Ipsy is around $11 a month for 5 deluxe sample, sometimes full sized beauty products. REN Clean Skincare Evercalm Barrier Support Antioxidant Moisturizer full-size $50 I have another moisturizer from REN that I really like, so I’m excited to try this one. I like having these deluxe sized samples of skincare products to really test stuff out. Beautaniq Beauty Caffeine Eye Cream $18 I have been…

Hi guys,
Today we are talking dupes! I recently ran out of my Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand in shade Fair - Medium and can't find a replacement anywhere! I'm not surprised to be honest that the wand is sold out because it blends like a dream and effortlessly contours your face. My wand lasted about a year so it was a good investment but it means for now I need an alternative.
Looking on Tiktok where we all find the answers to everything in this day and age I saw a few videos where people were comparing the Hollywood Contour Wand to the Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer in the shade Caramel. I have tried this concealer in other shades for concealing and highlighting but never contour so it didn't cross my mind to start with. After finding some discount codes I decided to order it and try myself.
In terms of packaging both products are very similar with their cushion applicators however as you can see CT is a deeper shade then the Revolution concealer I picked up. My fault really because I should have got Deep Caramel which would have been an exact colour match. Colour aside the actual formula blends out very similarly to one another giving me the perfect contour finish. The Revolution side is a slightly warmer shade which I would say is similar to doing contour with a bronzer shade. The CT colour is more cool toned and a true contour colour which you would expect.
Overall for now I'm happy with my dupe but still on the hunt for my Hollywood Contour Wand to come back into stock (hopefully sooner than later) because let's face it you can't always dupe a CT product. If you want to check out the Revolution dupe I have linked it above.
Lots of love

Just saw a Palestinian baby be delivered through an emergency c-section from her mother’s burnt corpse (victim of the camp bombing) by doctors who had no more than a scalpel and alcohol wipes only to swipe and see an American born and raised pro-Israel woman claim that shes scared for her life in a TikTok while dressed in nice clothes, full face of makeup, and in one of the most luxurious bathrooms i’ve ever seen. Went to her Tiktok and seen all the videos she’s done shopping at highend stores and fine dining his week.
The jokes write themselves.

ah ok any tinted moisturizer or bb cream (i like the maybelline bb cream) try to match the shade to your jawline but since it’s not a foundation its ok to be a little off since it’s sheer! i also love the maybelline fit me concealer (i’ve used like 4 tubes and still go back) i use that just to cover dark spots or any acne.
honestly if youre trying to stay natural theres no need to contour or anything. but some blush is nice and adds color back to your face! i like cream blushes (the milani ones are great! pick a shade you like or go by your skin tone- id give a color rec but idk your skin tone lol)
some mascara is always good! you don’t really need eyeliner imo. and for lips, some lipgloss or tinted chapstick is great! i like the maybelline lip lifter lip gloss but also theres other great ones! and for tinted chapstick i go for burt’s bees.
if you want any other recs or color recs or something (or if you want a more highend rec for any product) let me know!
i love makeup and exploring it even though i always wear a natural look lol
AHHH thank you so much!! do you use a beauty blender or? also do you share test your concealer the same way?

Ulta Haul & Review - March '23
Tumblr media
Slight reup! [+tt included]
Author's Note:
Hi babes, this haul actually happened in February [and was supposed to be released then] but ya know how shit gets. I still wanted to share this though, especially now! Since I've had time to actually try the products out.
I've updated the blog to have my reviews ;)
.
.
.
Ya girl has been itching for new makeup and luckily, I was blessed with an Ulta gift card 🫶🏽 So y’all already know, I raaaan to Ulta! I bought majority drugstore products & one high-end item.
I watched a few YouTube vids and TikTok’s to get me up to date with what’s new since I don’t really keep up with makeup news like that anymore. And, honestly? I’m super happy with my purchases + can’t wait to try them out.
Here’s what I bought,
HIGHEND:
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer — Soooo excited to try this! This is my second (I’m pretty sure) NARS product and it’s honestly been a cult favorite since I got into makeup in 2015/16. Type embarrassed it took me so long to try 🫣
The Verdict: Don't fight me cause I know y'all like to tussle but honestly.. this ain't all that..? Like it’s def creamy and thick but I don't understand the hype over it..? It's a regular concealer. I'd pass and save the $$. It does what any regular concealer will do. 5/10
DRUGSTORE:
Elf Holy Hydration Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm — I use the Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm but this one peaked my interest so I decided to give it a try.
The Verdict: Does what it states but that's it. It's nothing special. I won't be repurchasing and will be going back to Versed. 5/10
L’Oréal Infallible 24hr Fresh Wear Foundation — I really want to perfect my base make up this year and wanted something medium-to-high coverage & all the reviews were raving about this one so I’ll let y’all know!
The Verdict: AMAZING! It's medium to FULL coverage, doesn't dry immediately, doesn't feel heavy on the skin either but covers everythingg! It def lives up to the hype and has become my go-to foundation. 10/10
Elf Power Grip Primer — Been meaning to try this primer for a minute now! I heard it’s a dupe for the Milk Hydrogrip Primer and I can’t wait to test it out.
The Verdict: Another 10 outta 10. Lives up to the hype and really grasps onto your base, helping it last!
LA Pro Girl Concealer — My old reliable. I’ll never stop using this concealer. Ever. I love using this as my “foundation” too.
The Verdict: A cult classic. I'll always recommend. 10/10
Juvia’s Place Blush Duo in Volume 4 — Another dupe 🫣 This time apparently for the viral pink Dior blush! I def want to get the Dior one but I want to save up and do a big high-end haul. Plus, I’ve heard amazing things about Juvia’s Place so why not give them a try? The lighter pink seems pretty similar to the Dior blush and even if it’s not exact, it’s still pretty af! The deeper shade is pretty as well, I’ll probably leave it for Fall time though..
The Verdict: Such a beautiful blush. Super pigmented and lasts long. Alsooo, lives up to the hype. 10/10
NYX Butter Glosses — In shades: Fortune Cookie, Crème Brûlée - I love these glosses! Affordable but amazing quality! Not sticky & super pigmented.
The Verdict: I already knew I loved the formula so I picked up some new shades I didn't have. Perfects shades to make the prettiest nude lip. 10/10
Milani Gilded Eyeshadow Palette in shade: Whiskey Business — Okay, so this is another dupe.. alleged “dupe” because I’m not 100% sure. BUT, I thinkkkk it’s similar [enough] to the Artist Couture Mini Supreme Nudes Matte Eyeshadow Palette! I wanna splurge on it but $30 for a MINI palette with 8 shadows? Mmm.. Chile.. Anyway;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As y’all can see, the shades are pretty similar! I think I’ll def be able to achieve the looks I’m going for if the pigment pay off is good!
The Verdict: I wanted to love this. I wanted this to be amazing. It.. was not. The color story is perfect but the shadows lack soo much pigment. I really had to pack the shadow on and even then, it didn't make much of a difference. That being said, it's not WOC friendly. Ugh, ode wack. On top of the poor pigmentation, the shadows were chalky + had a lot of fallout.
While the price point is great, the product itself could be better. I think this could work with someone with very, very fair skin but if you got any type of color to you, pass on this. 3/10
.
.
.
Until next time,
I hope y’all enjoyed this latest post! Let me know your latest pickups, current faves, and your opinions on the products I picked up! Did they work for you or na?

Ipsy Glam Bag April 2022
The Ipsy glam bag is $12 (?) a month and contains 5 deluxe sample sized (sometimes full sized) beauty products. Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer “4- Can’t Stop Light Cool” $24 full size I have been curious about the Benefit Boi-ing concealer in the past, so I’m excited to see it included in my Ipsy. I’m particularly interested to see how it will wear under my eyes. I think the shade I got…

My favorite eyeshadows of all time from @makeupgeekcosmetics! I have been a MUG user since 2012 or 2013 and have been a loyal user ever since. I haven't found one that's pigmented and blendable enough that is very close to Makeup Geek. I tried other eyeshadows (highend and affordable) that are pigmented yet very hard to blend because they are quite chalky and messy at the same time. There's just too much fallout and I hate it. Some highend eyeshadows are quite an effort to work with and not worth the price tag. MUG eyeshadows are available locally at @mupstore for those that are interested to try. . . . #makeupgeekcosmetics #makeupgeekeyeshadows #makeup #skincare #skincareproducts #skincareessentials #skincaretips #skincareph #skincarejunkie #skincarecommunity #glowyskin #glowingskin #glowgasm #glowgoals #microblogger #microbloggerph #microblog #microblogging #bloggerph #beautybloggerph #blogger #beautyblogger #influencer #influencerph #beauty #beautybloggers #beautyblog #beautytips #skincareblogger (at Makati) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0uyc8lHQ9b/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Hi guys,
Like I’ve said before dying Black Friday I picked up some really good bargains so I wanted to show you a product I really think would make a good gift idea. Benefit Cosmetics has been a brand that over the years I’ve used bits and bobs from but I picked up something recently that’s made me fall in love with it all again. I have always loved their powder products blush, highlighter and and bronzer/ contour and these products always last a really long time. Before I used to get mini powder products which were £12 each and honestly really good value for money considering how long lasting they are.
I picked up the Pink Squad face palette which at the time was £38.00 from £52.00 such a bargain! And in here you got 5 full sized blushers, contour / bronzers and a highlighter which Individually would cost £20 each. Palettes like these from Benefit are such good value because you’re getting full sized products all in one place for a much cheaper price. I decided to use the Pink Squad palette out of the collection because the shades complimented my fairer skin tone. In this palette you get two gorgeous blushers one is a baby pink shade and the other is a more shiney wanted tone coral pink which surprisingly looks quiet subtle on the skin and has a gorgeous shine to it. Then you get a baby pink highlighter with reflects of silver in the shimmer ( I use this highlight almost daily and it gives you such a gorgeous shine). And lastly two bronzers one is the original hoola bronzer which is a little dark for me so I use it as eyeshadow and Dallas which is a slightly lighter bronzer shade with a subtle shine to it.
I love products like these because if you’re a fan of the brand then you get all your favourite products in one place or if you want to gift someone a selection of products for a cheaper price then this palette is perfect for you. Benefit powder products are so easy to blend so even if you go a little heavy on a shade it’s so easy to blend into your makeup and leave it looking gorgeous. During this dull colder weather this palette has left me looking more glowy and awake which I’m so relieved about honestly. Being pale I need all the help I can get during the colder months.
If you want to check out more products head over to Benefit Cosments website and Instagram to see more products!
Lots of love
