She's still a huge work in progress but her name is Selene :))
She is an energy vampire sort of entity where she herself is mainly made of energy and needs to take it from other people in order to survive. I'm still deciding on it, but I want to give her a "high energy state" as I've temporarily named it, where she can move much faster, have more strength, etc, etc....

Bad Nerves- PopPunk?
Badnerves is a newer PopPunk/ Hyperpop band from London. The fourpiece band makes highly energetic music.
I can speake from experienece, taht their concerts do not lack any of that energy live ! At first I was afraid, that the singer wouldn`t sound anywhere near the same as on the album, but, to my suprise, he sounded exactly the same !
And -Safe to say- the crowd was going nuts !

WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION MAGAZINE : JANUARY 1993
BATTLE OF THE TITANS Money Inc. & The Beverly Brothers VS The Natural Disasters & High Energy
By Lou Gianfriddo
Transcript Below!!!!
IN July, WWF Officials signed an explosive eight-man tag team match that pitted then–WWF Tag Team Champions Earthquake and Typhoon, and High Energy, Owen Hart and Koko B. Ware, against Money Inc., The Million Dollar man Ted Dibiase and IRS, and Beau and Blake Beverly. As it turned out, This Eight-man extravaganza changed each duo’s destiny.
These foursomes went at it fist and fire from the opening bell. They exchanged complex wrestling maneuvers such as fireman carry takedowns and abdominal stretches, High Energy dazzled the opposition with stunning aerial tactics. They hit their opponents with double dropkicks and deep arm drags off the ropes.
The Rocket Owen Hart recalls’ “We were up against four highly skilled competitors. Everybody knows that Money Inc. and the Beverly Brothers can do it all in the ring. So Koko and I decided to take it to them.”
|| Last summer the WWF witnessed a stunning eight-man tag team blow-out. It featured High Energy and The Natural Disasters against Money Inc. and The Beverly Brothers.||
That they did. High Energy dominated the competition for a long duration. However, things changed when the Birdman fell prey to the vicious quadruple-teaming tactics. Dibase and Irs took turns battering Koko in their corner while the referee’s attention was diverted. Then Beaus and Blake opened up on Koko with vicious big boots to the midsection and a barrage of punches. The strategy was simple. Money Inc. and the Beverly Brothers cut off Koko from his partners. They had their reasons to do so. They say they didn't want Koko to tag Owen, who was fresh on the apron. Furthermore, they add, they didn’t want Koko to tag the Disasters, who were also fresh and full of fight and fury. Additionally, the brothers and Money Inc. admit they didn’t want to contend with the Disasters' prodigious power.
“That’s what you call smart tag team wrestling,” snaps DiBiase. “We stayed on the Birdbrain because we didn’t want him to tag the Disasters. We didn’t want to contend with their power and strength. We admit it; we’re not fools. So, we decided to beat the daylights out of Koko.”
Beau Beverly agrees. “When Money Inc. and the Bevs took on the Disasters and High Energy, we had one thought on our minds, and that was to single out the weak link and pound him into the mat. We tried to do just that to Koko B. Ware.  We kicked him. We punched him. We tried to do everything that we could to incapacitate him.” They tried, but it didn't work. After sustaining a tremendous beating at the hands of his tormentors, the Birdman finally tagged Earthquake.
The 468-pounder was fired up and ready to go, and he wanted to tear apart anything in his path. Earthquake unloaded on both duos. He hammered them down with big forearms to the neck and back. He nearly collapsed their chest cavities with crunching kicks to the sternum.
From there, Earthquake tagged Typhoon, and together the behemoths directed their rage toward the Brothers. They Irish-whipped Beau and Blake into a corner. Then, before they knew it, the Disasters pancaked them with a double avalanche.
The Brothers wobbled out from the corner and fell to the mat. They were in severe pain. Beau clutched his chest, and it seemed as if he could not breathe properly. Blake held his lower midsection, indicative of possible rib injury or internal damage.
The Disasters say this was a major turning point in the match.
“After the Quake and I Careened into the Beverly Sisters just like a hurricane crashing over a sea wall, we knew that the end of the match was near,” Typhoon recollects. “We just felt it. When we made contact with them, Quake and I both felt their bodies falter. We knew they couldn’t withstand any more punishment. So, at that point, the Disasters and High Energy went for the gusto, brother.”
That they did. The Disasters and their partners captured the moment and expanded all their effort in order to put away their debilitated adversaries.
They divided and conquered. The Disasters kept Dibiase and IRS at bay, while High Energy battled the Beverly Brothers. Koko and Owen hammered their foes with monkey flips and double clotheslines. Then, when chaos enveloped the contest, the Rocket used his lightning-like quickness and sharp wrestling skills to cover Beau. The referee was in position and registered the three-count. Since then, each team has basked in glory. Money Inc. went on to defeat the Disasters for the WWF Tag Team Title and then rejoined the Beverly Brothers to face the Disasters and the Nasty boys at the Survivor Series last month. High Energy continues to dominate the WWF Tag team division. They have faced scores of top tag team tandems, such as the Head Shrinkers, who High Energy also battled at the Series.

Gratitude Journal
While putting on my new pajamas last night, I found my missing sock stuck in the sleeve.
This was a good moment to end the night on, because during the day we'd experienced a big disappointment. We're replacing our driveway, and to cut down the cost, Noah was doing the demo work himself. He rented a machine and had gotten the knack of it, but then a hydraulic hose burst. Not his fault, he was using the machine properly, had taken breaks to let it cool down, etc. So this was hugely disappointing because:
since it's technically a holiday weekend, Noah would have the machine for three days for the price of one.
This sets back our timeline for driveway replacement a couple of weeks.
Now that the driveway is probably broken up, we can't use it while we wait, and that means
We have to fight to claim parking space in front of our own house, because our neighbors have 6 vehicles
This was all very frustrating, especially because there's literally no action to take. Everything's closed.
But finding that sock at the end of the day was a high note. It's one of my favorite socks (one of my favorite pairs?), I wear them every other week. (They're ankle height, they're fuzzy, and the elastic doesn't dig in uncomfortably.) I'd spent a long time looking for it after finishing laundry. I unfolded and refolded all my shirts and pants, reorganized and culled my sock drawer, and checked in the lint trap, in the spaces between the washing machine and dryer and the walls, etc. I'd given up.
But the sock literally gave me hope.
I tend to be a pessimist, but today I woke up and believed we'd get the driveway replaced. Not as soon as we'd like, but it would happen. Not quite as cheap as we'd like, but it would happen.
And then I did tons of dishes, swept the floor, brushed the rug, and did another load of laundry, interspersing all the chores with physical therapy exercises, all while listening to music and podcasts. And I feel good.
I don't often get high energy days like this, and I don't know how long it will last, but I'm taking note and writing about it and appreciating that it's happening.
And it started with a sock. (Which my phone wants to autocorrect to "dick," which is funny.)

Golden Boy Denton 11/18
Maxxe plays their first set together as a band, playing at a local coffee shop in Denton alongside three other local talents
Tumblr media
On Saturday night at a local coffee shop in Denton, four local bands came together to put up a gig, consisting of punk and rock elements. Wildhearts opened with a portrayal of incredible talent at a younger age, exuding prodigious stage presence. Themes related to an audience of uncertainty towards the future in recent times, as well as guitar riffs that match the creativity of some of the greats. The lead singer Itor embodies the angst of a garage band supported by a four man band, which shows their diversity later in the set with a prom-love type song. Overall Wildhearts has been in the scene for a bit, and continues to grow through being themselves
Dead Stereo consisted of three people, but brought the sound of four. Their loud screamo music with dense bass and the flair of drums made the music sound familiar yet new. Their music carried heavy metal and punk rock elements which was captured by the frequent tempo changes in their high energy songs. The last band, Rebomb, also carried this same formula with an interesting twist; the drummer ended up singing, carrying the energy of the night up until the very end. Playing a mix of grunge and heavy metal covers as well as some of their own songs, such as their psychedelic sounding heavy metal single, Blistery. These bands show heavy potential for moshing with the right crowd on hand.
Maxxe debuted their set with some excellent instrumental demonstrations, considering they’ve only been together for around 6 months. The bassist Kenny has a soothing attitude that meshes well with the more hectic and exciting personality of Vienna, all supported by the drummer Andrew who happens to be in another band! Together they put on a great first show that had many supporters to make them feel at home on the stage. Maxxe rumors to have their next show in Oklahoma, further showing they are committed to only getting better…
Overall this show was exactly what I needed in life lately. Built up stress leads to losing focus sometimes, and this show was the perfect reminder of what I’m in the game for and working towards. These shows brought friends, supporters, and people overall together to all enjoy the one common language we share, all while feeling like I’m in the crowd of a guitar hero game.💫
