Tumblr media
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
At the start of your relationship, it takes him a while to get used to displays of affection, both giving and receiving. Being so busy with work all of his adult life, Viktor has little to no experience when it comes to relationships. But he learns quickly and turns out to be a very needy and affectionate partner. He loves physical touch and melts whenever you give him a hug and a soft kiss every night when he comes back home from work. He loves giving you gentle and loving embraces, as well as kissing your forehead. There's just something so intimate and tender about those gestures that make him feel like he's doing a good job at loving you. Clings to your body whenever the two of you are asleep, with his face nuzzled in your hair or neck.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
You most likely to meet through work or during one of the galas as those tend to get quite boring so the two of you start a conversation while hiding away from crowds. Viktor loves to see curiosity and inquisitiveness so if you express those for his work, you'll surely get along well. He is a very honest, kind and supportive best friend. Never hesitates to be there for you when you need him and is always ready to give you advice or comfort.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Viktor loves to cuddle! Feeling the softness and warmth of your body against his own is a dream come true and it makes all his worries melt away. Often invites you to sit with him on your couch while he reads to you, loving the way you cuddle up into his side. Also likes when you put your head in his lap so he can play with your hair and vice versa. As mentioned before, he is a big fan of cuddling in bed and even starts going to work later in the morning because he has such a hard time leaving your hold. Cuddling with Viktor is a very intimate and tender experience.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Before meeting you, settling down was the very last thing on his mind. As your relationship progresses, Viktor learns to appreciate the domesticity of your life together. He is a very clean and neat man so he has no issue doing chores, it's the cooking that represents quite a challenge to his genius mind. Because of that he's fine with doing the cleaning while you do the cooking. If you're not much of a cook either then the two of you try to learn together (which may or may not end up in several close calls of a house fire). Viktor cherishes your joint life and loves the place you two now call your home. After some time of living together, he is willing to settle down as long as you feel the same.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Viktor is an honest and kind man so he would never try to lead you on or keep you in an unfair relationship. He calmly and regretfully admits that he wishes to break up and says he would like to remain friends. If you refuse, he understands completely. You're just such a good person that he would appreciate still having you around as a friend but he knows he hurt you and that you need time.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
As it was with settling down, getting married wasn't something on his mind before you came into his life. At first, he thinks it's a bad idea due to his health. Viktor thinks it'd be cruel to make you tied to a man who doesn't have much time left but starts thinking about it again after you reassure him that you wish to stay by his side no matter what happens. After a couple of years of dating, Viktor is ready. He makes a ring for you with an encased Hextech crystal (a dormant one of course), prepares a dinner date for the two of you and fumbles through the proposal. Hearing you say 'yes' makes his whole world bright and joyful, he is so grateful to call you his soon-to-be spouse.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
So so gentle. Viktor is a very kind and gentle soul who treats you as his most precious jewel. His touch and gestures are very caring and tender and so are his words and actions. He is a very giving and loving man who always treats you with nothing but utter respect and warmth.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
Viktor loves hugs, always joking how he needs to recharge his battery by holding you. He gives them each day once he comes back home from work, telling you how much he missed you and giving you a soft kiss. His hugs are warm, tender and fond. Always murmuring words of appreciation and praise while his arms are protectively locked around your form, his face nuzzling softly into the crook of your neck.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
It takes a while for him to build up the courage and he plans it in advance. Organizes a whole date just to set the romantic mood while he says it and you could tell he was going to admit something important with how fidgety he was acting. Says it while holding your face in his calloused hands and gazing into your eyes. Smiles at you softly and kisses you once you return the sentiment. From then on, he says it almost daily because he realizes just how easy loving you is. Viktor says it in the morning, when he comes back to work, when you go to sleep or just whenever he feels like it. Never wants you to doubt his love for you and how much it grows bigger and bigger with each moment the two of you spend together.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Viktor doesn't get jealous easily. You two have a very trusting and honest relationship and agreed early on to work on your communication with one another in other to avoid conflict. His jealousy comes from a place of insecurity and, although he doesn't take it out on you, you notice how reticent he's become after a situation where someone other than him showed romantic interest in you. He hesitantly admits his feelings and doubts and then listens to you as you reassure him that he's the only one for you. After your encouragement gets through that thick skull of his, Viktor feels silly. Because you showed him, time and time again, that you never plan on leaving him and never once did you give him a reason to doubt you. Apologizes and hugs you tightly, feeling relieved and loved thanks to your words.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
His kisses are shy and so so gentle. Loves kissing your forehead and lips. Make-out sessions with Viktor are also very tender and relaxing, he pours all his love and adoration for you into his kisses. He also likes to kiss your nose because it makes you giggle so sweetly. Loves any kisses you're willing to give him but has a soft spot for hand kisses, especially when you kiss some cuts he got at work, and melts when you kiss the beauty marks on his face.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
He can be a little awkward around children and unsure how to act. However, he loves witnessing and entertaining a child's curiosity. He thinks it's fascinating and wishes more adults kept that part of themselves and carried it on with them. Children have no qualms or shame when it comes to asking questions and they don't care whether or not the questions sound stupid, they just want to learn. Viktor has no firm opinion when it comes to the two of you having children of your own, he'll adapt to whatever you wish to do as there are pros and cons in either situation. Although, he would make a very good and attentive father.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Mornings with Viktor are rare, as he often gets up before you and leaves for work. Whenever he sleeps in, you try to cherish the occasion as much as you can. His voice is rough with sleep in the morning and he's whiny if you wake him up earlier than he wants to be up. He usually doesn't sleep much so he deserves to sleep in every now and then so just let him have this. Let him hold you close and enjoy your shared warmth in the safety of your bedroom.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
Nights with Viktor are lazy and relaxing. He often comes home tired and tense from work so you two like to eat dinner and then do something to ease off the stress of the day. Sometimes, when his body aches more than usual, you'll give him a light massage and he always praises you for how you take care of him so well. Other times you read together or just cuddle up on the couch while discussing how your day went. At night, Viktor simply craves to be close to you and listen to your warm voice as you talk about what you did that day.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
He definitely reveals things slowly as he never had someone be interested in him as you are. Is genuinely surprised when you start asking for his opinion on things, his likes and dislikes or about his past. At first he thinks you may have an ulterior motive but soon notices that you're just genuinely curious about him and his life. He is usually a very private person but he indulges your curiosity and answers honestly any question you might have. It makes him feel wanted to have someone so interested and caring by his side.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Viktor doesn't have a short tamper but he can be very stubborn. Most things he can excuse but seeing injustice and ignorance makes his anger flare up. He isn't a violent man, but he is a confrontational one. With his intelligence and way with words he can easily dismiss someone's insults and refute their opinion. He is also very protective of you and is ready to confront anyone who tries to hurt you.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
Everything. Viktor loves and remembers everything about you. From your favorite book to your least favorite food. Viktor keeps every detail or information you shared with him locked in his mind. He knows your preferences, your hobbies and quirks. As I mentioned before, he is a very attentive and caring partner.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
The moment he realized he fell in love with you. You were hanging out in his lab, watching him struggle with an invention as he frustratingly ran his hands through his messy hair. Hating to see him so defeated, you made an off-hand comment on how you think he could make it work. You surely weren't an expert but you thought maybe, just maybe, it could help and it did! Your advice worked! Viktor swiftly pulled you into a hug, realizing after a moment that he may be crossing a boundary but just as he was about to pull away and apologize, you returned his embrace. It made his heart skip a beat and redness to adorn his cheeks and ears. That was when Viktor learned what it means to have butterflies in your stomach.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Viktor is very protective of you as he hates seeing you sad or hurt in any way. Gladly confronts anyone who ever dared to insult you or make you feel inferior. He is so gentle when comforting you, diminishing all your doubts and insecurities with reassurances and tender kisses. He isn't used for the gesture to be returned, so he is taken aback the first time you defend him against some pompous big shot who insults Viktor's abilities and intelligence due to the fact that he's from the Undercity. His eyes are laser-focused on your form and gestures as you mouth off the rude man and after the two of you leave, Viktor kisses you as hard as he can, making you breathless. Thanks you for being so good to him and believing in him, whatever would he do without you?
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
With Viktor being so attentive and remembering everything about you, he is very good at preparing dates that suit your taste. Due to his work, he does have a hard time remembering important dates (more on that in the next section) but he does his best. Prefers simple and cute dates over fancy ones. He will take you to your favorite coffee shop and then to a bookshop the two of you frequent at. Takes note of which books your gaze seems to linger at and buys them for you when you aren't looking. For your birthday, he usually makes your gift himself, something that is both beautiful and sentimental. All his gifts are incredibly thoughtful and show just how much he listens and adores you.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
He is a workaholic which makes him forget to take care of himself and often forget important dates such as anniversaries. This only becomes worse as Hextech progresses and the two of you often fight because of your conflicting points of view. You understand how important this is to him but would it kill him just to spend one night with you? On the other hand, Viktor is angry because he thinks you don't take his ambitions and goals seriously and he can be so stubborn that he starts acting very cold towards you. Once he realizes how much this is hurting you and that you're simply worried for his well-being, he relents and apologizes to you. He promises to do better and make up for lost time, going back to the sweet and thoughtful Vitya you fell in love with all those years ago.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
Not too concerned, what's important to him is that he looks neat and proper. He doesn't think of himself as a handsome man until you reveal your fondness for his looks. Your compliments and love do wonders for his self-confidence and it shows in the way he moves and acts. He becomes a lot more sure of himself and assertive thanks to you.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Yes. Viktor has gotten so used to you and he doesn't know how he lived before he met you. He is a man of routine and to have you suddenly out of his life would crush him. To have you forcefully ripped away from his side would turn him into a cold and empty shell of a man he once was.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
Once the two of you are official, he makes sure to buy you flowers every single week. Once he notices how much that gesture means to you, he makes ever-lasting ones out of metal and crystals so that they never wither. Still gets you real flowers every now and then because he knows you like to press them and keep them as sweet memories.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
Viktor holds a strong dislike towards cold, ignorant and selfish people. Unfortunately there are many such personalities in Piltover and he despises them. People who turn a blind eye towards those in need and only look after their own gain disgust him. He wants a caring and kind partner, someone with a strong sense of empathy and justice.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
Doesn't sleep for days and then crashes into a mini-coma. At this point, he might as well start injecting coffee directly into his bloodstream. His sleep habits improve thanks to you as you always remind him to get a healthy amount of sleep and replace his mugs of coffee with sweet milk. Sleep also comes easier to him and sounds a lot more inviting with you holding him in your arms.

You did your best not to squint at the men on the other side of the table. Doing so would only make it look like you were suspicious of them.
You were suspicious of them, of course, but there was no need to be obvious.
“My apologies, gentlemen,” you said slowly. “I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but with all of the opportunities available to you, I don’t understand why you are so interested in helping to fund the Haven.”
“It’s complicated.” Jayce Talis, the most famous Piltover inventor in recent history, rubbed at the space between his heavy brows.
“I do own and operate a relief organization and facilitate certain healthcare treatments, including minimizing the effects of Shimmer withdrawal,” you pointed out mildly. “Maybe, if you explain it slowly, I can follow along.”
One corner of his mouth curved upward, emphasizing the fullness of his lips. He was famously handsome and infamously unavailable, but that was fine. Your tastes ran in other directions.
His business partner - a man who was known around the Undercity only as Viktor - crossed his arms, slouching back in his seat. You tried not to judge it as a show of poor manners, especially when he straightened his leg with a wince. It was very likely Viktor just needed to adjust positions. Of course, it was equally likely that he didn’t find you very amusing.
“Make your point, Jayce,” Viktor muttered. “We have important business to take care of at the lab.”
“Yes, the lab,” Jayce said, adding a nod in your direction. “As you may already know, HexTech is doing well. We have made several important advancements and are set to debut more over the next few years. We own the patents to everything outright, so all profits come to us. Piltover has given us a few dozen grants and investments have flooded in. We have plenty of money to pursue the further development of HexTech.”
You nodded. It all seemed simple to understand so far.
“There is one particular area where HexTech does not excel: outreach.” Viktor interrupted with an impatient look at his now-pouting business partner. “That is why we reached out to you.”
“Yes, but is there a particular reason you want to support the Haven rather than any other Undercity outreach?” you pressed. Maybe you were a little paranoid, but your recent experiences with Silco had convinced you that being more discerning was probably a smart move.
Jayce sat forward slightly. “The Haven’s track record is impressive. Your expense justification reports have all shown remarkably low operating costs, your residents have started to find work with other Undercity businesses, and there’s plenty of buzz about the dent you’ve made in the Shimmer trade in your neighborhood.”
The blood roared in your ears at that. “That’s an overstatement, of course. Drug use waxes and wanes in neighborhoods over time. It’s just coincidence that Shimmer use decreased when the Haven opened.”
Jayce furrowed his brows, but Viktor looked like you had finally said something interesting. “I assume that is the line one must repeat vehemently if one wants to avoid the attention of the chem barons.”
“Chem barons?” Jayce repeated, now frowning harder. “They’re a local legend, a convenient shadow government that the people can blame their problems on.”
“Of course,” you agreed.
Viktor looked darkly amused. “Nothing more than a legend, certainly.”
“Yeah…” Jayce said slowly, glancing between you and Viktor. “Anyway, we’ve heard about the decreased drug use and we want to support that as much as possible. You and the Haven seem like the best choice to make that happen.”
“How is your security?” Viktor asked abruptly.
“We have a small team of guards for the exterior of the building,” you said honestly. It probably wouldn’t help anything if you told them exactly who was paying for that small team of guards. “There is almost no Enforcer presence in the Lanes, so we can’t count on a patrol happening at a crucial time.”
“I can pull a few strings,” Jayce assured you, totally confident. “I have some connections with the Enforcers. Piltover wants to support new development, especially when it isn’t tied to the drug trade. And they’re not going to find anything better than an anti-Shimmer organization with a proven track record.”
You nodded in acknowledgement of his point, but looked to Viktor. “And you? Do you also think the Haven is a good match for HexTech’s goals?”
Viktor lifted one shoulder in a halfhearted shrug. “I fail to see what impact your outreach could possibly have on the Undercity. The politics are snarled, the people are desperate, and there is too much money to be made from exploitation.”
That was a harsh assessment, but it was true. Jayce cleared his throat uncomfortably, but Viktor spoke again before the better-mannered of the pair could offer any reassurances. “That being said, I am… reluctantly impressed by what I have heard of your meetings with Silco. There are few willing to argue with him.”
You stiffened slightly at Viktor’s mention of Silco. Up to that point, you had both pointedly avoided using his name, as evidenced by the way Jayce was glancing between the two of you.
“I don’t understand,” Jayce admitted. “Who is Silco?”
“You will find out,” Viktor said, the statement sounding both threatening and utterly inevitable as he stood. “I must return to the lab. Jayce, I agree with whatever choice you make.”
You watched as Viktor leaned heavily on the cane and left the building. It was situated at the edge of Piltover, just across the bridge from the Undercity. Jayce had assured you multiple times that, if they were not working on time-sensitive experiments at HexTech, they would have been more than willing to meet you in the Undercity. He may have even been telling the truth.
Jayce was still half-smiling when he looked back at you. “Who is Silco?”
You got the impression that he would keep pushing until he got an answer, so you chose your words carefully. “He is a… major player in the Undercity. He wants- well, he says he’s working for the good of the people. That’s up for debate.”
“But what does he do?” Jayce pressed.
“He’s an industrialist.” You sat very straight on the edge of your chair - not quite standing, but giving the impression that you were ready to leave. “Speaking of helping the Undercity, I need to get back to the Haven. When you’ve made a decision about your outreach, please let me know.”
“Easy enough,” Jayce said, standing to offer a hand over the table. “HexTech would like to provide funding for the Haven, to be used in whatever way you think is appropriate.”
You were giddy with excitement, and it rushed through your veins like adrenaline. Somehow, you managed to keep a straight face long enough to thank Jayce and accept the check he filled out for the Haven. It was generous, which made your heart soar. You would be able to help so many people!
The good news put a spring in your step and you were still bouncing as you climbed the stairs to Silco’s office. Thankfully, no one was around so early in the day - you had serious doubts about your ability to look cranky and irritated right then, but you would have been obliged to put on a performance if there were onlookers.
“You seem cheerful,” Silco noted as you closed the door behind yourself.
“So far, so good,” you told him, walking over to his desk. “What’s the plan for today?”
He ignored your question. “Productive morning, I take it?”
“Very.”
You peered out through the window. The Last Drop was just barely tall enough for you to catch glimpses of the building projects happening over near the Haven. The mechanic’s shop was well on its way to being completed, the construction crews had broken ground on the second apartment building, and the grocers were taking over an existing building, so they were already in the process of hiring staff.
As you leaned back, you caught sight of a familiar handprint on the glass and your lower belly tightened with the reminder of how it had gotten there.
“And how much will HexTech be allotting you?”
With the casually conversational way Silco asked his question, you didn’t immediately notice that anything was wrong. Your attention was split between the handprint on the window and the ever-increasing needs of your body. At last, awareness filtered through and you froze.
‘I-” You cleared your throat, giving your best innocent expression as you turned to look at him. “What do you mean?”
Silco gave an impatient gesture. “Come, pet, we have already discussed that I know all that happens in Zaun.”
“Nothing happened in Zaun,” you said blandly.
His answering look was dry. “But a potential alliance between the Haven and HexTech undeniably concerns Zaun and her future. Do me the courtesy of assuming I know of your meeting with the two inventors behind HexTech.”
“Fine,” you agreed, largely because he gave no indication of moving on. “I met with the owners of HexTech.”
“Thank you,” Silco said, gaze drifting to the window. “And how much has young Talis decided to give the Haven?”
You paused, uncomfortable with the idea that you needed to place a boundary. You and Silco shouldn’t be close enough to need things like boundaries - the clear divisions between you should have been so obvious as to be implied. “I’m not sharing that information with you.”
“Why not?” he asked. “If I know the size of their donation, I can exceed it.”
“I don’t need any more donations at the moment,” you told him.
Silco’s brows unfurrowed. “Ah, that much? Congratulations. You may rest secure in the knowledge that the sale of your morals has fetched so high a price.”
You recoiled at the slight before you could stop yourself. A drug lord was going to lecture you about morals? That bothered you. Surely that was the cause of your discomfort. Any other reason would imply that Silco was important enough to you that his opinion mattered.
“I didn’t have to sacrifice my morals to accept their donation, unlike others the Haven has received in the past,” you told him icily.
Silco stood abruptly, his chair lurching back with the movement. You held your ground, though it took more effort than you were comfortable with. “My donations served your residents just as well as the ones from HexTech will, and at far more dire a time. Do not act as though I were not there to support you every time you have needed me.”
You gaped at that. “Because we’re in a deal! Every donation served you just as well as it did me - it increased your leverage over me and the Haven. Convenient, since you need me around for an easy source of sex.”
He scoffed, looming over you. “Do you truly believe that there are not others who throw themselves at my feet? I receive more offers of easy sex than you would believe possible.”
“Then why keep me around?” you pressed.
“Because you are the only one who offers the slightest hint of a challenge!” he snapped, breathing heavily. You had stepped into him rather than away, and he was already so close that your chest and his were nearly touching. You glared at each other from inches away before one or both of you closed the gap separating you.
His mouth was hard and unyielding against yours, disinterested in any hint of refusal. Fortunately, refusing his kiss was the last thing on your mind. The energy of securing the HexTech donation was still crackling through you, and sex was a wonderful outlet. The slight tinge of irritation accompanying it only served to increase the appeal.
You met him with lips that were already slightly parted, and your tongues were dueling in a moment. Kissing Silco wasn’t entirely unfamiliar to you, but it was still rare enough that you considered it a novel experience.
Your toes were curling at the slow luxury of his mouth on yours. Silco was rarely in a hurry, even now, when you were apparently taking a break in the middle of a fight. Your interest was only piqued further when he started removing your clothing with rough movements. When he had finished, he pushed you backward as you gasped with shock.
Fortunately, Silco had thought far enough ahead to position you close to his desk. The sensation of your bare ass on the cold surface of the desk was jarring, but you watched Silco eagerly. You were more than willing to brave the temperature difference in order to watch him undress for you.
To your surprise, Silco lowered himself, fully-dressed, into his throne-like chair. You eyed him, frowning as he took your ankles in his hands. They were placed to either side of his chair, leaving them supported by the arm rests at his sides. It went without saying that your knees were forced open by the position, leaving your core exposed to the air… and to Silco’s gaze.
That mismatched stare was fixed between your legs, studying the most private parts of you as you tried not to squirm. When he reached out to touch your cunt, you felt his fingertips like electric shocks… but he only parted your folds and continued his silent observation.
Irritation, embarrassment, and need swirled together in you until the pressure pushed words from your mouth. “Silco. What are you doing?”
“Studying my favorite acquisition,” he replied distantly. Even lost in your own distraction, you could feel the echo of your first time together, in this very situation in this very office, when Silco had said something similar. “And wondering how my pet can be so very unyielding, yet yield so delightfully in other areas.”
You frowned at him - not that Silco was looking at your face. “Whatever answers you’re looking for, you aren’t going to find them down there.”
That made him glance upward, a small smile playing around the corner of his mouth. “Perhaps it would be best if you lay back.”
You complied, though not without rolling your eyes. “If we’re having a repeat of our first session, I hope the sex is more satisfactor- Oh!”
Without any sort of warning, Silco’s mouth had closed around your clit. You half-lifted back off the surface of his desk, staring down at his face between your legs. You could only hope that your expression was less desperate than you felt, but wicked pleasure filled Silco’s gray-green eye, so you didn’t think that was accurate.
And then he set about making you forget all about expressions and irritations. Silco buried himself between your thighs, teasing you with fingers and lips and tongue and teeth. He nibbled, he stroked, he thrust… He used every hint of weakness he had gathered from you over your time together, recalling every sensation that drove you wild and subjecting you to all of them at once.
You arched up off the desk so sharply that the muscles in your back and abdomen protested. Your knees tried to close around Silco - either to keep him close or to force him away from you, you weren’t sure which - but his shoulders kept you spread open and subjected to his torment.
By the time he had pressed three fingers deep inside of you, your body was glistening with sweat. You were panting, your hips trying to both ride him and grind closer to the lips that were wrapped around your clit.
Silco always ate you like he was trying to ruin you for anyone else, but this was more intense than anything you had experienced with him before. You didn’t remember when you had sank your hands into his hair, but it didn’t matter. You were using him only as an anchor; he never moved far enough away for you to need to pull him back.
At last, he removed himself from you, pulling away almost entirely. The only parts of his body that was touching you were his shoulders, still holding you spread open for him.
“Silco?” you asked, an edge of desperation clear in your voice.
“Shh, pet,” he soothed. “I am trying to decide whether you deserve the reward of coming on my tongue.”
You whined, lifting your hips as if you could convince him to come back.
“I am less than thrilled by your association with the Piltover business,” Silco admitted slowly. Torturously slowly. “Yet I suppose you may have earned a treat for coming to meet with me anyway. Is that correct?”
You nodded.
Silco leaned slightly closer. “You would not break our deal over a single donation from another business, would you?”
You shook your head.
Silco came even closer then - still not touching you, but near enough that you could feel every exhale on your damp folds. “Does our deal still stand, pet?”
You nodded, but Silco shook his head. “I need to hear it in that lovely voice. Tell me, darling: does our deal still stand?”
“Y-yes,” you stammered, the dryness in your throat making it difficult to speak. “Yes!”
“Ahh…” he mused. “How long will it stand?”
He watched you with a gaze so sharp you understood instinctively that he would only accept a spoken answer. This one was more challenging; he hadn’t told you what he wanted you to say and thinking was difficult when your brain was soaked in hormones and arousal.
“Until- ah!” Silco had darted a long lick up your folds - not touching anything firmly enough to throw you over the edge, but still startling. And distracting. “As long as I’m in the Undercity.”
“Our deal will stand as long as you are in the Undercity,” Silco repeated. You nodded and he looked thoughtful. “I suppose I must offer sufficient incentive for you to stay, then.”
As if the shock of it removed you from the situation, you noted it dispassionately as he parted you a little more, nestled his nose against your clit, and thrust his stiffened tongue up inside of your heat.
And then the moment of observation passed. You were thrown back into your body just in time for it to go through an earth-shattering orgasm. Your body arced up off the desk again, muscles spasming so hard that you had the vague sense of Silco holding your hips against the surface so you didn’t throw yourself onto the floor.
But that was a dim knowledge, far in the background of your thoughts - the vast majority of your brain was caught in a stranglehold of pleasure. How could you be expected to lay still when every bit of you was crackling with such intense energy? You had to move. It was not possible to do anything else.
At last, Silco removed the live current that was his mouth against your core. He had to struggle against the grip you had on his hair. You weren’t really trying to keep him in place, but your muscles had locked down in the aftermath of your orgasm.
“How do you feel?” he asked conversationally, when he had freed himself from your grip, losing a few strands of hair in the process.
“Nnn umm…” Nope, those weren’t words. You tried again. “Needum mint.”
“Take your time,” Silco invited, relaxing back into his chair. He licked his lips, cleaning the shine of you from them with his tongue. Watching the process made your uncomfortably sensitive body tighten, but you couldn’t tear your gaze away. When he had licked everything he could reach, Silco retrieved a handkerchief and wiped his mouth, chin, and cheeks.
If you were capable of higher thought at the moment, you might have been embarrassed by how much of a mess you had made on Silco’s face. Fortunately, the brain fog was still too dense, and you just watched him vacantly.
Rather than rush you into another round, Silco snagged a piece of paper from beside your hip. He lifted it and started to read. From the light that filtered through it from the window behind him, you could see that there were schematics of some kind drawn on the page. They were highly detailed, but something about the writing looked young, like it had been done by someone without fully developed fine motor function.
And then Silco’s fingers wrapped around your ankle and you stopped thinking about anything else. Especially when those fingers began to play idly against your skin, tapping an unfamiliar rhythm on your anklebone.
“How much more reading do you need to do?” you gritted out at last.
Silco glanced up at you instantly, eyebrows raised. “I can stop at any time, pet. I was under the impression that you needed a moment to recover.”
“I have recovered.”
“Why did you not tell me immediately?” Silco asked.
Despite the censurious words, he lazily tucked the schematics into a desk drawer before he stood. In a moment, he had opened the front of his trousers, pushed aside the layers of fabric, and lined himself up with you.
There was something almost sweet about the fact that Silco was so hard. He had brought you pleasure without being touched in return, and yet his erection hadn’t flagged while he sat quietly reading for minutes. For all that he was a selfish, manipulative bastard, Silco was surprisingly impacted by the way he affected you.
Any hints of altruism were shoved aside as Silco plunged inside of you. Rather than hesitating or asking if you were ready, he surged powerfully forward until he was seated as deep inside you as he could be. Your hips shifted to accommodate him and your legs trembled against the arms of his chair as you struggled to surface against the pressure of him stretching your walls.
Silco’s hands were tight on you. One was wrapped around your hips, providing an anchor point as he began to thrust in and out of you. His other hand was firmly on your ass, half-lifting and half-squeezing as he rolled his hips against you.
That rolling motion made your lips part for air as you stared up at the ceiling. Silco was big enough to fill you, but something about that motion put pressure against your walls in a way that felt almost cyclical. It was like he was fucking a little circle inside of you every time he pushed in, which meant that you got intermittent pressure against your g-spot. It was magical.
You tried to lift against him, to counter-thrust and speed things up, but Silco wasn’t having it. His grip was firm enough to hold you utterly still, making sure that all you could do was experience the way he was taking you apart for a second time.
“Silco, please,” you gasped out. “Faster. Harder. Please.”
“No,” he denied simply. Silco’s hand momentarily released your hip to grab your wrist instead. He tugged it downward until your fingers were brushing the throbbing place between your legs. “If you want your pleasure, you’ll have to take it.”
You were tempted to deny him and yourself, if only to prove that he wasn’t in charge of you, but the slight graze of your fingertip over your own clit made you squirm. But if you were going to be responsible for your own orgasm, you were damn well going to make sure that Silco helped.
With some effort, you lifted your legs from where they were still resting on the armrests of Silco’s chair. It took only a moment to wrap them around his waist, and when you tightened them, the pull was strong enough to force Silco forward against you.
When he had bottomed out inside of you, Silco’s grip shifted upward, pressing against the surface of the desk on either side of your hips to support the shift in his center of balance. His eyes widened, startled as you kept him close. You used your newfound freedom to thrust your hips, moving him and out of your core as you strummed at your clit.
The resulting sensations were enough to take you sailing over the edge again. This orgasm was less abrupt than the last one, but almost more satisfying because your inner muscles had something to lock down around.
Dimly, you registered that Silco was trying to withdraw from you, but couldn’t escape the grip of your leg muscles. You only understood his reasoning when his body stiffened, face tightening and growing slack as he reached his own peak.
Silco’s orgasms tended to be subtler than yours, but even his legendary poker face failed him. His expression tightened, then went slack as his body spasmed in a series of explosive surges. He hissed out a curse that sounded like half a prayer, his lips continuing to move long after he had stopped speaking loud enough for you to hear it.
Slowly, you let the tension seep from your leg muscles. When your feet were dangling toward the floor once more, Silco eased himself out of you. The first spill of your combined mess seeped directly onto the surface of Silco’s desk, but he cleaned it up and caught the next with the same cloth he had used to wipe his face earlier.
When Silco was seated in his chair once more, you took the cloth and held it in place as you slid down from the desk. Silco smiled wryly. “I never intend to make such a mess, but you are irresistible. Especially when you’ve wrapped me in those lovely legs. If I must be trapped, I will say that I prefer to be trapped in your embrace.”
“Flatterer,” you accused gently.
“It is a lovely benefit when the truth is flattering,” he replied, giving you a look you didn’t quite understand… until he added, “Now, pet, tell me how much I should write for the amount of my next donation check.”
You turned toward him with an irritated huff. “Are you still talking about this? I don’t need an extra donation from you, especially not when your motivation is simply to outdo someone you consider a threat.”
Silco’s lip curled. “I hardly consider those two boys to be a threat.”
“Then what is your problem with them supporting the Haven?”
“I dislike the idea of Piltover gaining a foothold here in Zaun,” Silco explained after a moment of thought. “Even if their influence is only over a small outreach. It could hinder the growth of Zaun’s independence.”
You bit back the irritation that rose at the Haven being referred to as a small outreach. It was a small outreach, of course, but it was so important in your life. It hurt to be reminded that your work was considered minor to other people.
“Fine,” you said instead of telling him any of that. “What are our options? I’m not telling you how much they donated.”
“Very well,” Silco said tightly. By all appearances, he was displeased with your insistence, but something about the look in his mismatched gaze gave you the distinct impression that he was getting something he had been angling for all day. “If you will not allow me to match HexTech’s donation amount, I would be willing to overlook their involvement in the Haven…”
“And what will it cost me?”
“I want to be part of the Undercity Innovation Committee.”
It took a beat for you to remember what that was. “Jazper’s group? No. Absolutely not.”
Silco watched you in silence. His brow creased and it was like watching a far-away storm building into something catastrophic.
“I have no control over that,” you expanded. “I can’t risk everything I’ve built - I can’t risk the Haven - to argue for you being part of the meetings.”
“And I would never ask you to,” Silco assured you smoothly. “I have other resources at play. All I need from you is not to argue against me being on the committee.”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “So you don’t need me to fight for you? Just don’t tell them not to let you join?”
“Yes.”
It seemed simple. Almost too simple. And yet… it had been a long day. You could use some simplicity. “Fine, I agree to those terms. If someone else brings up the possibility of letting you join the committee, I won’t argue against it.”
“Perfect.” Silco took the end of your conversation as an opportunity to refasten his clothing, so you started to get dressed as well.
By the time you had finished, Silco was holding out a slip of paper toward you. You looked from it to his face, unwilling to accept an unknown item from him. He continued to offer it anyway.
“If I understand, your objections were not to me making a donation, but to me trying to make a larger donation than HexTech,” Silco explained. “I do not know how much they donated, but here is my offer.”
“Silco…” you lamented, arms still folded across your chest.
He lifted a brow. “If you prefer, I could resume trying to discover the HexTech donation amount…”
You sighed loudly so there could be no mistaking your irritation as you snatched the check from his hand. You didn’t look at the amount, but the way Silco grinned as you shoved it into your pocket didn’t seem promising.

Idk who needs to hear this, but in the event Jinx and Viktor do partner up, Jinx is the more normal one of the two. Imo people in Zaun LIKE Jinx better than Viktor. Viktor's association with Jinx alone is damage control for his reputation.
If you think about it for even 10 seconds, you'd see how Viktor is just an offputting dude. Yeah Jinx has volatile outbursts of destruction, but that's concentrated at specific people and at Piltover. Jinx isn't out here performing strange feats of blood magic that turns innocent bystanders (Sky) to dust. Jinx dealing with hextech recognizes it's dangerous (it connects to the realm of Heebie Jeebies) and is hesitant with it. Viktor knows he doesn't know what he's doing and just keeps going. That's worse, that's so much more dangerous.
You could say that Viktor's well-meaning and eventually develops a cult following from it. But one, Jinx has a cult too, and it's more successful (they steal real estate). Two, Viktor's time in Piltover has really skewed what needs to be done. At best, as a part of the hextech duo, Viktor might have improved workplace safety with his inventions, maybe, but not really. He wants to help Zaun, but he's lost the plot in the frenzy of Piltover's trade expansion.
Ironically, Jinx almost certainly has a better handle on understanding Zaun's politics and issues than Viktor ever did. Jinx spent her formative years at the top of Zaun's hierarchy while being raised by the defacto kingpen/political leader and actively enforced Silco's regime as well. So Jinx knows who and what's up in Zaun because she kind of made it happen, lol.
Tldr: Between Viktor and Jinx, Jinx is the more charismatic and likable figure to Zaunites. Take a step back and notice how Viktor is an extra level of weird compared to Jinx.

I was thinking of a request involving lipstick kiss stains? I find that shit adorable
I made it slightly less adorable by making it a wee bit angsty whoops (if anyone wants it I might write more)

Viktor x fem!Reader (18+)
-When Viktor wakes that morning, it’s not to the sound of his alarm, like he had expected.
-No, instead of an incessant bell ringing in his ears, startling him out of sleep so badly that he nearly flies off the bed, he…wakes slowly. The world is muffled around him, warm and hazy, a little patch of sun creeping through the drawn blinds to slowly toast him.
-And the more he rouses, the more he hears. A distant chirping of birds, the din of the city dulled by a closed window. And, of course, the slow, shallow breathing of another person beside him.
-The weight of an arm thrown across his waist.
-It takes him a couple seconds to remember last nights’ events, worrying for a brief moment that he might have brought a stranger home in some kind of drunken haze. But…he hadn’t.
-He’d brought you home.
-His dazzling assistant, so hardworking and kind - efficient in all the work you do and always coming up with the simplest solutions to the most complicated problems. You’ve been an absolute gift to have around the lab, from doing menial tasks like copying notes or fetching lunch, all the way to outright helping design and build HexTech experiments.
-And he’d brought you home with him.
-He’d been entirely lost the prior evening, out of place among the groups of rich patrons and sponsors. Jayce had wanted him there, to help him feel out which families they might be able to get funding from, but…it had been somewhat of a disaster.
-Despite him being one half of HexTech’s creators, no one paid him any mind: he usually preferred it that way. He could work easier if he wasn’t always worrying about what other people thought of him. But he was entirely useless to his partner in such a form, and he had promised that he’d stay for the duration of the event.
-He figured if he couldn’t leave, he might as well indulge himself.
-You’d found him about an hour into the party, after you’d shown up fashionably late. You were a bit like him, in the sense that you weren’t drawn to a crowd - you weren’t a natural at public speaking, even though you were good at it. You didn’t know every social rule and faux pas that would allow you to easily navigate and manipulate the general population.
-He’d been three sheets to the wind when you’d located him and promptly sat down beside him. Happily whispering that you were happy he’d come, because now you had someone to spend the time with.
-He doesn’t remember much after that. You’d tried to convince him to switch to water instead of alcohol, but in the end he’d turned the tables on you. It hadn’t taken much pressing, if any at all - he’d only so much as mentioned a lime shot and you’d requested one, wanting to try it for yourself.
-And then you’d…you’d…
-He frowns a bit, staring up at the ceiling. He can’t quite remember - not entirely.
-He recalls being on a balcony at one point, laughing harder than he had in years. Leaning against you while the two of you whispered to each other and made a general ruckus.
-He remembers leaving the party…or perhaps getting kicked out? He’s not sure. But he remembers stumbling waywardly forwards, leaning heavily on both you and his cane, while you attempted to steer the two of you towards your apartment.
-It was some kind of miracle that the two of you hadn’t fallen headfirst into something.
-And then he remembers the smell of your home, when he first stumbled in through the door. The distant scent of spices commonly used in cooking, rich and hearty and pleasant.
-And after that….
-There are only flashes of memory - still images ingrained in his mind.
-The feeling of his lips on yours. The squish of your hips beneath his fingertips.
-And you, dropping to your knees in front of him. The delicious picture of your soft, blood-red lips wrapped around his cock. He remembers swaying into your bedroom, pulling you down onto the mattress with him, the both of you giggling madly while your mouths found each others’ again and again.
-And oh, the sounds you’d made. The way you’d squeezed around him, hot and wet and begging him to fuck you deeper. And him, whispering sweet words to you, in a tongue you didn’t understand.
-Telling you how beautiful you were, how good you were for him, how all he’s ever wanted was you. “Miluji tě,” he’d groaned, as you’d both found your release.
-Miluji tě.
-I love you.
-You hadn’t known the significance of those words, when he’d uttered them. And even more than that, you didn’t understand how wholly and truly he’d meant them.
-He extracts himself from your grip very slowly, making sure to stay carefully quiet as to not wake you. He was probably the last person you wanted to see so early in the morning - your boss, whom you’d gotten drunk with the night before and then enthusiastically slept with.
-He pulls on his clothing from last night, buttoning everything as hastily as he can without alerting you to his presence. You stir a couple of times, sighing in your sleep or rolling over, but never once do your eyes open. Never once does he have to shamefully explain to you why he was still there.
-He casts one more longing glance at you, willing the image to stay in his mind forever - of you, sleeping peacefully, with your mussed hair and perfect, relaxed face, your lips smooshed into the barest of pouts.
-And then, silent as ever, he sneaks out of your home and begins the journey back to his own. He garners a couple of stares on the trek, but he pays them no mind - he must be a sight, after all. Unkempt and messy, so very obviously returning from an evening of something regretful.
-He doesn’t regret it.
-Even when he gets home, and realizes why he’d gotten so many stares and little smiles, he doesn’t regret it.
-He could never regret the way your lipstick stains his throat and the collar of his shirt.

it's so cruel of them to show viktor and jayce becoming science partners, “our hextech dream,” first and then a scene later show vander and silco, the latter saying they shared a purpose and wanted the same thing. sickening. awful. nice foreshadowing, tho.

In one the AMA with the writers from Arcane (I think it was Christian Linke but I'm not sure), said that one of the keys to building their characters respective narrative arcs was to "forcing them to make an impossible choice between two things they can't sacrifice" (for example, Silco having to pick between Jinx and Zaun; Marcus choice between protecting his daughter and keeping the peace between the cities vs exposing himself; Vi between Cait and Jinx)
Makes me wonder, what is going to be the "impossible choice" for Viktor and Jayce next season? 🤔🤔
Ouch, this one’s gunna hurt… (TW suicide mention)
I think Viktor kinda sorta already faced it. Or the beginning of it, anyway. The first choice—to die. To give up fighting. To lose everything. To leave this world before he made a mark on it, helped the people he set out to help. Or to survive his terminal illness, take back control, but with the knowledge that he cost Sky her life, and in so doing made the one critical error he never meant to make. To quote Heimerdinger himself, “no great science should ever put lives in danger.” He would always know that, in order to live, he had to sacrifice the very foundation of who he is—“to improve lives, not to take them.”
And we saw him choose option 3. Death, on his own terms. But Jayce stopped him, and I think it’s only going to lead to more destruction of Viktor’s psyche. He’s going to lose everything, possibly be banished by his lover only friend. And I think the ensuing rage and grief will swing him to choose the other option; life, on his own terms. Life that makes him sacrifice who he is. But at that point, I think he’s going to realize that who he was… is already dead. He already lost everything. So taking that final step toward becoming the Machine Herald won’t even be a hard one.
And as for Jayce, I really do think it’s going to revolve around Viktor. What Viktor did will likely come to light—his self-experimentation (which I foresee them calling ‘mutilation’), drug smuggling, and the subsequent killing of Sky. It’s a violation of their ethos, and in the wake of Jinx’s attack, what remains of the council will want their pound of flesh. And I’m assuming Jayce will still be the de-facto head of the council, so it’ll all come down to him.
I don’t think Piltover has a death penalty… so the options will likely be Stillwater Prison or banishment. But Viktor has a lot of knowledge of Hextech, knowledge that I foresee the council wanting to keep out of Zaun. So they will all lean for Stillwater. But Jayce still cares about Viktor, he understands why he did what he did, even if he doesn’t condone it. He wants to protect Viktor, wants to give him a chance. And this leaves him with an impossible choice—send his lover partner to Stillwater Prison, where he will suffer before eventually dying in there, locked away and all alone. Or… banishment. Equally grim, but Zaun is resourceful, they have Chemtech and body mods… maybe someone can help him, maybe someone can save him.
So he banishes his lover best friend.
But I do have a theory on this—Viktor will know how this judgement is going to play out long before the verdict. He knows the council, and… he knows Jayce. He’s seen how Jayce bends to them, how he allows himself to be cowed and corrupted by the pressure. And unfortunately, he’s seen how wrong he was to think “Jayce will understand.”
So he will probably sneak into the lab, steal the Hexclaw and the Hexcore, and leave for Zaun of his own volition. If he can’t trust his partner and lover best friend, then he can trust only one person. Himself.

Distracting: Part 5
Tumblr media
The Sun Chaser: An annual, 24 hour work day in the lab, used to catch up on any missed work time from the past year..and this is your first year joining Viktor and Jayce for it..armed with an ungodly amount of caffeine, excitement for time with his lab partners, and a crippling sense of shame for his newly found intimate thoughts of you, Viktor will try and make it through an entire day without thinking of you in that way again..at least not with you realizing..
Wordcount: 3,366
WARNINGS: Alcohol, mention of sexual acts, but mostly fluff and light flirting so have fun! part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4
After another long shower, the third one that night, washing, rewashing, trying to scrub away any of shame that still coated the extent of his being. It had soaked far below his skin however, and had settled somewhere in his stomach, somewhere he couldn't run over with a loofa. But he would be damned if he didn't try. He stood in the kitchen, towel wrapped around his shoulders as he poked at some over cooked eggs on his plate, making every attempt to eat them as fast as possible after they had made a particularly squishy sound, and only further added to his shame. Oh that awful noise,
“Viktor, are you crying over your eggs?” Jayce asked, leaning on the counter edge, successfully getting Viktors attention as he had been hunched over, head in his hands for about five minutes at this point.
“What? No..just thinking” Viktor replied..in all fairness it was not a lie. He wished it was, because honestly not thinking right about now would probably save what was left of his sanity. He glanced at Jayce, taking what he realized was a coffee being offered to him, an offering he eagerly consumed, hoping it would jolt his brain into working order.
“Are you getting excited?” “For what?” “The Sun Chaser..” Jayce spoke the words like it was a legend, and in a way, it was.
The Sun Chaser, an annual tradition in The Hextech Lab. It was one, twenty-four hour work day, no sleep, non-stop make-up day, to push themselves ahead just a little bit and catch up on any work time lost over the last year. It was a night filled with workshopping, junk food, drinks..an ungodly and probably severely unhealthy amount of caffeine. But it was one of the pair's favorite nights of the year. The mixture of constant work, and sleep deprivation always made for a good time, lots of bonding, not to mention many many hours of laughing at jokes that probably aren't actually very funny.
“The Sun Chaser? Is that tonight?”
“Tomorrow, we have to prep Vik” Jayce chuckled, patting his shoulder and shaking Viktor a bit. “So you should get dressed, we need to go shopping. Here I made the list for this year,” Viktor glanced at Jayce, who held out a small folded paper, which he promptly plucked from his hand. He hummed to himself as he unfolded the paper, glancing over it for a little sneak peak into tomorrow's events. “Energy drinks, instant coffee, pastries, sweet milk,” he sighed constantly, already excited for that last item. “Booze, lemon juice..salt..what is all this extra stuff Jayce? Why would we need booze, a-and lemon juice?” “Oh,” Jayce blinked, uttering your name under his breath. “Yes..what abo-” Viktors sentence stopped in his throat..of course. You will be there tomorrow too. Of course you would, how on earth did he forget, “And..they asked for this? Why?” “Why said something about how booze would be fun as it got later, lemon for a chaser, and salt for before.” “They want to do shots?” “Sounds like it..oooo maybe they want to try body shots-” Viktor was quick to stop that idea, with a swift hard kick to Jayces leg. “OW!” Jayce howled out, quickly following it with a loud laugh as he saw that Viktor was now covering his head, shielding his entire upper body against the counter top.
“Oh this is going to be the best year yet!” Jayce cheered, shaking Viktor hard  by the shoulders with a loud huff of excitement.
The clock rang twelve o'clock, and with it Jayce banged an obnoxious fake gong with a loud howl into the empty lab, you followed suit with your own, egging Viktor join in as well before you all took one long sip from individual mugs of coffee. The usual starting ritual for this thing, with one extra person this time around. “Hell yeah! Let's do this!” You call, quickly rushing to your notes and starting immediately, Viktor laughed, watching as you scattered away and quickly began his own work. A very pleasant beginning to the Sun Chaser.
Five hours in,
“Viktor! Viktor, can you come help me with something?” You asked, holding together two wires, observing how they resulted in a small spark. You heard the familiar click of Viktors cane against the floor before you felt the warm sensation of his body leaned over your shoulder looking down at your work. “What is it?” He asked, glancing down at your current project. You turn to meet his gaze, finding him much closer than you already had expected. He met your gaze, about half an inch between yourselves. Your cheeks grow warm, your mind stalling a little in its tracks as you watch his face stare back, maybe a little more surprised than you. He cleared his throat, catching your attention away from where it had settled on his lips. You flicker your gaze back to the device you have noticed was now smoking just a little from the unstable wires touching. “Oh shit..” You mutter, ceasing the connection. From next to your ear you hear the familiar sound of Viktors chuckle, right before he reaches over into the device.
“I see..You need me to hold these while you weld them together?” He assumed, but you again were not paying any attention, your mind a bit foggy from the smell of Viktors collogne wafting off of him. “Yes..” You whisper, finding yourself out of breath. You try again, inhaling and rephrasing the reply “Yes, you need to hold them for me okay? D-don't get burnt alright?” You remind him. And again you fight away a shiver when you can feel his chest rumble with laughter behind you.
Needless to say it took about ten minutes to finish the melding of the wire, all the while Jayce sat back in his chair, watching you with a familiar smirk. “Cute..” He muttered to himself, writing down a note in a little black notebook.
Nine hours in
You were eating your dinner quietly, a moment of shared silence while you took a much needed break. Viktor had taken liberties with the word “break”, hence why he was currently jotting down a theory he had in an almost full book of notes. But then the slightest movement caught his eye. He turned his head to look toward you, catching the tail end of your shiver.
He watched as you brought your hands up to your bare arms, rubbing them for some needed friction, the slightest bit of warmth. And before he could think too much about it he walks over, coat in hand before tapping your shoulder,
“Are you cold, děcko?” he asked, putting a hand on the back of your chair. You barely lift your head from your food to give him a little groan, rubbing your arms a little more furiously. “It's cold..” You reply quietly, resulting in a soft smile from  Viktor. He nudged you with his coat, offering it to you,
“Here, until the heat comes on '' he said quietly, handing you the coat which to your credit, you stole away faster than he expected. In nearly half a minute you stood in front of him, hugging the coat around your form. It fit around you rather well in all honesty..but god this was a mistake.
Your body was perfectly tucked within something of his..he could feel his stomach tightening. And with the length of the fabric, it almost looked like you were not wearing anything under it- he needed to walk away. And so without a word, he walked away, very fast, to the bathroom, leaving you to settle back into your chair with a new found sense of warmth. Meanwhile, Viktor took the next fifteen minutes to try and cool down in the locked bathroom. Fifteen hours in
“Okay, okay, best shitty pick up line go!” You were all sitting around, about two shots in each. Jayce pointed to you first, “Go go go!” he chanted, watching as you chased your shot with an energy drink. You coughed a bit, tapping your chin as you tried to pick one, “OOOh I have it ok..” You turn to face Viktor, giving him a lightly goofy smirk, one you couldn't hold without giggling, “hey Vik..are you a triangle? Because, you would be acute one,”“What?” Viktor chuckled, watching as you nearly lost your mind giggling, leaning back against the floor as he began to mirror your giggles, “That..truly was terrible.” He sighed, sipping his drink and leaning back against his hands and watching as you began to wildly gesture to Jayce,“Ok now you! You go!” Jayce jumped at the idea, and quickly grabbed Viktor by the shoulder to get his attention, “Viktoooor..” Vik lazily turned his face toward his lab partner, raising an eyebrow inquisitively. “Do you have a bandage?” “No..why Jayce?” “Because I scraped my knee..falling for you~” Jayce cooed, leaning closer and swiftly giving Vik a kiss on the forehead before he pulled away, the three of you all bursting into tired laughter. Viktor took a brief moment, watching as you held your aching stomach, your hair splayed out on the ground around you like a halo..he couldn't begin to think about how pretty you were before Jayce caught his attention again. “Ok, Viktor..your turn. Best, shitty pick up line..go”  Viktor blinked, trying to filter through any he had heard, at this point his memory was a little foggy, and now with booze in his body, he was having a harder time thinking of any he would consider particularly"shitty ".He grabbed hold of your forearm, with a little effort, hoisting you back up into a sitting position. You snickered lightly, leaning closer as he kept a firm hold on your arm, gazing into your eyes with a passion that had your belly fluttering. “You look familiar..did we have class together?” He asked, his accent thick and breath smelling of the rum you had been sharing. You give one soft chuckle, tilting your head in prep for the rest of this surely crappy punny joke, “Because I swear..” He leaned a little closer, your nose scrunched..but you didn't pull away, “we had chemistry.” He hummed, drawing out the end of the word a little and leaning close enough that your noses brushed briefly, right before he pulled back. You felt your cheeks burn, and you stared forward at him as he took a leisure sip of his mostly empty drink. His gaze flickered off you, toward Jayce who groaned loudly, “BOOOOOOOO!” “What?” “BOO that was gold, I said shitty!” Jayce protested, sending you to his side of the argument, “Yeah that was so good! BOO!” Viktor laughed, putting his hands up to defend when you tossed an empty can toward him, weak enough that it just bounced off him. Jayce watched as you both continued your little scuffle, a few kitten bats here and there as you debated what exactly made a pick up line, a good one. He quietly jotted down another little note, smiling softly to himself when he caught You and Viktor leaned over, laughing toward each other, your hand using his shoulder to support yourself.
Twenty hours in
Viktor was so exhausted at this point. His mind was barely functioning at this point, so he was working on auto-pilot, which meant only his hands and eyes worked in full. That's probably why when you asked him if he had an extra screw, he didn't respond in english..not fully. It was a mix of his mother tongue and a few english words half slurred in there. “What?” you giggle, leaning closer. He lazily leaned sideways to hear you better, “Hm? jenom chvilku..I will..” He sputtered off after that. You chuckle slightly, stealing some of his empty cans of soda away so you could sit closer on the desk. “Jenom..” You try to repeat. Viktors brain gets the little spark it needs, one that brings a little more consciousness to him and he turns to look at you, still tucked in his sweater and leaning a few inches away from touching him. “What was that?” He asked, putting a hand on your head to keep it from laying on his shoulder..at this rate he knew it would completely turn his brain off if he could smell your hair. “I'm trying to speak your language. You sometimes mutter under your breath while you're working, and it always sounds really pretty.” “Well, your accent is atrocious..” He chuckles, resting his cheek against his hand as he watches you mirror his posture again..it was becoming one of his favorite of your habits. “You need to stop enunciating so harshly..Jenom. Chvilku” He purred, saying the words slowly for you to repeat. “Jenom chvilku,” you chuckle, trying to mimic his accent. “What does that mean? Does it mean something pretty?” Viktor shakes his head slowly, his smile plastered on his face as he watches you exhausted form slump over the desk, “It means ‘just a moment’,” he replied, “something pretty would be ‘něco hezkého’, if you meant that literally” “I didn’t, but that still sounded nice” you mutter, smiling toward him. At this point the sun had risen again, but Viktor in his ever nocturnal nature had drawn the curtains, allowing for the softest golden glow to invade the lab. The gold color played well of Viktors features, his chiseled cheekbones glowing lighty, and his eyes almost the color of the lighting..it was warm and soft, sending a buzzing feeling into your chest. One you were only partly aware of how mutual the feeling was. “Do you want me to keep talking?” He asked, bringing his hands back to his work. His gaze flicked between yours and and his project,“Yes please,,” You mutter, resting your head on your folded arms, watching as he fiddles with the machine, letting his voice filter through your brain and numbing it beautifully.
Twenty-four hours in
You were out. Your head was heavy against the desk, your chest rising and falling in a calming rhythm, one that Viktor had been observing for the past hour. A full day of working had passed, just about, and he had finished all he needed too, even fixing one or two of your projects up for you after you had fallen asleep. Jayce was sprawled out on the couch, watching the clock and trying to finish his calculations. Though he had made sure to keep check on you and vik as he worked. Viktor was slumped over the desk, watching you sleep lazily, a dumb smile on his face as he fiddled quietly with your relaxed hand still laid out on the desk. He was gentle..simply fluttering your fingertips under his, experimentally brushing them against your palm from time to time. Your skin was soft, and while your cheek was flushed with exhaustion, all he could do was focus on how lovely you looked. The sun had snuck its way into the lab, and dotted along the desk, warming your skin and highlighting the shine in your hair. It was bliss, the kind that had him humming a little song from his home, imagining that he was singing to keep you asleep. It was a brief moment, a perfect ending to the long day in his humble, love sick, opinion.“Watches her sleep..” Jayce muttered, scratching down the note in his book. Viktor raised his head, swiveling it toward his lab partner to see him jotting down something again.“What? What are you doing?” “Adding to my list,” Jayce replied simply, giving Viktor an innocent look..one Vik was able to see past instantly. “What list..” He muttered, standing and taking a firm hold on his cane as he limped closer. Jayce chuckled, hiding away the contents of the notebook like a teen girl hid her diary, “It's private! Kinda, if you still wanna play the clueless act” He laughed, leaning away as Viktor went in to snatch it from him eagerly. The boys played this game for a few minutes, one minute Jayce offering the book, before pulling it away again and adding to an ever more impatient Viktor, who was now too curious to let something like this go. “You have been writing in this thing for the whole day-” “I've been writing in it way longer than that,” “How long?” “I don't know, a few months?” Jayce shrugged, trying to do the math with what little was left in his tired brain, that is when Viktor was able to steal away the notes, snatching them and leaning away from a weak attempt to get them back. He flicked open the small book, reading the first few lines, “What could you possibly be taking note of? ‘Pointed out a bruise on their thigh’, ‘fixed his hair’, Jayce what is thi-” Viktor lost his words half way through, his tongue feeling heavy as his overworked head began to place memories together..notes..he was nothing interacts between you two? Why? How many things have been written down? His eyes widened, ‘spent the entire party staring at them, and then stole a champagne glass they used’. His cheeks flushed, a mix of rage and embarrassment filling his exhausted body almost enough to spill over and lash out if his weak body would allow it. “Y..you have been taking notes? Why?”
“Research..thought you would wanna keep track of each little detail for later” “Jayce this is improper! Taking notes on my interactions?” “Theirs too,” Jayce corrected, watching as Viktor gave him a confused look, he pointed to the index on the first page, “Red is interactions you initiated, blue is when they initiated”
Vik looked  at the pages, flicking through them quickly and indeed..seeing a mix of red and blue scrawled across the pages expances. He took a brief moment to read over some, ‘Stared at Viktor while he tested the Hexclaw’, ‘Asked if Viktor liked milk in his tea’ His cheeks flushed lightly, flicking through a few more pages before the pair heard you stirring at the desk.
Your head felt heavy, like it was full of rocks. Not only that, but your ears rung, as your eyes watered in protest of your current consciousness. It was not a good idea to be awake right now, however you had found that a desk was not a comfortable place to rest, despite how cozy Viktor seemed to make it look.
“Guys..? Is it over? Did we do it?” you ask, turning your head to look at your lab partners. You for a brief moment can't make out what is happening, seeing only a blur as Jayce struggles to his feet, and Viktor hurries to put his hand in his pocket. When your vision clears, you see them looking at you, a little too surprised for your liking. “What..?”
“Uh..nothing! Nothing! Just..packing up” Viktor barks out, rushing to grab the things still left on his desk. Jayce follows suit, packing his bag at a speed that leaves you trying to catch up,
“OH!” Jayce suddenly pipes up, interrupting as you try to wrestle your notebook into your bag, “You're still sleeping over at our place today right?” He asked. Viktor froze..his hands stalling over the zipper on his satchel as his mind tried to double check what he was hearing. ‘Sleeping over…at our place’..
Fuck.
You were.
Two days ago, while planning for The Sun Chaser with you, Jayce had offered for you to crash at their shared apartment the day after, seeing that your apartment was much further from the lab, it would be best to sleep in their apartment and not risk passing out on the way home.
“Yeah! I got my pajamas packed and ready in my bag!” You reply, smiling as you start to make your way to the door, following close behind an exhausted Jayce, and behind you..a much more awake Viktor.
A very awake, and very screwed Viktor.

Odd Good - Viktor
notes - here's that Viktor fic for that poll I did a couple days ago! I love this man so so much, but I am going to spoil it now and tell you that there is no kiss in this one. It's just a cute fluff fic of meeting Viktor and I could even make a part two if anyone would be interested, but we'll see. For now, this was just a super cute fluffy fic to write and I really hope my Viktor lovers enjoy it! I hope you all have a great day and stay hydrated!!!

omg this gif is so hot *passes away*
"Ugh, Jayce, would you slow down?! This box is heavy!" you complained, said heavy box nearly falling out of your hands. "What's even in here anyway?"
"Oh, stop complaining, y/n! Just a little bit further! And it's not even that heavy, dummy, it's just filled with some metal bits for something I'm working on."
You rolled your eyes, but kept moving forward. You couldn't believe yourself sometimes, always falling into another one of Jayce's traps to get you to help him. Ever since he became such a big shot after creating HexTech, you've been nothing but his little helper. You would think you two would be going out for dinner, but then it would turn out that you would be carrying a ten ton box up to his room.
Though, that was mostly your fault since you decided to befriend him all those years ago.
"Alright, y/n, just down that hall and into that room over there." Jayce said, out of breath even though he didn't do anything but walk up a couple of stairs.
"You don't want this in your room?" you asked, actually out of breath as you looked at the unfamiliar room Jayce had pointed to.
"No, this isn't for me. It's for a friend."
"So you made me do a favor for you for a friend?! You lazy son of a-"
"Hey, you got dinner out of it, right?"
You mumbled some curses under your breath and walked over to the room at the end of the hall while Jayce slithered to his room quietly. Since you weren't really big on science or anything along those lines, this building was only known as two things to you: the place where Jayce did all of his work, and the staff lounge that had one hell of a coffee. Jayce never took you on a tour or let you explore any of the labs since you weren't super interested anyways, so if you got lost anywhere, you would probably be lost for days.
You knocked on the door at the end of the hall, hoping that you weren't interrupting anyone that Jayce didn't warn you about and all you heard was a quiet, "come in!"
You opened the door and finally set down the box that was going to be the death of your arms, taking some deep breaths. "Jayce told me to put these in here." you told the person in the room that you didn't get a good look at since you were literally heaving out of breath with your hands on your knees.
"Oh, well tell Jayce I say thank you. I've been waiting for those all week." When the man spoke, he had a thick accent and was very quiet. "You can leave those there. Thank you again."
You gave him a thumbs up, still trying to get the pain to leave your arms a bit before you left.
"Are you okay?" the man chuckled, standing up. When he walked over to you, you heard the sound of his footsteps, but something else to. Like a clicking sound.
When you finally looked him up to at least wave him off or tell him that you were fine, you froze.
Oh god.
So this must be Viktor, you thought. Jayce had always told you about his work partner, but the two of you never actually met each other.
Since when was he this attractive?
Jesus, you were losing your mind.
When you realized that you were standing in silence for way too long though, you cleared your throat, pulling yourself out of your mind.
"I'm fine," you laughed nervously. "Jayce just made me carry that god awful thing up some flights of stairs since the elevator was taking too long."
"And he couldn't do it himself?" He cocked an eyebrow, leaning on his cane.
"Right?! I mean, it's my fault really. I fell for another one of his 'hey, do you wanna go to dinner' tricks."
That made him laugh pretty hard for a second before his attention fell to your arms. "Are you alright though? That is a really heavy box."
"Oh, I'm fine," you admitted, squeezing your bicep. "I'm strong. I've had to carry heavier for that ass, so it's fine."
"I see. Well thank you again." He walked over to the box and started pushing it over to his station he was working at.
"You're Viktor, right?" you said before you left.
"I am."
"Jayce talks about you a lot, but never introduced us. I'm y/n."
"Oh, y/n!" Viktor's eyes lit up. "I know who you are now! You've helped out a lot, you know. Even if we've never met, Jayce tells me how much you've done."
"Oh, it's nothing," you said, slightly blushing. "Just favors for a friend, that's all."
"No, really, all of your help means a lot." He began getting back to work on whatever project he had going on. "You don't work here, right?"
"Oh, god no." you laughed. "This is definitely not my industry."
"Gotcha." He slipped on a pair of goggles and turned over a metal bit in his hand. "Well, I hate to cut this short, but it was very nice to meet you, y/n. Thank you for bringing up my pieces."
"Of course! And it was very nice to meet you, Viktor."
You went to step out, but heard Viktor's voice again. "I expect to see you here more often, y/n. And if Jayce starts putting you to more work, my lab can always be a good break room."
You laughed. "Alright. I'll see you around then."
You closed the door behind you and immediately felt your face heat. You ran to Jayce's room and threw the door open, scaring the shit out of the scientist.
"Dammit, y/n! What the hell?!"
"Why haven't you introduced me to Viktor sooner?!" you said, ignoring Jayce.
"What?" he looked at you with confusion and then smirked when he saw how red your face was. "Oh? Gotta little crush or something?"
"Sh-Shut up! I was just wondering."
"He's not big on talking to other people. Introverted little dude."
"Oh."
"So, when's the date?"
"Jayce, I'm serious, shut up."
"And y/n, I'm serious. When's the date?"
"There is no date." You rolled your eyes and pulled up a chair so you could sit on it, spinning yourself around a couple of times.
"Yet?"
"I don't know, Jayce! I just met the guy!"
"Well take that dude on a date as soon as you can and get him out of his damn lab. I have found him asleep at his desk every night this week. Plus, I think it would be funny."
"Funny? God, you're such a child, Jayce."
He playfully stuck his tongue out to you and leaned back in his chair. "But seriously, I think you should really get to know Viktor if you like him already. He's a good guy and super smart. And again, I want him to go breath some actual air and get out of his lab."
You laughed. "Fine, I'll see what I can do. But no guarantees."
---
How did that work?! you thought as you sat across a dinner table with Viktor, both of you dressed nicely and asking for fancy food. You really were just flirting with him as a joke after that first meeting, almost expecting nothing out of it, and to your surprise, he ended up asking you on a date a couple of weeks later.
Literally how?!
"This is so odd for me," Viktor laughed. "I never really leave my lab. Even for occasional HexTech parties."
"Odd good, or odd bad?" you giggled back.
"Odd good. You look very nice by the way." You noticed the way his cheeks lightly flushed pink. Why was he so damn cute?
"Thank you. You look nice too. But I get the whole odd thing. It's odd good for me, but I don't really go on dates often. I found a lot of joy in work and nobody was really doing it for me, so I gave up. I mean... I didn't 'give up', but I... I don't know how to explain it."
"No, I understand. I never date either. I thought it was a waste of time."
"Well, what do you think? Is this a waste of time?" you flirted as the waiter dropped of both of your food.
"No, actually. I quite like this. Though, internally, something still wants me working for some reason."
"Well you're going to have to get used to not working, because I already want ten more of these."
Viktor thought for a moment, a small smile appearing on his lips. "Deal. I'll put down the work, but only if I get to see you dressed up like this more often."
"Deal."
The two of you shook hands in agreement with a smile on both of your faces.
There were definitely going to be more of these.

SFW Alphabet Viktor ~ Arcane
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Our sweet scientist is usually busy, but he usually shows his affection by spending quality time with you. Even if it isn’t often, he’d much prefer to spend time with you then pampering you with gifts or being overly affective.
He isn’t one for a lot of affection in public, so don’t expect an abundance of PDA from him.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
As a best friend, he’d be a good listener, not much to talk so much about his feelings (I mean, we see this in the series, he’s working so much that he ignoring his own deteriorating health, mf never talks about that)
Trust him to keep any and all secrets that you trust to tell him about.
The friendship would start out slowly, more so if you met him after he started working with Jayce and, therefore, throwing himself head first into tiresome work
However, if you're lucky enough for him to take notice to and actually end up talking to a she does to Jayce
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
When he isn’t working, he will gladly cuddle with you
If he’s been working for a long period of time (which is most of the time), then he will want to cuddle up to you with his head on your chest and your arms around him
Play with this man’s hair!!!
He would melt into your touch regardless of not having his hair played with or not, but he would definitely enjoy cuddling 1000 times more if your fingers were fiddling with his hair.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Viktor wasn't one to think that he would ever settle down with someone, he always thought too little of himself due to his disability and, after meeting Jayce, he busied himself with endless piles of work
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Maybe because he works too often
The two of you would grow far and he would realise it maybe even before you
He'd realise it would be bad for the two of you if you continued like this, but he's too dedicated to his work to leave it - even for you
If you can't understand that and want him to spend less of his time on it, he would definitely dislike that and it might even strain your relationship with him
So he would decide to break up with you. You'd find someone you could meet your needs and he would no longer feel pressured to show his love more often and would be left to his own devices within the lab (quite literally).
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment?
He never though he would be in a relationship, let alone be in one long enough that settling down / marriage would even be a consideration
He'd take a while to make his mind up about it
He's so dedicated to his work with hextech that he doesn't want to strain his relationship because of how much time he spends on it
He'd have to be 100% sure that you are happy with the amount of time he spends with his work and be 100% sure ten fold to even think about pop the question
To shorten it: you happy with how he is = marriage. You not happy with how he is = no marriage
He just wants to make sure that he can have you by his side, he doesn't want to strain you relationship.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
A gentle soul indeed.
He may be a little blunt when it comes to talking, but he means no harm in what he says and you will have to come to learn that if you take what has been said to heart too quickly
He's gentle with his actions too, he will never be too harsh while holding you or kissing you. It will always be soft kisses and calm hugs/cuddles no matter what
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
He likes hugs when he's exhausted and stressed out from the work he's done
Those hugs are what starts with him just wrapping his arms around you and his head either by your neck or on your chest, which then result in a lot cuddle where he can destress.
If it you who needs a hug, the rolls will be reversed and it will be you who has your head on his chest and he who rests his chin on the top of your head.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
He falls in love within one, two or three months with dating you, but it takes much longer to say that he loves you.
He wants to be sure that you feel the same as he does. He doesn't want you to feel pressured into saying it back
He is super afraid of saying it and then you just saying 'thanks...'
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
He's less jealous and more insecure
I mean, the man practically puts you on a pedestal, not so much that it is too a 'you are elite and amazing and no one can ever stand to your level, you do no wrong yada yada...'
It's more to an extent that he just loves everything that you do. You are mesmerising to him.
Partnered with him... he often wonders if there is someone better out there for you.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
He likes to kiss your lips and your cheeks
He won't often kiss your neck unless the two of you are being intimate
When he kisses you though, it is always light and gentle
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
He isn't extremely well with children
He can feed them cool and interesting facts that he has stored up in his head, but if they aren't interested in such things he's a little bit at a lost
If you and he were to interact with children (perhaps little ones in your family since we don't have much information on Viktor's family), he's solely rely on you leading the whole interaction
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Mornings with him is rare, he gets up early to work
However, there is an off day where you will be able to wake up with him, simply cuddled up together
Those mornings are sweet, because it is the warmest feeling you will ever feel and it is also the best way to wake up
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
Most nights result in him coming home exhausted.
Some nights this mf doesn't even come home (don't stress he just is sleeping in his silly little lab)
The nights he does come home, however, he just wanst sleep at this point and he's no doubt dragging you into bed with him because he's gotten so used to having you by his side as he sleeps.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
In a friendship, he would reluctantly share a few things about his childhood in the Undercity. Though, they were extremely vague and something that you expected any child to go through.
However, he started to open up a little more further in your relationship
It was when you two started dating that he was much more comfortable telling you more details about himself
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
His patience can vary, more so on how stressed he is
He typically has a very good patience, if someone isn't getting something he can explain again and try and dumb it down as much as he can. Though, it can only last a little when it is someone who does not share the same scientific knowledge as he does.
His patience when explaining such scientific things to you is better, though. He's happy to explain these things with you because then he'd finally have someone else to talk to about it aside from Jayce
If he's extremely stressed out, he's more likely to snap or rudely say to leave him alone
He doesn't want to be rude, but with his patience being tested enough throughout the day, he simple cannot handle the smallest thing
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He's got an extremely good memory, with his work and his smarts, there's no doubt that he taught himself to keep certain things drilled into that brilliant mind of his
He'd be able to remember the small things about you, he was observant like that. He's more likely similar to Jayce (of course, not as much as he was with you).
At first it was mostly how you liked your coffee/tea, how often you needed reminding of certain tasks, things that only extremly close friends would know - even early into your friendship.
When you two start dating, he learns all the smaller details of you. The small shifts if body language/ facial expressions when your emotions change. If you scratch yourself/ bite or pick your nails/ shake your leg when your nervous, ect:
Like it to Viktor to figure these things out within moments.
R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)
His favourite memory of yours and his relationship would definitely be your first date
He was a nervous wreck, but he didn't fail to meet all your standards
He went to your house, even got you a little gift (something he knew that you would like)
You two had a lovely dinner first date and the two of you were hitting it off brilliantly
He even managed to make you laugh, so loud in this restuarnt that the poor people around you had looked a little pissed off.
You quickly quietened yourself and tried to calm down, but he could hear the little giggles coming from your lips
It was one of his favourite memories of your early days in the relationship because he loves hearing you stupid little laughs when you're trying to be quiet.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
He is protective, but when he is feeling protective over you (perhaps you are talking to someone and they make a few too many hints at you), he'd come over and remind you of an up coming date of yours or ask if you're coming by the lab later.
He wouldn't suggest or say anything lewd, that is for you and him and you and him alone.
He secretly likes it if you are protective over him.
He wouldn't want you to get violent, he doesn't like the idea of you getting hurt (fuck the other guy, yk we don't care about them). However, he doesn't dislike the whole idea of you getting protective over him.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
With gifts and ideas with dates and anniversaries, he's thinking out every single possible outcome of getting it for you or doing it with you.
A gift he has to weigh out the ideas of how much you would use it and if it would last long enough for you to use it however many times, alongside trying to figure out how excited or grateful you would be if he got it for you
A date would have to someplace you two could have meaningful conversation. There's no point being someplace crowded where neither of you would enjoy, get separated from each other or even are restricted from having a proper conversation.
A dinner perhaps or a date? A picnic? Somewhere secluded and calm where you could easily navigate through and talk to one another
An anniversary he would definitely have to take you someplace where it had a deep meaning for the both of you. Somewhere you said your first 'I love you', or where you had your first date or kiss. If you're married then a first anniversary might be where he proposed.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
It's mostly his sleep that is a bad habit of his, he relies so much on coffee to stay awake that instead of 70% water in his body it's more like coffee.
Another habit of his would most definitely keeping a few of deeper feelings hidden from you. He wouldn't want to bother you with what he has going on, and would, without a single doubt, head head on into his work more than usual.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
He isn't at all concerned with his physical looks like his face or his hair, however he can be a little bit insecure about his leg
We can see how he views himself due to his disability in the series. Even if he may seem fine with it now in his adulthood, he can still feel a little bit insecure and down about it.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
He might feel a bit incomplete without you by his side, but he also believes it to be impractical to rely on someone to that extent that he would feel 'incomplete' without them
Well, he'd say that at first, but it is only a matter of time before he starts to realise that he isn't quite as motivated as he usually is without your smile or your laughter to cheer him up or get him through the day.
Really it is a 50/50 on how 'incomplete' or 'complete' he feels without you. It might just be a mixture depending on the day.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
He was a star student throughout his school days, especially in the academy in Piltover. However, he would sometimes figure our how to find the answers to a few tests.
He wasn't cheating, oh no, no. But he wanted to see if he got the answers corrects and, of course, he did.
He was never caught once.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
A big one is if you saw him differently or thought of him differently because of his leg.
He ain't gonna like you, let alone want to be with you if you're ableist
Another one is if you never understood the importance of what he work would be doing for the world like he or Jayce did.
If you don't see how important his and Jayce's work is, and won't even try to see how important it is, you might as well have zero luck with him
He needs someone who can support him on this. He needs someone to see how important his work is, just as anything else.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
Has such a shitty sleep schedule, this mf barely ever sleeps and mostly lives of coffee in hopes that it keeps him alive at this point
You'd have to drag this man away from his work for him to actually go to bed
I mean, it's not like he doesn't sleep ,it just isn't regular.
You'd, without doubt, find him asleep in the lab if you wen in early/late enough.

Chapter Summary: The hunt for your mother's lost will hasn't ended, but Viktor is there to give you words of comfort when you need them--and perhaps even more than that. If you're willing to take it.
7: What Blooms in Winter
Mrs. Emma Quivar was all business when you crossed the spotless threshold of her office outlined in stainless iron and black marble.
Gone were the days where she would greet you with a kiss on the cheek while visiting your mother for business; but you weren’t the same shy teenager wishing to take the least space possible in the enormous penthouse your mother called home anymore.
You still remembered your mother’s words when Emma gestured for you to sit down, with her stubbornly chastising you to erase the word ‘friend’ while regarding her business partners. At the time, you considered it like another of your mother’s quirks, but now you had understood it, a tad too late, maybe.
“My child, hello, hello,” Emma said, her hands gesturing away for you to sit across from her. “I didn’t think you’d have a lovebird tucked away from the eyes of the family.” She chuckled, her gaze miniaturized by her glasses, and yet still piercing to rummage your thoughts. “Your mother would have loved to know about him, that way she wouldn’t have left thinking you were all alone.”
You doubted your mother would care for such a thing if that would’ve happened.
She decided not to marry for a reason, despite the countless business proposals laid over her desk. Just as she thought that there were only business partners instead of friends, she thought so of romantic relationships, carrying in the memories of the Daxer’s tradition of marrying by sole mutual convenience instead of real feelings. Those were frivolities that not even the real frivolities of wealth and power could meet all the time.
Or else—that was something no Daxer was inclined to even consider.
“I see you have read the news,” you muttered. Or perhaps someone had let her know.
“I wonder how you kept it hidden from your mother.” Her black eyes pierced you as Quivar looked at you for the first time, adjusting her glasses to look away from the computer. “You only work and go home. Where did you meet him? He’s… somewhat attractive, I’d say.”
A scoff was about to break free. You were too tired from your family trip for these games.
“Do you keep a copy of my mother’s will? I need it.” Emma was a placeholder in the stock bureau, not much, but she would be interested in how the fight for the CEO position will develop. I know you were appointed with one copy.
Just as the other two ex-business partners of your mother, who preferred to bet on the more obvious winner of the competition, Mathieu.
"Hmmm. And how much will you value a thing such as that?" Emma said, with a hand on her heart. “I held your mother’s friendship very close to my heart.”
It was always about taking. Demand with an unfair deal—and you were also guilty of this, asking Viktor to fake a marriage with you, dragging him into this chaos for a menial reward.
Spend all those upcoming years with you when he could go on and live his life, find certainty instead of more questions after every not-so-accidental touch, the moments right after separating away from a kiss.
Your eyes hardened. “What do you want?”
She pointed at her computer with a sigh. “HexTech is such an ever-growing enterprise; from industrial mechanics to more specialized fields. It has a bright future." Emma smiled. "I hope some of its light can be cast upon me."
Your lips parted, the answer surprising you both.
“No.” Words stern and cold. “I don’t own HexTech, I can’t integrate a new shareholder without consulting it with the board.” Most importantly, consulting it with Viktor and Jayce. It was their dream, after all. You didn’t have any right to tamper with it. “I can give a percentage of my company, FireBird Security, but HexTech is off-limits.”
Emma crossed her arms, the red blazer she wore getting all wrinkled. “Why is that? Your husband won’t approve, by any chance?” She said, her eyes twinkling with mockery. “I thought he loved you dearly.”
“I love him dearly, that’s why I’m not doing anything behind his back.”
The silence hung heavy between you two, both your and her eyes widened,  lips slightly ajar at the sudden outburst.
Your heart picked up speed, skin got hotter, almost prickling with shame. What was that? Standing up with a jump, you decided to cut the meeting short as now it was clear that Emma wasn't on your side anymore—if she even was at the beginning.
Emma clicked her tongue. “You’re still very naïve,” she told you. “To think that man wouldn’t have accepted already if given the chance of being in your place.”
You conjured Viktor's golden eyes shining like molten gold against the evening sun, the chestnut locks of his hair moving with the soft breeze that smelled like grass and summer flowers as you cradled his head on your lap.
You chuckled, amused at Emma’s words, thinking that they had gotten out Léonie’s first, echoed in this office as your aunt poisoned her mind.
“Say hello to my aunt once you reunite again,” you stated toward her, your eyes boring holes into her face as you glared at her from above your shoulder before closing the door with a slam.
It was so easy for Léonie to move across society picking her best moves while you struggled to even get a foot in this place, which one each day you were convinced wasn’t for you.
Would the voices that whispered usurper ever cease? Even if you got to sit in the CEO's chair? Because you could imagine them bouncing, reverberating with an endless echo inside such a big and quiet office.
What would have been of you if your mother had never adopted you?
For a moment, a childish part of you imagined you working in a suburban area of this bustling city, crossing paths with Viktor once by crossing a street, with either of you looking back.
You couldn't know if the strange sensation located in your chest was sadness, or the eerily unfamiliar sense of relief.
Tumblr media
The cozy apartment smelled like coffee when you opened the door, a warm air coming from the swinging door against the chill of the arriving autumn outside.
Viktor was hunched over the coffee table in the living room, papers scattered everywhere alongside a pen that had exploded, stains of blue ink shining against the lamp nearby. Rio was nuzzled against some blankets, deeply asleep.
His brows frowning in focus relaxed at the sight of you, his golden gaze turned toward your figure as you were taking your shoes off.
He smiled. “Hello,” he said, the pen held in his hands clicking in a rapid rhythm as he flapped it between his fingers. “I made coffee, please feel free to drink some.” Viktor chuckled. “It wouldn’t do good to, eh, drink it all by myself.”
“Thank you,” you said, taking off the coat that now was too warm inside the cocoon of the apartment. “I think I’ll take some tea, though.” You tried to smile when he looked at you. “I need something… relaxing.”
Viktor settled down the papers then, taking the handle of his cane tucked in the armrest. “Did your meeting go badly?” he muttered, standing up to walk toward you.
You nodded, trying to curve your lips upward without much success. You didn't wish to burden him with your problems—despite how much you had dragged him already. Sometimes such thoughts kept you up at night, looking at the dim golden light of the living room lamp on way past 1 AM. And you couldn't help but wonder if, in those hours when the silence ate you away, he was regretting his choice.
“I’ll make you a hot chocolate, hmm?” Viktor was already walking toward the kitchen.
“You don’t have to,” you heard yourself stutter. “I’m sure you’re busy.” Just like you, he always was.
Viktor gestured away. “Don’t worry about it. Jayce always tells me I have to take small breaks.” He looked at you with a little smile. “Maybe I’ll start following his advice.”
“With some luck, not all his advice,” you mumbled, which made him chuckle.
“If you think his advice is… questionable, you should wait to hear mine,” Viktor told you, an eyebrow raised.
“Please do tell,” you said, with him helping to pull out a stool in front of the breakfast bar.
“Well, I think—"
You decided the bad idea of opening a package of cookies that were lying there, the sound waking the cockatoo up, who squeaked “Viktor!” before flying to pose next to you in the breakfast bar, her little head bobbing side to side as she looked at your fingers sheepishly taking a cookie out.
“No, Rio. We’ve talked about that,” Viktor scolded her.
You raised the cookie toward the bird. “Here,” you told her in the softest voice you could manage.
Rio lounged at it, breaking the surface with its beak. But then she noticed that you weren’t pulling the treat away, only rotating it so she could bite into it again.
It could be that Viktor was surveilling her, but Rio started to bite slower, her head gently tilting toward the cookie. Even so, you gave Viktor the remaining core of it so he could feed her so close to his fingers. You could still remember the hot pain of the bird’s beak.
“Say thank you, Rio,” Viktor said once the cookie had gone into her stomach.
The bird flapped her wings, flying away toward Viktor’s room.
“Rio!”
"It isn't necessary," you said, although amused by your (fake) husband's relationship with his pet. In other circumstances, you would've joked that Rio was that adopted daughter reticent of trusting her new stepmother. "Don't worry about it."
Rio squeaked, returning triumphant over the breakfast bar. She wobbled to step in front of you, dropping a sunflower seed near your hand and then flying away as quickly as she had arrived.
You looked at the seed. “This is for you.” You held it between your fingers, offering it to Viktor.
“Oh no, no.” Viktor was smiling, gently wrapping his hand over yours with shy fingers, a touch barely as light as the morning sun cast over your face in early spring. “That’s for you.” He chuckled. “A little gift.”
You felt his warm fingers beneath your hand slightly cold from just being outside, your eyes drawn to his in a gentle motion that still made your heart jump. “Maybe I should plant it, and see what blooms from it,” you muttered.
“I have a little pot,” he answered in the same tone, his hand still hovering over yours.
“Then it’ll be like our little child?” You couldn’t stop yourself from saying, feeling stupid as soon as the words were gone from your mouth and into the world.
Instead of hearing a mocking laugh, or to feel his awkward gaze, Viktor smiled and nodded. "Don't let Rio hear this but… yes," he said, leaning against you to mutter such a secret. "And something tells me that it will be as pretty as its mother.”
You giggled like a fool, feeling your face starting to feel hot.
It wasn't impossible not to take him, the way his face was highlighted by the dim golden light from the living room against the bright white bulb in the kitchen, how his eyes diverged from your eyes toward your lips.
Your fingers grabbed the edge of the bar to lean against him, closing the seemingly abysmal distance between each other’s lips.
Always taking.
Today, though, you wished to give.
Shyness tried to overcome your bold move, redirecting the motion of your lips to pose toward his cheek instead, in a mere fleeting peck. Yet, your resolution was higher, closing your eyes shut with force as if you were about to jump off a cliff.
He tasted like coffee, the motion of his open lips slow and unsure, scared you’d pull him away after realizing your mistake.
Though in this moment you could barely register the action like so. It felt… right, something supposed to be. And even if part of you stayed thrilled at the thought, the other was terrified.
Viktor's hand slipped into the curve of your hip, his fingers finding soft and aching skin, wishing for his touch without realization.
If you’d lived in a lie for the last couple of months, what would Viktor consider your relationship to be? Especially with so many blurry lines starting to conjoin and erase in unknown patterns to try and figure out the result—would it be chaos or art?
One moment, you were still in the kitchen with the purr of the milk starting to boil, and the other you were standing at the edge of the restaurant rooftop, with the wind blowing cold at your back and Viktor's warmth hugging you closer, both trying to take you in and to cover you from the harshness of the world.
Who knew what else you'd done if the stove wasn’t starting to hiss in anger from the abandonment of the milk that was threatening with spilling out the pot.
Viktor muttered a curse that you couldn't listen to, not between the cacophony of your beating heart and the sounds of your obnoxiously loud breath.
He went to pour a tablet of chocolate inside the milk, stirring the contents until the forming foam went away. You stayed sitting across from him on the breakfast bar, playing with the little seed inside your sweaty palms.
“Um…” you said, cringing at the sound of your voice in such a quiet room. "You said you have a piece of advice for me?"
Viktor’s cheeks were bright pink, eyes glued to the hot chocolate in the making.
“Eh, yes.” He cleared his throat. “Well, my advice may sound bland, but I think you can make good use of it. I’ve noticed that we have more in common than… ah—than we might initially thought.”
You blinked, it wasn’t at all surprising. You barely saw each other between the long journeys from work, the only sign of companionship being the slits of light filtering beneath the bedroom doors at night.
“Which is why I struggle with asking for help,” Viktor muttered, taking two cups from the cupboard and pouring steaming hot cocoa inside them. “Which is why I would like to offer you my help in anything you could… eh, need.”
You were about to protest, the phrase, ‘you don’t have to’ almost slipping out your lips.
“I don’t do it out of obligation,” Viktor stated, giving you one of the cups and settling in a seat across from yours. “I mean it.”
That was the scary part, because if he did—then what?
“I… I don’t know if I can give you that back. What you’re giving me.”
“I don’t seek retribution,” Viktor called your name, hands hovering as if trying to land atop yours.
“That’s unfair,” you said, thinking about all the passing deals and contracts you’d done in the past, all the infinite pile you’d do for the rest of your life, and how to think of Viktor like just a passing signature between all those pages made you feel.
“Perhaps.” He nodded. “But I won’t pressure you. I know what was getting myself into, and I abide by it, by all of it.”
It was the first time in the day that you smiled, lips curved and with your eyes crinkling close in half-moons.
“Thank you, Viktor.” His words had stirred an idea.
He copied your smile, the glimpse of his teeth glistening against the white bulb of the kitchen lamp. “Of course,” he simply said, sitting idly and silent until you had drunk all the hot chocolate and waiting for you to excuse yourself toward your bedroom.
You'd wish to say that night your dreams came easier, but instead, you felt your thoughts going in circles as fast as a hurricane's, pouring rain of ideas and possible paths to enter between the storm that was starting to form ahead.
The next day, Viktor and you took the day off due to a sudden snowfall that had covered the roads back to the metropolis.
You were ready to start with the preparations of your upcoming plan, yet alas, you knew you needed to visit someone in person to strike ideas first, especially after all the time you spent apart.
He knocked on your bedroom to give you a small plant pot on the side of your hand right after having breakfast together, the ambiance still charged with the unprompted kiss from last night.
“You can use soil from the plants on the balcony," Viktor told you, his cane tapping the floor. “I will go to buy some more later. Ah—yes, I put some of Rio’s seed peels at the bottom, like compost.”
Thanking him, you waited to hear his bedroom door close before emerging toward the living room, scooting to see if Rio was free before opening the balcony door, shivers running down your spine with the sudden freezing air blowing across your face.
“It’s too cold to put you outside,” you said to no one in particular, because the seed was inside your bedroom, over the nightstand. The sky was pure grey, and white snow starting to get dirty with the kids and the cars as the suburbs started to stir with life.
Then, you settled the little pot by the window, making a small hole in the middle with your finger, plopping the little, lonely seed inside, and then lovingly covering it with the black soil that was starting to make your fingers grow cold. It was humid already, so you let it be.
You hoped the plant would survive the inclement weather, that perhaps, once it grew bigger, you could get it another, bigger pot.
The only thing you could do was wait—perhaps the most terrifying thing in a world you were convinced would fail you.

viktor with a healer mage gf who also acts as his personal nurse. uses her magic to numb any pain or discomfort he might be feeling (especially when she hugs him so they're extra pleasant) loves to help him with research and act as his lab partner and "favorite test subject"
Tumblr media
The love Viktor feels towards you is immeasurable. The fact that he found someone who not only loves him endlessly but also helps take away his pain and hurt is baffling to him.
He is such a selfless man that even when he first finds out about your abilities, the thought to have you use them to aid his discomfort doesn't even cross his mind. He is more intrigued and curious about how they can help Hextech (if you're willing to lend a hand, of course).
The first time you help him is when he collapses and ends up in the hospital. Had you known that his condition was getting this bad, you would've helped him before, but alas, this stubborn man doesn't know how to ask for help and you didn't want to do anything that makes him uncomfortable.
That night, he wakes up to your teary face by his side, holding his hand and scolding him for neglecting his well-being. His body is aching all over but he still tries to get up and wipe away your tears. That's when you hug him and let your magic seep into his frail body. Boundaries be damned, you cannot entertain the sight of seeing the man you love in pain. Viktor is taken aback by the gesture, why would you waste your energy on someone so far gone as he is? This spurs you on to admit your love for him and kiss him, out of frustration and adoration. Anything to get your confession through that thick skull of his. Viktor gently reciprocates, feeling as if he is dreaming and returns your affections.
From then on, you are a common presence in the lab. You remind Viktor to eat and drink water, bring him sweet milk and aid him when his pain gets the best of him. Oh, he is so in love with you, the way your touch literally makes all his pain go away and the way you're so gentle and kind to him makes his heart ache with love.
On particularly bad pain days, when Viktor's body is weak due to flare-ups, you two stay in bed. Your body next to his, holding him in your arms and soothing away his soreness and aches. On those days, Viktor weakly murmurs about how grateful he is to have you, how he will work even harder to repay you. Silly man doesn't understand that you don't need anything in return, for all that you do for him comes from the very bottom of your caring heart.
He loves how involved you are with his work. How you'll ask him questions, keep him company, give your opinion and listen to his ramblings and scientific explanations.
When you offer to help him with experiments by being his test subject, Viktor refuses at first. What if something doesn't go the way he intended? What if he hurts you? He wouldn't be able to live with the guilt if something ever happened to you, especially if he was to blame.
Eventually though, he grows comfortable with doing harmless experiments on you. Especially when he sees how happy you are to help him and be of use to him (not that you aren't of use to him usually, he cannot imagine a life without you by his side).
All in all, the two of you have such a wonderful and loving relationship that would make anyone jealous. You take care of one another and support each other's hopes and dreams. You both vow to never leave each other's side, for better or for worse.

A Brief Musing on the Jayce/Viktor dynamic
If the show was trying to convey to me that Jayce forgot or stopped caring about Viktor in favor of glory or success then I don’t think it entirely succeeded (I’d argue though that that wasn’t the show’s intention, it was more to demonstrate that he was being pulled in different directions and forced to make hard decisions that may have made his loved ones feel alienated, regardless of his feelings for them).
Jayce repeatedly expressed genuine concern for Viktor's health and well-being, it was even strongly suggested that his decision to unseat Heimerdinger was driven by his desperation to heal him, hence his "people don't live for centuries!" outburst. He even prioritized healing Viktor over bringing Hextech to the masses, his greatest dream.
I think some critics getting the impression that Jayce was leaving Viktor behind was in part sparked by the shot in the Progress Day episode where Jayce sets the mug with his face on it down on the table, obscuring the shot of Viktor, but I have a couple of theories about why that shot was there.
It was meant to convey the public perception of Jayce and Viktor's dynamic and not Jayce's true feelings. Remember, Jayce wanted Viktor onstage with him, Viktor's more reserved and shy personality simply was not conducive to being the face of Hextech.
It was meant to foreshadow what might happen in s2 (this doesn't seem that likely to me as they'll have much bigger fish to fry then whether Jayce values Viktor as a partner, I think they'll more likely be at odds as to how to grapple with being at war and Hextech's stake in the conflict.)
It was another example of the show hinting at a negative turn for a character before pulling back from it or going in an unexpected direction with it (also present in Mel's character arc).
Anyway, I just thought I'd give my thoughts on Jayce's feelings about Viktor because I don't really see what other people are seeing there.

Jinx, Viktor, and Ekko: Zaun's Messiest Trio
I really can't wait for season 2 of Arcane, mostly to finally see Jinx, Ekko, and Viktor interact. All three have this dynamic where every person has a reason to be suspicious of the other, but each would absolutely benefit if they managed to work together.
Despite the fact that Viktor hasn't met either Jinx or Ekko, all three still manage to (or at least will) know something about the other characters, which colors the bias of the others when they meet next season. I decided to list out a few of the ongoing threads on what has happened and what could happen between Ekko, Jinx, and Viktor based on that.
Ekko and Jinx:
Ekko doesn't know that Jinx stole back the hexgem during their fight.
Will Ekko feel partially responsible for the coming war between Zaun and Piltover because he let his past with Jinx stop him from killing her on the bridge?
Ekko doesn't know Jinx set him and the Firelights up to take the fall for the hexgem heist and the explosion on the bridge. Has this happened under Jinx's direction before?
Jinx may or may not have more firelight bombs stationed near his base
When it's revealed that Jinx robbed Jayce's apartment with Ekko's help in the 1st act, will that only further tie Jinx's past crimes to the Firelights by Piltover's establishment?
There's a theory that Ekko saved himself and Jinx by knocking away her grenade. Would Jinx know that if it were true?
Does Jinx know that Ekko has a giant mural that includes a younger version of herself?
How many times did Ekko try to reach out to Jinx? What was the final straw?
How many Firelights has Jinx personally killed? How many were on the wall?
Is "Boy Savior" a nickname Jinx sarcastically came up with, or is it something from before Silco's coup?
How does Ekko feel about the fact Scar is the Firelight that tries to take a killing shot of Jinx the most often?
Jinx and Viktor:
Jinx fired a rocket in Viktor's direction during the finale, potentially putting him in a position where his work with the hexcore is exposed.
Will Viktor resent Jinx for the actions she's committed and the lives she's cost since she sparked the war?
Jinx is technically the reason Viktor and Jayce were able to partner with each other in the first place
Viktor likely learned from Jayce and from attending the last council meeting that Jinx was responsible for the attacks since her capture was a part of the negotiation terms. He may have also learned that Vi was the one to inform the council.
Will Viktor be the one to tell Jinx it was Vi who gave her name to the Council?
Both unknowingly share Singed as an advisory source. Viktor goes to Singed for help with the Hexcore, and Jinx wanted to send the hexgem to Singed when she was having trouble unlocking hextech.
Singed is the source of both characters' transmutations through Shimmer.
Viktor knows how to defuse Jinx's bombs. Can he do it again?
If Viktor knew he could get Shimmer from Singed, the source of it, then how much does Viktor know about the Shimmer trade in Zaun? Does Viktor know about its other key actors like Jinx and Silco?
Jinx understands that hextech really just connects humans to the "realm of heebie jeebies" , like she grasps the danger. Does Viktor understand that, or was he too desperate to care?
Since Viktor spent a part of his youth assisting Singed and saw Singed's Shimmer transfusion surgery of Rio. Does that mean when Jinx and Viktor meet, he'll understand exactly what Singed did to Jinx that saved her life because Singed did the same to Rio?
Viktor and Ekko:
Ekko most likely only knows about Viktor through Heimerdinger, which will color expectations of Viktor's motivations
Ekko doesn't know that Viktor gave Singed (Silco's ally) access to hextech related blueprints.
Will Viktor learn that Ekko is also partially responsible for his and Jayce's meeting? If Ekko hadn't cased Jayce's apartment, Jinx and family wouldn't have blown up the building, which is how Viktor learns about Jayce's research.
Viktor might know that Jinx is responsible for the hexgem heist and the lives it cost, but the only physical evidence he saw was a grenade covered in Firelight symbols. Viktor might first assume that Jinx is associated with the Firelights.
Will Heimerdinger reveal to Ekko some new terrible details of Singed's history and fall from grace as it becomes apparent that Singed and Viktor are working together, further biasing Ekko against Viktor?
There's a theory that Sky is related to the Firelight with the bird mask. If the theory's true, then when it gets out that Viktor accidentally killed Sky, he's immediately alienated himself from Ekko's faction. If the theory's wrong, he'd still be an irresponsible man who got a fellow Zaunite killed in the eyes of many.
How would Ekko feel learning that Viktor was asked to represent Zaun in the peace deal despite the fact Viktor hasn't lived in Zaun for years and he's affiliated with Silco's associate Singed?
This is what I could think of on the fly, there's definitely more I'd add later. I just really hope we get more into these different Zaunite perspectives. I always felt like Arcane and League in general are too interested in pairing stories for Zaunites with a Piltovan foil, especially in a way that focuses on "reconciling" class issues. I want to see Zaunites that lived under the same conditions and reacted differently because of very minute differences in resources and chance in opportunity that became foundational in forming their perspective actually interact. Let them be strong together or tear each other apart!
The former plz tho!
Or just let them talk to each other! You know Ekko never actually spoke a word to Jinx in the first season?!?!? Not when they were kids, not in the timeskip.
Update: Turns out Ekko was created to have Viktor as one of his primary enemies. It seems pretty one-sided on Ekko's part, but we'll see.

Viktor x reader [romantic]
Summary ; In which you’re anxious, and Viktor always knows how to help you out.
Requested? ; Yes
Warnings ; none, besides small descriptions of physical anxiety - kinda based it on what I deal with myself, but everyone reacts to anxiety differently.
Definitions ; счастье моё (stchastye moyo) - gender-neutral, meaning “my happiness”
Word count ; 554
——————————————————————
Viktor is, first and foremost, a scientist.
He notices things through keen observation, studies them to no end to understand them, and draws conclusions that should be able to help others like himself.
And with those skills, comes observing you.
How you act. What you like and dislike. What makes you comfortable and uncomfortable.
And definitely what makes you anxious.
He knows hextech can’t truly fix that.
He should know, he deals with anxiety himself.
So as a partner and a scientist, he recognizes the signs.
The nervous glances.
The subtle deep breaths you take to calm yourself down. Or at least try to.
Never works. Maybe sometimes on the rare occasion, but not completely.
Then there’s the nervous jitters - maybe bouncing your leg, or running a hand through your hair constantly (if you have the hair type to do it) or running a hand over your face, or shaking your hands out to try and get the shakiness away.
Whatever it is, Viktor recognizes it.
He waits and checks in every so often, just to see if you’re able to calm yourself down first, instead of prying you to tell him what was going on.
When you don’t calm down though, he decides a distraction is probably better to try first.
He shows you the inventions he and Jayce are working on, discusses them with you, tries to see what you think about it. Half of the time that helps you calm down, primarily because you focus on his voice, and also because you love hearing and experiencing his work.
Anxiety is a fickle thing.
So when it doesn’t work out, that’s when he asks you what’s wrong.
“You don’t have to tell me just yet, but I’d like to know whenever you’re ready.”
If it’s really bad, he has you both sit down, and you just lay your head on his shoulder. He rests his cheek against your head and wraps an arm around you, one of his hands coming up to run against your upper arm to ground you there. Breathes slowly until you do it too.
And he waits until you’re ready to talk.
If it’s a sudden panic you just grab onto his shoulder or hand and squeeze it, and he already knows.
Viktor either excuses himself from his work or if he’s talking to someone (normally it’s just Jayce - he understands immediately and spares you a quick sympathetic nod), and lets you lead him to a secluded area nearby and lets you spew your worries and panic to him.
He tells you you’re safe with him.
Reminds you that things would be ok and that with anxiety this is normal.
“It’ll pass soon. I know it doesn’t feel like it but it will, alright? How about this, tell me five things you can see right now.”
“Um - the ground. The tile.”
“Good, good. What else?”
“Your shoes. They’re uh - they’re kind of scuffed, you should get them cleaned.”
He laughs quietly. “What else, счастье моё?”
“The window.” Another encouraging hum for you to continue. “The hexgate outside. It’s glowing, some airship just came through.” Your eyes settle on the person in front of you. “You.”
Viktor smiles at you. “A little on the nose, huh?”
You smile back at him.
He helps you breathe again.
He always does.
