted

Also bonus torso piece and foot, its articulated (why haven't they thought of this)

Also apparently every rendering software I had broke when I tried exporting the stud.io model for render

File is here, idk what other free anonymous file hosting sites there is, remind me if you want it reuploaded since PixelDrain only hosts it for a few months

Ok but like. As stupid as the original Hero Factory ending concept was (where Makuro was a Turaga and it was the Bonkleverse all along and there was an evil Villain Factory under the Hero Factory building or whatever), there is something kinda profound about a creation of the Great Beings proceeding to not only do basically what the GBs did, but also to make his own creations resemble the species that created him in the first place (the 1.0 and Breakout designs used the same head-piece as Bionicle's '09 sets).

EDIT: This might not actually be a real thing. I thought it was, but I can't find any actual evidence.

"Slizurion," the Ancients

A "Slizurion," as depicted in a pre-shattering Gravity Tribe codex.

The Slizurions were once a sprawling and prominent empire throughout the galaxy. At their hands were limitless miracles beyond anything the Great Beings could now conceive of, channeling their power in various medallions.

However, for reasons still unknown, the Slizurions began to drop in population. Planets once lit up by their vast cities blinked out and faded into dust. Their mark on the world rapidly waned. Desperate, a group of survivors scoured the cosmos for a new world, happening upon a lifeless rock filled to the brim with a shimmering, miraculous substance. They sent countless machines to the planet's surface, divided into 7 elemental factions so they could toil and terraform the world. They sealed themselves deep within the planet, trapped in an indefinite slumber, waiting for the work of the machines to end.

With the turn of The Millenium, a strange meteor's impact would stop their grand plans. Over millions of years, the machines would undergo unintended evolutions and the Slizurions would be lost to the folds of time, never to touch the galaxy again...
