It's been a little while since I've posted, and that's because I haven't physically been to university in a few months! I've been doing my summer uni semester online which has been much easier and allowed me to still feel like I have a break despite continuing my study.

2023 is the year of 21st birthdays for my friends and I; I've already been to so many and it's only February. Any one else turning 21 in 2023?

23.11.2021 & 24.11.2021 || 14+15/100 day of productivity

Practicals went really well and I am quite happy that I could answer everything correctly and complete the works in time. My Biology practical went especially well. My teacher was very happy with the experimental results and I am so glad that I didn't make any mistakes as I did during the practice. All the stress was worth the relief in the end.

Today my goals were:

23rd November:

Give the Chemistry and Physics Practical Exams

Submit the journals

Prepare for the Biology Practicals

24th November:

Give the Biology Practicals

Relax

Do some physics sample papers

Now onto the Winter Study Challenge❄:

Day Eleven: What element do you feel most connected to and why? (Earth, Air, Fire, Water)

I feel the most connected to fire, because of how it is never steady and how it provides warmth to everyone around. I also relate to how sometimes, it takes a while to light the fire just like it takes me time to adjust to a new situation or begin again.

Day Twelve: Do you ever wish that you could go back in time and change something about your life? If you did, what would be different now?

I wish to change all the times I procrastinated and didn't do anything productive. I think I would have much less stress and worries now if I could change them.

hi hello and welcome to my studyblr! i actually started this awhile ago but after going ia for a bit i’ve finally come back to (hopefully) post more frequently! so here’s a bit of an intro!

hi! my name is natti and i go by they/them pronouns! i’m currently in my second semester of university where i’m majoring in psychology. i also self-study korean, german, and italian on the side. something to know about me is that I ult the group stray kids so you’ll probably see them a bit on this blog :]

☁️why start a studyblr?

mainly for accountability. i always like scrolling through studyblrs for a bit of motivation and maybe i’ll give that same motivation to someone else!

seungmin from stray kids is their self-appointed “dandy boy”. he is always seen to be very diligent especially in his studies and is a huge inspiration for me!

I have no idea how the heck it became Week 10. I’m getting marks back for my first few assessments and man, I could be doing better. My writing subjects are going fairly well, but the same cannot be said for my business subjects. I’m just so preoccupied with my YouTube channel and babysitting and Heartstopper and well,,, anything but study. Which is unfortunate, because I do like studying.

I’m currently sitting in the library with a coffee analysing a book for one of my writing assessments. Hopefully this one is a high distinction guys! Any advice for getting my head in the game is highly appreciated.

Finally, university has returned! I’m yet to go to a tutorial (on account of the campuses still recovering from being flooded), but I’ve watched the newest lectures and I’m excited for what’s to come this semester. I’m studying Business and Creative Industries (first year for the former, third year for the latter).

My temp job isn’t quite done yet, but it should be in the next couple of weeks. I’m relieved because it’ll allow me to focus on uni, but I’ll miss the much better income.

I enjoy writing and I’m very good at it, but all my temp jobs have just been data filling. Does anyone have any suggestions for genuine ways to earn money as a writer while studying full-time?

28.1.2022 & 29.1.2022 || 23+24/100 days of productivity

This week was spent making notes for all the backlog that I have accumulated. I am trying to speed up revision as much as possible, and I have been aiming to complete something from 11th and 12th everyday. This has also been a test taking week for me, as I have been giving part syllabus and full syllabus mock tests all week. It is tedious to revise all the stuff in a very limited time frame, but since I am getting decent marks, it's all fine ig.

I have my practical exams on Tuesday and that's all that has been on my mind these days. I am in a state of panic because there are some parts I am yet to complete for the upcoming exam but I am hoping for the best and working towards taking necessary preparations.

Today my goals were:

19th November-

Study physics

Work on the physics practical journal

Study a bit of biology for the practice test on Saturday.

20th November-

Complete the practice test

Search up Viva Voce questions and practice them

Complete the Chemistry Practical Journal.

Now for the Winter Studying Challenge❄:

Day Seven: What movies have you been watching lately? What movies would you recommend to others?

Honestly, I haven't been able to find the time to watch movies and it's sad but I am hoping to watch one when the term 1 gets over. I would recommend people to watch the Studio Ghibli movies because they are so serene and heartwarming that you're sure to have a good time watching them

Day Eight: Do you speak any other languages? What is your favourite word or phrase in each language you speak?

I speak in three languages, Hindi, Bengali and English. My favourite words from the three languages are Serendipity (E), Jijivisha/जिजीविषा (H) and তিতিক্ষা/Titiksha (B)

25.11.2021 & 26.11.2021 || 16+17/100 days of productivity

School's off once more and time is flying past. I can't believe the exams are here already. This year went past me so quick that it still feels like a dream. I still remember gearing up for the last year of schooling before getting into college and now here we are, at the end of term 1, three days before the exams. The days were packed with revision, panic and certain rare clam moments and I strongly feel that's how the rest of the days will be like until all the exams complete🤍

My goals for the days were:

25th November

Sample Paper Solving

Revising physics

Making and studying past notes

26th November

Searching up some more sample papers

Going out to get some fresh air

Study, and then plan the things I am going to do after exams get over :)

Now for the Winter Study Challenge❄:

Day Thirteen: How do you feel about taking a "self-care day" and not studying for a day or two?

I support it. Working endlessly without a break or a stop, will always end up tiring you and making studying stressful rather than making it fun, a cycle which would end in procrastination. So yes, it's good and advisable to take a day or two off as self care days and do something other than studying.

Day Fourteen: What do you think you add to this world?

I think I add optimism, a new point of view, and a bright mind to this world <3
