OBSESSIVE PYRAMID HEAD
Pairing: Obsessive! Pyramid Head x GN!Reader
Description: Short headcanons of what to expect from an obsessive Pyramid Head.
Warning: NSFW themes, obsession, and violent themes.
Tumblr media
Punishment (Will they punish you?) 🔪:
Pyramid Head has spent his entire existence punishing the ones who have sinned. He tosses around things he doesn't find important, but you? Oh no, he couldn't. He's so powerful he could reach down and crush you with his hand, but he simply doesn't because he chooses not to. When you've made a mistake, he leans more towards abandoning you so you learn your lesson. Oh? So you decided to explore the hospital without his permission? Stay there and deal with the nurses then. He'll leave for short periods of time, but then come back to retrieve you as he always does. He knows you've learned when he sees your bloodshot eyes and trembling skin.
Sexual endeavors (How they please you) 🥀:
He definitely falls on the higher spectrum for lust. He desires it endlessly, and will gladly take you if you even hint at it. Prefers to receive more than give during sexual intercourse, meaning he is always taking control in any situation. Prefers to bend you over something and pleasure you that way, it's easier for the both of you. Doesn't mind you grinding against him though, he melts when he feels your legs straddle his thigh, and your whimpers coax his gloved hands to squeeze your waist tighter. Definitely has a size kink, and is animalistic and rough with his sex.
Bloodshed (Are they willing to kill for their s/o?) 🩸:
Absolutely! It feels like his duty now to ward off the threats that could possibly leave a scratch on you. He will forever kill for you. You can't really stop him, it's the whole purpose of his creation.
Stalking (Will they stalk their s/o?) 🕸️:
At first, yes. He would linger in the shadows of silent hill and observe. But after seeing you as an eternal partner, he doesn't try to hide the fact that he watches your every move.
Obsession/scale 1-10 🖤:
Pyramid Head is an 8/10 considering obsession level. He is known for purely existing to protect Alessa, battling any darkness that attempts to harm her. He would absolutely do the same for you. Guarding your every step, and watching your every breath. Make sure you stay out of harms way when you grow exhausted and decide to rest. Even with as terrifying as Silent Hill is, you'll never have to feel scared with a 7ft tall monster protecting you.
Desires (What do they wish from you?) 🕷️:
Pyramid Head deep down wishes he could stay with you eternally. You are human though, and he knows this. He knows you're significantly different from him, and living this life with him won't last long.
Endangerment (How scary is it to be with them?) 🌕:
Pyramid Head himself doesn't put you in trouble. He doesn't wish to harm you, he's your "guardian angel" after all. It's the atmosphere that is a risk to you. Silent Hill is full of monsters, and staying in it is extremely dangerous.
Sympathy (Do they feel bad for taking you?)🪦:
He doesn't care less. It would be of best interest if you gave in, it would be less of a pain on your part. He was eventually going to take you whether you liked it or not.
Roughness(Do they hurt you?) 🦴:
Pyramid Head quite enjoys manhandling you, through innocent intention and sexual intention. Seeing how weak you are compared to him makes his monstrous mindset soften. He would not purposely hurt his darling though, it could kill them.
Intimacy (How romantic are they?) 🎀:
Obviously, he does not have the mentality of a human being. He won't take you on dates, and won't buy you presents. He doesn't speak words of affirmation, and he can't kiss you. But strangely, with how inhumane he is, he is quite affectionate. Keeps you warm in his large arms, and let's you curiously hold his hand. He rumbles through his helmet in an animalistic manner, and it echoes in your eardrums. You can truly tell he's happy with you. That he loves you.
Game? (Are you a game to them?) 🥩:
Never was, and never will be a game to Pyramid Head. He's one of the more serious slashers in general, so when it comes to significant others, he wouldn't find humor in it.

Remember: German is a lot different than English. I apologize for any mistakes.
Yandere: Izuku, Katsuki, Shoto
Trigger Warnings: mention of Torture, guilt tripping, kidnapping, yandere
The Escape-Experience!
Tumblr media
It's been years since you were kidnapped by him.
You thought he was a good person, a hero, an angel himself.
You had this impression of him all your school lifelong.
Then you woke up, chained.
Of course
There are no people who are entirely good. Fate showed it to you again in the most painful way.
Deku was a bad person, a villain, a monster himself.
For years, he has given you a false image of him.
But I can do that too
Usually, you defeat your opponent with their own weapon. That's exactly what you did with him.
For years, you've given him a false image of yourself.
You did everything he wanted. After all, it doesn't take much to be a perfect housewife.
Reality hits him hard when he comes home after a long mission and finds an empty house in front of him.
Someone kidnapped you!
It doesn't even occur to him that you might have left him. You love him as much as he loves you! Why would you even think of that? So, why would he?
It's been years since he felt such a thirst for blood, while being without you.
He wouldn’t simply kill your kidnapper… He would torture him to death!
Non-stop, without sleep, he searches for you.
It was a coincidence that he found you under a bridge.
"Reader!"
He doesn't see the horror on your face, doesn't take the time to think about why your kidnapper isn't with you. He's just happy to have you in his arms again, to bring you home and go on living your life in peace. He won’t punish you, chains you up or anything else. Why should he? It’s not your fault you were kidnapped.
However, you won't be able to escape a second time.
After all, we don't want anyone to kidnap you again, do we?
Tumblr media
You should have been called stupid for even thinking of fleeing.
We're talking about Katsuki Bakugou: King Explosion Murderer.
The probability that you will manage to escape at all is almost zero percent. He didn't chain you anywhere, but the security system is higher than in any other house in Japan.
So, imagine how surprised he was when he entered the home and you were no longer there.
He knew you didn't really love him. He knew that his love was sick. He knew that what he was doing was not right.
It was clear from the beginning that at some point you would try to escape. That's why he took such precautions.  So...
How did you do it?
Bakugou may seem strong and cold all the time, but deep down he is very vulnerable. That's why he's standing there, hurt, but also a little panicked.
Where did you go?
How far are you ahead?
Will he ever find you again?
What if he can't find you anymore?
Life without you is impossible!
However, it doesn't take too long for him to find you.
He knows you, has studied your thoughts, and stalked your behavior.
Before you know where you want to go next, he's already there.
You have lost the freedom to move around the house. At least for now.
After all, life without you is impossible. So why would he risk it again?
Tumblr media
Shoto is not a bad person. All he wants is a little love, which he never really got to experience as a child. It would never have come to his mind that he would lock you up in his house, he doesn't want to do anything that could upset you, after all.
But the first time your life was in danger and Shoto sat powerless next to your hospital bed, he acted out of fear.
He can't lose you! The love you give him is making him feel complete!
What would he be without it?
Nothing.
So, he kidnapped you as soon as you were released from the hospital. No security system, no cameras, nothing.
He could never dream of doing something like that to you.
That's why it was so easy for you to escape.
But fate is cruel, so, you ran right into him.
When he got home, tears streamed through his face.
"I'm sorry, Reader. I just can't lose you!"
"I'm just so scared!"
"Please don't be mad! I love you so much!"
Seeing Shoto crying like that would break everyone's heart. So, you pull him into your embrace. It's so warm...
That it makes it even more difficult for him to force tears...

More actual writing for Death Seeking Creator
Warnings for the typical death this au has, and how their mentality first breaks into what this creator is named for.
It wasn't supposed to be like this. This wasn't apart of her plan.
Nahida only wanted the one who gave teyvat life to be safe, to not live in fear over being accused of being a fake hunted down. She never intended for this.
"Please! If you'll just listen to me, we can help you!" She pleaded, her hair sticking to her face as the rain pelted down. She could only watch as the creator took a further step back, almost slipping off the cliff they clinged onto for dear life. Wanderer was supposed to help, but every step he took only caused the divine to screech and yell in fear, demanding him to stay away.
She knew they would be afraid, the very heart of teyvat had warned her. But she didn't understand it had come to this, to the point the creator was risking their own safety and life to stay away from who they thought were hunters. They yelled louder, their voice barely drowned out from the rain. Wanderer had taken another step forward, clearly growing impatient at the situation.
Then, almost like a realization had taken place, the creator let go. Nahida could only watch in horror as she witness the divine plummet hundreds of thousands of feet below, with Wanderer racing to try and save them. She stood frozen in place, her entire form suddenly overtaken with fear. This wasn't a feeling she was used to, the sudden spike in her heartbeat, the way her knuckles turn white as she gripped the fabric covering her heart.
The rain suddenly stopped as the large sound of a crack was heard. Her eyes welled with tears as she hears Wanderer call out to her, begging for help. She fell to her knees as the world around became fuzzy and dark, her breathing rapid as her heart shattered.
The creator had chosen death.
~
A scream could be heard as the divine suddenly sits up, clutching their head as the vivid memory of pain began to overtake their vision. Their breathing was rapid before it slowly calmed as the memory subsided.
They look around, viewing the ice crystals fall around them softly. They immediately knew where they ended up, Dragonspine. Home to temperatures no mere mortal could withstand, yet at this moment they felt fine. They turned their head, noticing a seele that kept them warm, making small noises in cheer as it watched them.
Usually they would be confused, if this hadn't been the fifteenth time they ended up at this mountain after dying. At this point they grew too used to the creatures that found them being happy and content around them.
Standing up, they dusted the snow off of their clothes. The same ones they wore when they first arrived into this magical world, or magical hell as they would describe it. Inhaling the crisp cool air, they slowly made their way, not truly caring what path they took.
But then they stopped, the seele bumping into their back as it followed, realizing something. They had chosen to die last time, they weren't killed by anyone. It was different.
This caused them to ponder for a bit, wondering what their purpose is if every result ended up in death. Truly there was some higher being that gave them some role? There had to be some reason as to why they were here. But before they xould question more, the piercing sound of an arrow rushed past their ear. They flinched and turned around, fear overtaking their senses as they met eyes with familiar ones.
"Don't move! You are hereby being taken into custody by the Knights of Favonius!" The brunette yelled, nocking another arrow in place to shoot.
They stood frozen, the sounds around them becoming fuzzy. Before suddenly without realizing, they took off in a hurry. The brunette yelled, releasing arrow after arrow, each one barely hitting their mark. She chases after them, gritting her teeth as the cold winds blew in her face.
They ran and ran, taking every turn they remembered to try and reach any safety they could hope to have. But soon they fell to the ground, pain exploding through their back as they screamed from the claymore slicing into their flesh. They begged and pleaded to not be killed, babbling incoherently as the pain overided their cognitive thinking. A foot harshly presses into their wound, causing them to scream in pain as more pleads fell from their lips.
But the women refused to hear their pleas, instead only receiving her heels digging deeper. They cried as she positions her blade against their neck, her words harsh as she speaks.
"The only purpose you have for defiling the creator's visage is to die."
They pause at her words, their thoughts swirling as they recounted each death they've been through. All because they look like this? Is that their purpose? They barely had time to think it over before the flesh of their neck was sliced open, tearing their head off in one clean slice.
~
Gasping for air, the soul sits up. They barely paid attention to the underwater environment around them as they screamed into the open waters. Once their throat no longer allowed them to use their voice they slumped into the sand below, pondering once more over the woman's words.
Was their purpose...really to die? It almost made then laugh, what cruel creator gave them such a role? Someone who must be sick in the head, or bored and wishing for entertainment by seeking it from their demise. Why else would they be resurrected every time? Perhaps...their deaths weren't entertaining enough. Maybe...if they die in the most entertaining way, they'll finally go home.
It was a stupid idea, but it was the only thing to cling onto as they stood up and looked out into the oceans of Fontaine. A crazed look glossed over their eyes.
If they want an entertaining death, the creator is much to oblige.

Not sure if you've seen the finale of the show yet because I'd love to hear your thoughts on how absolutely useless Charlie was once again
I’ve pretty much all the eps for season 1 so you don’t have worry about the spoilers.
As for the ep, I’mma just immediately rip the bandaid off and say that I had to watch it again to remember what happened, yet my brain is still kinda processing it again so I’mma type this to the best of my ability and if I do miss some parts I do apologize.
To start off with one of the things I didn’t like that included Charlie (mostly a personal nitpick) was her “battle fit” (if you could even call it that)
Tumblr media
I feel like it should be self explanatory but I’ll explain anyway; for one, the fact that Charlie wearing what I like to call “the evil star butterfly cosplay” just doesn’t make sense to me. Like even though I don’t like Vicky’s fit either, at least she’s wearing something that could cover her skin to lessen the risk of cuts and injuries.
Charlie however is not only wearing a dress but also HIGH HEELS, which realistically would prob have her dead from the spot because for one, you can’t run in heels and two, like I said before she’s at higher risk to be injured compared to Vicky.
Like I’m honestly shocked that she only got a few rips from her clothing and a few bruises, like I get she’s the princess of hell but damage is still damage.
Not only that since Charlie is a princess then, wouldn’t she have access to wear royal armor??? Assuming she did (because there’s gotta be a reason to where she got that shield from), why didn’t she just wear that???? I feel like it would’ve been the most logical thing to wear since after all, YOUR GOING TO WAR AGAINST DEMONS.
Also speaking of the shield, why does she only have a shield and nothing else? You would think that since she’s the princess of hell she’d have some sort of weaponry but no.
Tumblr media
She just guards herself a shield while occasionally throwing up magical fireworks like if that’s gonna do anything. Like, I get all niffty did most of the time was stab already dead angels before she killed adam, but at least she actually tried to do some damage compared to Charlie.
And then Razzle and Dazzle.
Tumblr media
Listen, I can understand her not being able to save sir pentious because she was trying to protect Vicky and a lot of stuff was going on but why did she summon them? Isn’t she the daughter of lucifer? Wouldn’t she have transforming powers or something to get up there
Tumblr media
I mean we’re shown in this gif that he can transform into different animals as he so pleases and can EVEN GROW WINGS.
Tumblr media
Wouldn’t Charlie technically have those abilities? And even if she doesn’t have those abilities, these fuckers have guns and cannons with them that could shoot/blast Adam down.
Also gotta love the fact Charlie just stays on the roof of the hotel and watches the Lucifer and Adam fight happen UNTIL ADAM RAY BEAMS THE HOTEL IN HALF, ONLY FOR HER TO BE SAVED BY LUCIFER was so dumb. Women do SOMETHING WHY WERE YOU JUST STANDING THERE????
then like the ending. Omg the ending…
Tumblr media
“Omg guys I lost sir p and the hotel guys, I failed” PENDEJA. YOU DID JUST DICK ALL DURING THAT WAR OTHER THAN WAVE SOME SHIELD AROUND WITH SOME FIREWORKS. CRY HARDER. BOO HOO I GUESS.
And I just gotta say, I doesn’t entirely include Charlie but like these parts of the lyrics
Tumblr media
What???? Tf you mean redemption may take a while???? We’re still going with that??? After the war against heaven you guys just had??? Did Charlie forget what happened in episode 6, where like there was some shit about heaven being a lie and this evil place???? Why are you guys still trying to redeem sinners when YOU Charlie, realized heaven is evil???
But don’t worry, they rebuild the hotel guys! They can live happy ever after right?
Tumblr media
Even though like… let me check my notes…. Oh right! Angel is still stuck with valentino, husk’s soul is still taken away by alastor! Oh yeah, I guess viv forgot about that part I guess.
I know I’ve already said this to friends of mine but ngl this episode especially just reminded of this one page from sonichu where Chris and his chars execute a guy in an electric chair but make it viv’s characters and Adam/heaven.
But uh, yeah. I don’t like Charlie, I don’t like this episode, I don’t like this series. I don’t know anymore.

is it just me or is the justification for hawke helping meredith annul the gallows completely… non-existent? i try and try to figure out why hawke would think killing all the mages for something anders openly did himself was the right decision and i always come up blank. only a really sadistic, mage-hating hawke would be okay with it. the whole annulment is so insane and senseless to me. is it just me who thinks this, or would other fans agree?
for roleplay purposes, i think there are a few mindsets you can work with beyond hawke just being foundationally comically evil. here’s a couple suggestions off the top of my head:
they believe that an annulment will sate the templars and the common people, containing the violence to kirkwall in one bloody stroke rather than causing widespread retribution across thedas
they have fought tooth and nail for their place in kirkwall for seven years and they are ultimately not willing to sacrifice it and be a refugee again, no matter what they have to do. i think it’s interesting to consider how da2 is framed and advertised as a rise-to-power game, and the crux of siding with the mages is giving all that up, whereas you can only finish your climb to the top by siding with the templars
they believe having a voice on the “winning side” is the only way they can save themself (if a mage) or their sister (if bethany is a circle mage) from meredith’s wrath. they are unwilling to risk their lives and their friends’ lives fighting for what they see as a doomed cause
for a mage hawke, a desperate desire to believe that they can be a mage who is “different” and cut themselves off from the rest, and if they have previously supported the templars, a kind of sunk cost fallacy where what they’ve done has to be worth it
for a non-mage hawke, deep-seated bitterness that they were raised for this fight, that they are expected to die for this when magic has never done anything for them but take everything they have
i think hawke is a really difficult protagonist to play pro templar because the game places you into a position where you and your family’s existence, and that of companions you have no choice but to pick up, is inherently an act of defiance against the templars. ser wesley makes that clear from the start of the game. it’s illegal for you to exist freely, and there is never any option to do what the templars require, because it would completely end your ability to act as hawke. that’s a game limitation but there’s something to be said for that as a thematic comment, as well. persecutors can put down their weapons and go home, but the only way to escape being the enemy of people who want you dead for what you are is to stop existing. there’s a reason meredith will always turn on you no matter what, beyond just wanting everyone to have that boss fight. there’s a reason writers have talked about regretting that for orsino but not for her, and there’s a reason she’s (iirc? lmao) always the climactic fight and ultimate enemy that comes last, whoever you side with
there’s no morally justifiable reason for anyone to annul a circle, full stop. it’s incredibly evil, inarguably. but real people do evil things. obviously exploring a character like that is not for everyone as a game experience, but as a thought exercise i do think it’s worth recognising that people who enact atrocities aren’t somehow magically inherently soulless. populations who collectively commit the worst evils that humanity has ever seen don’t just, like, happen to have a higher concentration of evil than everyone else in a world. it’s a human behaviour we see committed constantly by people born as ordinary as you and me. and i do think that’s something we should be aware of, rather than falling into the trap of believing there’s something that, uh, inherently separates us from those people, because then we risk complacency and blindness, right, and thinking something must be fine because our people and our leaders would never do something like that. that got a little off track and philosophical. food for thought! it’s not like every templar who takes part in the annulment is somehow inhuman, is my point, and the fact that they follow those orders is really very human, if you compare them to, you know, any military force now or in history. it’s what happens. (as is resistance and compassion, before we get too bleak.) hawke is human, too, and even when presented with only one morally acceptable choice, may not always make it
uhh my point is i do think it can be done without hawke just being an irrational villain caricature who kills for fun, and it’s an rpg literally made for you to have those options, but it requires effort and creativity and grappling with what’s involved a bit. there’s a reason players overwhelmingly support the mages it’s not a surprising response to that choice at all

ok im about to start rambling like crazy because since yesterday i cant stop thinking about this fucking scene and how it just makes stsg's future fight worse better. this is a wonderful point to stop, and think about their breakup and how it was clearly motivated by a lot more than just a clash of ideals
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
to get started its really interesting to think about how gojo was the one who gave the idea of going against any rules and fighting the person at the foundation of the jujutsu society for riko. he was ready to risk everything for a single kid, to grant her the life she wanted. both he and geto knew, that if they chose this path, the consequences would be irreparable. even if they won against tengen, it meant the barriers would be totally fucked up and they would likely become fugitives, but that was alright! as long as they gave riko the opportunity to be a child! to be happy! even tho they were also just teenagers themselves and its clear that this being a kickoff to turn their lives upside down sounds so similar to what happened to geto, and its why his deflection and all the lack of communication around it are even more depressing. the thing is: i cant imagine a world where gojo, knowing about mimiko and nanako, would disagree with getos attitude. even if you dont take into consideration how gojo was ready to kill the whole star cult after riko died, it just doesnt goes with what we saw of him until that point (and from that point onward too) some people disagree with this, because it goes in favor of the whole "gojo didnt had a moral compass of his own when he was a teenager" thing (which is totally wrong). to me, it doesnt. gojo had his own opinions, but he also seemed very aware of how this didnt mean he was ready for the nuances of every situation he could get caught on, and that was where talking to geto helped him. they had similar opinions, gojo felt safe being honest with him, and they were equals! who could be better to question his decisions, right? well, thats exactly why theres a whole plot line about geto looking gojo and feeling that they were no longer neck to neck when gojo goes after geto in shinjuku, its really unambiguous the fact that his goal was not to kill him, but to talk to him. gojo wanted to understand what was the meaning behind geto's actions. geto, who always made sure everything he did had a clear and well-thought motivation, would surely have an explanation for his choice. and in a certain way, he did, yes. i think its quite easy to see that gojo, who even ten years later was out there saying he would side with yuta in a fight, if the higher ups decided to kill him, would see at least a little bit of sense in the core of geto's choice if he just knew about it. but he didnt when geto decided that gojo would never understand him, he wasnt thinking about gojo disagreeing with the effectiveness of it, because geto himself knew it was a dumb idea. the heart of what he was doing, wasnt really to succeed, even tho he gives his best to make himself believe that he will. its all about choosing the murder spree he did in that village, and then doing a backward justification; its about hopelessly doing something, for the sake of doing something. if he were gojo, his plan wouldnt be stupid. if he were gojo, there wasnt any plan that would sound stupid. because gojo had the power to change the world if he set his heart on doing so, but geto didnt. what he could do was choose his path and give his best at staying at it, no matter how painful it was

Shall we talk ☆Pillar Filler???☆
(As well as the rest of the episode?)
Keeping it behind a cut because it's not yet available for everybody and a lot of people will appreciate being surprised (I know I did)!
First, how about that new OP??
I love how it sets this arc up for being a pause in the constant life or death struggle (for the Pillars anyway, hahaha), and pricks at how the Pillars always feel they are struggling to compensate for their weaknesses, and the inky hatred that fills their hearts which Oyakata-sama knows they've channeled into defeating Kibutsuji Muzan at all costs. I also had a passing thought the other day about how so many Japanese legends of demon slaying require the hero to call upon a non-human higher power, or use something like a poison or alcohol to weaken a demon before they stand a chance of defeating it. In the end, the medicine that Tamayo and Shinobu develop does serve this crucial role (and the sun fulfills the role of a higher non-human power), but it's otherwise ironic that instead of temporarily weakening a demon to their own level, the usual course of action is to use Breath to temporarily increase their power to that of a demon.
Attaining a mark sure increases the role that "temporary" already played in their lives, and it's really no question that they would choose to pursue that option, even knowing the result.
(Also, CHUNTAROOOOO)
So anyway, onto that filler!!
I loved it.
First, the nitpicking just to get it out of the way: why did a demon need to bother tying up a victim???? Whhhhy? Like, at least they didn't pull a Speedy with some contrived "this demon just toys with victims and leaves them injured instead of killing them" routine that makes for a happy low-stakes Piller Filler episode while showing utter disregard for what demons are and why the Corp risks themselves to stop them. (That said, I always love seeing other Corp members fulfill their own Corp duties with no relation whatsoever to Tanjiro, who is just one piece of a much, much larger whole.)
But rather than write what would ultimately be stupid dialogue with an insignificant filler demon, it's nice that Ufotable did not bother developing the Castle Demon. The totally undeveloped baddies are easy to cast off as Blood Technique (but maybe they could have looked a little cooler if, like, they were vaguely wearing samurai armor or something instead of just being in skin suits? Whatever, not important.) I appreciate that Ufotable did not bother to answer these questions of "why is the victim tied up" because the point of this scene was very obviously not about her or the demon. (I like to think Iguro cut the ropes and then told her to get to safety but just, like, left her there on the top roof).
So as for what this scene WAS for... hot dang, did it accomplish that!!!
The purpose was to make Sanemi and Iguro look cool, and it sure as hell did that. WHAT GOOD CHANBARA, those show-offy sword-play moves against a mob of nameless villains were just so deliciously well choreographed, and the people who can appreciate that were also likely to really appreciate the use of a castle as a purely fun battle setting. Ufotable was probably like, "Our biggest fans are nerds for KnY's touches of traditional Japanese folklore and culture, and for swords and swordplay, so you know what else will probably get them riled up? Yeah, let's give them a castle fortress."
And then everyone cheered, like, "Yes, yes, the fangirls like demonslayedher on Tumblr will never know what hit them."
But then some brilliant person spoke up and said, "You guys, I have the perfect finishing blow."
And everyone said, "What? How could we possibly top this scene that not only purely makes Sanemi & Iguro look cool, but also serves their characters and the plot nicely by showing how the Pillers don't feel they can rely on the other Corp members, and that even though they speak sharply to them they show concern for them by their actions? You know, especially slyly since anime-only fans will get to appreciate a new side of characters whom they haven't gotten to bond with much yet for only having seen their mean sides mostly and none of their battle coolness, and also slyly because the hardcore manga fans know that these two are buddies?"
And then the brilliant person says, "Let's give them that fortress."
The brilliant person was then crowned Ruler of Ufotableland and the fans lived happily ever after.
Speaking of Pillar Filler, I also want to point out how nice that opening exposition between Shinobu and Kanao was. First, what a nice way of incorporating Kanao into a nice episode that gives us a nice little dose of everyone in the Corp cast, even by adding that little scene of Amane and Ubuyashiki too. I loved the little touches that develop the Butterfly Mansion, like the fact that on the path there, they have a stone sign that says "Butterfly Mansion" and a line of carved Jizo statues (to protect travelers and (deceased) children) with little butterflies. And that moment of Nezuko frowning as the sunlight goes behind a cloud? Wonderful. And Shinobu essential saying to Kanao, "I trust you with defending everyone here in the now VERY LIKELY EVENT OF KIBUTSUJI MUZAN ATTACKING while I have to go off to a Pillar Meeting now that you're back"? I looooove iiiiiiiiit. That also says a lot about the trust other Pillars have in Shinobu to entrust her with Nezuko instead of putting any pressure on her to take part in Pillar Training, as clearly they don’t know about Tamayo, and it's really anyone's guess if they know about the poison or not (though the light novel implies Himejima might have an inkling but doesn't know). Being Pillars, though, I doubt any of them would tell her she's wrong for being prepared to take down a demon in any possible way.
I love, love, love, love the treatment of all the straight-from-the-manga scenes, like "Welcome home, Inosuke" (except for the added 'did you miss me, Aoi-chan' because canonically Aoi is the one kind of girl who is not his type), Tamayo speaking with Oyakata-sama's bird, Mitsuri's "explanation" of the mark, and every single Pillar interaction. I love the amount of respect they show to Himejima (and how Ufotable slightly expanded on this), and I am so excited for the extra Himejima content this season. In the new marketing materials released on the same day as the episode/movie, they make stark use of one of the kanji characters in his name ("cry out"), which is a very nice touch. And the use of BGM!!! Especially the touches of Giyuu's and Mitsuri's themes during the meeting!
*happy sigh*
It is nice to be a fandom citizen of Ufotableland.

HELP your time travel shenanigans fic idea about toji being very much alive but still putting the fate of his two little ass kids in the hands of a bunch of 16-17 year olds even if he’s still breathing. if i was megumi then my abandonment issues would’ve gone crazy if that happened to me 😭. mamaguro is looking down from the pearly white gates IN ANGER at toji’s audacity i just know it.
but now i’m curious on other ideas (that you have) for fics about jjk that you may or may not get to after sea glass gardens.
see the sad thing is that letting a bunch of 16-17 year old bitchy disaster gays discover the magic of teen parenthood is actually a step up because he had already sold Megumi to the Zenin and feral wolverines would be a better alternative to them. This was the best parenting decision toji has ever made.
(Time travel!Megumi: look we don’t have any other options. Anything is better than the Zenin.
Gojo, in the distance: they’re what three? That’s old enough for a red bull
Geto: I will actually kill you over this satoru
Time travel!megumi: *deep breath*)
A loose catalogue of my jjk fics, which may or may not exist one day:
Sea glass gardens verse:
I am forever compelled by the siren call of expanding my fics into universes because one story is never enough for me. I’ve got threeish stories in this universe, with no promises of how many, if any, I’ll write.
1. The Teen Parenting Chronicles: Gojo, Nanami, and Shoko’s expert guide to raising children when you are, in fact, children. Featuring what the fuck happened with the Zenin the first time around.
2. Megumi’s pov of what just happened leading up to sea glass gardens: someone asked me if I’d ever write this and it has the highest chance of existing because I have. Sort of. Started writing it. I have impulse control issues.
3. Okkotsu Yuuta and the world’s longest distance panic attack: crack fic of Yuuta on his study abroad trip becoming increasingly more frantic at the other second year’s updates as to how His Boy’s first year as a jujutsu sorcerer is going. What do you mean sukunas there. What do you mean he doesn’t have a shirt. Well put one on him!
Time travel AU:
1. The Time Traveler’s Guide to Fucking Shit Up And Living Well: following another attempt on their lives by the higher ups, the first year gang is forced into a desperate, high stakes gamble with a time-centric curse that puts their very existences at stake. If they want to survive, they have to complete one task of their choosing in the past before the clock runs out. Their mission?
To punch fushiguros shitty bio dad in the face, something which will surely have no long term consequences on the timeline.
See this one has the most chance of actually existing one day because it is by far my FAVORITE jjk fic I have. It even beats out sea glass gardens. I desperately want to write it.
2. The 2006 Gang and the Art of a Good Union: following a confusing incident with the star plasma vessel and three unknown sorcerers, the 2006 Tokyo jujutsu high first and second year class inexplicably goes off the rails and retires from jujutsu sorcery, claiming that they’ve discovered the magic of teen parenthood and can in no way risk themselves in such a dangerous profession now that they have kids to think about. At least, not with the way things are run now.
No one knows where they got the children from.
3. Toji Fushiguro and the Dead Beat Dad Chronicles: in which toji fushiguro succeeds at being a dead beat baby daddy to two teenaged gay boys and their crew of bitchy lgbtq compadres, who in no way want him to be involved in their children’s lives.
Standalones:
1. “Fushiguro is unleashed in junpei’s school like an invasive superpredator” AU: I’ve talked about this one in way more detail in another post for an ask game, but the idea is that itadori discovers junpeis abuse at school and says Not On His Fucking Watch and escalates the matter to gojo, who decides the funniest possible solution while they try to draw out mahito is to unleash his all star delinquent son into junpeis high school to bully the bullies.
Fushiguro resents this as a problem solving strategy.
2. The Zenin raise Megumi AU: also discussed in more detail in an ask game. In which people took Tsumiki’s little brother from her, but she’s trying to get him back, she promises.
Or, in which the Zenin take megumi, leave tsumiki, and they both spend every day after fighting to get back to the other.
3. Sort of a no curse AU: Itafushi romance story, in which local himbo Itadori Yuuji falls for delinquent Fushiguro Megumi when his grandpa is placed in the room next to Fushiguros comatose sister. Starts as a no curse AU… except there’s totally curses, Tsumikis mom just moved them to Sendai without telling anyone so the Zenin never found Megumi, and he’s just never told anyone about the curses he sees because he’s worried he’s schizophrenic. He thought the shikigami thing was a metaphor for self actualization or something.
4. Fushiguro Megumi and the World’s Most Inconvenient Custody Battle: pre JJK0, Geto decides to be a shithead magic terrorist at a local school that represents all the worst of monkey society: it’s known for a rampant bullying issue, which is a breeding ground for cursed spirits, and it contributes to the risk to jujutsu sorcerers by feeding a local legend of a haunted bridge that could explode into a serious curse any day.
What he didn’t count on? Finding the new Ten Shadows in the student body, who’s fully willing to kamikaze them both if it means saving his sister’s life.
And who doesn’t seem to be aware that he more than has the potential to take suguru in a fight.
In which Fushiguro just wanted to shut up, go to school, and go home, and instead finds himself in a binding vow to give cult life a whirl to save the lives of classmates he doesn’t even like all that much.
It involves oddly more parenting than he expected.
5. Fake Fiancés AU: prodigy and noble prize winning physicist Gojo Satoru, following a very ill advised fuck buddies arrangement with fushiguro toji, has settled down into domestic bliss with the two kids he took from the relationship despite them not, in any way, being related to him. The problem? His ex is back in town. The hot one. The one who broke up with him and started a cult. The one who he wants to convince he got over when he absolutely did not do that.
The solution? Tell everyone he’s happily engaged to Nanami Kento, who cannot express enough how much he does not want him to do that.
… until, all of a sudden, he needs a show of domestic bliss himself. His adoptive son’s older brother, sukuna, has crawled out of the woodwork and decided to make a play for custody himself. And Nanami does not know what Sukuna truly wants, but he knows it does not have Yuuji’s best interests at heart.
I share custody of this story with my best friend, who cocreated it with me over deranged text message. I may convince her to joint write it with me if I ever get her to publish her fanfic.
6. Todo Aoi and Schrodinger’s Boyfriend: Todo’s beloved brother, who is most assuredly a man, suffers some kind of terrible brain damage that leads him to confess he loves an assless boy. Todo cannot abide by this, until it’s pointed out to him that if Fushiguro’s type is his brother, that would make him the most interesting man alive. If it is not, he continues to be a boring and uninteresting boy.
Todo sets off on a mission with two goals: determine if fushiguro megumi is interesting, and get him to do some squats. because there’s simply no ass there.
Fushiguro wonders why his life is suddenly harder.
7. Choso and the Art of Being a Big Brother: choso discovers the truth of kenjaku early and does the only logical thing in response: he kills his father in his sleep, cuts out his brain, and delivers it in a jar to his new brother Itadori Yuuji as the first step in wooing him into domestic sibling love.
Megumi doesn’t know where these people come from. Or why all of them think itadori is their brother.
8. SatoSugu realizes their little boy is all grown up when he gets his first crush on a boy when he meets yuuji.
They do not fucking take it with grace.
Also co-written with my best friend via text message.
9. The instagram chronicles: crack fic in which the jujutsu sorcery personnel crisis gets worse, because nobara Kugisaki keeps trying to hard launch her instagram influencer career, and keeps accidentally making every jujutsu sorcerer instagram famous except for her
10. So I don’t actually ship Yuuta and Megumi, but I do really like the idea of low stakes relationships? Like, especially for teen romances. You tried it, decided you were better off as friends, and just went back to being friends. I just like the idea of fumbling around in relationships and getting a sense of boundaries and what you’re interested in without it being a big, world-shaking romance. It seems like a more realistic portrayal of high school relationships than every one of them being this world-defining mature love.
Pre season 1 but post JJK 0, Yuuta and Megumi dated for maybe a month and half, held hands maybe twice, and decided that they were better off as friends and parted on good terms. The issue?
No one realized they were dating. And when it is realized, everyone thinks their relationship was torpedoed because the second years kept inviting themselves onto their dates.
Cue the jjk high school students trying to amend old mistakes and get Yuuta and Megumi back together, who do not, in fact, want to be back together. Headlining Inumaki Toge, who is half in love with Yuuta and does not know why he’s helping get him together with someone else, and Itadori Yuuji, who is half in love with Megumi and also does not know why he’s helping get him together with someone else.

I remembered some time ago (near when I started posting art online) I made an organic Metal Sonic AU for funsies, but I started thinking about the idea again in the context of Metal being a roboticized Sonic from a bad future
So I doodled what he would look like, colored the doodles digitally and actually put some more thought into it
More rambles under the cut
Basically, Metal Sonic gets beaten so badly it's near impossible to repair, so Eggman takes that as an opportunity to create something new while fulfilling something Metal has wanted for as long as they were online. A living, organic body to transfer Metal's limited consciousness to
Of course, creating a living being to work for you means running the risk of them rebelling, and with Metal having rebelled once before, the risk is a bit higher. But the fun thing about creating life from scratch in a lab is that you can essentially program their brain however you want, make them intrinsically subservient to you, and as a bonus you make them much more powerful than the average mobian. So, sure that they would not betray him once being given free(?) will, he begins work on a new project, one that would surely defeat Sonic once and for all
There are complications once Metal awakens for the first time, though. They're completely overwhelmed by senses they hadn't felt in a long time (had they felt these sensations before?) and had to (re)learn basic things- speaking, moving, things that come naturally to most living beings
Eggman almost gave up on the project, but Metal learned fast and improved enough for him to continue with development. They still struggle with some things, speaking will always be hard and they get overstimulated easily, but Eggman is willing to accommodate if Metal can become a powerful enough asset for his army and defeat Sonic
Of course it doesn't work. That's how it goes, usually. Eggman tries a new plan, Sonic foils it. But he doesn't give up on the project just yet, as Metal can still be of use to him
That is, until Metal finds something that sends them down a terrible spiral
See, deep down, they knew they were the one true Sonic, because they originally WERE Sonic. They have vague memories of a time before working for Eggman, before being turned into a robot, running free through the world, making friends... But this body isn't the original. It's completely new, and their real body sat somewhere in one of Eggman's bases, a metal corpse, discarded. They were no longer the one true Sonic
And they couldn't do anything about it
Standing up to Eggman could lead to a second death, in a sense. If they rebelled, they had nowhere to go, and again, risked bringing out Eggman's rage and being scrapped and killed. All they can do to maybe find some closure is get rid of Sonic once and for all
Because if they can't be Sonic, no one can

other meta about Playful Land that I've decided to hide in this post (minor CSM spoilers discussed underneath):
I got into Chainsaw Man during the time this blog was in a coma! if that wasn't obvious already ^-^
Fellow and Guidel growing up in poverty reminded me a lot of Denji and Pochita, and I listen to CSM ost often these days I'm only drawing Fellow as Makima for funnies because they both manipulate others without them knowing, and absolutely nothing else. he's too boyfailure for that.
"The country mouse gets to to live in safety, but doesn't get to eat delicious food like they have in the city. The Town mouse gets to eat delicious food, but runs a higher risk of being killed by humans or cats."
I've also been thinking of this line with them lately, either they live honestly and barely make anything when society rejects them as it is, or work at Playful Land despite its horrid conditions if it means their survival
in which I also headcanon that Fellow's drive in doing this in the first place is his envy, and to fulfill a sense of revenge towards people who get to live normal lives but fell for a "free ticket" the same way Pleasure Island also existed as a metaphor to punish people for giving in to hedonistic desires. So that's why he put up with it for so long especially under his greedy bosses
Not a lot of people talk about how as much as Fellow cares about Guidel, he still roped in a child into this job alongside him and exposing him to this sort of stuff, so I was hoping it'd be discussed more when analyzing their bond together and not just fellow's backstory (or whatever crumbs canon gave us), and that's what I had in mind when writing this
theres nothing wrong with finding guidel cute and silly! hes a cute little guy who is very much loved by his older brother, his... very irresponsible brother. but I think that's why I can still come to love Fellow and how raising and protecting Guidel could've played a bigger part in his change at the ending when he stops everything to start a school instead
I was really hoping that Stage in Playful Land would also give us Ortho-Guidel parallels the same way with Idia-Rollo and how they dealt with their grief in Glorious Masquerade, but this time with "little brothers" and their attachment to their "older brothers" but their autonomy outside of them being brought into question
Anyway, I was wondering how the Playful Land operations would impact Guidel, so I was thinking Fellow probably bullshitted some reasons so it isn't merely just guidel following his brother but also being in on it (that, and middle schoolers are built different.)
This worked until the NRC students brought up something sensitive to them, which was school, and it takes the veil off Guidel's eyes and ears for a second about what they're doing and what sort of lives he and fellow could've had seeing the nrc students have so much fun
Sorry this was all over the place LOL. If you've read this far, the contents in my blog may begin to take a darker turn if I post more about them, so I'm really sorry if you followed me for Rollo fluff... but it's also almost my christmas break, so :DDD
i can still see everyones requests in my inbox, by the way. sorry again.

You say you wish Ronen (and presumably other Israeli Americans) showed the same outrage for the attacks on Gaza as they do for the attacks on Israel.
I’m curious, do you hold White Christian Americans do the same standard? When they remember the lives lost in 9/11, do you require them to mention the 70,000 civilian lives lost in the war in Afghanistan, which was started as a result of that attack? Does it put a ‘pit in your stomach’ when they don’t, or do you simply go about your day without thinking it worth mentioning?
Because as a Jew I’ve never supported Israel, but I’m starting to wonder why Israel is held to a far higher standard than any Western nation that retaliates against terrorism. The loss of innocent lives is terrible and should be condemned, but why is it worse than the innocent lives lost in Afghanistan? Is there something in particular about Israel that you and other left-wing Westeners don’t like?
As far as I can see, Ronen’s country was the victim of a terrorist attack. He reacted with sorrow and anger and supports his country as it seeks to punish those responsible and rescue those taken hostage. But why is he deserving of condemnation for an emotional response when Americans and Westeners can mourn and be angry about their citizens killed by terrorists without attracting any of the same vitriol? The West has done terrible things in the Middle East, and yet when the Middle East strikes back against its enemies only Israel and its people are not allowed to be angry.
Maybe you don’t have any answer, but if you do and are willing to respond I would like to know. What is the difference between an Israeli ‘coloniser’ responding to being a victim of terrorism and an American ‘coloniser’ responding to being the victim of terrorism? Why does one attract criticism and hatred and the other not?
I don't speak for anyone else but my personal answer to this question is yes. Unequivocally. I haven't been talking specifically about the Iraq/Afghanistan wars this week because that's not what's happening right now, but yes. People mourning/honouring victims of the 9/11 attacks should absolutely also be mourning the (by some estimates) nearly a million innocent people who died in the Middle East in the wars started as retaliation for that attack, in some cases in places like Iraq that had literally nothing to do with it at all. If someone feels sadness in their heart every day for the 9/11 victims and feels nothing for the innocent Muslim people who paid the price for something they had nothing to do with, I feel very comfortable saying that person has fallen prey to American imperialist propaganda campaigns or is just outright racist. The hoopla that followed 9/11 is almost beat-for-beat what is happening right now, all over again. We learned nothing. Once again our leaders are dehumanizing brown people, cheering on imperialism and violent colonial occupation, and using a terrorist attack to manufacture consent for war crimes. (Anyone wanting more info on how they do this should read The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein.)
The loss of innocent Palestinians is not worse that the loss of innocent Afghans. They are the same. They are both being murdered as payback for something they didn't do and their deaths were/are both being cheered on by the Western war machine because it makes money for defense contractors and because it's politically convenient to see brown people as expendable pawns in the game of Risk world leaders are always playing. So yes, I absolutely do condemn both and mourn for both.
Additionally, I know you didn't ask for sympathy but I know how difficult this is. I know it's a lot more complicated than white online leftists like to make it seem, and I know a lot of Jewish people personally who are struggling right now, as they have before, with their complex feelings for the state of Israel. I hope you're taking care of yourself, as best you can in these awful circumstances.

Hazbin Hotel’s Husk backstory and name theorizing
So Husk was born in the 1895-1904 range, since he died at 75 in the 1970s, right?
At the outbreak of The Great War/WWI, that makes him 10-19, average 14-15. Statistically unlikely to be drafted.
By the end, he’s 14-23, average 18-19. So there’s a decent chance he completely avoided the draft for that war, but just as decent a chance he didn’t or got drafted and never got deployed kinda thing.
Possible New Headcanon: An older brother though? He’d have a much higher likelihood of getting drafted AND deployed. Maybe even killed. Imagine Husk being a younger brother / middle-child who *becomes* The Eldest Son right as he’s Coming of Age / Becoming A Man.
Since I don’t see anyone giving up the human name “Henry” for Husk anytime soon, I’d like to propose a name for this possible brother: Isaac.
Named after the “be willing to do anything for the right reason” story. The Would-Be Sacrifice.
Cited Sources: Isaac is #133 on the most popular male names of the 1900s and among the Earliest African-American Male names too.
Related Headcanon Suggestion: Surname Free(d)man. For extra Alastor angst.
What do you think — am I on to something or completely off base? As for WWII…
Personally I don’t think there’s any getting around drafting him for that one, even if the wiki does say he may not have been a soldier at all.
I mean… “Not exactly a convincing interrogation scene”? That quote from the start of Masquerade sounds like someone who DOES know what an interrogation scene looks like. Possibly conducted them himself? You get drafted knowing half as many languages as Husk and you’re ending up in some kind of Military Intelligence division, that’s all I’m saying, either as a spy or a frontline interrogator.
Leading me to my last Hail Mary Headcanon for you: imagine “Husk”/“Husker” being his codename as in… the guy who peels back the layers of enemy POWs for information and leaves them a husk. Think Corn-Husker in the agricultural sense for this metaphor.
Spywork could also lead a person living a chameleon lifestyle to feel disjointed from living all those personas. And not having an opportunity to settle down and love someone or even enjoy time with your own parents/siblings. And after all that ~exciting~ travel, taking risks and beating the odds… aging out of it. Back into obscurity.
It would also explain how easy it was for Husk to pinpoint Angel wasn’t just being “an actor” but fully lost himself in the worst kind of Persona For Survival stuff that I’m not getting into here.
Anyway, I *fully admit* that the Military Interrogator / Spy stuff’s incredibly unlikely. I’m just scratching my brain trying to figure out why our Casino Overlord, at the top of his game, would introduce himself to Alastor as “Husk” at that point. After Alastor gets him, introducing himself to others? Sure. But before Alastor…? I dunno, I smell another layer of meaning, that’s all.
It would also explain him walking around the Pride Ring without getting recognized — if he went by his human name as an Overlord, like Carmilla and Rosie. That or one of Husk’s punishments from Alastor was Hell literally forgetting about him… but hoo boy, that’s a whole other theory isn’t it?

It is a very peculiar thing to be in power. In most places, it serves as a slight modifier, something to tip the scales a fraction in your favor during moments of most importance. Small power in small doses can be measured out and used when necessary. Nothing more and nothing less would suit the other factions.
In Dauntless, however? This place of shadows and blood? To have any small scrap of an advantage is to have the world. Your chosen faction is one that welcomes honor and dishonor both so long as they can send you up in the ranks. If some insignificant bit of power can change the course of your destiny, imagine the results of legitimate might.
Power is bravery here. Everyone in Dauntless knows it, from the first day initiates to the faction leaders. Some people wonder how the higher ups in your faction are able to be so brave, to take the risks that no one else will. I’ll tell you a secret, then, if no one else will:  they don’t have to worry about failing when they know they can’t.
You get that first rush of power from your first act of bravery and it’s all easy from there on out. The free fall picks you up in its mighty arms and carries you forever. They’re coasting on the bravery of others, up there in the upper echelons of Dauntless capability. They may not be risking their lives on the daily like the regular people of the faction, but they get the credit for it nonetheless.
Only a few people know of this sort of duplicity, however, and among their rank are you and your boyfriend. That’s why you and Four decided not to pursue the status of becoming a faction leader, actually, despite the shock of the rest of the Dauntless populace. It just wasn’t worth it to you. The adrenaline of actually being brave far outweighs the power of knowing you can make anyone else bleed.
Still, in that choice you and Four reclaimed your power. Anyone knows it from seeing the two of you together, in knowing that both of you are fighters in a way that Max or anyone else at the top can never quite become again. You haven’t sold your souls yet, only your fists, and who here isn’t guilty of that?
It still makes you laugh to think of how people reacted when you and Four first got together. In the beginning, it was looked on as something unreal, a trick or a hoax that would end up with you dead and him lightly chastened. The second you started looking at him as something other than a monster, everyone knew that something bad was to come of it.
They were right, technically. The only difference is that it would be bad for them and not you. What you and Four have is extraordinary. In a way, of course your friends and fellow faction members would fear it. If they have nothing of the sort, why would they not do their best to tempt you from it? If you cannot have power of your own, you can gain some back by stripping others of it, and that is precisely what they tried to do with you and Four.
Of course, when you first met Four you had no idea what the two of you would accomplish together. Back then, you were just a first time initiate. You jumped off that roof in Dauntless and landed with someone staring at you, someone who would change your life forever without even knowing it.
Four was a year above you, trying out the title of initiation leader for the first time. Most everyone there was afraid of him despite the miniscule gap in age. You weren’t one of them, which drove your friends crazy. They were absolutely certain that you were going to get yourself reprimanded or killed because you couldn’t seem to act with the proper respect. Even worse, you seemed to like Four, which clearly marked you as insane.
They asked you time and time again what you could possibly see in him, what could ever make Four, follow-without-question Four, be human and not some sort of nightmare. You merely responded that he looked well in your eyes. Everyone with half a brain could see the way Four looked at you and realize that you were well in his eyes as well. It was almost inevitable that the two of you would get together. Whatever would happen to shake Dauntless’ foundation to the core was only a thing of the certain future, speculation be damned.
It made sense, though, the two of you. Not at first, of course. Back then, you were just an initiate and he was all of the mastery and terror that eight months’ earlier birth could give you in Dauntless. Things started changing as your training went by, however, and soon enough people realized that you were just as much something to fear as he was.
After all, Four made waves when he got his nickname. Four fears, it had never been done before. And when you came out of that final test with only two horrors displayed before you? Dauntless reacted like it was the end of days. It seemed impossible that two initiates, back to back nonetheless, could see all the world had to offer and shrink from so little of it. That wasn’t just bravery, that was something else. Something like power.
The end of initiation opened a lot of doors for you, both for your career and your private life. Although both you and Four had known there was something there, he had waited until you graduated initiation to start something. You were soaring through the rankings at a high enough clip that people would be looking to discredit you over everything. He didn’t want the rumors of a connection to the training leader to stop you before you could start.
Soon enough, however, your training did end, and Four found you that night. A few half-drunk conversations later, both of your slates were clean and you decided it was time for the start of something new, something good.
Four understands you like no other. Perhaps that explains your two fears. Although they’ve been changing ever since the first time you entered your fear landscape, they’ve long since solidified into two distinct omens of malice that haunt your memory every time you slip into a fear simulation.
The first is one from your past, an abusive father. There’s not much you can do about years with that man, the cruelties you had to endure. It explains why you hold no fear for higher-ups in Dauntless, though– you’ve already spent your time with monsters to know that no one here can truly scare you like your father did.
The second is for your present and future, losing Four. It first appeared after the two of you had an argument during initiation, you asking for his heart and him refusing it. That was when he told you that he’d wait until training ended to protect you, but all that came off was that he never wanted to see you again. You went to sleep that night thinking that the first true love you ever had would hate you until the end of time, and when you woke up, your second fear was set in stone.
It would not come to pass, of course, that Four would leave you of his own volition, but yet the fear stays. It changes slightly from trial to trial in the fear landscape. Sometimes he’s sick and dying, other times shot in the heart from an enemy attack, and sometimes just gone, vanished into nothingness with no one able to explain or care about where he went. Each vision haunts you, but none of them can keep you down for long.
After all, why should they? You graduated initiation with flying colors. You have the man you love right by your side. And, when you decided to follow Four’s suit and become a trainer, everyone in Dauntless, both age-old inhabitants and newcomers alike, knew that your collective hold over the future of the faction was something no one could touch. With the two of you leading classes, becoming an initiate was even more terrifying a venture than before.
In fact, some new trainees could be heard saying that they’d rather incur the wrath of Four instead of you. At least Four had some sort of moral ground, a line to cross that they could see and avoid. You, on the other hand? You were the sort of fear that no one dared touch. To recognize your fury was to accept one’s certain death.
It makes you laugh. You’ve lost count of how many times Four has teased you for it behind closed doors, about how he was supposed to be the scary one and he can’t possibly take it if you’re just as frightening as he is. He doesn’t mean a word of it, of course, and sometimes you think Four would actually be quite content to let you bear the full weight of his fearful reputation, but it does serve to put a smile on your face nonetheless.
That’s the best part of your relationship, you think. Not just the power that comes with your shared status and capability, but what happens when no one is looking. Four loves you, truly he does, and the nights and days you’re able to spend with just him and no one else go down in your memory as some of the best you’ve ever had.
It’s just easy, that’s all. Easy and perfect. When the door to your shared apartment closes between the two of you, your masks can drop and the two of you can be happy together, nothing more and nothing less. Four has a handsome laugh that no one else in this entire faction has ever heard, but you’ve listened to its sound more times than you can remember. You keep up this charade of a bloodthirsty fighter every time you’re out in your faction, but when it’s just you and Four, you can be at peace. No warrior could ever ask for something more.
At the end of the day, what you have with Four is good. Perhaps your friends were right to worry about you being so close to Four, but what they failed to consider is that you are just as dangerous as he is. Both of you understand the hardships of having to stay on the edge of a razor the entire day, and how important it is to trust each other once no eyes are on you anymore. You would not trade it for the world, not even for the power that everyone else here seems to crave above all else.
No, you’re happy with Four. Simply put, he is your power, the sort of energy that makes you feel like you could rattle the entire faction to its bones. You could burn this place to the ground and come out standing strong so long as he was there by your side. Maybe that’s why everyone was so terrified about the two of you being together, they knew exactly what you could accomplish if you set your collective minds to the task.
Is that such a bad thing, in the end? To hold the awe and respect of the rest of your fearless faction in the palm of your hand, to grip it like a weapon and use it to draw blood whenever you please? It does not trouble you in the slightest. No words can crease your brow when you have Four there to smooth out the wrinkles, to make you smile when you need it most. There is nothing in this world that could slow your step. Four makes sure of that, and in turn, you make sure it’s true for him as well. No ending has ever been better.

People assumed much about Megatronus and Orion's relationship before the war broke out. The intimate, private history was always outweighed by the grand and operatic droves of war. No one really cared much about the fine details, because why should they? A few incorrect assumptions here and there wouldn't hurt anything. It was past.
Megatron clenched his fist, on the throne of New Kaon, the throat of this whole new world in his claws.
Orion was the carrier. He had loved Megatronus, and Orion had brought the sparkling all the way to term, only for the gladiator, Megatronus, to kill it in a rage-blind rampage. Thrown it against the nearest wall as if it were nothing but scrap metal, his decepticon mind brimming with evil intentions. Or maybe Megatronus left Orion with the care of the child, who later died to war, exposure, disease. Or maybe it had been a stillbirth. The newscasters couldn't seem to decide what story was more slanderous. Did it matter that it was all a total lie? Of course not. It was about political tactics and cheap shots. Anything to make that filthy, mouthy, rebellious low-rank keep his helm down and out of the higher-powers way.
His lip curls in fury. His face burns into anger, melts away into something calmer. Something much rarer to see on the warlord's face, mournful of a being that never was.
Megatron had been the carrier. He was a carrier type after all, not Orion, not Optimus Prime. He and Orion had loved each other fiercely, and because Orion was a hopeless romantic with too much charm for a simple archivist, and Megatronus was so, so easy to swoon over him, it resulted in a lot of… hands-on activities. And a lack of proper preventative measures, to the point where he'd told Orion that bluntly, and Orion had just grinned all broad and silly, like the likelihood of it was both impossible and beautiful.
And since Megatronus had been charmed, and was so deep in puppy love to the point where some fucking how he thought risking being knocked up was a good idea, he grinned too, and they had continued, until Megatronus had felt that minor little shift in his energy levels, that little charge somewhere deep within, and he knew.
Looking back, it was the worst thing that had ever happened to him, by far. Nothing really compared, not in relation to this. He much rather would've lost his vision or had impaired audio input if he could've been spared of this. But at the time, he'd been so excited. Scared of course, for many reasons including the toiling political climate and his involvement, the decepticon rebellion on the verge of blooming, the rising tension all over Cybertron. But it was also refreshing how… normal his fear had been. All the classic questions and what-ifs that every parent had, has, and always will have. Would he be a good carrier? Would the sparkling like him? Would they like their sire? Would Soundwave babysit?
Upon hearing the news, Orion had gone blank, then that wide, ridiculous, dorky smile rose on his face, followed quickly by tears, frantic hugging. Promises of love, devotion, the little librarian absolutely weeping with joy. It was ridiculous, and overly dramatic. He would never admit that he, too, had cried in sheer contagious happiness.
It was stupid. It was so fucking stupid. How he thought, how either of them thought they would ever live in a universe where they could do something like that together was foolish. They couldn't have everything they wanted. The universe was not swift to balance the scales, however. It had been slow. Long enough that Orion and Megatronus had even, Primus forbid, got caught up in picking a name. They had come to something of a bargain, because both were too stubborn to relent; if it was a femme, Megatronus could pick the name. If it was a mech, Orion got to pick.
"I like Skywatch. Doesn't Skywatch sound nice?"
"I know too many other miners with the word 'watch' in their names, Orion. Please pick something better, or the sparkling is going to get bullied."
"Backdome? Savageblitz? Slipstream? Silverwing?"
"... Slipstream and Silverwing are alright. Where in the pit you thought of those other two I don't want to know."
He grits his fanged denta on the twisted throne, some kind of ache, dull and reverberating, in his abdomen at the wash of horrible memories. They never settled on a proper designation. Not that it would’ve done any good.
Fate seemed to laugh at him at every turn. Even after the war had begun, he still had the sparkling in its gestational period. It was still too young to make a change in appearance on his body, but it was there. He and Soundwave had sworn to keep it an absolute secret. No one, absolutely no one, decepticon or otherwise, could know about it. Both the sparkling itself and the fact that Megatron was a carrier type. Both would be catastrophic.
And Orion… Optimus had not said anything after his graduation to a Prime. By then, the war was in full swing, bombings, poisonings, and more subtle ways of warfare had exploded into long winded battalions. At the time it had perplexed him, even slightly offended him that the Prime didn't seem at all interested in their child's status. Megatron had thought the Prime a coward for that.
It wasn't until a few vorns later that he thanked Primus the Prime never asked.
It wasn't even a big fight. Two mechs, autobots, had charged him from behind, guns blazing and swords drawn. He didn't see them in time, one grabbing his upper arms and shoving him violently forward, the other making haste with his blade, slashing the warlord on his side while the other fired a plasma shot into the flank of his shoulder. He'd shaken them off, blasted them with his fusion cannon, spearing one with the fool's own greatsword. They had been easy kills.
It was four days later that he noticed the change. Something was off. He didn't feel as heavy. His lower abdomen hurt constantly, a low, radiating ache. The lower part of his back was worse, he felt like vomiting if he bent forward just a touch too far. He woke up one morning to find energon leaking between his thighs, horror and realization stark in his face. He'd miscarried.
The warbird swallows heavily on his seat atop the universe, his to rule, his to conquer and assimilate, his to make unto himself, a brand new Cybertron.
He hadn't told anyone for weeks. He went into battles with unnatural scorn, swinging at his enemies with a ferocity that was volumes worse than ever before. It wasn't until Soundwave noticed, because Soundwave always noticed, that he'd finally had a breakdown. The TIC had approached him in his berthroom one night, because the warlord hadn't left it in three days. He hadn't cleaned the blood off his berth yet, and the blood on his thighs still left a faint blue hue on the metal. He was sleepless, delirious with grief and exhaustion.
His comms officer had not said anything, as usual. Instead, he approached the warlord slowly, as if he were doing so with a stray animal. With a gentleness that Megatron had not felt for too long, Soundwave rested a spindly hand on his shoulder, his head slowly moving to the mess on the bed, and back to Megatron's deadened eyes.
"I don't have it anymore, Soundwave." Megatron had rasped. "I don't have it." He repeated, his voice breaking.
Soundwave held the massive mech as he'd cried, wept heavy tears into the spy's arms, his extra appendages surrounding his large frame, cradling him close. He hadn't at all hesitated to drink in the affection. He couldn't have Orion's, not anymore. After the incident, Megatron didn't talk about it, and Soundwave chose not to bring it up again. It just sat there, in the corner of his mind. A specter, there to haunt him.
His claw carves a deep scratch into the iron throne.
He wanted to tell Orion. He couldn't, but he had wanted to. Or rather, he wanted to tell Optimus Prime, because Orion Pax was dead and gone, scattered to the winds just like Megatronus, just like the child. He gnaws his tongue in thought.
Megatron got close to telling the Prime, a few times. He was tempted in the height of battle, just to spur Optimus on, just to crawl under his skin and see if anything he could say would jostle that unshakeable stoicism. But he never did. Something about the idea of it felt justified to him, that the Prime should only find out in the most inappropriate of means, covered in each other's blood and wounded beyond what should be survivable. But working up the will to do it, finding the drive within himself to go through with it, it just didn’t seem to be there. It felt… too personal. Too sacred. Even in the mist of utter failure, when the possibility of bringing up such a topic could tactically benefit him, he never did so.
He supposed Optimus likely had a good idea of what happened anyhow, since a decepticon youngling had never been seen on the Nemesis. Energon was precious and scarce, the mere thought of bearing a child on the warship was unheard of amongst the ranks. The risk was so high it was tantamount to near instant death. If not from starvation, then neglect due to the carrier having to fight in battle so often, or simply being assassinated by a particularly bitter rival. The environment was totally opposed to any youth.
He exhaled, long and deep.
Taking another sire was never appealing after that, nor the prospect of finding another partner. Everything felt hollow. No one would be able to seal that kind of wound within his spark. Even after all these millions of years, time long enough for new stars to both be born and die out, that pain had never done anything for him but leave behind its ugly scar. It still felt too raw. It still, sometimes, felt like he bled the blood of his sparkling all over his berth again, the memory claustrophobic and suffocating even as the energon stains had been scrubbed out. He felt comfort exclusively in that his offspring would not live in this world. Yes, he was willing to fight until everything was dust, until the memory of why the fighting even began slipped through his digits like desert sand, but he would not want his child to be born into it. The warlord did not want them to inherit the purgatory that was their race’s current state. If that meant not having them at all, then so be it.
Megatron’s optics felt heavy, his vision blurry. He blinked it away.

Op your post and tags about Artemis doing damage control is absolutely delightful.
I mean, from Titan's curse we know Artemis was trying to get the council to prepare for the war, recognizing what was happening, even before the war gods actively acted.
Also Apollo getting a ping when a new possible child of the prophecy gets born actually makes sense. He knew how old Thalia was, he's also a god of truth besides just prophecy and during the years of the Hunt functioning I doubt the only big three kids to join are Bianca and Thalia. The chances are really small for that to happen.
It could also be Roman demigods, since literally anyone can join and it's better to be safe than sorry. And since it was 'child of the eldest gods' and not specifically the big three, she might have even counted in children of Demeter, since Hestia and Hera don't have (in Hera's case demigod) children.
About anon that Artemis acted predatory: bestie do you want the prophecy to happen? Do you want to risk Olympus falling?
And the average life expectancy of a Greek demigod is like 13 years old, were it not for them, the squad at Westover would have little chances of survival at the age they were at. Also statistically, the Hunt even helps to get demigods the chance to reach the camp by killing the monsters.
In conclusion: was it sketchy? Sure. Was she lying tho? Not at all.
From the few Hunters we got the chance to meet, sure, Bianca was really young when she died, but Phoebe and Zoë were thousands of years old. Let's do the math. If Zoë had been with the Hunt for let's say 3 000 years, and Phoebe for 2 500. Bianca died at 13 I think? Even these three on their own puts the average life expectancy of a Hunter to 1 838 years. And that's a bit higher than the chances of Greek demigods.
Artemis literally is doing the absolute most of a damage control.
(also personal headcanon that Artemis sends the Hunters to the camp instead of being on their own so they were safe from Orion since he usually targets them when they're alone, and being without Artemis who even got stolen and physically cannot help would be quite a chance to miss)
I love your username!
It always interests me how out of all of the gods Artemis is the most involved in the everyday lives of demigods. Mr. D helps run the camp, but she spends her time with her hunters, fighting with them and forging relationships. She’s notable in TTC because when the gang is fighting Atlas with her, she feels like a comrade more than a capricious god.
She’s not above criticism, but even taking my Great Prophecy Damage Control read out of the situation, she does more to directly help demigods than like. Any other god. So when I see wild criticism of her like “if Artemis hadn’t recruited the girl who admitted she might have destroyed Olympus if allowed to age then Hera wouldn’t have targeted Thalia so much. She was really just mad Thalia foreswore her only family in Jason. Isn’t Artemis so bad and evil???” It’s kind of like. Why are you bending over backwards to vilify one of the only gods consistently fighting and advocating for our heroes.
(Btw yes that is an actual take I saw in a fic.)
And you’re right on the Hunters ages!! Like we have several girls that have been around for thousands of years!!!! We have like five named Greek demigods that have lived to the age of eighteen in the original series, and over half of them proceeded to die anyway. Artemis is obviously doing something right to keep her girls alive this long.
With the fic idea… I may just have to write it when I get a chance. If I remember right, I don’t think the Romans were in line for the first Great Prophecy anyway, but it would be so funny if Artemis was like… fuck that. If I have to keep cleaning up my dad and uncle’s messes then I’m going to clean up all of them and get more hunters out of it.
Anyway thank you for the ask! I had fun making the post but then the anons I got kind of soured it :\ so I’m glad you like my thoughts!

A Curse for True Love
A note: Apologies for the sudden onslaught of Evajacks posts. This is what happens when you discover a series so late in the game.
After waiting for it for 2 1/2 weeks, I finally got to read A Curse for True Love. I have to spill all the feels I am feeling over this series, because they are many.
While not as good as BONA, there is still some really good material. This love story is one of the best that you can get from books that resemble fairytales. There is something so profound about it, and deep. I mean, you have the fact that you get both Evangeline and Jacks being victims of curses and danger. It was a true fight for true love. It reminded of some of my favorite fictional couples.
For the cursed angle, it was giving Captain Swan (but done better...yeah, I said it), as well as Snowing. With Jacks pushing Evangeline away to keep her safe from him, it was very similar to Dimitri pushing Rose away in Spirit Bound and Last Sacrifice, which I love. Let me add, Jacks watching Evangeline and longing from afar was reminiscent of Peter watching Mary Jane after being rescued in SM2, and the ending scene of the CW BatB pilot. I need more literature like that.
I just love the simplicity of this series. It's so straightforward; nothing convoluted like you see in certain romantasies. And I believe I saw a booktuber (at least I think it was this series) say that the stakes are more realistic and higher**, which I have to agree with. You have the FMC trying to find a second love she can be happy with, seemingly finds it, then becomes enamored with the MMC. She knows that he is unable to be with her, but is determined to find a way to be with him. With the MMC, he's wanted love, thought he found it, but she backstabbed him. Now he's bitter, and does nefarious things. However, he slowly falls for the FMC unexpectedly, but doesn't want to hurt her, thus pushing her away. It all changes when she is killed, and he goes back in time to fix it because of how much he loves her. But it all goes wrong when the FMC's false love takes her memories. Fast forward to MMC trying to thwart the husband, or any way FMC may be endangered, trying to protect her so she can live. However, he is going to make sure he doesn't try to interact with her too much, and makes plans to disappear from her life forever. It hurts him immensely, but, like before, feels he has to. She regains her memories, discovers his plans, and she has a race against time before he destroys the thing that allows him to love. There is lots of begging, confessions, pushing/pulling, and the like. She makes a move and BAM! Curse lifted. Only, after all of that, the false love kidnaps her and MMC has to still fight to be with her. Totally no big deal, right? LOL.
What I liked about the curse breaking is that they both had to believe in their love. At first I was confused as to why the cuff hurt him when Jacks tried to kiss Evangeline, but it's because that his second heart isn't in close proximity, so, he wasn't in his right mind. He probably didn't think she loved him the way he loved her. Subconsciously he likely did, yet it wasn't until she said those words and risked her life to physically show him.
Anyway, my whole point is this: Evajacks has now topped Feysand within my top 3 book OTPs in terms of overcoming odds and development. Seriously, the guy was going to destroy his ability to feel because he couldn't bear losing her again...at his hand. That is real sacrifice. What Rhysand did pales in comparison.
Anyway, here's my top 10 book couples.
Top 10 Book OTPs:
Romitri***-Vampire Academy
Haven and Stolas-Kingdom of Runes
Evajacks-Once Upon a Broken
Feysand-A Court of Thorns and Roses
Chaolaena (so fight me)-Throne of Glass
Warnette (gosh, this was hard to place so low)-Shatter Me
Kane and Arwen-A Dawn of Onyx
Jurdan-The Cruel Prince
Mac and Jericho-Fever series
Sera and Ash (would have been higher if not for Fire in the Flesh)-Flesh and Fire
**Edit: Okay, I lied; it was a different book. But, the belief still stands. Also, unlike the booktuber, I don't see this as a guilty-pleasure series
***Romitri is the first book couple I fell in love with. They have to be number one, no matter how I feel about the others.
