The spookiest month of the year is here! 

I’m up to my ears in university work, but I’m holding my head pretty high all the same. I’m determined to come out of this semester and feel proud of myself. I love studying, even though it has its challenges, and I hope I can continue to do it for a long time. My only work at the moment is semi-frequent babysitting/nannying, which I’m very good at but doesn’t bring in a lot of money. But as long as I don’t place all my self-worth on my financial situation, I’ll be alright.

hey all ! it’s been a while since i made my own post.

here are some highlights and lowlights (anyone else listen to gals on the go?)

lowlights:

☽ i’ve struggled with gathering mental and physical energy to do my work

☽ i’ve spent lots of time on mandatory events, classes, and assignments that i don’t particularly enjoy (as much as i love my extra curriculars and my majors, there are aspects to them i don’t always enjoy)

☽ because of these two points, i haven’t spent as much time on my studyblr as i would like

highlights:

✰ i’ve created room for activities with friends that i genuinely enjoy and don’t feel obligated to do

✰ i’m representing the organizations i’m a part of with pride — whether on a shirt, instagram, or stickers, i’m actively choosing to remember why i choose to be a part of them

I made churros today! My 7 pointed star was small so they were also small :( but they tasted great and that’s all that matters! Also pro tip, never make a chocolate sauce from a chocolate you don’t like.

I absolutely adoreee these books.

Story time! When I was little my mum wouldn’t let me read any Sidney Sheldon books because apparently they were too mature for me at the time. (I remember sneakily reading a scene when she wasn’t home and in it a man ‘entered’ a woman and I was so confused. I almost asked my mom if women had a door in them or something skhbejdi) Anyways!!! She’s finally allowed me to read his books and ngl I’m a little hyped !
