EREN THE SOUTHPAW: dopo il drama in arrivo anche una versione anime del manga di Kappi
La storia nasce da un incontro fortuito fra un modesto designer pubblicitario in cerca di successo e un'artista geniale e riconosciuta.
Annunciato con un tweet direttamente dall'autore stesso, il manga "EREN THE SOUTHPAW" (Hidarikiki no Eren) sta per ispirare un anime.
Non si è sbottonato su altri dettagli, quindi per sapere quando dovrebbe arrivare e chi si sta occupando dell'adattamento, dovremo attendere ancora un po'.
Koichi Asakura è un giovane designer di un'agenzia pubblicitaria. Lavora sempre sodo, ma non vede mai l'ombra di un riconoscimento. Dopo essere stato escluso da un progetto nel quale si era impegnato con tutto se stesso, si reca in un luogo legato al suo passato, in cerca di risposte e conforto. Lì si imbatte in Eren Yamagishi, una geniale artista mancina, i cui graffiti sono sulla bocca di tutti a New York.
Le loro vite sono molto diverse, ma ad uno sguardo più attento, ugualmente piene di ostacoli.
In origine, il manga è stato pubblicato da Kappi solamente online. La serializzazione di questa prima versione è avvenuta fra il 2016 e il 2017 (curiosamente l'annuncio indica l'adattamento di questa versione originale). Da lì in poi ne è stata lanciata una versione remake, illustrata da Nifuni e conclusasi quest'anno a quota 24 volumi.
Dall'opera è già stata tratta una serie live action di 10 episodi, trasmessa nel 2019.

Cartoon Network has licensed Kappi’s original manga, Eren the Southpaw. Since 2016, Kappa has been publishing this work in parts. In October 2017, Shonen Jump + started giving out the updated version. Eren, the southpaw Anime Based on the manga series “Hidarikiki no Eren,” this anime follows the adventures of a young boy named Eren. In October of this year, 2019, a real-life drama was filmed. Koichi Asakura and Ellen Yamagishi, two brilliant young designers at a big advertising agency, are the focus of this youth group drama. Both perspectives establish parallels between pain, difficulties, etc. The author, Kappa, also made a statement in the tweet that the animation promoted.In 2017, Shueisha’s Shounen Jump + digital service published the manga in serial form. In the end, it included 206 chapters spread throughout 42 books. Kappy created the story and artwork for Eren the Southpaw, and the webcomic was first published on the cakes web manga site. Once Shueisha acquired the rights to the material, Nifuni provided the illustrations. Shihei Lin was in charge of editing the manga for Eren the Southpaw.Eren The Southpaw Anime: Official Announcement!In 2017, a new manga version came out on Shonen Jump+. This time, the art style was nifuni. If all the legal problems can be worked out by October 2022, an anime version of the book will come out soon after. Shueisha put out the last collected volume of the manga on Friday. However, It includes issues #24 and #23. In October 2019, Netflix will debut a live-action adaptation of the manga. just throwing in random thoughts.. so i could sleep..(this is edited.. now that im kinda sober)
IF it is really Ririka that beat the former President in the gamble..
When Sayaka claims she admired the current President performance to the point she wants to be by her side (remember her target of affection is "Kirari") .. is because Ririka is projecting "Kirari" (perfectly well by the way until we as audience as well as the characters become aware of the "switch" and Ririka's existence) - as a Ririsaya shipper it's like a mini rainbow..
So when Kirari done the "interview" she become fascinated with Sayaka especially when she says "Was it really you?" proving the unconscious skill Sayaka have..unless the interview was done by Ririka and report it Kirari (I just thought that Kirari is much facinated when she is comfronted than having things reported to her.. i dont know.. we're not close.. lol)
So KiraSayas and Kirari's fans could still have a win on that argument of who is who beat the former President since Ririka is just projecting Kirari and just happens to be a really good gambler and wins..and we know Kirari could also beat FP since she could mess things up to make odds be ever in her favor and hey she got knowledge with gamble deals in's and outs. Let's all be friends! - me having to read 56 reddit discussions (and 103 comments) regarding this😅
The twins have distinct style and goals when gambling..- in what I've seen so far..
"as long as its fun.. come what may! I just happen to have so much luck" - Kirari in a nutshell
"im the goddess of gamblers as long as it wont leave me astray with the goal.." - Ririka as a gambler
and I would like to think that the twins have plans to give a huge FU to the Bami's.. including dominating the school and up the game of its gambling den with the pet system.. then breed Mary as their "protagonist".. but Yumeko is a huge force in the whole plan so they kinda want to put her on "leash" for now and she could give so much fun (ask Kirari.. ) and now that Ririka is crawling her way up to her own existence will give a strain on what makes the twins out of reach of the Bami's (ask Terano..)but i think it will just make Kirari excited (our girl is really great when under pressure and do things while smiling with intentions)..
I haven't seen the anime nor the live action.. though I know that Nakamura Yurika and Ikeda Elaiza is yet again together in Kakegurui as Sayaka and Kirari/Ririka) after Boku wa Mari no naka and Hidarikiki no Eren..anyway this is just my perspective after reading the manga..
Was Ririka really a cinnamon roll (she's quite cold than Kirari in the manga though).. Mary seems to have the frontrow with that so I'm confused.. though its obvious that Ririka wants to explore her individuality so let's cheer her..😊

Okay okay okay Elaiza Ikeda (who plays Kirari Momobami in the live action Kakegurui) and Yurika Nakamura (who plays Sayaka Igarashi in the live action Kakegurui) have played each others’ wlw love interest three fucking times.
First was Boku wa Mari no Naka (literally, “Inside Mari”) which I’ve actually watched and it’s a very interesting drama that was shot very well – I recommend checking it out. It takes like 4-5 hours to binge watch the whole thing.
Then was Kakegurui and, as far as I can tell, nothing has been explored on-screen yet but like it’s both well-known and established in the manga and anime that Kirari and Sayaka are a Thing™
And NOW they’re playing love interests again in a new drama based on a manga called Hidarikiki no Eren (literally “Southpaw Ellen” or “Left-handed Ellen”).
Oh and Elaiza Ikeda played another wlw in AI – Watashi To Kanojo To Jinkou Chinou (AI: I, She, and Artificial Intelligence), apparently.
Like........Harold.

This drama pissed me off a lot, but the relationship between these two was kinda cute, I'm actually disappointed it wasn't a girl love (they were just friends and coworkers, what a shame).
