Yet again the first month in my journal after new year is March.

Also this week suddenly it was 20C outside after few weeks of cold and snowy weather and people reactions were very polarised, they either stayed in full winter attire or decided it’s time for shorts and flip-flops lol. I took the opportunity and went roller blading and apparently I need to get back on my medication because allergy season is already here 😔

Yesterday I started reading 1984 by George Orwell.But I have also started two other books namely 'Men of Mathematics' by E.T.Bell and 'Music Of Primes' by Marcus du Sautoy.I have also decided to buy Anna karenina by Tolstoy after reading a post about it by @theclassicalmind.

I’m having so much writer’s block trying to figure out a topic for the last chapter of my thesis. I have a vague constellation of related ideas but I just can’t them to coalesce into a clear argument yet, even after hours and hours of reading and brainstorming. I was really hoping to finally lock that down today so I could outline my intro tomorrow, but I think I’ll have to push everything back by at least a day to give myself more time on this... so frustrating to do an urban studies thesis on a city the pandemic has kept me from even visiting

What does FTC say?

It says that if a person takes the derivative of a function and then integrates it over a region on the number line say [a, b] then this is the same as evaluating the function on its endpoints.

What does the Green's Theorem say?

Green's Theorem is the fundamental theorem of calculus in 2 dimensions.Instead of taking the derivative of a single variable function we take the curl of a 2 variable function.Instead of integrating this over a number line we integrate it on the xy plane.Instead of evaluating the function at the two endpoints a and b and taking the difference, we take the line integral of the function and integrate it around the curve in a counterclockwise direction.

What does the stokes' theorem say?

Stokes' theorem is the fundamental theorem of calculus in 3 dimensions. Instead of taking the derivative of a single variable function, we take the three-dimensional curl. Instead of integrating this over a number line, we integrate it on the surface (To evaluate the surface integral one has to dot the vector field with unit normal vectors). Instead of evaluating the function at the two endpoints a and b and taking the difference, we take the line integral of the function and integrate it around the curve on a surface in a counterclockwise direction just like in Green's Theorem.

i made a reading challenge for myself :) because i realised that i read nearly all the books i own but we have so much more in our home that i never touched before. so i called this challenge my mom's bookshelf and i'm excited to read more of the books she bought at my age. i will track this challenge very losely (#mymomsbookshelf) and see how it works out. maybe some of you want to join me? just decide for a person you know well enough that you can actually borrow books from them and then start working your way through their bookshelf. it's a great way to get to know the other person and start book discussions!

Do you have a lot of work this summer?

The work is not a lot but I do need to be disciplined to get it all done.

What is the most important task that you need to complete this summer ?

I have to complete my mathematics assignments.These include Vector Calculus, Integral Calculus, Real Analysis, Linear algebra and Group theory.It might look like it's a lot but it is not.I have been struggling with Group theory assignment 3.It has been such a nightmare lol.I did speak to my maths professor about this and he said he will help me out.So a bit relived for that.

2_If you're into podcasts, be honest, what podcast was added to your list to listen to someday but is just there? also, please recommend us a podcast.

I would say that" The minimalist podcast" by Joshua Fields Milburn & Ryan Nicodemus which is about minimalism. On the other hand I would reccoment "Mujeres que no fueron tapa" by Wetoker which talks about argentinian women who are continuously forgotten by the society but are still there doing honorable things and that can inspire you either.
