Rose glanced over at Evan, awaiting a response. Instead, she heard the familiar rustle of pages as Evan buried himself deeper into his book. She sighed, turning to face him. Sure enough, he was lost in his own world, oblivious to her question.

"Blackwood," she called out, her patience waning. "Oh, for the love of—Blackwood! Could you put that book down for a minute?!"

Evan emitted an exasperated sigh, reluctantly lowering his book. He glanced over his shoulder at Rose, who leaned against the kitchen counter, clearly perturbed.

"Just so you know, I was reading something important."

"Yeah, like what?"

"If you're so interested, come take a look."

Rose rolled her eyes and approached Evan, who sat comfortably in his favorite chair. She peered over his shoulder, noticing that he wasn't reading a book but instead perusing a classified document. A picture of a young man with a bright smile and piercing blue eyes adorned the page.

"Who's this?" Rose inquired.

"Axl Heck."

"He's kind of cute."

"Well, he's your next assignment."

Rose scoffed and shook her head as she retreated to the kitchen. "I'm not getting involved in another mess like that."

"You act as if you have a choice," Evan retorted, setting the folder aside. Rising from his seat, he faced Rose. "It wasn't your fault, Rose. You need to—"

"Do you want cheese on your sandwich?" Rose interjected, focusing on the task at hand.

Evan sighed. "Yes, please."

As Rose reached for the cheese, she sensed Evan's presence behind her. She turned to face him, meeting his gaze. She could see the determination in his eyes, understanding that this assignment held significance for him.

"You have to do this case with me," Rose insisted, a faint smirk tugging at Evan's lips. "I'm not going through this alone. You're my partner, after all. If I go down, you go down with me."

"Fine by me," Evan agreed, taking a step back. "I've already done my homework on this one. We'll figure it out together."

"Deal. Just don't let me down, Blackwood."

Evan grinned. "Only if you promise not to do the same."

as a theatre kid working theatre professional myself i feel a transcendental sort of kinship with this little shit. love her

theres this scene that haunts me forever (ok many of them do actually. but i want to talk about one in particular) where they ask you whats your favorite musical and the options are wicked, hamilton, and "i prefer straight plays" and i understand them including basic normie options cause who the fuck would choose like sunday in the park or ragtime given the option. so i chose "i prefer straight plays" since ive never actually done a musical in my career lmfao and the characters react like "oouuuu you're sooo weird" which literally made me insecure and embarrassed in real life. lol

i chose to romance ajay not cause i like him or whatever but because i NEEDED to inspect him under a microscope like a little bug. hes literally me as a freshman in conservatory trying to show off referencing brecht and artaud and im sorry but GAG but also SLAY

Genuary2024 prompt Dream/Imagination

Why Gene signing "Like a Commet" (Steven Universe) for this first prompt?

Well cause you need a lot of imagination to think it XD

Kidding, uhm this is confidential information but I kinda been thinking about making a comic with Gene as the protegonist, I won't say anything else. Second protagonist Jimmy Jr. Okay nothing else. Is about Gen in his first year of High Schol. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THIS.

So the comic start with Gene dreaming of his first day in high school and the dream is Gene singing "Like a Comet" in front of the whole school everyone calling their name and cheering for them.

Rebuscado? Rebuscadisimo. Which mean over elaborate and overthinked. But it was the first thing I thought.

Oh and there's some reference to "The Frond Files" and other episodes specially on Gene's keyboard.

I personally hc that the Bear Of Vengeance and Toy Chica High School Days cutscenes in UCN were basically the five kids playing dolls. The Bear Of Vengeance cutscenes especially, that really gives off the vibe of "I hit you with my laser that kills you instantly" "I block it with my everything-proof shield" shit kids do. (And as a former nine year old girl who really loved Doki Doki Literature Club and was really fucked up, the Toy Chica High Schol Days cutscenes being that brutal is accurate.)

This headcanon makes me feel immense emotions, as the kids are getting to be kids, something they didn't get because they died, something they can finally get now that they're free of the animatronic suits (and if you wanna feel more emotions consider the theory that FNAF World is Charlie's way of helping the kids pass on and get their happiest day).

And it is also fucking hilarious.

William Afton is busy fighting all of the ghosts of all the people he killed, and between that he is either listening to Mr Hippo tell a lovely story about him and his friend Orville having a picnic, or watching a bunch of nine year olds do Warrior Cats rp. This man murdered six people and his punishment in hell is being subjected to silly little guys being cringe and free. In between his Sisyphean torment of playing FNAF, he either listens to Mr Hippo's lovely stories about having a picnic with Orville, or watches the kids he did murder on play dolls, and he just cannot escape. It enhances the experience so fucking much
