I saw one scruffy older Cora-san design and had to draw my take on it immediately, with a bonus Law to fill space.

You can say a lot of things about One Piece Odyssey, but it did give us a Law & Cora tag-team fight in which Law shambled to the location of Cora's bullets and that is just objectively cool.

Simple sketches of the loves. Oda draws Law like a 6 year old when that little guy is like 13 right?? He’s a shitty little traumatized 13 year old??? I wanted to draw him more 13 and less baby (though I won’t lie I love all the art of little law all small and squish).

Smth I’d love to see more of is if when ppl talk about Law’s family, they don’t just erase or forget about his actual birth family from the equation. I def understand why a lot of ppl focus on Cora. As someone who loves Cora, I get it, I do. But the fact that his parents are the foundation of why he’s a doctor - why he’s a surgeon?

That’s JUST AS important to remember and factor in as Cora’s involvement in his story.

Cora didn’t just show him love, he also reminded Law of the Love his own family gave him before everything that happened. And I think perhaps the reason he doesn’t speak or often thinks about his blood family is because THAT’S the loss that he holds so closely within him and still hurts when he thinks about it. I think what Cora did also reminded him that by living freely, it brings a type of justice to having lost his family.

Obsessed with the way that Stiles spends ALL DAY with Peter and Cora listening to the tragic story of Dereks first love. Like...it's broad daylight when that story starts, and by the time they wrap things its nighttime. Stiles didn't even really need to be at the loft either, he just showed up to check if Derek was still MIA, and then the boy stayed and listened to a whole story. Stiles Stilinski isn't usually shy about telling people to get to the goddamn point either, so you know his ass was captivated.

Half of that episode was just Stiles chilling with the Hale's, learning the first bit of Dereks tragic backstory and eating it UP.

I’ve mentioned it before but I’m a fucking sucker for unhealthy dependent relationships. There’s just something about them that is so. Chef’s kiss 👌

Anyway I’m still thinking about how Law was so attached to Cora and was so traumatized by his death that he literally devoted thirteen YEARS of his life to revenge killing Doflamingo. Even though all Cora ever wanted was for Law to just be free and live his life happily. And Law spending all his time in a hateful revenge spiral is literally the exact OPPOSITE of what Cora wanted for him. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. If the thirteen years of endless devotion to avenging his savior wasn’t enough Law 1. Named his pirate crew the Heart Pirates in honor of Cora, 2. Covered himself in permanent heart-themed tattoos in honor of Cora, and 3. Fashioned his Jolly Roger to be a mockery of Doflamingo’s and ALSO to honor Cora. Homie is a walking memorial for a man he only really knew for six months and again crafted the most intricate plan known to mankind to murder Cora’s killer. Because losing Cora fucked him up THAT much. Because even though Cora set him free, the moment Doflamingo shot him Law was chained to the memory of a man who no longer existed. Law literally fashioned his entire life down to his own appearance after Cora and it makes me so insane. I cannot even imagine what went through his head after Dressrosa I mean how do you move on after a thirteen year grudge is put to rest. What is he supposed to do now. Avenging Cora was literally his entire existence, his entire reason for living for half of his life. He needs therapy probably. If Cora somehow ever did come back to life Law would lose his fucking mind. The dependency is SO unhealthy and I am SO here for it
