my goblin baby boy is going to have three stages in total , each having one song to perform besides origin closing off the concert , so he’s going to be performing seven songs in total ! of course , he’s going to be tired as fuck , but origin’s schedules have somewhat prepared him for this , and it feels like any other normal instance where origin has to perform . so romeo isn’t too ... shocked or anything lol he kind of figured this is would happen ! anyways , he’s still pretty juiced for his stages and hopes to make the most fun of it , at least . that is until the after party ! romeo is probably gonna go all out [ when is he .. not ] for the party because he needs to kick the fuck back and chill out for a second . he’s definitely going to pregame right after the concert ends ! if u need weed , romeo is ur guy ! he’s gonna be in and out of the party randomly getting high ..... somewhere , somehow , so tag along if thats ur thing . overall , he’s gonna work his butt off and then chill and have fun ! onto the specific plots for him .

romeo is the most aussie mf out there , so he is definitely going to be in the pool sporting some designer trunks ! he’s a water baby so if you wanna just chill and swim , play a pool game or have him teach ur muse to swim , he’s ur dude

romeo is naturally super competitive so he’s going 2 have the time of his life playing pool or beer pong , his personal faves !! come join his team or play against him pls !

if he’s not swimming and outselling ariel in the pool , he’s gonna be drinking . like a madman , so if ur muse wants a drinking buddy or have him expose them to drinking , he’s def gonna have a cup in hand at all times lmfao

aeri , like romeo , has a handful of stages too ! she’s going to have four in total , and will be performing seven songs in total ! she’s honestly really happy about having a lot of stages ? it definitely beats having to perform the same one (1) song all the time , plus she gets to wear cute little outfits and have people look at her so .. thats that on that . despite it being obvious hard work , she’s honestly really happy for the first time in months for the concert to showcase more of femme fatale , and she loves performing with her members too ! big bonus is all the lovely collab stages uwu she’s also really giddy for the after party so she can dress up like the true lil thotty she is ? she’s going to have lots of fun , make horrible decisions and be super out of it ! aeri doesnt have the best alcohol tolerance but like .. thats not gonna stop her from getting shitfaced lmfao . she’s a rly cute drunk if i do say so myself .. but yeah ! she’s also gonna be getting high nd things of that nature too . overall she’s going to really enjoy the concert and the afterparty too ! onto the plots !!

NA LCS Week 1 Recap

Week one back to the stages we all know and love saw some drastic differences for the performances in many teams as well as very disappointing showings from teams we would expect to be at the top of the week one leader boards. Over the next few weeks I'm going to breakdown and give my opinion on why or what is causing teams to preform the way they are from the perspective of a rookie analyst.

Counter Logic Gaming

CLG vs Cloud 9

Win - Loss

CLG vs Team Liquid

Win - Loss

Coming off week one with the trade of Dardoch from Immortals to Counter Logic Gaming saw synergy from every role that was never seen with Xmithie in the Jungler role.  We also saw the return of Aphromoo playing like the support we all know he can play like, this current meta of supports being and to roam and make plays all across the map we see him taking advantage of any mistakes that the other team would make at the time and shotcall accordingly. Overall CLG look very strong and look to play EchoFox and TSM next week.

Team Dignitas

Team Dignitas vs Team Envy

Team Dignitas vs Flyquest

After Dignitas started picking up steam during the end of Spring 2017 they came into this split looking like they wanted to continue that hot streak they started. Although they haven't been tested against the stronger teams in the league yet they still look very strong starting off the split, with Summday showing off his top lane Lucian and getting player of the game three times. Hopefully the team can keep this up against the stronger teams in the league but one lesson we can learn from game 2 vs Flyquest is don't let Summday get ahead on Fiora. We all want to see what they look like playing TSM and Team Liquid next week.

This is what shook up the LCS this week, Immortals in the past has been an extremely strong team but with them not even qualifying for playoff last split things started to look bad for the team that in the past has had major success. With Xmithie coming into the team from CLG people were eager to see if that was the change that they needed to the team to become a contender again and clearly after this week it paid off. The entire team looked much better then they did last split with Flame and Polbelter playing better then we have in a long time.  Even with Immortals having a week consisting of the first and third place team you wouldn't expect them to end off the week 2-0 hopefully they can keep this up next week going against Team Envy and Flyquest.

With the announcement of Echo foxes allstar Challenger team im glad it didn't take away from the very good performance from the main Echo Fox team.  Froggen has really proven himself to be an all star mid laner and Im very happy to see that he is getting to play on a team that started to work around him, with an impressive performance from Akaadian playing a less aggressive role and trying to let his other laners snowball, which is exactly what you would want to see in this current meta. For a team that just narrowly avoided resignations last split I hope this Summer we the Echo Fox we saw this week especially when they face off against CLG and C9 next week.

For a team that almost fell in the promotional tournament last split they do look more solid then they did before, but for this week I think that they got a win over a Phoenix1 that looks much weaker then they did last season, and a loss over a Team Dignitas that looks much stronger then they did last split. Maybe Im wrong and they can keep up this tempo next week against Immortals and Team Liquid.

TSM come back from MSI not looking like their regular self the first game of the week was a rematch of the Spring Split Finals vs Cloud 9, TSM looked better then C9 as they were able to capitalize on the mistakes of a not so good looking C9. Then came game two of the week when TSM still played well, but nowhere near they needed too, to defeat the new roster of Immortals. Hopefully this loss is due to either TSM not getting enough practice in this patch due to coming back from MSI or due them underestimating their opponents. We hope to see TSM return to pre-MSI state during week 2 when they play Team Dignitas and CLG.

Team Liquid vs Echo Fox

Not too much can be said about TL's performance this week, completely ignoring the performances of the other teams these games and just focusing on the way they played themselves is nothing more then a mess. I'm not exactly sure who is the current shot caller for TL but they made drastic mistakes during all games they played, starting off with a four kill lead against CLG they were still unable to translate that too to a win. With the team benching GoldenGlue for what they think was under performance after the CLG game they still played the same or even worse in the game against Echo Fox.  What TL clearly doesn't understand is Goldenglue was not the issue the team was having, he did get caught out a few times but so did everyone during the games with CLG, this scapegoating of GoldenGlue will just cause the team to not look at the real issues going on. At least TL as an organization gets to celebrate Hungrybox at Smash'N'Splash 3 winning the Smash Melee singles.  We hope that TL deals with their issues for week 2's games when they face off  Team Envy and Team Dignitas.

From 2nd place to 0-2, Cloud 9 just dont look good, plenty of mistakes paired with a very hard week start them off to a very bad start to summer.  There isnt much to be said with their play is really just doesn't have the same polish that spring C9 did.  They had a very hard week against CLG new roster and the spring split champions TSM, but I did expect them to try and take advantage of TSM's lack of play on this current patch. With C9 playing Phoenix1 and Echo Fox next week we can hope they look more like the finalists from last split.

Flyquest

Last season saw Flyquest explode on the scene, bursting everyone's expectations for what the team could achieve.  Finishing at 4th place last split and doing it in their unconventional way of play was impressive. At the end of the regular season we did see Flyquest taking a massive loss streak, and unfortunately they are still playing exactly as they were during that streak even with the roster change adding ex-TSM ADC WildTurtle. I hope to see them return to the off meta/unconventional play that worked for them so well during the start of Spring and this current meta of starting Doran's Shield would help them greatly in doing that. Week 2 may be hard for them facing off Immortals and Phoenix1 but maybe we can see a surprise like we usually do from them.

With Arrows well deserved title of MVP for the Spring split something that worried me would be that they start to play around him as the main and only carry. I didnt want to see too much change in the team and if they kept to the play they were during Spring I think this week would have gone more in their favor. The issue behind Phoenix1 centers in a lot on their draft, playing a lot of “Protect the ADC” team comps, putting all their eggs in one basket in depending of Arrow carrying the game but with Stunt leaving and Shady as their starting Support the synergy doesn't seem to be as it was during the early game. I would love to see Phoenix1 return to team comps that they played during the spring regular season with Zig and Ryu returning to the players they were before.  Hopefully we can see them return to the team that placed 3rd last split when they face off against C9 and Flyquest next week.

Summary

As much as I do love major upsets and surprises in the LCS I want to seen the surprise do to the underdog playing better then the expected winning team, not because the winning team played below their usual self. Maybe this week was just an anomaly and everything returns back to normal, while this obviously is a small sample size maybe it does tell the story of things to come. This weeks recap was longer then most recaps will be from me due to there was a lot of cover for week 1. Either way we will have to wait and see when Phoenix1 and Cloud9 kickoff week 2.
